So, these odds of your upcoming duel have switched into a more even `stand-off'.”

Veemon's life-points were 3000 and Davis' life-points were only 2000! However, it is Davis' turn and he has already drawn his card. Davis then declares, “Reveal face-down cards! Re-Fusion and Fulfillment of the Contract!” Davis' two face-down cards were revealed to be the Re-Fusion and Fulfillment of the Contract magic cards. Davis then says, “These magic cards cost me 800 life-points each, but Re-Fusion allows me to summon a fusion monster from my graveyard back to the field and Fulfillment of the Contract allows to summon a Ritual Monster from my graveyard back to the field! I sacrifice 1600 of my life-points to summon back Black Luster Solider and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!” Davis' life-points then dropped from 2000 to only 400, but Black Luster Solider (3000/2500) and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4500/3800) appeared on the field! Davis then says, “Now, Veemon, I will use my second Polymerization card to fuse my two monsters to form. . . Master of Dragon Solider!” Davis then plays his Polymerization card from his hand, places in the magic/trap slot, and both monsters on the field combined together to form the monster known as Master of Dragon Solider (5000/4000) in attack mode! Davis then yells out, “Now, my monster's special ability kicks in! Master of Dragon Solider absorbs the attack points of every dragon monster sent from the field directly to the graveyard as well as all dragon monsters on the field! With your own Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the three Blue-White Dragons that I used to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, my Red-Eyes Black Dragon, and finally, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your graveyard, this gives my monster 17,400 additional attack points!” Master of Dragon Soldier's special ability then raises his stats from 5000/4000 to 22,400/4000! Finally, Davis declares, “Finally, I activate my Mystical Space Typhoon, thus, destroying your face-down card!” Davis then inserts a Mystical Space Typhoon card into his magic/trap slot, causing the hologram of the card to appear, and finally, a great wind from the hologram destroys Veemon's face-down card. Davis smiles and says, “Sorry, Veemon, but this duel is over! Master of Dragon Soldier, attack Veemon's Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Dragon Saber Blast!” Master of Dragon Solider then fires an aurora colored energy beam from his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's mouths as well as Black Luster Soldier's sword part of Master of Dragon Solider that destroys Veemon's Blue-Eyes White Dragon and depletes the rest of Veemon's life-points and ends the duel.

 

Veemon smiles and tells Davis, “Well, partner, you win.”

 

Davis smiles and tells his Digimon partner and best friend, “It was close, Veemon. You nearly had me.”

 

Veemon tells his Digidestined partner, “Well, Davis, I wasn't trained by the `King of Games', himself, or themselves, Yugi Moto and his alter ego, Yami Yugi, the pharaoh of Egypt.”

 

Davis tells Veemon, “As well as Joey Wheeler, too. Jun, Takato, Takuya, and I were the best students and the only students that they ever had.”

 

Veemon smiles and adds, “Plus, we helped them save their world from Dartz and the Great Leviathan. Well, anyway, great duel, pal.”

 

Kari's voice then calls out, “So, this is your `personal business' that you and Veemon talked about, huh, Dai-chan?” Davis and Veemon gasp as they look to see their beloveds looking and grinning in the bushes at the two of them.

 

Davis then exclaims, totally surprised, “Kari! How long have you and Gatomon been there?!”

 

Kari and Gatomon leave the bushes, come up to our Digidestined of Miracles and his Digimon partner, and Gatomon replies, “Long enough to see you and Veemon's `personal businesses.”

 

Davis then explains, “I had promised Veemon a Duel Monsters re-match and I knew that my older sister, Takato, and Takuya could handle yours and Ken's lesson with the Aeons. So, I used some `free time' to give Veemon the duel that he wanted.”

 

Kari then asks, “Daisuke, where did you learn to duel so well and where did you get those Duel Disks from?”

 

Davis replies, with a wide smile, “We learned from the best duelists ever known, Joey Wheeler and Yugi Moto with his alter ego, Yami Yugi, the pharaoh of Egypt themselves. We helped them defeat a powerful villain named Dartz and his super monster known as the Great Leviathan. In return, Yugi and Yami gave us, three certain all powerful cards.” Davis then takes all of his cards out of his graveyard and deck, reshuffles his deck, and then takes a card out of his deck. When he shows Kari the card, she gasps to see the Egyptian God Card, Slifer the Sky Dragon (X000/X000), in his hand!

 

Kari exclaims, “Is that Slifer the Sky Dragon, one of the three Egyptian God Cards?!”

 

Davis smirks and responds, in his usual tone, “In the living print, Kari! Yugi and Yami gave us the three Egyptian God Cards to aid in our quest against Eris and her master as well as safeguarding the three God Cards from the forces of darkness! Takuya holds Obelisk the Tormentor and Takato has the most powerful of the Egyptian God Cards, the all mighty Winged Dragon of Ra!”

 

Kari states to her lover, “Wow! You can use the three Egyptian God Cards?! But how?! In the Yu-Gi-Oh show, I thought that only people with connections to the ancient Egyptian scriptures of that world could only use them!”

 

Davis tells Kari, “Too true, Kari, but since D-Warriors can gain and use the powers of the other worlds, we gain the powers and abilities of the Millennium items, namely the Millennium Necklace and Rod, plus we gained the ability to read the ancient Egyptian texts from those 5,000 years ago in Yugi's and Yami's homeworld. Thus, we gained our own `connection' to the Egyptian God Cards and their powers, thus we have gained the ability to control all three of them.”

 

Kari asks Davis, “Well, Davis, can I borrow Veemon's Duel Disk and you and I can have a duel of our own?” Davis was surprised by Kari's `request' and then she says, in a bit of seductive tone, while holding a Duel Monsters deck in her hands, “Don't worry, Daisuke, I haven't been just `sitting around' during the three years that you and Jun were gone.”

 

But before Davis could answer, Eris' evil voice yells out, “Sorry, little princess, but Davis and I have a little `duel date' of our own!” Davis, Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon then look to the source of Eris' evil voice and find our evil demon girl looking at them with his left arm behind her back.

 

Davis growls at Eris, angrily, “What do you want, Eris, you bitch?!” Eris, with a wide evil grin, uncovers her left arm, revealing the duel disk used by Dartz and his gang, and activates her duel disk into `dueling mode'.

 

Eris then inserts a dueling deck and exclaims, nastily, “What do you think you fool?! You and I are going to duel!”

 

Davis replies, in a serious tone, “Not today, asshole, I don't think that you and I are going to have a duel at this time!”

 

Eris then asks Davis, in a slip-song tone, “Okay, Prince Motomiya, but do you think you can protect your precious princess even though you have the power of an Ascendant 4? You don't know what kind of dangers or `surprises' that I've got with me, do you? So, do you want to risk little Kari's life on your refusal?”

 

Davis growls, knowing that Eris had an excellent point, and he states, reluctantly, “All right, Eris, you have yourself a duel.”

 

Kari tells Davis, in a worried tone, “Dai-chan, don't! Eris might be setting a trap!”

 

Davis tells Kari, “I can't risk your safety on that, Kari. So, please Kari, stay back and watch out for any tricks.” Kari reluctantly nods her head and gets some distance from the duelists. Davis then activates his duel disk and both Davis' and Eris' life-points register at 4000 life-points, each.

 

“Let's duel!” Davis and Eris shout out in unison and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

Eris then draws her card and says, “Since I'm challenging you, Motomiya, I'll go first.” Eris looks at the cards in her hand, then she places two cards in the magic/trap slots with a monster card on the field, and yells out, “I place two cards face-down on the fields and I summon Strike Ninja in attack mode!” The holograms of two face-down cards and a hologram of Strike Ninja (1700/1200) in attack mode appear on the field.

 

Davis then yells out, “My move!” Davis then draws a card from his deck, looks at the cards in his hand, and then inserts a card into his duel disk's magic/trap slot, causing a hologram of the Graceful Charity magic card to appear and Davis cries out, “Now, I use my Graceful Charity!” The image of the angel on the Graceful Charity appears on the field, has a ball of light in her hands, and the sphere of light then rains down streams of light, which `hit' Davis' deck. Davis then draws three cards from his deck and states, “This allows me to draw three cards from my deck as long as discard two from my hand.” Davis looks at his hand, takes two cards from it, and puts into his graveyard pile. Davis then yells out, “Now, I take the two monsters in my graveyard and remove them from the game!” Davis then takes out a Skilled Dark Magician (1900/1700) and a Guardian Angel Joan (2800/2000) from his graveyard and removes the cards from the duel. Then Davis places a monster card on his duel disk and declares, “In order to summon Black Luster Solider, Envoy of the Beginning!” After that a hologram of Black Luster Solider, Envoy of the Beginning (3000/2500) appears on the field. Davis then slaps a monster card face-down on his duel disk, while adding two cards to his magic/trap slots, and Davis calls out, “I place one monster face-down with two cards face-down on the field!” A monster card face-down and two face-down cards then appeared on the field. Finally, Davis exclaims, “And now, I end my turn!”

 

Eris then yells out, “Okay, my turn!” Eris then draws one card from her deck, looks at it, and then thinks to herself, “Why didn't Motomiya attack me? His monster is stronger than mine, but then again, he must figured out that one of my face-down is a trap, but then again, it could all be apart of his strategy to beat me! Doesn't matter anyway to me! Once I draw that one card from my deck, victory will be mine! And without his legendary dragon to help him, Motomiya is finished! Personally, I'm mystified why Timaeus abandoned Motomiya even though he never used the Seal of Orichalcos! Oh, well, Motomiya's loss is my gain!” Eris then calls out, “Now, I play my Pot of Greed magic card!” Eris then inserts the card into her duel disk's magic/trap slot, causing the hologram to appear, and then Eris declares, “This allows me to draw two cards!” After Eris draws two cards from her deck, the hologram of Pot of Greed to disappear, and she puts the magic card into the graveyard. Eris then yells out, “Now, I play the magic card, Cost Down! This will allow me to summon my more powerful monsters more easily!” Eris then inserts the magic card into her duel disk's magic/trap and then calls out, “Now, I sacrifice my Strike Ninja. . .!” Eris' Strike Ninja then vanishes in a stream of light as she takes the card off the duel disk and inserts it into the graveyard pile. Eris then puts another monster card on the duel disk and she exclaims, “. . .In order to summon my Tri-Horned Dragon in attack mode!” Then a Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2400) appears on the field in attack mode! Eris then inserts a magic card into the magic/trap slot, then a hologram of a Dragon Nails magic card, and Eris declares, “Finally, I activate my Dragon Nails card, increasing my dragon by 600 attack points!” Tri-Horned Dragon stats go from 2850/2400 to 3450/2400! Eris then points to Davis' Black Luster Solider and yells out, “Now, Tri-Horned Dragon, destroy Motomiya's Black Luster Solider!” Eris' Tri-Horned Dragon then moves for the kill on Davis' Black Luster Solider.

 

Davis grins and states, “Not so fast! Reveal face-down card!” One of Davis' face-down cards is revealed to be Spellbinding Circle trap card. Davis tells Eris, “My trap card will ensnare your Tri-Horned Dragon in a ring of magic, entrapping your monster, and it will lose 700 attack points!”

 

Eris smirks, evilly, and says, “I don't think so! You just triggered my trap card! Trap Jammer!” Eris then reveals one of her face-down cards to be a Trap Jammer trap card.

 

Davis gasps and exclaims, “Oh no!”

 

Eris, still widely grinning, tells Davis, “Oh yes! Since you activated a trap card when a monster is attacking, my counter-trap card de-activates your Spellbinding Circle!” Davis watches in horror as his trap card is de-activated by Eris' Trap Jammer and Eris' Tri-Horned Dragon destroys Davis' Black Luster Solider! Eris then yells out, “There goes your Black Luster Solider and a good amount of your life-points!” Eris then laughs out loud, but then is shocked to see her life-points lowered by 450 from 4000 to 3550! Eris cries out, totally surprised, “What?! Why did my life-points go down?!”

 

Davis then yells out, “How do you think, bitch?!” Eris then looks towards Davis and her eyes grow wide with surprise to see that Davis' other face-down card is a Spell of Pain magic card!

 

Eris roars out, angrily, “Damn you, Motomiya!”

 

Davis then tells Eris, “Didn't like that, did you, Eris? My Spell of Pain magic card allows me to transfer the damage on my life-points to yours when my monster was destroyed.”

 

Eris then tells Davis, angrily, “Fine! I end my turn!”

 

Davis then draws his card and declares, “Fine, my move!” Davis looks at the cards in his hand, takes one, places the card in the magic/trap slot, a hologram of a Dark Designator magic card appears on the field, and Davis yells out, “I play the magic card, Dark Designator! This forces you to draw one card from your deck that I chose! And I choose your Card of Sanctity magic card!”

 

Eris says, confused and her usual nasty tone, “Fine!” When the Eris draws her Card of Sanctity magic card into her hand, she asks, curiously, “But why should I care about that?”

 

Davis then shows Eris another magic card that has the picture of a masked thief with a large dark brown sack on his back and Davis tells her, “Because now, I play the magic card, Quick Thief! By sacrificing 500 of my life-points, this allows me to take one card from your hand! And I choose your Card of Sanctity!” Eris then goes over and slaps her Card of Sanctity magic card into Davis' hand and Davis' life-points lower from 4000 to 3500. Davis widely grins and tells Eris, in a taunting tone, “Thank you, my dear.” Eris angrily growls at the Digidestined of Miracles as she goes back into her `position' on the dueling field. Davis then inserts Eris' Card of Sanctity into his duel disk and yells out, “Now, I play your Card of Sanctity magic card! Now, both of us must draw until we are holding six cards!” Both Eris and Davis draw cards from their decks until they have six cards in their hands. Davis then places two cards in the magic/trap slots of his duel disk, causing holograms of two face-down cards to appear on the fields, and Davis declares, “Now, I place two cards face-down on the field and end my turn!”

 

Eris then draws a card from her deck, looks at it, smirks, and says, “Well, Motomiya, since we've been worrying about your monsters, you don't know or have forgotten what's waiting for you in my deck. Guess I will remind you then, it's a powerful magic card that you've experience before.”

 

Davis gasps, knowing what Eris is talking about, exclaims, in shock, “Oh no! Did you draw the card that I think that you have drawn?!” Eris smiles, widely and evilly, and turns the card so that Davis can see what the card is. Davis yells out in horror, “Oh no! The Seal of Orichalcos!” And indeed, Eris has the Seal of Orichalcos magic card in her hands.

 

Eris tells Davis, “You are so right! Now, I activate the Seal of Orichalcos!” Eris then inserts the magic card into the field magic card slot, causing the top of her duel disk to glow with bright green glow, causing the Seal of Orichalcos to appear in the air.

 

Davis growls in his own thoughts, “Damn! I was afraid that this demon bitch would use this card! However, legendary dragon or not, I've got to win for everyone's sake! But I wish that Timaeus was still by my side! I keep wondering why he abandoned me when I never did use the Seal of Orichalcos myself! Well, I've got a hard duel to fight!” Meanwhile, the evil Seal of Orichalcos continues to come down to the dueling field.

 

(Back to the remaining of the D-Warriors and Digidestined; On the meanwhile)

 

We find our team of D-Warriors and Digidestined as they continued with Ken's practice with the Aeons and how to summon them.

 

Tai then thinks in his own mind, “Kari and Gatomon have been gone a long time to find Davis and Veemon. I hope nothing bad happened to all of them.”

 

During the practice, Jun asks, “Have any of you seen my bro, Veemon, his girlfriend, Kari, and Gatomon?”

 

Takuya shakes his head and tells Jun in reply, “No, your brother and Veemon left to take care of some `personal business' and Kari and Gatomon went after soon after.”

 

Jun smirks to herself and thinks, “Most likely, the squirt and Veemon are having their own little Duel Monsters duel! Veemon told me that Davis owed him a duel!”

 

But then Yolei sees a `green glow' comes from the Digital World sky, she looks at it and exclaims, wondering, while pointing to the `green glow', “What is that?”

 

When all of the others look at the `green glow', Jun, Takato, Takuya, Silvermon, and Guilmon gasp in shock and horror, knowing what the `green glow' is, causing Takato to shout out, “Jun, Takuya, do you see what I see?!”

 

Takuya replies, in a loud tone of voice, “No kidding! And I know that's big trouble! It's the Seal of Orichalcos!”

 

Sora then asks, in a worried tone, “What's the Seal of Orichalcos?!”

 

The more experienced D-Warriors strap on their duel disk onto their left arms, put their Duel Monsters decks into their duel disks, and Jun replies, in a serious tone, “A card infused with great evil powers! We will explain on the way! However, when that evil seal is activated, it means only one thing: Major trouble! Come on, Kari, Davis, or both of them might be in big trouble!” The Digidestined, Digimon, and the D-Warriors then run towards the descending Seal of Orichalcos without needing another word said.

 

(Returning to our Digidestined of Miracles, Light, their Digimon partners, and Eris; A short time later)

 

As the Seal of Orichalcos lands on the ground, Kari asks, shocked, “What's going on?!” When the mark of the Orichalcos fully forms on the ground, the mystical `force field' shines in and the force throws Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon to the ground.

 

Davis looks at his girlfriend and their two Digimon partners and calls to them, worriedly, “Kari, are all three of you all right?!”

 

Kari, Veemon, and Gatomon get to their feet and Kari replies, “We're okay, Davis!”

 

Eris' voice then yells out, “But you won't be, Motomiya!” When Davis turns to Eris, he sees that she is glows a dark violet aura, then the mark of the Orichalcos appears on her forehead, and her eyes become covered in a dark red tint.

 

Davis then asks Eris, “Why did you play this evil magic card? You're risking your own soul as well as mine.”

 

Eris then tells Davis, “Did you forget that I'm a child of the Ultimate Being of Destruction and that I've got no soul! So, that means even if I lose, the Seal of Orichalcos can't take my soul since I don't have one! So, I've got all to gain and nothing to lose!” Eris then says, “Now, to the task at hand! The Seal of Orichalcos increases all of monsters' attack points by 500, including my Tri-Horned Dragon!” Tri-Horned Dragon then gains the mark of the Orichalcos on his forehead, his eyes become a blood red color, and his stats raises from 3450/2400 to 3950/2400! Eris then commands, “Tri-Horned Dragon, destroy his face-down monster and the last of his defenses!” Tri-Horned Dragon then attack Davis' face-down monster card hologram and splits it in half! But then card is revealed to be Cyber Jar (900/900)! Eris calls out in shock and horror, “No, not Cyber Jar!”

 

Davis smiles and answers, “Yes! I thought that you would use the Seal of Orichalcos and summon a high-powered monster, so, I put Cyber Jar on the field to defend myself! Now, my Cyber Jar will destroy every monster on the field!” And then Tri-Horned Dragon and Cyber Jar are both destroyed by Cyber Jar's special effect. Davis and Eris then draw five cards each and Davis says, “Now, each of us will draw five cards and we will summon all the four-star monsters or lower that we draw to the field!” Davis then places four monster cards on the field and yells out, “Now, I summon X-Head Cannon, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank with Gamma the Magnet Warrior and all of them in defense mode!” And then holograms of X-Head Cannon (1800/1600), Y-Dragon Head (1500/1300), Z-Metal Tank (1500/1300), and Gamma the Magnet Warrior (1500/1800) appear on the field in defense mode!

 

Eris then places three monster cards and cries out, “I summon Science Solider, Cyber Solider of Darkworld, and Kinetic Solider and all of them in attack mode!” Science Solider (800/800), Cyber Solider of Darkworld (1400/1200), and Kinetic Solider (1350/1800) appear on the field in attack mode, then they gain the mark of the Orichalcos, their eyes glow red, and their stats change with Science Solider (1300/800), Cyber Solider of Darkworld (1900/1200), and Kinetic Solider (1850/1800)! Eris then smiles, evilly, and tells Davis, “Thanks to you, Motomiya. For bringing out these monsters, you've activated my trap card!”

 

Davis exclaims, flabbergasted, “What?!”

 

Eris then declares, “Activate Solider Revolt!” Eris' other face-down card is revealed to be the Solider Revolt trap card and Eris yells out, “This card can only be activated when Science Solider, Cyber Solider of Darkworld, and Kinetic Solider are on the field! And since that's the case, I destroy every card on your side of the field and in your hand!” Electric sparks then cover all of Davis' cards and monsters on the field with Davis' monsters being destroyed at once! And then Davis discards his whole hand to the graveyard. Eris then inserts a card into her magic/trap slot and calls out, “Now, I activate my Sky Union magic card to sacrifice all three of my soldiers to summon one of my Ultimate beasts!” Eris' three monsters then disappear in streaks of light and the giant machine monster known as Air Fortress Ziggurat (2500/2000) appears in the skies above Eris, nearly covering both duelists. And then mark of the Orichalcos appear on the `head' of the monster, causing its eyes to become blood red and it's stats to change from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000! Eris then smiles and says, “And with your whole hand gone! There is possible no way can you win! However, my Ziggurat can't attack in the same turn that it's summoned! So, make your FINAL move!” Eris' Air Fortress Ziggurat then produces a Robot Token that comes onto the field.

 

Davis draws his card and tells Eris, “This duel isn't over, yet, Eris!” Davis looks at his card, places his card on his duel disk, and yells out, “Now, I summon my Alpha the Magnet Warrior in defense mode!” Then the hologram of Alpha the Magnet Warrior (1400/1700) appears on the field in defense mode!

 

Eris draws one card from her deck and asks, “Do you think that will stop me?” Just then the rest of the gang appears out of the bushes and Jun, Takato, and Takuya gasps at the sight of Davis, trapped within the Seal of Orichalcos.

 

Tai tells Kari, “Kari, are you okay? What's going on here?”

 

Kari replies, “I'm just fine, Tai. But Davis is trapped within that evil seal and she says that if Davis' loses the duel, he loses his soul!”

 

TK nods his head and tells Kari, “We know! Jun, Takato, and Takuya explained about this evil magic card! It's known as the Seal of Orichalcos, a magic card filled with evil special powers, and once activated, when one duelist loses the duel, they lose their soul!”

 

Takato then adds to TK's statements, “And there is no way to get out of the seal, once it is on the field!”

 

Kari exclaims, worriedly and fearfully, “Oh no!”

 

Eris replies, in evil tone, “Oh, yes! And now, witness Kari's boyfriend, Jun's younger brother, and your High Prince's last duel! Air Fortress Ziggurat, destroy Davis' Alpha the Magnet Warrior with Sky Cannon Blast!” Eris' Air Fortress Ziggurat then fires all of his cannons at Davis' Magnet Warrior, destroying it in one tremendous explosion! However, even though Davis' Magnet Warrior was in defense mode, he still loses 1600 life-points, lowering his total life-points to 1900! Eris then tells Davis, “Did you forget about my Fortress' second ability? When it destroys one of your monsters, the difference in their attack points is still taken out of your life-points!” After Eris' Ziggurat produces one more Robot Token, she declares, “That ends my turn!”

 

Takuya exclaims, “Oh no! With no monsters on the field and just 1900 life-points left, if Davis doesn't think of anything fast! He will lose!”

 

Jun yells at Takuya, “Don't you dare say that Takuya! My bro is the Digidestined of Miracles, he WILL find a way out of this!”

 

Davis wasn't as confident as his sister as he thinks, “I hate to admit it, Takuya has an excellent point! If I don't draw what I need, this round will be my last! Please, as Yugi and Yami always done, heart of the cards, please give me strength!” Davis then draws his card and looks at it. He then smiles, places the card in the magic/trap slot, and declares, “Now, I play another Card of Sanctity! This forces both of us to draw until we have six cards!” Since Eris already has six cards in her hand, she can't draw anyone, but Davis' draws six more cards into his hand. Davis then sees that he had drawn the Eye of Timaeus into his hand, causing him to think, “My legendary dragon! I don't know if you can hear, but whatever I did to `hurt' you, Timaeus, I'm truly sorry. So, I ask, not for my wishes and desires, but for the hopes and dreams of my love, my friends, and my family! Please Timaeus, help me!” Davis then takes a deep breath, plays a card in his magic/trap card slots, and yells out, “First, I play Monster Reborn! In order to bring back, my Dark Magician Girl!” Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700) then appears on the field in attack mode. Davis then puts another card into his magic/trap slot and declares, “Now, I play Soul Exchange! This allows me to sacrifices your two Robot Tokens. . .!” Eris' two Robot Tokens then disappear in streams of light, Davis puts another card on his duel disk and calls out, “To summon my Dark Magician in attack mode!” Dark Magician (2500/2100) then appears beside Dark Magician Girl in attack mode!

 

Eris scoff and says, not threatened, “And what are they going to me?”

 

Davis replies, “A lot!” Davis then takes out another card from his hand and shows it to Eris, displaying his Eye of Timaeus card, declaring, “Now, I play this! The legendary Eye of Timaeus!”

 

Eris thinks in her own mind, “Some people will never learn, do they?” But then Davis' Eye of Timaeus shines a bright white light and when Eris sees the light, she thinks, “What?!”

 

(A/N: *Now the music when the Eye of Timaeus is played starts.*)

 

When the light disappears, Eris and everyone else looks and gasps, expect Davis, when the legendary dragon, Timaeus, is above and gives out a loud dragon roar!

 

“Whoa! That's one big dragon!” TK exclaims, awe-struck.

 

“No kidding!” Yolei states, just as awe-struck and a bit scared for Timaeus.

 

However, Jun, Takato, and Takuya smile at this event and Jun thinks in her head, “Oh my god! It's Timaeus! Davis' legendary dragon has returned to his side!”

 

Eris shouts, in total disbelief, “No way! You can't summon that dragon!”

 

Davis replies, “Yes, I can! I can also do this too! Timaeus, combine with my Dark Magician Girl!” Timaeus then combines with his Dark Magician Girl, which creates a fused creature that has the Dark Magician Girl in silver armor with a silver sword and shield and riding on Timaeus' back! Davis then yells out, “Now, my two monsters form the mighty Dark Magician Girl, the Dragon Knight!” Dark Magician Girl, the Dragon Knight's stats are 2600/2100, but then Davis displays two more cards, an Excalibur and Megamorph magic cards! Davis then yells out, “And now, I play my Excalibur and Megamorph magic cards! My Excalibur magic card will double my Dragon Knight's attack points and since my life-points are lower than yours, my Megamorph magic card will do the same!” Davis then inserts the magic cards into his duel disk's magic/trap slots and Dark Magician Girl, the Dragon Knight's stats change from 2600/2100 to 10,400/4200!

 

Eris cries out, “No, this can't be!”

 

Davis roars out, in pure determination, “I won't let hurt my girlfriend, my sister, and any of my friends, anymore, Eris! Now, my Dark Magician Girl, the Dragon Knight, finish this duel, now. Destroy her Ziggurat with Dark Energy Excalibur!” Davis' Dark Magician Girl, the Dragon Knight then fires a beam of pink light from Dark Magician Girl's sword and beam of aqua-blue light from Timaeus' mouth that combine into the rainbow beam of energy that smash into Eris' Air Fortress Ziggurat, causing it to become destroy in a giant explosion and lowering Eris' life-points down to zero! When the smoke of the explosion disappears and the Seal of Orichalcos leaves the field, Davis breaths a sigh of relief.

 

(A/N: *The music ends, now.*)

 

“Davis!” Davis' sister, friends, and his girlfriend call to him. Our Digidestined of Miracles then turns to meet the loving embrace of his lover.

 

Davis tells Kari, “Kari, I'm so sorry that I worried you.”

 

Kari tells Davis, “Oh, Daisuke, I'm so glad that you're all right.”

 

Jun then asks, “Davis, how were you able to use your legendary dragon, again?”

 

And then a pink glow comes from the air and a feminine voice replies, “I can answer that.” When everyone looks up to the source of the light, a Dark Magician Girl floats down to them.

 

Takato asks, “Hey, it's Lilly!”

 

Yolei asks, “You know this Dark Magician Girl?!”

 

Takuya then tells everyone, “In the world of Yugi Moto, there is a place where there are real-life Duel Monsters live in peace and harmony with the human world, kind of like our three dimensions, with the Real and Digital Worlds. This Dark Magician Girl is named Lilly and she brought is into her world to help save all worlds by letting three legendary dragons, Timaeus, Criteous, and Hermos, give us their powers. Davis has the power of Timaeus in his Eye of Timaeus card. But for some reason, Davis' dragon abandoned him. . . until now.”

 

Davis then asks Lilly, “Why did Timaeus come back to me? And why did he abandon me in the first place?”

 

The Dark Magician Girl, Lilly, responds, “During your early times when you used Timaeus, you had gathered so much anger and rage against your friends for what they have done to you that you made yourself venerable to the evil powers, like the Seal of Orichalcos, and Timaeus abandoned you because if you continued to use the power of Timaeus in that state, you might have become what you hated and what you were fighting against. However, once you abandoned your hate and rage, as well as remember to love and care for again, Timaeus returned to your side. Now, with your hate and rage, gone, Timaeus' power is yours and will stay with you as long as you need him. Prince Daisuke Motomiya, you have done, well.”

 

Davis smiles and says, “Thanks, Lilly.”

 

Lilly shakes her head and responds, “No, thank you, Prince Motomiya. Yugi and the pharaoh would be proud of you, one of their dueling and hero protégé.” Davis blushes in embarrassment and Lilly smile as she disappears back to the Domain of the Beasts.

 

But then Eris' voice yells out, “Motomiya!”

 

Jun groans out, “Oh no! I know who that is!” When everyone looks, they see Eris, alive and well, and just as strong as ever.

 

Eris smiles and says, “Like I told you, Motomiya, I don't have a soul for the Seal of Orichalcos to take away, so, I'm safe from its powers! Remember, that this isn't over!” Eris then teleports away and disappears into a veil of darkness.

 

Davis says, while tightly and comfortably embracing his love, “No, this isn't over, Eris. But you will never beat us.”

 

Tai tells Davis, “That's right!” And then rest of the gang head back for the training field for the Kari's and Ken's training to take a break for the rest of the day.

 

(Back at Eris' Fortress; A short while later)

 

Eris slams her fists onto the table, extremely angered at her latest defeat, and she yells out, “Damn it! I nearly had him and that damn dragon had to return!”

 

And then a dark male voice calls out, “Guess that means that you didn't get Prince Motomiya's soul. No surprise.” Eris looks to the source of the voice to see the same red eyes surround in darkness as before.

 

Eris screams out, “Ares! Don't start with me!”

 

Ares tells Eris, “Remember, Eris, all four of the more experienced D-Warriors were trained by the most elite duelists from Yugi Moto's world, including the `King of Games', themselves! The only way that you can beat them is that you find a dark duelist just as powerful as Yugi and Yami were.”

 

Eris then gains an idea, she forms a wide smirk, and states, “A dark duelists that just as strong as Yugi and Yami, huh? Well, I know of two that nearly brought the `King of Games' to their knees!” Eris then forms a dark portal in front of her and she exclaims, “And they will do anything to escape from the shadow realm! And once I gain their `support', the D-Warriors will finally fall!” Eris then steps into the dark portal and it vanishes after her.

 

Ares then thinks to himself, “We will see, Sister Eris. We will see. . .” Ares then disappears into the darkness and shadows.

 

Next time in Chapter 23: Deadly Duel; Part Two: After Eris' first attempt to destroy the D-Warriors and Digidestined team through the evil powers of the Seal of Orichalcos has failed, Eris makes a second attempt to attack the gang through dueling by getting some `new' help. Eris teams up with the evil Yami Marik, who she releases from the Shadow Realm to duel against Jun, but Takuya also calls on some aid by `summoning' Yugi, still joined with Yami Yugi, the pharaoh of Egypt, Joey, Tea, and Tristan to the Digidestined's world. Now, Jun and Yami go head to head with Eris and Yami Marik in a deadly duel with the ultimate stakes! Can the `King of Games' and Digidestined of Spirit defeat these two with the dark powers of the Shadow Realm and the Seal of Orichalcos on their side?! Here it is! A fresh new chapter from my story and I'm sorry that it took so long for this new chapter to get, but my computer was out of commission for around four to five days and I only regained use of my computer just recently.
