We have arrived at the third chapter of this new story of mine and so far, we have seen Green Lantern rings, Blue Lantern rings, Red Lantern ring, and Orange Lantern come into the possession of certain ninja of the Naruto world especially a certain blond hair ninja. Plus, Sinestro, four Green Lanterns of Earth, and several DC superheroes have also arrived in the Naruto universe. Things are going to heat up as `other Lanterns' and rings come into the storyline including Hal's `ex' and the Corps that she leads as well as their rings will be making their debut in Naruto's world soon enough.

 

Before I start I would like to give credit to Time-warlock for the inspiration of the idea, how the rings get into Naruto's `realm', Naruto and Itachi getting certain Lantern Power Rings, and other material that I didn't mention in this commentary.

 

Also, I would like to say that my information may not be perfect, so, expect plenty of OOC (out of character) attitudes, situations, and whatnot by the characters in this story.

Spectrum Wars: Ninja Lanterns

 

Chapter 3: Fearsome Uchihas

 

In the skies of the ninja realm, we find a familiar Star Sapphire namely, Carol Farris, looking around and flying around. She followed our DC heroes especially her beloved Hal Jordan into the ninja world, but they were separated. Carol is marveling at the ninja realm before her.

 

Carol says, amazed, “This is incredible! I never have seen such a world before! It looks like back in Japan's Feudal days, but it has modern convinces that we have.”

 

Her Star Sapphire ring voices out, “Star Sapphire Carol, eternal love is being placed in jeopardy nearby. A human of this world possessed by a Red Lantern ring is endangering true love in a village several meters ahead.”

 

Carol says, with a serious tone, “Ring, show me the way.” As Carol's Star Sapphire ring prepares to show her the way, she thinks, “I'm sorry, Hal. I have to perform my duties as a Star Sapphire first, but I will find you and I hope that you are well.”

 

(Back at the Hidden Leaf Village; A brief time afterwards)

 

At the Hidden Leaf Village, we find Mizuki, the new Agent Orange, preparing to `swallow' the Hidden Leaf with his new `Orange Lantern' abilities along with his constructs while he spots a familiar figure coming towards him.

 

Mizuki yells out, with a sinister smile, “The fox brat is back and it looks like he got an upgrade of some sort! That's good to know since swallowing him whole will be easy!” Mizuki flies into the sky and Naruto, in his mixed Lantern uniform, flies up to him.

 

Naruto tells Mizuki, with a serious tone, “You had better get rid of that Lantern, Mizuki!”

 

Mizuki calls out, with a deadly glare, “No way, fox brat! I'm not giving up my new power to you or anyone else!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “That Lantern will consume you with a never ending hunger, Mizuki!”

 

Mizuki yells out, strongly, “I don't care since it is all MINE!!!” Mizuki unleashes a burst of orange light energy that throws Naruto a good distance away, but Naruto recovers quickly and rights himself quickly. Soon after, our Green Lanterns along with the two Kryptonians and Steel, fly up to Lantern Ninja.

 

Guy asks Naruto, “So, this is the stooge that you told us about?”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “That's Mizuki all right!”

 

Mizuki yells out, angrily, “It looks like that you brought some kind of new friends to help you, fox brat! I don't care how many friends that you have, you brat! I'll get my revenge on you and I will take everything since it belong to ME!” Mizuki then uses his new orange ring to get dozens of flying snakes made of orange light energy.

 

Naruto yells out, a bit nervously, “This is just great! I hate snakes! I got eaten twice by them!”

 

Supergirl asks, stunned, “You got eaten by giant snakes?”

 

Steel says, with a serious tone, “This isn't the time Kara! We have to move everyone!” Immediately, all of our heroes and our single heroine start flying around as the orange light constructs attack them. Naruto and our DC heroes and heroines start to fly and fight back, but the orange light constructs pretty much negate much of the Green Lantern attacks on them with the two Kryptonians, who had trouble with Green Lanterns, are hard-pressed against the orange light constructs. Mizuki, on the meanwhile, targets Naruto directly and the two of them are engaged in heavy battling as Naruto uses a combination of chakra and green light constructs against Mizuki, who counters with his own constructs while keeping the orange lantern close to him.

 

Mizuki yells out, with a sinister smirk, “You took everything from me, fox brat! You got more and more while you took everything from me including my girl!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You did that yourself, Mizuki! You betrayed her and she left you as she should have!

 

Mizuki calls out, angrily, “You took her from me, but I will get her back when I take everything from you!” Mizuki then creates orange light versions of the First and Second Hokages and makes them attack Naruto along many orange light kunai knives that Naruto barely manages to dodge and protect himself from. Mizuki then rams his fist into Naruto's chest and he yells out, with an insane smile on his lips, “That's right, fox brat! With this, I will gain all that I deserve! I'll take that fox and those rings with all the power that they hold! Then I will take your friends as well! I'll take everything and the whole village shall belong to me when I absorb everything!”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Not while I still breath, jerk! Believe it, Mizuki!” Naruto then lands a powerful punch to his jaw and knocking Mizuki off-balance in which Naruto creates a few dozen Shadows and while keeping two of them back, the rest take off to battle Mizuki.

 

Chizuru tells Naruto, “I think that it is time that you use your bloodlines Naruto!”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “That's a good idea, Chizuru-chan!” Naruto closes his eyes and when opens them again, he displays his Rinnegan eyes. Naruto and his two clones start to gather chakra for his Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken jutsu as the rest of Naruto's Shadow Clones take on Mizuki while the Green Lanterns and their fellow DC superheroes fight Mizuki's orange light constructs.

 

Guy asks, perplexed, “What kind of stuff is that?”

 

Hal asks, plainly, “Ring?”

 

Hal's Green Lantern ring replies, “Green Lantern Naruto Uzumaki has created solid energy clones with his own internal energy. Blue Lantern ring assistance has allowed energy clone rings to contain full strength of original rings.Green Lantern Naruto Uzumaki is gathering energy known as chakra into his right hand into a sphere like weapon. Conclusion: One of this world's attacks known as `jutsu'.” Soon enough, Naruto had his jutsu prepared for launch and he wraps a green energy aura around it to allow him to do what he did with Hidan of the Akatsuki. By this time, Mizuki had just batted all of Naruto's Shadow Clones away only to look to see Naruto launching his attack right at him.

 

“Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken!”

 

Naruto then uses his Green Lantern ring to launch the jutsu right at Mizuki and he yells out, shocked, “What kind of jutsu is this?!” The `chakra shuriken' is unable and waves at first, but Naruto's boost with his Green Lantern ring keeps it stable. However, Mizuki manages to dodge the attack and he yells out, with a sly smile, “That was a nice try, fox brat!”

 

Naruto says, with a foxy smirk, “You might want to check again, jerk!” Mizuki turns around to see the attack heading towards him with Naruto using his Green Lantern ring to redirect the attack, but Mizuki prepares to face the attack head on!

 

Mizuki holds the orange lantern out and he yells out, strongly, “I won't be defeated by you, again, fox brat!” The jutsu slams into Mizuki's lantern and there is a struggle for a few moments, but with a cry of strength, the orange lantern manages to absorb Naruto's attack through Mizuki strains to do so. Mizuki yells out, when he has absorbed the attack, “I win, Uzumaki!”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “That's what you think, Mizuki!” Mizuki turns around only to see the two Shadow Clones that helped Naruto form his jutsu ram him in the chest and knock him into the ground, hard. Naruto floats down into the ground, but then tons of orange light needles appears and even Naruto increases his protective aura, plenty of the needles get through his shields and Naruto yelps out in pain as the orange light needles rip into his flesh. Just then Mizuki burst from where he hit the ground, rams into Naruto, slamming him into a tree, and while holding him in a `body check', Mizuki uses the only hand that isn't holding his lantern to grab Naruto's neck, choking our blond hero.

 

Mizuki exclaims, sounding like a madman, “I never lose to you, fox brat! I'll crush you and take of all of you strength, brat! I deserve it! I deserve everything!”

 

Just the some familiar voices call out in unison, “Naruto!” Mizuki and Naruto look to see Naruto's friends and allies assembled in front of the two of them.

 

Naruto croaks out, “Stay back, everyone…”

 

Sakura yells out, strongly, “Let him go, Mizuki!”

 

Mizuki exclaims, with an insane smile, “You can't tell me what to do you pink haired banshee! He's mine! I'll take all of his strength! Just like he took everything from me, I will take everything from this brat!” Mizuki tells Naruto, as he chokes him even more, “Give up, Naruto! You can't beat me!”

 

Hinata calls out, worriedly, “Naruto-kun!”

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “I can't give up! Everyone is counting on me to stop this jerk! Their hopes… their dreams… And my dream to become Hokage… to be respected by the village…” Naruto's mind then focuses on the image of his friends and all the people that met, their hopes, and dreams in which causes the blue ring to glow with a powerful blue light.

 

Mizuki asks, perplexed, “What is this?” Just then the blue ring unleashes a powerful burst of energy that forces Mizuki back and Naruto looks at the ring causing him to realize something.

 

Naruto yells out, excitedly tone, “No duh, everyone! I forgot this ring can negate this jerk's orange light!” Naruto yells out to his friends, “Everyone, I need for you to focus on your hopes and dreams! This ring becomes stronger on that! I need for you to trust me on this!”

 

Shikamaru says, with a sigh, “That's troublesome, but all right Naruto.” His friends focus on their hopes and dreams in which Naruto, who is doing the same, does so causing his blue ring to become even stronger as Mizuki gets onto his feet.

 

Mizuki looks at Naruto and asks, perplexed, “What are you doing?”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You are a fool to think that I would give up on my hope and dreams, Mizuki! And when you threaten the hopes and dreams of my friends, you are going to get knocked out of here right in the kisser!” Naruto's eyes flare with the Blue Lantern Corps insignia and he unleashes a wave of blue flames right at Mizuki which slam into him with terrific force causing him to cry out his constructs get vaporized in the blue light through blinding everyone else.

 

Kyle yells out, stunned, “That's strong stuff, Hal!”

 

John says, seriously, “This feels the same when that Blue Lantern used that ring on me!” As Naruto blasts Mizuki with the energy of the Blue Lantern ring, he loses his grip on the Orange Lantern and it is sent sky-rocketing into the sky. When the light dies down by Naruto as focuses on his Blue Lantern ring to `power down', Mizuki stumbles from the ground, still in his Orange Lantern uniform and welding an orange ring.

 

Mizuki says, with an angered tone, “My Lantern! You rotten brat! I lost my Lantern, but I'll find it! And I still have enough energy in my ring to finish you off!”

 

Just then Neji's voice calls out, “I think not, Mizuki!” Before Mizuki could raise any type of shield, his energy weak from Naruto using the Blue Lantern ring, Neji uses his Gentle Fist technique to paralyze Mizuki and turn off his chakra points in which Naruto uses his Green Lantern ring to wrench the Orange Lantern ring off of Mizuki's finger restoring him to his prison uniform.

 

John creates a huge hammer that manages to crush the orange ring, defenseless without an `owner', and he says, plainly, “That's an end to that everyone.”

 

Superman says, with a serious tone, “What about the Orange Lantern?”

 

Hal says, with a groan, “The kid must have used too much energy and the Orange Lantern must be elsewhere within this universe.”

 

John says, with a snort, “That's just great everyone.”

 

Guy says, with a plain tone, “You have got to admit that the kid didn't do too bad.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “He still needs to work on a lot of things, Guy.” The others descend down as Naruto's friends/allies assemble around him.

 

(Within another dimension; on the meanwhile)

 

Inside of an unknown dimension, we find cloaked figures watching Naruto on a crystal ball with great interest.

 

One figure says, with a female voice, “The boy continues to harness the rings of will and hope very well. Do you think that he is the torchbearer of Cosmos? He does have energy of all emotional spectrums within him.”

 

Another figure says, shaking his/her hooded head, “He isn't a torchbearer of Cosmos. However, he has a great energy inside of him. I think he might be a `protector of Cosmos' book'.”

 

Plenty of the figures gasp and another one, with a female voice, asks, amazed, “You mean he is like Sayd and Ganthet once were with the Green Lantern Corps?”

 

This male figure says, with a nod, “Remember, unlike the other Lantern Corps, those who are to become `leaders' within the welders of `Life's Light' are to be born mortal just the Green Lanterns and many of those in the Lantern Corps since `mortals' are the greatest `representations' of Life in all realities. However, Life and the emotional light spectrum chooses those who would those `leaders' of the warriors of `Life's Light'.”

 

The first female figure says, with a serious tone, “We need to keep a close eye on Naruto Uzumaki.” The first female says, with a sly tone, “Naruto Uzumaki, we can sense that you are meant for great things. Don't disappoint us.”

 

(Days later; within the woods of the Fire Country)

 

In another part of the woods, we find Naruto Uzumaki hiding out in the woods with Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner as they find a familiar Uchiha inside of the woods. After the battle with Mizuki, our DC heroes and heroines decide to stay around since the Orange Lantern was lost again. They needed to find it and find a way to contain it as well as keep an eye on our mixed Lantern, Naruto Uzumaki, until they can get permission to transport him to Oa for a formal induction into the Green Lantern Corps.

 

Itachi then says, plainly, “Naruto Uzumaki, I think that it is time that you and those fellows that are with you should come out.”

Guy asks, lowly, “How doe that pretty boy know that we are here?”

 

Naruto whispers back, plainly, “It is kind of Itachi's thing, Guy-san.” Soon after, Guy, Kyle, and Naruto leap down to face Itachi and when he looks at all of them, he gives a curious quirk.

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I can see that you have `unusual new allies', Naruto. I see that you have two strange new rings. It is quite interesting.”

 

Naruto tells Itachi, with a snarl, “These `strange rings' are going to make sure that I send you right into the dirt if you are not careful.”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “That's interesting Naruto. I would like to know if your ring is similar to the new ring of mine.” Itachi then displays his right hand and everyone gasps to see a Sinestro Corps ring on his right hand's ring finger.

 

Guy yells out, shocked, “Crud! He has a Sinestro Corps ring!”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “So, you know it. It said that I inspired great fear and I can weld this ring. Once I got, I can do practically anything. Things that are beyond any Akatsuki member know of or would have, if they didn't know about the rings that you have gotten Naruto Uzumaki. However, I just wish to talk.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I don't believe you and especially with that ring on your finger!” Naruto unleashes a green blast from his Green Lantern ring, but Itachi turns into a folk of crows. Naruto yells out, stunned, “This is not good! We're already trapped in one of Itachi's Genjutsu!”

 

Kyle asks, curiously, “You mean that we are trapped in an illusion?”

 

Just then dozens of crows and birds surround the three of them and Guy yells out, annoyed, “Buzz off, you buzzards!”

 

Itachi then appears and he says, plainly, “You are already trapped in my Genjutsu and as you can see, I don't need my new ring to defeat you, Naruto. I just want to talk. I am very interesting that you want my brother, Sasuke, to return to the village. But I'm curious to know what if Sasuke doesn't return in the way that you want Naruto.”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “What do you mean?”

 

Itachi asks, curiously, “Even if you do it by force, if you are lucky, Sasuke will return to the village. However, what if the opposite happens?” Naruto gives a perplexed look and Itachi asks, plainly, “You consider Sasuke to be like a brother, but what if he turn on the Leaf Village and attack it?”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Why would he do that?”

 

Itachi asks, plainly, “Sasuke is like a blank canvas and he can by dyed any color. If what I said happens, would you be able to fight him to stop him? To kill him if necessary? Could you weigh the Leaf Village and Sasuke on a set of scales?”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “I would defeat the Leaf Village and stop Sasuke, but I won't kill him!”

 

Itachi replies, plainly, “You are such a child, Naruto. Such fantasies are not for our world and ninja like us must be made to have hard choices.”

 

Naruto remembers his talk with Jiraiya long ago and he replies, strongly, “Someone told me something like that and I responded by telling that there is no choice because this is my ninja way.” Itachi then does something unusual to him, he cracks a smile. Just then one of the crows then goes into Naruto's mouth and he collapses into the ground as the Genjutsu vanishes.

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I have given you some of my power. The Sharingan is now yours. I know that you can gain it since you unlocked your bloodlines Naruto.” As Naruto collapses on all fours, Kyle and Guy help him to his feet. Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I believe that you can break the curse of my clans' bloodline.”

 

Naruto asks, weakly, “How do you know that I have my own bloodline?”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I am one of the few that know the real truth about you and your family. You haven't revealed your awakened bloodline and that's good. Reveal your bloodline only when the time is right and use my bloodline better than my clan did Naruto Uzumaki.” Just then several scrolls drop from Itachi's cloak and he says, with a plain tone, “These shall help you guide along further into the future, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. I know there is a war coming that's even beyond what the Akatsuki believe. I hope that you don't have to use the power that I gave you Naruto, but I fear that it might be necessary to stop the war that's coming. If Sasuke becomes a warrior of rage or fear, you will need the strength of willpower, hope, and compassion to stop it. I have given you what you need, Naruto, and the rest is up to you and your `precious people' and allies.”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “What's going on here? What are you really trying to do? I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but your Akatsuki `big shots' wouldn't like if you are helping me.”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “Since my time may soon come to its end, I will tell you. I was never a true part of the Akatsuki and its goals. The reason that I was part of it is because I had my own objectives and now, it is time for my final plan to come to its end. I must attend to an important matter right now. Farewell, Naruto Uzumaki.” `Itachi' then vanishes in a puff of smoke in front our ninja Lantern and two Green Lanterns.

 

Kyle asks, plainly, “Ring?”

 

Kyle's ring replies, “Human was just energy clone similar to Green Lantern Naruto Uzumaki used earlier.” Naruto goes over to the scrolls and he opens them to see writing on them in which he closes them.

 

Guy asks Naruto, “What was that all about?”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “We need to find Kakashi-sensei and the others, Guy-san. There is more to Itachi and he knows something more about you guys that he let on. One of these scrolls is a message for all of you and it mentioned you by name `Green Lanterns of other universe from the world known as Earth'.”

 

Kyle asks, with a serious tone, “What did that scroll say Naruto?”

 

Naruto replies, with a plain tone, “It mentioned about finding someone else from your world here and she belongs to another Lantern Corps: The Star Sapphires.”

 

Guy yells out, stunned, “A Star Sapphire is here? Couldn't that guy have been lying? You said that he was a jerk and a mass murderer!”

 

Kyle says, with a serious tone, “Something tells me that he wasn't lying Guy. Something tells me that he was right.”

 

Guy says, with a serious tone, “This is just great! First, we got these `lost rings' and `Spectrum Wars' to deal with! Second, we find Sinestro causing chaos in other worlds! And now, we have a new rookie with two rings and a Star Sapphire to deal with!” Guy thinks in his mind, with a sigh, “Hopefully, it isn't you know who that's come here or Hal is going to be a worse way. He is already beating himself up for Carol becoming one of the Star Sapphires and if he sees her, again, the fireworks are going to fly and probably not in a good way.”

 

(Elsewhere within the Fire Country; around the same time)

 

However, Guy's fears are very much true since we find Star Sapphire Carol flying towards the Leaf Village and she looks in deep thought in which she remembers about a meeting some days ago.

 

Flashback; Some days ago in the ninja realm

 

We find Star Sapphire getting thank by a grateful couple as a body a slain ninja is nearby as they cover this person up with a cloth. This ninja got possessed by a Red Lantern ring and started to attack the village and young couples were in danger in which Star Sapphire Carol appeared to stop him. She managed to weaken the Red Lantern ring `possessed' ninja to allow other ninja to slay the ninja through it wasn't the thing she was going for.

 

The woman of the couple, showing signs of late pregnancy, says, happily, “Thank you for your help whoever you are.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol says, with a smile, “I am a Star Sapphire, protector of love. I am happy to help a loving young couple expecting a new life.”

 

Just then her ring says, “Warning. Yellow power ring detected.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol asks, seriously, “Where?” Just then her ring displays a map and displays a `blip' on the screen. Star Sapphire Carol tells the couple, “I must go and perform my duties.” Star Sapphire Carol thinks in her mind, seriously, “Could it be HIM?” Star Sapphire Carol then flies off into the distance to find the yellow power ring. A short time afterwards, Star Sapphire Carol lands in a clearing in the forest and finds this is where the signal comes from. Just then she hears rustling in the bushes and she looks to see Itachi Uchiha coming out of the clearing.

 

Itachi asks, plainly, “You are not of this world are you?”

 

Star Sapphire Carol replies, curiously, “If I am not?”

 

Itachi replies, plainly, “I have no quarrel with you, Star Sapphire.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol asks, seriously, “How do you know that's what I am?”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I know many things since I have gotten this.” Itachi then displays a Sinestro Corps ring on his right hand and Star Sapphire Carol leaps and prepares to defend herself. Itachi tells Star Sapphire Carol, “If I wanted to kill you, I would have done so already.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol says, with a serious tone, “I don't believe you!” Star Sapphire Carol launches a beam of violet energy, but when it hits Itachi, he turns into a flock of crows that surround Star Sapphire Carol causing her to gasp in shock.

 

When Itachi reappears, he says, plainly, “Right now, you are trapped in a Genjutsu which is a powerful illusion.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol thinks in her mind, “Illusion?”

 

Itachi says, plainly, “But you do not possess the ability to escape my Genjutsu since it can be very real as I want it to be. If I want to kill you, now, you would be already dead.” Star Sapphire Carol looks into Itachi's Sharingan eyes and she is shocked as she knows that he is right. Itachi tells Star Sapphire Carol, “I am here to deliver a message to you, Star Sapphire. I know who you are and what you want, but the message is: Don't go to him right now.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol asks, surprised, “What?”

 

Itachi says, plainly, “I am not completely sure about the message's meaning, but those that gave me this message to give to you told me that you can't go after the one that you long for right now. For he is on an important mission and he can't be distracted with `pains of the heart' by you.”

 

Star Sapphire Carol says, seriously, “Who are you? And who sent you to me?”

 

Itachi replies, plainly, “My name is Itachi Uchiha, a member of a `criminal organization' known as the Akatsuki. However, they are not the ones that sent me to you, Star Sapphire. I am here on the behalf of people that will aid my personal goals much better. And I have sent you their message. Now, I must leave since I have more important things to deal with. They told me also: You will know when the time to join HIM will be.” Itachi then vanishes along with his Genjutsu.

 

Star Sapphire Carol says, narrowing her eyes, “I will not be kept from Hal by people like you.” However, something in Carol's heart told her to heed Itachi's words and the message that he brought.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, we find Star Sapphire Carol heading in the direction of the Hidden Leaf Village. Ever since her meeting with Itachi, she decided to wait in nearby villages, helping out as a Star Sapphire since the Red Lantern ring kept possessing other people and causing more havoc, and doing `odd jobs' to make sure that she had plenty of money. Her skills proved very helpful in getting jobs that she preferred quite nicely. However, she feels that she needs to be with Hal and she is going to find him in which no one will get in her way.

 

(In another part of the ninja realm; Sometime later)

 

In front of a huge building somewhere in the Fire Country, we find Sasuke Uchiha and his team, Team Snake, rushing to a place known to Uchiha clan and they look to see Kisame and Itachi waiting for them.

 

Itachi says, plainly, “You have arrived Sasuke.”

 

Sasuke says, with a plain tone and deadly glare in his eyes, “You finally show yourself Itachi Uchiha.”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “It is finally time to settle our score, Sasuke.”

 

Kisame says, with a sly grin, “The two of you are going to fight it out, Itachi? This should be interesting.”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “Your services are no longer required Kisame. It is time for you to go back to the others. You will be hunting the Nine-Tails, if Pain didn't get to him, alone.”

 

Kisame asks, perplexed, “What do you mean?” Just then Itachi gets out his yellow power ring and he wraps Kisame in powerful energy binding causing everyone else especially Kisame to be shocked.

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I'm sorry, Kisame.” Itachi then uses the yellow power ring to pummel Kisame into the dirt and leave him on the ground unconscious.

 

Karin, the kunoichi of Team Snake, asks, perplexed, “What kind of jutsu is that?”

 

Sasuke says, with his Sharingan blazing, “I'm not sure Karin! I don't sense any chakra from that ring and this is no Genjutsu!”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “It is indeed no Genjutsu, Sasuke. This ring is not of this world and it doesn't use chakra. It uses fear.”

 

Sasuke asks, curiously, “Fear?”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “The yellow light that you saw is actually the emotion of fear given a light energy form. This ring focuses `fear energy' and allows the welder to use it in any form. It is nothing like of our world and in fact, it comes from another world. If you don't believe me, this shall convince you.” Itachi says, in a plain commanding tone, “Ring, you will explain about the world that you come from and all information about yourself right now.”

 

The yellow ring replies, stoically, “Agreed, Sinestro Itachi Uchiha.” Soon after, the yellow power ring then explains about the DC universe, the Guardians of the Universe, Green Lantern Corps, Sinestro, Parallax, the Sinestro Corps, the `War of Light', and the `Blackest Night'.

 

When it is done, Sasuke says, plainly, “Interesting.”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “I have the ability to instill great fear, Sasuke. The ring choose me because of that. This ring can do anything that I can just imagine as long as I focus. You can gain one of these rings. You just need to be able to greatly harness one of the emotions that the seven rings can use. This is power beyond anything that any ninja can do even the Kage. You might want to know that Naruto Uzumaki has two of these rings. The one that uses willpower and the other that uses hope.”

 

Sasuke's eyes widen and he thinks, annoyed, “That dobe has two powerful rings that can do anything that a user can think of? I shouldn't be surprised that he gained the willpower and hope rings since he is always so cheerful and hopeful!” Sasuke asks, curiously, “All I need to do is have great amounts of the emotions that one of these rings uses?”

 

Itachi replies, plainly, “Indeed, Sasuke. However, you should be careful. The more that you get away from the green light, the more control that the ring holds over the user. The ring of fear isn't too far and thus, I am still myself. However, if a ring of rage was on you or me, the strength of it might make our thinking processes overwhelmed. I have seen what a red ring does to a person and I can assure you that they have no control over themselves.”

 

Sasuke says, with a sly smirk, “That's because they were weak Itachi. I won't be like that.”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “We can settle this right now. I have no intention to use my ring in our fight. Our battle is an affair of warriors of our world and using `weapons' from outside our realm would not be fair.”

 

Sasuke asks, with a snort, “When have you played fair?”

 

Itachi says, with a plain tone, “If you faced me with this otherworldly ring on my finger, I can win without much trouble. This ring doesn't use chakra and can't be affected by our regular weapons and many of our jutsu. However, I want to show my strength over you with the strength that I acquired and not some `otherworldly weapon'. But your team will remain outside Sasuke.”

 

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “That's fine with me.”

Karin asks Sasuke, nervously, “Are you sure that's a good idea Sasuke? Are you sure that we can trust his word?”

 

Sasuke replies, plainly, “We don't trust his word, but this battle is between him and me.” Sasuke and Itachi then head off into the Uchiha compound while Team Snake remains behind.

 

(Elsewhere in the Fire Country; on the meanwhile)

 

In another part of the Fire Country, we find our Leaf Village ninja consisting of Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Yamato, Kakashi, Hinata, Shino, and Kiba with our DC superheroes are reading and translating the scrolls in front of them with Hal's and Kyle's rings translates for our DC superheroes.

 

When they are done, John says, with a plain tone, “Isn't it just peachy folks? We have a Star Sapphire to deal with now.”

 

Kyle says, with a plain tone, “They are not `bad girls' needless to say. They helped us in the `War of Light' and `Blackest Night' after all, John.”

 

Hal says, with a nod, “That's true, Kyle. And they do protect couples in danger. They aren't evil.”

 

John says, with a nod, “That's true, but they are `wild cards' and we have to be careful.”

 

Sakura asks Kakashi, “Kakashi-sensei, what do you think of this? What Naruto told us with Itachi?”

 

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “I'm not sure about any of this Sakura. Itachi has one of the yellow rings and with his Genjutsu abilities, Itachi could have made a good attempt at Naruto. However, he didn't do that and told Naruto all of those things. I think that Itachi has his own agenda outside of the Akatsuki.”

 

Shino asks, curiously, “What do you think that agenda is Kakashi-sensei?”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “I'm not sure about that Shino.”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, seriously, “And why didn't you tell us that you had two Kekkai Genkai of your own?”

 

Naruto says, with a nervous smile, “I just got them recently and I wanted to train them to see what they can do.”

 

Kakashi asks Naruto, “Naruto, what do you think about knowing your dad is the Fourth Hokage?”

 

Naruto says, holding his chest, “I was quite mad knowing that it was my own dad that put that fox inside of me, but I'm sure that he had his reasons including that most likely, he believe in me because I was his son.”

 

Hinata says, amazed, “It is amazing to know that Naruto is the Fourth Hokage's son.”

 

Kiba says, with a smirk, “And you get all the luck with two powerful bloodlines.”

 

Naruto says, with a nervous smile, “I don't really have much control over them as I do my rings.” Just then our ninja sense someone nearby and they look to see someone wearing an Akatsuki cloak and an orange swirling mask with a hole for his right eye in front of them.

 

The masked man says, sounding childish and in a nervous tone, “Whoops! I didn't think that I run into Leaf Village people out here and eight ninja to one!” The masked man says, looking at our DC heroes, “And what strange looking people over there. Nice costumes there.”

 

Yamato says, with a serious tone, “He has Akatsuki robes on everyone!”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “He isn't one on the roster that Kabuto gave us.”

 

The masked man says, with child-like kind tone, “I'm kind of new here! The name is Tobi!”

 

Kiba yells out, annoyed, “Stop with the act, Akatsuki weirdo!”

 

Just then Naruto's Green Lantern ring along with the other Green Lantern say in unison, “Warning! Yellow power ring detected! Warning! Sinestro Corps ring detected!”

 

Tobi says, amazed, “Your ring can talk, too? That's so cool!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Drop that act, jerk! Where is that ring? We know that you have it!”

 

Tobi says, perplexed, “Ring? I wish that I knew what you are talking about Leaf ninja!”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “We can see about that one, buster!” Just then Tobi `feels' someone behind him and he sees Naruto, in his mixed Lantern uniform, behind him while the `other Naruto' vanishes in a puff of smoke.

 

Tobi think in his mind, “Shadow Doppelganger?!” Naruto unleashes a green power beam at Tobi, but the beam phases right through him and Naruto barely manages to redirect it as he gives passes by Tobi.

 

Kiba yells out, stunned, “Naruto's attack went right through this guy!”

 

Hal asks, seriously, “Ring?”

 

Hal's Green Lantern ring replies, “Human used localized teleportation ability on targeted area of physical form to negate attack on him.”

 

Yamato thinks in his mind, “An advanced teleportation jutsu without hand signs? This even exceeds the abilities of Naruto's father, the Fourth Hokage!”

 

Sakura says, stunned, “If this guy can teleport parts of his body without weaving hand signs, it is possible that he can teleport his whole body away too!”

 

Shino says, with a serious tone, “That means that this guy is no pushover and we need to be careful.”

 

Naruto flies back down to meet the other and he thinks, “A jutsu that's better than my dad's best jutsu?! What is with this guy?!”

 

Tobi says, sounding like an excited tone, “Was my technique really that impressive? I'm really glad to hear that I did so good!”

 

Kiba yells out, annoyed, “This guy is really starting to piss me off!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You are not the only one Kiba!”

 

Kakashi tells Naruto, “You and Kiba need to keep your cool. This guy doesn't seem ordinary and I don't mean the way that he is acting everyone.”

 

Guy whispers to the other Green Lantern, “This world gets more and more `out there' guys.”

 

Kyle whispers to Hal, “What do you think Hal?”

 

Hal whispers back, with a serious tone, “I think that I know where that yellow ring is Kyle.” Hal then glares right at Tobi and he thinks, “There is more to this Tobi than meets the eye and we shouldn't underestimate him.”

 

(Later that day; at the Uchiha Compound)

 

At the Uchiha Compound, which has been reduced to a pile of rubble, we find Sasuke Uchiha standing exhausted and out of power with Orochimaru that he absorbed taken by Itachi's Susanoo as his brother, Itachi Uchiha, walks over to him with blood coming out of his mouth and greatly weakened. Sasuke waited for the final blow, but he then feels his forehead being touched and he looks to see Itachi giving the same smile that he did before he massacred the Uchiha clan.

 

Itachi says, with a smile, “Sorry, Sasuke, but this is it.” Itachi then collapses onto the ground on his back and his life-force fades away as he dies. When he has expired, the yellow ring leaves his finger.

 

The yellow ring says, “Sinestro Itachi Uchiha deceased. Looking for sentient replacement.” The ring flies off into the distance and Sasuke gives a smirk as he collapses onto the ground and into unconsciousness while Zetsu, the member of the Akatsuki whose head looks like a Venus fly trap, gives a stunned looked. Zetsu then takes off to find something, but while he is gone, a cloaked figure appears on the field and takes hold of Itachi's body. When he has done so, he uses Itachi's blood to create a perfect duplicate of Itachi's corpse in which the figure vanishes with Itachi's real body.

 

(Back with Naruto and the others; On the meanwhile)

 

Returning to Naruto and the others, they are having a hard time getting the mysterious Tobi because while he seems to be simple-minded, he is easily avoiding the attempts to capture or knock him out even with the power rings that the Green Lanterns and Naruto are wearing.

 

Kiba yells out, annoyed, “What does it take to get of this guy?”

 

Tobi says, waving his head, “Sorry about that everyone! I don't want to get hurt!” Just then Zetsu comes out of the ground near Tobi and Tobi looks at him. Tobi asks, his voice becoming calm, “What happened Zetsu?”

 

Zetsu's dark half replies, plainly, “It's over.”

 

Sakura asks, curiously, “Who is that?”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “He was one of the Akatsuki left on the roster for us, Sakura. His name is Zetsu I believe.”

 

Naruto says, with a snort, “This is just great, everyone!”

 

Zetsu's light half says, plainly, “Sasuke has won the battle. Itachi Uchiha is dead.”

 

Our ninja group gasps in shock and Tobi yells out, in a mocked stunned tone, “Whoa, Zetsu! No way!” Tobi then chuckles and he says, with a calm sly tone, “Just kidding, Zetsu. It was just as I expected for Sasuke to do.”

 

Sakura asks, stunned, “Sasuke killed Itachi?”

 

Superman thinks in his mind, “His voice and attitude have changed. I fear that this person's original persona was nothing, but a façade.”

 

Zetsu's light half asks Tobi, “Sasuke is in a pretty bad shape because the battle was intense. What should I do?”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Spiked aloe guy, where is Sasuke?!”

 

Zetsu's light half asks, stunned, “Aloe?”

 

Zetsu's dark half tells his light half, “Just ignore him.” Just then Kakashi notices that Tobi has a Sharingan in his exposed right eye and then Naruto manages to catch a glimpse of it too.

 

Tobi says, with a deep menacing tone, “Sorry, everyone, I'm going to have to continue this another time.”

 

Kakashi thinks in his mind, surprised, “That's a Sharingan!”

 

Kyuubi tells Naruto, “Kit, that's Madara! I know that Sharingan anyway! It's that rotten Madara!”

 

Tobi prepares to leave and Naruto yells out, flying closer to him, “Hold it, buddy! Tell me who you really are!”

 

Everyone looks at Naruto and Tobi replies, child-like tone, “I don't know what you mean, Leaf ninja.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Drop the act! I know that you are acting to throw us off! It isn't going to work on me… Madara Uchiha!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Tobi then gives a dark menacing chuckle in which he says, with a dark sinister sly tone, “I guess that Chizuru told you. I knew that she would see my Sharingan through your eyes, Namikaze.”

 

Zetsu asks Tobi AKA Madara, “Are you sure that it is a good idea?”

 

Madara replies, with a calm sly tone, “The cat is out of the bag, Zetsu.”

 

Kakashi yells out, amazed, “It is true, Madara! You are alive and you must be the true leader of the Akatsuki, aren't you?!”

 

Madara says, with a sly tone, “I could be or I could be allowing someone else to run the show while I guide it from the sidelines.”

 

Zetsu tells Madara, “I think that we should pick up Sasuke.”

 

Madara says, with a sly tone, “Good idea, Zetsu.”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “I don't think so, Madara! It is time that you paid for your crimes!” Naruto prepares to lash out, but then Madara unleashes a yellow beam of energy from his left hand that slams Naruto into a tree.

 

Hinata yells out, stunned, “Naruto!” Everyone then looks to see a Sinestro Corps ring on Madara's left hand.

 

Kyle says, seriously, “Our rings were right! He has the yellow power ring!”

 

Madara says, with sinister sly tone, “I do have that ring that your rings mentioned. It is quite ironic since fear was one of the `lights' that gave birth to the Sharingan.”

 

Yamato says, seriously, “It is true! The energy of the `emotional light spectrum' of our world gave birth to the Sharingan!”

 

Madara says, with a nod, “That's correct, everyone. It was fear's light that gave us the ability to use powerful Genjutsu to push our enemies into submission. It was greed's light that gave the Sharingan the ability to take other jutsu other than those from other bloodlines and it was rage's light that gave us the ability to control the Nine-Tailed Fox through it also cursed us to what we are now. It also put a curse on the Mangekyo Sharingan and the only way that curse can be satisfied by blood of my clan's blood.”

 

Kakashi asks, perplexed, “What do you mean by that?”

 

Madara replies, with a plain tone, “You are going to have to figure that one for yourself, Kakashi.” Madara then sees Naruto using a burst of energy to break free from the restrain that Madara put him in and Madara tells Naruto, “I can see your father's eyes in you, Naruto.”

 

Naruto tells Madara, with a smile, “And I'm going to complete the work that my father started and finish you off Madara. By the way, Itachi sends his regards.” Naruto then closes his eyes and reopens them to expose Sharingan eyes.

Zetsu asks, perplexed, “He has Sharingan eyes now?”

 

Madara says, with a calm sly tone, “Itachi put those in as a defense measure, did he? He always did have many backup plans and he must have known that you gained your two bloodlines. If he expected you to keep Sasuke from me, he was wrong. Sasuke belong to me, now, Naruto and you have to make a choice: The village or him.” Madara then teleports away and Zetsu follows him.

Kakashi yells out, strongly, “We need to find Sasuke before Madara does, everyone!” Naruto then flies up into the sky and looks to see black clouds in the distance.

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “There are black clouds in the mountains!”

 

Kakashi tells Hinata, “Hinata, use your Byakugan around four o'clock!”

 

Hinata says, with a nod, “Right, Kakashi-sensei!” Hinata uses her Byakugan in that area and she finds black flames coming from the former Uchiha compound. Hinata says, with a serious tone, “There is a powerful chakra ten kilometers ahead of us and it looks like black flames are surrounding the area.”

 

Kakashi yells out, seriously, “That's the Amaterasu, everyone! It is a Mangekyo Sharingan jutsu!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “There is a no need to tell me anymore, Kakashi-sensei! Follow me as quickly as you can!” Naruto then flies off into the distance before anyone can wave him off.

 

Sakura says, seriously, “Naruto, you can't run off or I should say, fly off like this!”

 

Guy says, with a sigh, “This kid is going to be a handful!”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “You said it, Guy!” The four Green Lanterns and our other DC superheroes fly off after Naruto while the ninja groups move as quickly as they can to catch up with Naruto.

 

(A few seconds afterwards; At the Uchiha compound)

 

We find Madara and Zetsu staring at the unconscious Sasuke Uchiha and the body of Itachi Uchiha, which they didn't know was replaced by a duplicate.

 

Zetsu tells Madara, “We should hurry. Namikaze will be here in no time.”

 

Madara says, with a plain tone, “Naruto's father knew about me and his son knows as well. Personally, I don't think that Minato knew that I know he has a son, but then it is too obvious with Naruto's hair and eyes. He is a perfect `doppelganger' for his father.”

 

Zetsu asks Madara, “Do you think?”

 

Madara says, with a nod, “I do, Zetsu. He is the new `Senju' that I fought in the past. My greatest battle will be with him and not just because he has the Nine-Tails with him.” Madara looks at his yellow power ring and he says, “Those that wear this ring are enemies of those that wear the green and blue rings. But it goes beyond that, Zetsu. Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze has inherited the `will of fire' from the very first Hokage of the Leaf Village. However, I think that the true `final battle' will be between Naruto and my descendant.” Madara looks at Sasuke and he says, with a plain tone, “Sasuke and Naruto were like me and Senju and me in the past. The battle will go on until one of us is gone. Personally, my fate might be decided by these two, but I have confidence once Sasuke has the `right tools' that he needs.” Soon after, Madara says, plainly, “We are taking Itachi's corpses as well, Zetsu.” Madara and Zetsu then move to duplicate of Itachi's body and Sasuke's unconscious form to take them away.

 

(A short time afterwards; At the entrance to the Uchiha Compound)

 

We find Naruto, the Green Lanterns and other DC heroes, and our ninja crew reaching the edge of the burning forest by the black flames in which Naruto can't see anything.

 

Guy asks, perplexed, “What kind of freaky flames are these?” Yamato then prepares some classic ninja hand signs as he prepares to perform a jutsu.

 

“Earth Style: Planet Splitter!”

 

Yamato slams his palms into the ground and creates a huge split in the ground allowing a passage through the flames to be create in which Kakashi uses his Mangekyo Sharingan and Kamui jutsu to teleport the black flames away. Afterwards, our heroes and heroines go into the where the Uchiha compound way, but all they find is rocks and rubber.

 

Kiba and Akamaru smell around and Kiba says, with a sigh, “They were here, but they are gone and their trail has gotten cold everyone.”

 

Kakashi says, with a sigh, “The teleportation jutsu that Madara used before.”

 

Sai says, looking at Naruto, “Naruto…”

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, while looking at the ground, “Darn it! He took Sasuke away!”

 

(The following day; Somewhere in the Fire Country)

 

This morning, we find Sasuke Uchiha, looking out into the distance as Madara, still with his mask on, and Team Snake watch him standing at the edge of a cliff and looking out into the distance. After he recovered, Madara had told him about the truth about Itachi, the Uchiha clan, the massacre by his brother's hands, and Itachi doing it as well as joining the Akatsuki under the orders of the village leaders especially Danzo and the village elders. Sasuke didn't believe Madara at first, but after going through his memories, he realizes that Madara was indeed telling the truth up to a point. For the first time in his life, Sasuke cried silently and when he was done, he takes a deep breath and prepares to address his team as he closes his eyes.

 

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “We have shed the skin of the snake, everyone. We are no longer the Snake. Now, we are the Hawk, the Taka team. The Hawk shall only exist for one purpose and one purpose alone. We exist to destroy the Leaf Village!” Sasuke's eyes burst open to reveal star-like Mangekyo Sharingan in his eyes now. Sasuke looks at Madara and he asks, with a serious glare in his Mangekyo Sharingan eyes, “Madara, you said that those yellow rings use fear as a source of power and only those that cause great fear in other can weld those rings.”

 

Madara says, displaying his yellow ring, “That's correct, Sasuke.”

 

Sasuke says, with a deadly serious tone and deadly glare from his Mangekyo Sharingan eye, “That sounds appropriate for me and I shall prove myself worthy of that ring. In order to get revenge for what the Leaf Village did to my brother and my clan, I shall become fear itself if necessary. The name Uchiha was once feared by all and it shall be feared again. They shall know what true fear is.” Sasuke's eyes narrow and even his own team becomes afraid of him in which a yellow energy `bolt' comes out Madara's cloak and comes to Sasuke's side.

 

The yellow ring says, stoically, “Sasuke Uchiha, you have the ability to install great fear.”

 

Karin asks Madara, “You had that the whole time?”

 

Madara says, with a sly tone, “I `found' it. It was the third yellow ring to appear here in this world and I kept it, but Sasuke needed to show that he can give great fear to others before ring would recognize him.”

 

Sasuke tells the ring, “I do have the ability to give fear and I will give to my enemies.”

 

The yellow ring puts itself on Sasuke's right ring finger and he says, “Welcome to the Sinestro Corps.” Just then Sasuke yelp as the ring's energy surges through him and his team is concerned about him. But when the ring is done, Sasuke gives an uncharacteristic wide smirk and a yellow gleam comes from his eyes.

 

Sasuke says, with a sly tone, “This is the power of this ring? I can feel the fear energy trying to take me over, but I know that I can control it.”

 

Madara tells Sasuke, with a plain tone, “Remember, Sasuke, Naruto Uzumaki has the green and blue rings in which they are similar to your new ring.”

 

Sasuke says, with a smirk, “I don't really care, Madara. If the dobe tries to stop me, he shall know true fear.” Sasuke's body gives off yellow sparks of energy, he says, seriously, “Let's stop beating around the bush, Madara. We need to talk right now.” Madara, the newly renamed Team Hawk, and Sasuke got to their feet and prepared to head inside of the Akatsuki headquarters to discuss their business.

 

Madara thinks in his mind, “Too bad, Itachi. Your plans didn't work out after all. Sasuke is mine, Itachi.”

 

(In another part of the ninja country; On the meanwhile)

 

In a beautiful part of the ninja world, we find ourselves in a place with stone buildings, a strange waterfall, huge plants, and tons of frogs all around. However, we head into a mysterious cave inside of this area where we find a mysterious, yet, familiar deep green light coming within. When he get a closer look, we find green is coming from an energy made of green light in the shape of a whale/shake combo with four wings, two on each side of its body, coming out of it and the Ion insignia on its back.

 

(In another dimension; Around the same time)

 

Inside of the same mysterious dimension, we find the mysterious cloaked figure assembled around a crystal ball looking at the Ion symbiotic entity within the ninja realm.

 

One of the cloaked figures says, with a plain tone and male voice, “Ion is safe there until it can be found.”

 

Another cloaked figure asks, with a female voice and curiously, “Was Madara fooled by our clone?”

 

The first cloaked figure says, with a sly tone, “He couldn't tell the difference.”

 

The second cloaked figure asks, “What about the real Itachi?”

 

The first cloaked figure replies, plainly, “He is in status. He was physically dead for awhile, but his spirit didn't cross over to the `other side' yet. It was within our legal abilities to revive him.”

 

A third cloaked figure says, with a male voice and plain tone, “That's good to know, everyone. We don't want to be compared to those Black Lanterns and Scar. They are disgraces to Life and they have been sealed away with death's energy returned to where it belongs.”

 

The fourth cloaked figure says, with a female voice and plain tone, “Speaking of Life, did we find the `torchbearers' of Cosmos?”

 

The first cloaked figure replies, seriously, “You can't expect us to find them over tons of mortals! This process takes time and there are many incredible mortals like Hal Jordan.”

 

The second cloaked figure asks, with a plain tone, “Is the Predator still with the Star Sapphires?”

 

The third cloaked figure says, with a plain tone, “Can't say for certain. However, Ion's arrival in that realm has allowed us to find the Hope entity. I have already sent the information to Ion immediately.”

 

The first cloaked figure says, with a serious tone, “All that's left are the entities of Greed, Rage, and Compassion! I'm not sure that the Indigo tribe knows where their entity is.”

 

The fourth cloaked figure says, with a plain tone, “What we do know is the entities of Greed and Rage are parasites like Parallax and the entities of Hope and Compassion are symbiotic entities like Ion. Ion gets along well with the Compassion and Hope entities is well-known and I believe Ganthet knew that since he and Sayd wanted to make a Green, Blue, and Indigo Lantern alliance during `Blackest Night'.”

 

The first cloaked figure says, with a serious tone, “Like it or not, everyone, Ion, the Hope entity, the Compassion entity, and the Predator must be allied together if the `Spectrum War' is going to come to a favorable conclusion and it might aid everyone to find our Life entities AKA Cosmos `torchbearers'. The Lanterns of Life are going to need the `Council of Four' if they are going to aid those of the positive end of the `Emotional Spectrum' to victory against those that bare the darkness of the `Emotional Spectrum'. The Lantern Corps bare the light of emotions, but they will need to face those that bare the darkness of emotions.”

 

(Within, yet, another dimension; Around the same time)

 

In the pitch black darkness of this reality, we find figures with the strange grey power rings that give off darkness instead of light looking into a crystal ball and seeing the Orange Lantern in it.

 

One figure says, with a dark male voice, “The boy, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, has proven that he can use willpower and hope quite well.”

 

Another figure asks, with a dark curious female voice, “Do you think that he is a member of the `Council of Four'?”

 

The first figure shakes his head and replies, with a dark plain tone, “I don't think so. However, he might be a `Life Guardian'. Remember, unlike the other Corps, including the Black Lanterns, the `Guardians' of this Corps must be mortal and they must be mortals of incredible ability. This one has proven as such and the `Council of Four' are four mortals that are living representations of Cosmos and of Life itself. Naruto Namikaze may not be a `Council of Four' member, but he is a threat if he is a guardian. He need to make sure that he is out of the picture and the Orange Lantern shall help us. We shall need someone that craves power in his village and I know exactly who.” Just then the crystal ball image switches over to an image of Danzo himself and the dark figure gives sinister giggles at this.

 

The dark female figure says, with a dark smile, “The light of the emotional spectrum shall be suppressed and the darkness shall finally rule all!” These figure's strange rings give off auras of darkness energy instead of light for normal Lantern rings and a sinister cloak is starting to form…

I've come to the third chapter and I've introduced Ion into the picture, everyone! Plus, I was thinking: If there are entities for three of the emotions of the `Emotional Spectrum', why not have entities for all of them? I'm not sure if DC is planning to create entities for these emotions, but these entities will be part of my story alone. And I've made plenty of foreshadowing into the future.
