Naruto says, with a grin, “That’s right, Shikamaru! Actually, this is Sherry, a friend of Ryu’s and Ayane’s parents!”

Ino says, amazed, “Oh, wow! She is beautiful.”

Sherry says, with a smile, “Thank you, young one.”

Shizune asks, curiously, “What’s with the strange accent in her voice?”

Ayane says, with a smile, “That’s French, one of the languages in the world. From what we know, all of the people in the Elemental Countries speak Japanese, our native language.”

Tsunade says, with a curious tone, “But of course, Ayane. You mean there are more languages out there.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “A lot more, Tsunade… I mean Hokage-sama. Actually, one language, Chinese, actually has over five hundred dialects, which are different versions of the same language.”

Choji says, amazed, “Wow!”

Shikamaru says, with a sigh, “Troublesome. If we are expecting more visitors from the outside world, then we may not understand them and cause a few problems.”

Ayane tells Shikamaru, with a smile, “I don’t think that will happen for now, Shikamaru. And Sherry-san can speak very good Japanese, it is just that she has a French accent to her voice.”

Kiba says, with a stunned, “Geez! You said that the outside world beyond the Elemental Countries was huge, but I didn’t know that everyone didn’t speak like we do.”

Shino says, with a plain tone, “It shows how little we know of the outside world.” Shino asks, curiously, “I’m curious through: Do people like Sherry-san look like her?”

Izzy says, with a smile, “Actually, Naruto and Ino would look blend in with people like Sherry. Sherry is known as a Caucasian and they originated from an area of the world known as Europe, a continent where France is one of many countries of. Caucasian mainly have blond hair and they are also known as their blue eyes through it isn’t always the case.”

Ino says, amazed, “Wow! So, we would blend right in, huh? That’s incredible!”

Shino says, with a plain tone, “Interesting, Izzy. Through I doubt that Kiba and his clan members would blend right in because I don’t think people of the outside world have elongated fangs and have the ability to speak to animals.”

Kurenai asks Tsunade, “Hokage-sama, what are you doing here?”

Tsunade says, with a smile, “My work load is already done for the day and I’m already prepared for anything else.”

Shizune says, with a grin, “Since Naruto showed my lady how to handle the paperwork, she has been getting them done quite quick.”

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “That’s no problem! I’m surprised that my dad was the only one to pick it up!”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, “No joke, gaki.”

Soon after, Sarutobi walks onto the scene and he asks, kindly, “It is a question that haunts me to this day my boy!”

Asuma asks his dad, “Hey, dad, what are you doing here?”

Sarutobi retorts, with a grin, “Can’t a retired Hokage enjoy his golden years during the times of peace in the village?” There are plenty of smiles and laughs at this and Sarutobi tells Hinata and Sherry, “Don’t allow me to interrupt you.”

Sherry asks Hinata, “Are you ready, Hinata?”

Hinata says, with a nod, “I am, Sherry-san.” The two of them activate their duel disks, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points each, and after their decks are shuffled by their duel disks, they draw five cards from their decks.

“Duel!” Hinata and Sherry yell out in unison as their duel begins.

Sherry draws a card and she says, “I shall take the first turn, little one!” Sherry says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I play Horse of the Floral Knights in attack mode!” Immediately, Horse of the Floral Knight (400/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Sherry says, drawing a card, “When this monster is summoned to the field, I get one more card from my deck.” Sherry says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I play Polymerization!” Sherry discards her Sacred Knight’s Spearholder (800/400) monster card and she says, “I fuse ze lovely Sacred Knight’s Spearholder with my Horse of the Floral Knight to play Centaur Mina in attack mode!” Sacred Knight’s Spearholder appears on the field and goes into a fusion vortex with the other monster on the field while Sherry takes out a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck. When she puts the card on her duel disk, Centaur Mina (2200/1600) appears on the field in attack mode.

Mimi says, amazed, “She is pretty good.”

Cody says, with a plain tone, “Something tells me that she is powerful duelist.”

Sherry says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two face-down cards.”

Hinata says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn.” Hinata says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Ancient Rules spell card! With this card, I can play one level five or above Normal monster from my hand and I choose my Hyozanryu!” After Hinata puts a monster card on her duel disk, Hyozanryu (2100/2800) appears on the field in attack mode. Hinata says, putting another card on her duel disk, “Then I release my Hyozanryu to play Strong Wind Dragon in attack mode!” Hyozanryu vanishes as Strong Wind Dragon (2400/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and Hinata says, “Since I used a dragon monster for Strong Wind Dragon’s summoning, he gains half of that dragon monster’s attack points!” An image of Hyozanryu appears and goes into Strong Wind Dragon causing it to go from 2400/1000 to 3450/1000!

Naruto says, excitedly, “Nice work, Hinata-chan!”

Sherry says, with a smile, “I’m impressed, young Signer.”

Hinata says, “Strong Wind Dragon, attack her Centaur Mina now!” Strong Wind Dragon unleashes a blast of energy from its mouth at Centaur Mina.

Sherry says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “Sorry, but I play my Floral Shield trap card!” Just then Sherry’s face-down is revealed to be the Floral Shield trap card and Sherry says, with a smile, “This card allows me to negate your attack, my dear. But I also get one new card from my deck.” Soon after, petals form a large shield in front of Centaur Mina negates Strong Wind Dragon’s attack and she draws one more card from her deck.

Hinata says, putting three cards into the spell/trap slots, “I play these cards face-down and end my turn.”

Sherry says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Sherry says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I play the Tuner monster, Fleur Synchron, in attack mode!” Soon after, Fleur Synchron (400/200) appears on the field in attack mode.

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “This is not good. Dad told me about this combo before.”

Ayane says, with a nod, “She is about to play her ace monster.”

There are looks of shock from what Ayane said and Sherry yells out, “I tune my Fleur Synchron with my Centaur Mina to bring about ze revolutions monster: Chevalier de Fleur in attack mode!” Fleur Synchron turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Centaur Mina making it become transparent. When a column of light appears on the field, Sherry takes a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck and puts it on her duel disk causing Chevalier de Fleur (2700/2300) to appear on the field in attack mode from the column of light.

Ino says, awe-struck, “Amazing.”

Kiba says, with a smirk, “Not bad, but that monster is nowhere near as strong as Hinata’s!”

Shino tells Kiba, “That can change in an instant, Kiba.”

Sherry says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Since Fleur Synchron, I can summon another soldier in the ze war for freedom and justice: Apprentice Knight!” Soon after, Apprentice Knight (1000/1000) comes to the field in attack mode. Then Sherry says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I play my High Half trap card!” Sherry’s other face-down card is the High Half trap card and she says, with a smile, “This trap card can cut in half the attack points of any monster with two thousand attack points or more and I choose your dragon!”

There are plenty of gasps and Davis says, with a plain tone, “That’s not good for Naruto’s girlfriend.” Strong Wind Dragon’s stats go down from 3450/1000 to 1725/1000 in an instant.

Sherry says, with a serious tone, “Chevalier de Fleur, attack her Dragon!”

When Chevalier de Fleur draws its sword, Hinata says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I play my Mirror Wall trap card!” Hinata’s face-down card is revealed to be the Mirror Wall continuous trap card and Hinata says, with a plain tone, “This trap card cuts your attacking monster’s attack points in half.”

Sherry says, with a smile, “I think not, my dear. Chevalier de Fleur can negate and destroy a spell or trap card that you activate once per turn!” Soon after, Chevalier cuts Hinata’s Mirror Wall in half destroying it causing her to gasp in shock.

Kari says, amazed, “That’s incredible!” Soon after, Chevalier cuts through Strong Wind Dragon and destroys it causing Hinata to yelp as she loses 975 life-points.

Sherry calls out, “And now, my knight, attack her directly!” Apprentice Knight then charges in to attack Hinata directly.

Hinata says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I play my Defense Draw trap card!” Hinata’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card and Hinata says, “This negates the damage that you give me this turn and I draw one card.” A shield protects Hinata’s from Apprentice Knight’s attack and she draws one card from her deck.

Sherry tells Hinata, with a smile, “Not bad. Chevalier can only use her ability once per turn. I shall end my turn there.”

Hinata thinks in her mind, as she draws one card, “Sherry-san is a very strong duelist. I need to give it my all if I want to win against her.” Hinata puts one card on her duel disk and she says, “I play Kaibaman in attack mode!” Soon after, Kaibaman (200/700) appears on the field in attack mode.

Sherry asks, perplexed, “Kaibaman?”

Hinata says, putting one card on her duel disk, “And now, I use his ability and release him to play my Blue-Eyes White Dragon in attack mode!” Kaibaman vanishes from the field and Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Jaden says, amazed, “Whoa! That’s Seto Kaiba’s legendary monster!”

Alexis asks, perplexed, “How did Hinata-san get that card?”

Sherry says, shocked, “Mon Dieu! This is such a surprise, my dear.”

Hinata yells out, “Blue-Eyes, attack her Chevalier with White Lightning!” Blue-Eyes White Dragon unleashes a blast of lightning energy in which it slams into Chevalier, destroying her, and costing Sherry 300 life-points. Hinata says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play Card of Sanctity and force both of us to draw from our decks until we have six cards!” Hinata and Sherry draw from their decks until they have six cards and Hinata says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I’ll end my turn with two cards face-down.”

Sherry draws one card and she says, with a smile, “Good work, mon cher. But now, it is my turn.” Sherry says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play ze Monster Reborn and revive my Chevalier De Fleur!” Just then Chevalier De Fleur (2700/2300) reappears on the field in attack mode and Sherry says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And I play my Gift of Martyr and I release my knight to empower my Chevalier!” Apprentice Knight vanishes from the field into a shower of sparks which goes into Chevalier causing her to go from 2700/2300 to 3700/2300! Sherry says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I play my Sacred Knight Joan in attack mode!” Soon after, Sacred Knight Joan (1900/1300) appears on the field in attack mode.

Alexis says, with a plain tone, “She is no slouch.”

Sherry says, with a smile, “Chevalier, slay her new dragon!” Chevalier charges in and slices Blue-Eyes White Dragon, destroying the dragon and costing Hinata 700 life-points.

Hinata says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my trap: Dimensional Balance!” Hinata’s face-down card is revealed to be the Dimensional Balance trap card, but Chevalier then slices it in half.

Sherry says, with a grin, “Sorry, mon char, but now my Joan shall attack, but when she is attacking, her attack point drop by three hundred.” Joan’s stats go down from 1900/1300 to 1600/1300 and she charges in to attack Hinata directly.

Hinata says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Dimension Wall!” Hinata’s next face-down is revealed to be the Dimension Wall trap card and Hinata says, with a plain tone, “This trap card takes all battle damage to me and inflicts it on you instead, Sherry-san.”

“Ce que le?” Sherry asks stunned as a hole appears in which Joan goes and another holes appears in front of Sherry in which she yelps as she takes the blow causing her to lose 1600 life-points. Sherry says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “Very well then, I shall end my turn with a couple of face-down.” Soon afterwards, Chevalier goes from 3700/2300 back to 2700/2300 with end of the effect of Sherry’s spell card.

Hinata says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn, Sherry-san.” Hinata says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Hammer Shot spell card and destroy the strongest monster on the field.”

Sherry says, with a grin, “I think not since my Chevalier negates and destroys your trap, mon cher.” Chevalier then slices the said spell card in half and negates its effect.

Hinata says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Take Over Five spell card! Now, I discard five cards from my deck and as long as this card remains in my graveyard, I get one card during my Standby Phase, Sherry-san.” Hinata draws the top five cards, discards two Blue-Eyes White Dragon monster cards (3000/2500 X 2), a Monster Reborn spell card, one Fairy Wind trap card, and one Sunny Pixie (300/400) Tuner monster card. Hinata says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Dragon’s Mirror spell card! By removing the right Fusion Material monsters in my graveyard, I can summon a dragon-type Fusion monster. So, I remove all three Blue-Eyes White Dragons in my graveyard to play my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in attack mode.” All three Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500 X 3) monster cards are removed from Hinata’s graveyard, she puts them in her coat, and she then puts a Fusion Monster card from her Extra deck on her duel disk causing Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4500/3800) to appear on the field in attack mode.

Jaden calls out, amazed, “Wow! That’s sweet!”

Izzy says, awe-struck, “Prodigious! Another legendary monster from Duel Monsters history!”

Hinata says, “Ultimate Dragon, destroy her Joan with Neutron Blast!”

When Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon unleashes its attack on Joan, Sherry says, with a grin, “I think not mon char. I activate my Shift trap card!” Sherry’s face-down card is revealed to be the Shift trap card and Sherry says, “Now, I shift your attack to my Chevalier. I hate to do this to my loyal knight, but her demise shall not be in vain.” When Ultimate Dragon’s attack slams into Chevalier, she is vaporized and Sherry loses 1800 life-points. Sherry then says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “And now, I play Liberty at Last trap card!” Sherry’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Liberty at Last trap card and Sherry says, with a smile, “And now, since I lost a monster, two monsters on ze field are now gone and returned to the hand!” Soon after, Ultimate Dragon and Joan vanish from the field in which Joan returns to Sherry’s hands and Ultimate Dragon into Hinata’s Extra Deck.

Ayane says, worriedly, “Hinata is helpless now.”

Hinata says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I play Spirit of the Breeze in defense mode!” Just then Spirit of the Breeze (0/1800) appears on the field in defense mode and Hinata says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And I end my turn with one card face-down.”

Sherry: 300

Sherry says, drawing a card, “It’s my move, mon cher.” Sherry says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I play my Necro Fleur in attack mode!” Just then Necro Fleur (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Sherry says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play a card that Akiza is famous for: Fragrance Storm! This card allows me to destroy one Plant type monster on ze field and draw one card in which I can draw another if it is a plant type monster.” Necro Fleur vanishes from the field, but a card comes out of Sherry’s deck in which she says, putting the card on her duel disk, “Also, since my Fleur was destroyed by a card effect, I get to summon one Sorciere de Fleur in attack mode!” Immediately, Sorciere de Fleur (2900/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Sherry then displays another Necro Fleur (0/0) and she says, with a smile, “Since I drew a plant monster, I get one more card fro my deck!” Sherry draws one more card from her deck and she says, with a smile, “And now, I play my Sorciere de Fleur’s Tres bien ability. I can revive one monster from your grave, but it can’t attack directly and it is destroyed at the end of the turn! I choose your Strong Wind Dragon!” Soon after, Strong Wind Dragon (2400/1600) appears on Sherry’s field in attack mode.

Naruto says, worriedly, “Hinata-chan!”

Ryu says, plainly, “That’s enough power to destroy her life-points and end this duel.”

Sherry tells Hinata, with a smile, “I believe that this duel is how you say over, mon cher. Strong Wind Dragon, take down her last defense!” Strong Wind Dragon then unleashes its power on Spirit of the Breeze.

Hinata says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Chaos Burst trap card!” Hinata’s face-down card is revealed to be the Chaos Burst trap card, she says, “This card allows me to release one monster and destroying your attack monster, but you also lose one thousand life-points as well, Sherry-san.”

Sherry says, “But that means…!” Soon after, a strong explosion destroys Strong Wind Dragon and Spirit of the Breeze, but Sherry loses 1000 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

Final Score:
Hinata: 2125
Sherry: 0

With the end of the duel, the final holograms fade away and Jaden yells out, excitedly, “Oh, wow! Now that’s was a sweet duel!”

Alexis says, with a nod, “She is good.”

Ayane says, with a smile, “She did go toe to toe with my dad, Alexis-sempai.”

Alexis asks, curiously, “Sempai?”

Ayane tells Alexis, with a smile, “You are the more experienced and ‘elder’ duelist compared to me, right?”

Alexis says, with a grin, “How you call me ‘sensei’? I am going to be a teacher after all.”

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Just like you dream, Lex-chan.”

Naruto tells Hinata, excitedly, “I knew that you could do it, Hinata-chan! Way to go!”

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “Thank you, Naruto-kun.” Hinata tells Sherry, with a bow, “And thank you for such a good duel, Sherry-san.”

Sherry says, with a nod, “You are quite talented, mon cher. You are indeed worthy of the Mark of the Dragon passed down to you.”

Davis tells Naruto, “By the way, Naruto, don’t you think that you should be training for your match with that asshole?”

Naruto says, with a foxy grin, “Don’t worry, Davis-san! I’ll be ready for Sasuke-teme!”

Hinata tells Naruto, concerned, “Are you sure, Naruto-kun?”

Serena tells Ayane, “And you are taking a bit risk about putting in that marriage thing?”

Ayane tells Serena, “Naruto supported me because he didn’t think that I was weak, but because I was a fellow Signer and his jerky teammate was forcing himself on me.”

Tai says, with a snort, “What is that assholes problem? I get that his older brother destroyed his parents and ‘extended family’, but it doesn’t mean that he can be a jerk.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Blame those assholes treated that little brat like Kami-sama.”

Yolei says, with a plain tone, “Being spoiled rotten can do that for you.”

Ayane tells Naruto, “I hope that I’m not putting pressure on you to win, Naruto.”

Naruto tells Ayane, with a foxy smile, “Don’t worry, Ayane, it just give me more reason to beat the crap out of that teme once and for all!”

Ryu tells everyone, “Since we have no idea what kind of deck that Sasuke uses, we are going to need develop tactics for any type of deck that Sasuke might use.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “I might have an idea on what Sasuke-teme will try.”

Haku asks, curiously, “You do?”

Ninja Ayane says, plainly, “Uchiha wants power and his deck will reflect that.”

Sarutobi tells Naruto, “It won’t be easy, Naruto. Sasuke has access to every card that the Uchiha clan had before Itachi destroyed the clan other than himself and Sasuke. And the Uchiha made every Uchiha child duel because of what kind of game it is. They believe that it is the first step to making them powerful ninja since Duel Monsters is a game of tactics and such and they were expected to be the best at all.”

Matt says, with a snort, “That’s a surprise.”

Ayane asks, curiously, “So, Sasuke is no ‘hay seed’, huh?”

Ryu says, plainly, “However, he might be rusty since most likely, he had become obsessed with killing his older brother since the loss of his clan and family.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “However, it is best that you don’t underestimate Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto.”

Naruto tells Ninja Ryu, “Don’t worry, Hayabusa-sensei, I won’t! Believe it!” Ayane can’t help to giggle and give a warm smile at Naruto’s attitude. When she looks at Naruto, she feels that warm feeling in her heart.

Ayane puts her right hand close to her heart and she thinks, “What’s this feeling?”

Sarutobi asks Serena, “By the way, Serena-san, I heard that you recently got a powerful Duel Monster card in your possession?”

Serena says, with a nod, “I do. And I also have a new power.” Serena then shows her Rune Eye in her left eye and there is plenty of the group that is amazed.

Sarutobi says, with a nod, “The Rune Eye. I do have a bit of information on it. It is said that those chosen by the deities that shares the heavens with the Crimson Dragon in which allow them a ‘sight beyond sight’, an ability to see reality hidden within illusion and more. However, it is only held by those that weld those chosen of the Aesir, which are entities that have power that rival the Crimson Dragon itself.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “There are plenty of people that want that kind of power for themselves.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone and a nod, “It is a good thing that you are complete control of the village with the ninja council.” Sarutobi says, with a grin, “For once, Danzo did something to help us. Ensure that his, my former teammates’, and the asshole civilian council’s power are gone for good in which we can set the village in the right direction.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Doesn’t mean that he won’t be a threat anymore, Old Man. Remember what Ryu and Ayane said. When Naruto defeats his mom and her Earthbound Immortal, Danzo and those that were absorbed by it will be revived.”

Sarutobi says, with a smile, “Then it is a good thing that we are preparing for his ‘return’, Tsunade.”

Tsunade says, with a smirk, “I agree, Old Man.” Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “However, I’m concerned that snake hasn’t made himself known for awhile.”

Sarutobi tells Tsunade, with a stern expression, “He will soon enough, Tsunade. How is the work on Anko going?”

Tsunade tells Sarutobi, “We need to wait a day or more, but it looks like Serena-san’s powers completely wiped it out.”

Sarutobi tells Tsunade, “Good, but with this challenge, we need to wait afterwards before we can use it on Sasuke. We don’t want my former teammates and the former civilian council using it as an excuse to cause trouble since they will make that we did something to let Naruto win the duel. I’m very confident that you can make them shut up, but I believe that they will cause more headaches that we want before we put them down.”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “I know that Sarutobi-sensei, but I don’t like it.”

Sarutobi tells Tsunade, “I know, Tsunade, but we need to bear with it… for now. However, we need to keep an eye on them. They will want to get back the power that I took for them and gave you in addition, so, we need to wary of them. The Haruno wishes to use her daughter to get access to Naruto.”

Tsunade tells Sarutobi, looking at Hinata with Naruto, “Too bad that he is already taken.”

Sarutobi tells Tsunade, with a plain tone, “True, but he has the Rinnegan and by the looks of it, this Rinnegan might be able to be transferred to any children Naruto has. Added to the fact that he comes from Uzumaki clan, the ‘clan of longevity’, in which certain traits from the fox will be passed down as well… you get the idea.”

Tsunade tells Sarutobi, “If Naruto wants to be in the CRA, then I will allow him, but knowing him, he will only do it if he loves the girl like his love for Hinata is growing.”

Sarutobi says, with a grin, “True, he is just like his dad. But I think that just like his dad…” Sarutobi then points towards Ayane and Tsunade looks to see Ayane trying to hide a blush which others manage to notice that it is because of Naruto.

Tsunade thinks in her mind, with a sigh, “I get you, Old Man. A real ‘lady killer’ like his pop and it looks like being like his pops is winning the hearts of other girls too.”

(About one week later; At Orochimaru’s lair)

Inside of Orochimaru’s lair, we find Kabuto standing in front of a panting and greatly sweating Orochimaru sitting down in front of him.

Kabuto asks, with a plain tone, “It is time, isn’t it?”

Orochimaru tells Kabuto, weakly, “We can’t wait… any longer… it is time…”

Kabuto says, with a nod, “I understand, Orochimaru-sama.” Soon after, Kabuto turns his head behind him to see the four people that created the barrier that trapped the Raikage, Third Hokage, and Orochimaru together before it was destroyed by Shooting Star Dragon.

Orochimaru tells them, weakly, “You know what to do… The time is right… Head for the Leaf Village right now.”

Kabuto tells them, “You know who your target is, but if you happen upon one of the Signers, try to capture one of them. However, I doubt you will succeed with Naruto. Remember who are his parents are and the bloodline he holds. Try to get a sample of his blood if you can.”

The red haired female of the group says, with a snort, “Whatever, four-eyes.” Soon enough, the group heads off for the Leaf Village and their target through the Signers seem to be a secondary target of their mission.

(Back in the Leaf Village; on the meanwhile)

Inside of the Leaf Village, we find ourselves within the same stadium that held the finals of the Chunin Exams through they were interrupted by the invasion of the Sound and Sand villages where we find Sasuke, with a Neo Domino City duel disk with a dueling deck inside attached to his left wrist, looking as Naruto walks into the stadium with his duel disk attached to his left wrist and a dueling deck inside.

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “So, you decided to show huh? I thought that you would chicken out, Dobe.”

Naruto says, with a foxy smirk, “Hardly, Teme.”

There are plenty of people in the stands including Jiraiya, who is with Tsunade, Shizune, and Sarutobi, in which Tsunade asks Jiraiya, “What are you doing here Jiraiya?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “I came here to see my student lay a hurting on that Uchiha prink! Can’t miss this!”

Shizune asks Tsunade, “My lady, how did so many people find out about this match?”

Tsunade says, with a snarl, “I guess that there are a few people that can’t keep their mouth shut or something.”

Also within the stands, there are the Signers and many of their friends/teammates/allies in which Kiba yells out, “Oh, yeah! I can’t wait for Naruto to give Sasuke a new one! He has had this coming!”

Shino tells Kiba, plainly, “The Uchiha make their children play Duel Monsters the instant that they are able to walk, Kiba. I think that Sasuke went through pretty much the same before his clan was destroyed.”

Kiba says, with a smirk, “So what, Shino? Most likely, Sasuke was being an ass too much to practice Duel Monsters and Naruto is going to kick his butt!”

Tenten says, with a snort, “I can’t believe that Sasuke tried to force Lady Ayane to marry him! I hope that Naruto-sama kicks his butt!”

Lee says, with a nod, “Indeed, Tenten. Sasuke was being way unyouthful for his attempt on the Lady Signer and now, Naruto, as a fellow Signer, is showing his youthfulness by defending the honor of his fellow Signer.”

Neji asks Lee, “Lee, are you sure that you should be here?”

Tenten asks Neji, a bit surprised, “Are you concerned about Lee, Neji?”

Neji replies, with a plain tone, “He is our teammate after all, Tenten.”

Lee tells Neji, with a grin, “Thanks to Hokage-sama and her surgery, I am just fine! Thanks to Gai-sensei, I used my inner strength to endure and Hokage-sama found plenty of ways to increase my chances! As you can see, my youthfulness came through and my surgery was a complete success.” FYI: Lee had many bone fragments in his back in which major surgery was required, but the type of surgery that was needed, Lee had only a fifty-fifty chance of survival even with Tsunade performing the surgery. However, Tsunade did research, inspired by Kabuto, and figured out a way to increase his chances. Recently, Lee went through the surgery, with encouragement from his teacher, Might Gai, and now, Lee is on the road to recovery.

Tenten says, with a sigh, “We know that, Lee. But you need time to recover from the surgery in order to regain your full strength.”

Lee says, with a nod, “And I will make sure to follow it to the letter, but Lady Hokage told me that I could be here to see this.”

With Sakura, she is with Ino and Ino tells Sakura, “Sakura, isn’t there something that we can do about this?”

Sakura says, with a sigh, “There is nothing that we can do, Ino. Those two are going to go through with this and as much as I hate to admit, Sasuke shouldn’t have forced himself onto Ayane. And Naruto was just defending her honor. At least this way, Sasuke won’t get into major trouble. The Third Hokage put major rules about the Signers and Sasuke could have been in major trouble because he forcefully grabbed her arm.”

Ino says, shocked, “I can’t believe it!”

Sakura tells Ino, “I was there, Ino. I don’t want this to happen, Ino, but there is nothing that we can do.” Sakura thinks in her mind, worriedly, “I just hope that this won’t make Sasuke become worse. Our team seems to be falling apart and there is nothing that I can do! I don’t want to hurt either of them and I don’t want them to hurt each other!”

Naruto tells Sasuke, with a foxy smirk, “This is your best chance to back down now. Say you’re sorry to Ayane and back off or I might have to make you look like a fool in front of your ‘adoring public’.”

Sasuke says, with a smirk, “Don’t think that because you are a Signer, you can beat me. It doesn’t matter if you are a Signer, the son of two legendary ninja including the Fourth Hokage, and have a dojutsu to rival mine, Dobe. You are the same Dobe that I’ve known since the Academy.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Is that what you think, Teme? Then you are going to lose. I’ve grown a lot since those days especially with the help of my friends and precious people.”

Sasuke says, with a smirk, “It won’t be enough to beat me, Naruto.”

Naruto replies, with his foxy smile, “We’ll see about that Sasuke.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “Now, show those God Cards outside of your deck, Dobe.”

Ninja Ryu appears on the scene with Kakashi and Kakashi says, showing a box, “Here they are Sasuke.” They open the box to display the Egyptian God Cards, Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra, right in front of them in which they close the box.

Naruto asks, with a plain tone, “Satisfied Teme?”

Sasuke says, with a nod, “I can tell that they are not fakes. I can feel their power in them. I might take them after this match.”

Naruto tells Sasuke, “Don’t count on it, Sasuke. Even if you do win, only we can use them along with Jaden-san.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “Whatever, Dobe. Let’s do this.” The two of them take their positions, they activate their duel disks, which display 4000 life-points for each duelist, and after their decks are shuffled, they draw five cards from their decks.

“Duel!” Naruto and Sasuke yell out in unison as their duel begins.

Sasuke says, drawing a card, “I’ll start this duel off, Dobe!” Sasuke says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Vorse Raider in attack mode!” Vorse Raider (1900/1200) then appears on the field in attack mode and Sasuke says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I end my turn with these cards face-down!”

In the stands, Jaden says, amazed, “Wow, déjà vu! That looks like similar to a play that Seto Kaiba made!”

Alexis says, with a nod, “I agree, Jaden.”

Ryu thinks in his mind, “What is he up to?”

Hinata thinks in her mind, concerned, “Be careful Naruto-kun.”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Naruto says, discarding Battle Fader (0/0) monster card, “I discard my Battle Fader to special summon my Power Giant!” After Naruto puts a card on his duel disk, Power Giant (2200/0) appears on the field in attack mode in which Naruto says, with a grin, “But since I play it this way, it loses the same level as the discarded monster!” Power Giant goes from a level six to a level five and Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play my Mad Archfiend now!” Soon after, Mad Archfiend (1800/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto yells out, “Okay, Teme, take this! Power Giant, it is time to take out his Vorse Raider with your massive fists!”

Sasuke thinks in his mind, slyly, “Fool.” Sasuke says, pushing two buttons on his duel disk, “I activate my face-down cards and first up, it is my Shrink spell card!” Sasuke’s first face-down is revealed to be the Shrink Quick-Play spell card and Sasuke says, with a grin, “Now, I cut my Vorse Raider’s attack points in half to play my Crush Card Virus trap card!” When Vorse Raider goes from 1900/1200 to 950/1200, Sasuke’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Crush Card Virus trap card.

Davis says, shocked, “Oh, man! Brutal!”

Alexis says, with a serious tone, “I thought so. That card wipes out all monsters on Naruto’s field with fifteen hundred or more attack points as well as his hand and every since time that he draws cards for the next three turns!”

Sasuke says, with a grin, “Too bad, Dobe! You have no deck now!”

After Vorse Raider vanishes causing a purple mist to appear, Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Trap Booster spell card! By discarding one card in my hand, I can play one trap card from my hand!” Naruto discards one card, plays the last card in his hand, and he says, when a Starlight Road trap card appears on the field, “And I play Starlight Road! When you play a card that destroys two or more of my cards, this card negates your card and allows me to play one Stardust Dragon no questions asked!”

Sasuke yells out, stunned, “What?!” Just then the purple mist vanishes, Naruto takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck, and when Naruto puts it on his duel disk, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

There are plenty of surprised looks and Ino asks, perplexed, “Isn’t that…?”

Ryu says, with a smile, “As Signers, we support each other and Naruto defended my sister.”

Davis says, with a grin, “It shows that jerk that he is facing not just Naruto, but all of us together.”

Back to the duel, Naruto says, with a grin, “How do you like that, Teme? Ryu gave me his card to help me defend his sister’s honor and this shows that when you make a fight with the Signers, you fight all of us, Teme! There is no way that you can win with Ryu and the others supporting me!”

Sasuke exclaims, angrily, “I crush you, Naruto! I don’t care if you have your fellow Signers cards!”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Big talk from someone that doesn’t have a defense anymore, Sasuke! Okay, Power Giant, time to start where we left off!”

Power Giant charges in to attack Sasuke directly and Sasuke says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Since you are attacking me directly, I play Battle Fader in attack mode!” Immediately, Battle Fader (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Sasuke says, with a sneer, “And now, this Battle Phase is over!” Battle Fader causing a loud bell sounds to ring throughout the field forcing Power Giant back to Naruto’s field. Sasuke tells Naruto, with a sneer, “Did you really think that I would let someone like you hit me? Forget it, Dobe!”

Naruto says, with a snort, “Make your move, big mouth!”

Sasuke says, drawing a card, “You are going to regret those words, Dobe!” Sasuke says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Ancient Rules and summon one level five or above Normal Monster! And I choose my Tri-Horned Dragon!” When Sasuke puts a card on his duel disk, Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2350) appears on the field in attack mode.

Naruto says, nervously, “That’s not good.”

Sasuke says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I release my Battle Fader to play Volcanic Hammerer in attack mode!” Battle Fader vanishes from the field and Volcanic Hammerer (2400/1500) appears on the field in attack mode. Sasuke yells out, “Dragon, destroy that pathetic lizard now!” Tri-Horned Dragon slices through Stardust Dragon and it cries out as it is destroying costing Naruto 350 life-points.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Oh, man! Sorry, Ryu.”

Sasuke yells out, “Now, take out his pathetic giant Volcanic Hammerer!” Volcanic Hammerer unleashes an inferno on Power Giant, destroying it, and costing Naruto another 200 life-points. Sasuke says, with a smirk, “So much for your so-called ‘bond’, Dobe.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I’m far from finished Teme! And my friends are finished with you either! We’re going to kick your butt!”

Sasuke says, with a grin, “Show me what you got, Naruto.”

I get two more cards!” Naruto draws two cards and he says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Hyper Synchron Tuner monster!” Soon after, Hyper Synchron (1600/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto yells out, “And now, I tune my Mad Archfiend with Hyper Synchron!” Just then Hyper Synchron unleashes four stars from his chest that turn into four rings that surround Mad Archfiend and make it become transparent. When a column of light appears on the field, Naruto chants out, as he takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck, “The ruler’s heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the Synchro Monster on his duel disk and exclaims, “You want power, Teme! Then try my Red Dragon Archfiend!” Out of the light, Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and when an image of Hyper Synchron goes into it, Naruto says, with a smile, “Plus, since Hyper Synchron was used to bring out my bad boy, Red Dragon Archfiend gains eight hundred attack points and can’t be destroyed in battle!” Red Dragon Archfiend’s stats go up from 3000/2500 to 3800/2500!

Sasuke says, with a sneer, “It won’t be enough to beat me, Dobe!”

Naruto says, with a grin, “We’ll see about that jerk! Red Dragon, crush his rotten Tri-Horned Dragon with Absolute Power Force!” Red Dragon Archfiend smashes its flaming right fist into Tri-Horned Dragon, destroying it, and Sasuke growls as he loses 950 life-points. Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I think that’s enough pain for now.”

Sasuke says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Sasuke says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Card of Demise! This card allows me to draw until I have five cards in my hand, but I lose my hand in five turns! However, this duel won’t last too long!” Sasuke draws five cards from his deck, but he feels a powerful sensation from one of the cards.

Kari, however, also feels and she thinks in her mind, “What is this horrible feeling? I feel a powerful darkness coming from one of those cards!”

Sasuke looks at his hand, he gains a sinister smile, and Naruto thinks in his mind, “Oh, boy! I think that he drew something powerful cards!”

Sasuke says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Silent Doom and revive Vorse Raider!” Just then Vorse Raider (1900/1200) reappears on the field in defense mode and Sasuke says, putting another card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I activate my Fiend’s Sanctuary spell card! This card gives me one Metal Fiend Token on my field!” Immediately, one Metal Fiend Token (0/0) appears on Sasuke’s field in attack mode and Sasuke says, taking one more card from his hand which seems to give off a powerful darkness sensed by certain members of the audience and Naruto as well, “And now, I release all three of my monsters to play my ace: The Wicked Avatar in attack mode!”

Naruto asks, stunned, “The Wicked What?!” All three monsters on Sasuke’s field turning into streams of darkness in which reform into a massive black sphere version of the Winged Dragon of Ra’s sphere mode, The Wicked Avatar (?/?), appears on the field in attack mode.

There are many gasps from everyone other than Sasuke and Ken asks, stunned, “What is that thing?”

Kari holds her head and Tai asks, seeing this and in a worried tone, “Kari, what’s wrong?”

Kari says, “That monster… there is… a great amount of darkness coming from it…”

Momiji says, shocked, “How can this be? No one should have that card!”

Haku asks Momiji, “What is it, Momiji-sensei?”

Rachel says, with a plain tone, “I’ve heard about it even in my homeland. That monster is a polar opposite of The Winged Dragon of Ra and one of three monsters known as the Wicked God cards.”

Jaden asks, shocked, “Wicked God cards?”

Serena asks, concerned, “How did he get such a card?”

Davis says, seriously, “I don’t know and I don’t like it.”

Soon enough, The Wicked Avatar then transforms into a black version of Red Dragon Archfiend and Naruto asks, “Huh? Why does it look like my monster?”

Sasuke says, with a wicked smile, “My Wicked God monster gains attack points equal to the strongest monster on the field plus one hundred more!” Naruto gasps as The Wicked Avatar goes from 0/0 to 3900/3900 and Sasuke says, with a sinister grin, “And by the way, Dobe, you can’t activate any spell or trap cards until after the second turn that this mighty entity is summoned!”

Naruto exclaims, shocked, “No way!”

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “Avatar, show this peon what I mean! Darkness Absolute Power Force!” Avatar, in the form of Red Dragon Archfiend, attacks Red Dragon Archfiend with a dark version of its attack in which slams into Red Dragon Archfiend’s chest in which Naruto groans out as he loses 100 life-points, but due to Hyper Synchron’s ability, Red Dragon Archfiend remains on the field.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “I think that I felt that! That monster is no ordinary monster!”

Sasuke says, with a wicked grin, “I end my turn, Dobe.”

Kiba calls out, shocked, “No fair! When did that jerk get such a monster?!”

Shino tells Kiba, “I’m not sure, Kiba, but something about that creature makes my bugs uneasy.”

When Kiba looks at Shino, he then looks at Akamaru, who was whimpering in fear, and he thinks, “Akamaru feels the same way, Shino. Something about that monster sends off major alarm bells and I don’t like it.”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “Look, Teme, I don’t know where you got a card and I don’t care right now, but something tells me that you shouldn’t be using it!”

Sasuke asks, with a smirk, “Scared that I will crush you, Dobe?”

Naruto says, “As if, Teme!” However, Naruto groans when he looks at the card at his hand and he yells out, “I switch Archfiend from attack to defense mode to end my turn!” Red Dragon Archfiend switches from attack to defense mode.

Sasuke says, drawing a card, “Trying to improve your defense, fool? That’s not going to work!” Sasuke says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Raigeki spell card and destroy the monsters on your field!” Just then a huge lightning storm hits the field and destroys Red Dragon Archfiend in which Avatar turns back into a sphere with its stats going back to 0/0 in which Sasuke says, with a grin, “Your pathetic Tuner might have kept your lizard protected from attacks, but spells and traps are another story! However, my Avatar is the only monster on the field meaning that it has no strength, but not for long!” Sasuke says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I use Monster Reborn to revive my Tri-Horned Dragon!” Soon after, Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2350) reappears on the field while Wicked Avatar transforms into a dark version of said dragon causing its stats to become 2950/2950.

Hinata says, worriedly, “Naruto-kun…”

Ayane says, shocked, “This can’t be!”

Sasuke says, with a sneer, “Game over, Dobe! Avatar, attack him now!” Avatar, in Tri-Horned Dragon’s form, charges at Naruto and slashes him in which yelps out as the attack sends him flying to the ground as he loses 2950 life-points.

Sora says, shocked, “I think that he is hurt!”
Tenten says, seriously, “Stop this match! That monster is no illusion!”

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “Now, Tri-Horned Dragon, destroy him!” Tri-Horned Dragon rushes in for the kill, but Naruto discards the card from his hand and a Kuriboh (300/200) appears in front of him taking Tri-Horned Dragon’s attack surprising Sasuke.

Naruto says, getting back to his feet, “Sorry, Teme, but my Kuriboh negates damage from your attack when I discard my little guy from my hand.”

Sasuke says, with a sneer, “You had a weak monster to save you, huh? Doesn’t matter, Naruto.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “None of my monsters are weak! And I won’t lose this duel no matter what kind of freaky card that you use! Believe it!”

Sasuke says, with a wicked smile, “Try me!”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Sonic Chick in defense mode!” Immediately, Sonic Chick (300/300) appears on the field in defense mode and Naruto says, with a serious tone, “And due to my chick’s ability, you can’t destroy her with monsters that have nineteen hundred attack points or more!”

Sasuke says, with a smirk, “Is that it, Naruto? It shows how pathetic you really are. And now, it is time to end this duel!” Sasuke says, drawing a card, “My turn!” Sasuke says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I equip my Avatar with Fairy Meteor Crush giving it the ability to deal piercing damage!”

Davis says, strongly, “Oh, crap! If that attack hits, Naruto is finished!”

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “You shouldn’t have insulted the power of my clan, Dobe! Now, pay the price! Avatar, get rid of this trash!” Avatar then rushes in to attack Sonic Chick and finish off Naruto’s life-points.

Hinata and Ayane yell out in unison, “Naruto-kun!”

Naruto removes a Necro Gardna (600/1300) monster card and he exclaims, “I remove my Necro Gardna from my graveyard! And with it, I can negate one attack that you send against me!” Just then an image of Necro Gardna appears in front of Sonic Chick and Avatar’s attack is stopped.

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “You are delaying the inevitable, Dobe! You think that just because you are a Signer, you are better than me! No matter who your parents were and no matter, you are still the worthless loser that you always were and I’m about to prove it!”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You think that I care if I’m better than you or not?! Guess what, Teme? I don’t! Personally, I used to respect you and I wanted to prove that I’m just as good as someone like you, but those days are far from over! I really don’t care what you or what anyone else thinks of me! I know who I am and I don’t need to prove anything to anyone! And to me, this duel isn’t about knowing who is better than whom! It is to protect the honor of a friend! You assaulted a person that I considered a precious person and tried to force yourself on her into becoming your little ‘breeding factory’! That’s not going to cut it with me, Teme! I’ll fight for her and all the people that I care about, friends, loved ones, or otherwise! One of my friends taught me that you can only gain true strength by protecting someone who is precious to you and I know that she is right! No matter what kind of freaky cards or powers that is sent against me, if the people that I care about are in danger and they are behind me, I’ll always have the strength to succeed!” Soon after, Naruto’s deck glows along with his and the other five Marks of the Dragon.

Serena asks, stunned, “Our marks?”

Davis says, with an amazed tone, “They are reacting to Naruto’s feelings.”

Hinata says, with a warm smile, “Naruto-kun…” Just then all six Marks of the Dragon vanish and the full Crimson Dragon mark appears on Naruto’s back in which he puts his hand on his deck.
Naruto yells out, strongly, “My turn!” When Naruto draws the card, there is a shockwave of power that everyone feels. Naruto looks at the card and he says, pushing the button on his duel disk, “Since your Avatar’s freaky power is done, I play my Call of the Haunted trap card!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted continuous trap card and Naruto says, “This card allows me to revive a monster in the grave and my Red Dragon Archfiend will do nicely!” Just then Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) reappears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “And now, I play Majestic Dragon in attack mode!” Soon after, Majestic Dragon (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto says, with a serious tone, “No attack points? No problem since I tune him with my Red Dragon Archfiend and my Sonic Chick to really pump up the power, Teme!” Majestic Dragon then grows bigger to engulf the other two monsters making them become transparent causing a beam of light to come from Naruto’s Extra deck to hit his duel disk causing a new Synchro Monster card to appear on it while Naruto chants out, “Polished, lone light! Become the true high ruler and illuminate the earth! Shine your light! Synchro Summon!” Naruto calls out, “Now, meet Majestic Red Dragon!” Out of the light from Majestic Dragon, Majestic Red Dragon (4000/3000) appears on the field in attack mode.

When Avatar turns into a black version of Majestic Red Dragon and gains stats of 4100/4100, Sasuke says, with a confident smirk, “My Avatar becomes one hundred points stronger than the strongest monster on the field! Pointless Naruto!”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Majestic Red Dragon allows me to negate the abilities of one monster this turn and gains its attack power, but since your monsters points are determined by its ability, it is a moot point, Sasuke!” Sasuke gasps as Majestic Red Dragon blasts Wicked Avatar in bright light, transforming it back to normal, and its stats return to 0/0!

Sasuke exclaims, stunned, “How can this be? How can I lose to you?!”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “It’s because you are fighting alone and I have many friends and people that care about me on my side, Sasuke! As long as you fight alone, you will never have the strength to beat me ever! Majestic Red Dragon, end this duel now with Ultimate Power Force!” Majestic Red Dragon charges in, goes through Wicked Avatar, and Avatar explodes into nothingness causing a powerful shockwave that shakes the whole arena as well as throwing Sasuke to the ground, hard, while he loses 4000 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, the final holograms vanish from the field and Naruto says, with a plain tone, “And that’s game, Sasuke.”

Davis yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, pal!”

Kiba calls out, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! That’s the way Naruto!”

Lee shouts out, excitedly, “Great job, Naruto! Your youthfulness has truly won the day!”

Tenten says, with a smile, “That was amazing!”

Neji says, with a plain tone, “I’m not surprised. Namikaze has defeated me before because I underestimated him and his power and Uchiha did the same.”

Sasuke struggles to a sitting position and he says, stunned, “How can this? This can’t be right!”

Naruto walks over and he says, with a stern expression, “This is right, Sasuke. I just beat you in this duel and there is no cheating or anything, so, don’t try to get out of this one.”

Tsunade then calls out, “As the winner of this duel, Ayane doesn’t have to marry you, Uchiha! Not only that, you own two ‘favors’ to Naruto!”

Sasuke growls and Naruto tells Sasuke, “Okay, Teme, for the first thing, you are going to apologize to Ayane for that stunt that you pulled on her a week ago!”

Sasuke calls out, “Apologize?!”

Naruto tells Sasuke, “That’s right, Teme! You owe Ayane that and you are going to do that now! And I want it for everyone to hear, Sasuke! Believe it!”

Sasuke growls as he obviously doesn’t want to apologize especially publicly apologize to anyone and he says, grinding his teeth as he does so, “I… I… apologize to Ayane Fudo for attempting to force her to marry me!”

Ayane calls out, slyly, “I accept it, Uchiha, but don’t try it again or I won’t be as nice as Naruto!”

Naruto tells Sasuke, “And two, you will surrender that Wicked God Card to me right now!” Sasuke gives a greater angered growl, not because of the card, but because he has to give up something to anyone, especially to Naruto.

When Ninja Ryu comes down with box and opens it, Sasuke takes out The Wicked Avatar (?/?) Wicked God card and he says, with a growl, “Here, take it, Dobe!” Sasuke throws the card into the box and Ninja Ryu closes it in which he locks it tight as well as goes over to Momiji to prepare a seal for it.

Kakashi thinks in his mind, “I’m going to need to talk to Sasuke about that card and about his actions since the Chunin Exams.”

Sasuke asks, with a nasty tone, “Satisfied, Dobe?”

Naruto tells Sasuke, with a plain tone, “I take no pleasure in this and personally, I told you before I respected you and that’s why I worked hard to beat you, but seeing you the way that you are now, I don’t need to prove a darn thing to you, Teme. To be honest, seeing the way that you are and knowing what I know about you, Teme… I can only pity you, Sasuke.” Naruto then turns away and starts to leave to meet up with the others in which Sasuke gains an enraged look in his feature as he lowers his head.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “Pity?! Pity?! You… you worthless loser! I don’t need your pity! I’m not some kind of weak child! But I don’t have the strength that I desire because of you! You, the child of the Fourth Hokage and the Red Storm herself! But you are still nothing to me! Nothing, Naruto! I show you… I show everyone that you are nothing to me!” Just then electric chakra flares around Sasuke and his head shoots open to see his Sharingan eyes.

There are plenty of gasps and Serena calls out, “Naruto, watch out!” Naruto turns to see Sasuke charging at him with a Chordi with the intent to kill.

Kakashi calls out, “Sasuke, stop it!” However, before Sasuke could get close, green vine-like tentacles wrap around him, choke him, and he yelps as his attack fizzles as he is lifted into the air by Rose Tentacles (2200/1200) by Ayane, who has her duel disk activated with the monster card on her duel disk.

Ayane says, great anger in his tone and expression, “Don’t you dare touch him you worthless piece of scum!”

Sasuke says, angrily, “How dare you…!” However, Sasuke gasps as his life is getting choke and the way that he is restrained, he can’t form any hand signs. Soon after, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Shizune, Kakashi, and Sarutobi arrive on the scene and Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Sarutobi have pissed off looks on their faces.

Tsunade yells out, angrily, “How dare you make an attempt on Naruto’s life like that?! You know, you little asshole, Naruto could have demanded your clan property or something very embarrassing from you, but instead, he only demanded that you say your sorry and take away that dangerous card that you just got! He tried to save your dignity if you had any and what do you do? You try to kill him because he pitied you! Those old and rotten frats might have put up with your antics, but I sure won’t! You have crossed the line and now, you are going to pay!” Tsunade snaps her fingers and a group of ANBU appear on the scene. Tsunade says, pointing to the bound Sasuke, “ANBU, take the Uchiha to Ibiki and Anko for an attempt on Naruto’s life! Tell them to make his session with them ‘extra special’ and they can do what they please with him.” There are plenty of gasps and the ANBU as well as plenty of the other ninja that know Ibiki and Anko shutter in fear.

Koharu and Homura, who were in the audience, run out and Homura yells out, “You can’t do that!”

Tsunade tells them, with a glare, “Do you wish for me to have you executed for treason for speaking out against the Hokage, you old fool?!”

Sasuke says, weakly, “You can’t… do this to me…”

Tsunade tells Sasuke, with a glare filled with massive KI, “I am the Hokage! My word is law! No one, especially not you, is above the law and before you open your flap, Naruto has never broken the law through assholes in this village have committed major crimes against him and they know it! And by the way, Naruto is a Signer and I had enforced the law on the Signers in which any attempt on their life is a death sentence! The only reason that I’m not cutting off your head right now is Naruto wouldn’t want me to do that! And you are going to remember that! You are only still alive after this fucking stunt because of Naruto’s mercy!”

Sasuke yells out, angrily, “I don’t need that Dobe’s mercy!”

Kakashi tells Sasuke, with a stern tone, “Do you want to be dead, Sasuke? Because you broke the law and the Hokage can just snap her fingers and you are dead in an instant. And I won’t lift a finger to help and in fact, no one will lift a finger to help you Sasuke.”

Sasuke starts to rant again and Jiraiya tells Ayane, “Lady Ayane, please shut him up!”

Ayane says, with a grin, “With pleasure!” Soon after, Rose Tentacles slams Sasuke into the ground really hard causing a crater to be formed with his form and he is knocked out cold. When Rose Tentacles releases him, the ANBU pick him off and take him to be tortured and interrogated by the two people that are known be really sadistic when it comes to that job in the Leaf Village.

Tai says, with a sneer, “What an asshole! He tried to kill Naruto!”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “That’s the way of the Uchiha, Kamiya-san.”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “You can see why Hayabusa-sama and my clan have trouble with Uchiha.”

Matt says, with a nod, “No joke. If his whole clan were assholes, then it might be a good thing that they are all dead. It isn’t nice to say, but if they are like that jerk of a teammate, then I don’t want to imagine a whole clan full of them.”

Koharu tells Tsunade, “We may not be the village elders anymore, but Tsunade, you need to be reasonable, putting them with those two could break the Uchiha’s mind.”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “As if his mind didn’t have a screw loose, you old frat? And by the way, you are right… You are no longer the elders of this village! Sarutobi-sensei is!”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “And I’ve regretted every moment of seeing this village feed this boy’s ego. The boy has crossed the line when he attempted to attack and most likely, kill, Naruto. His attempt on a fellow ninja is trouble enough for him, but you might remember the law that I passed on the Signers? Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze is a Signer and that law applies, so, it is only because Naruto doesn’t want to see Sasuke go the gallows is the only reason that he is not dead right here and now! However, I shall ADVISE Tsunade to take the Uchiha out of Ibiki’s and Anko’s hands… when he is unconscious from the torture.”

The former villager elders gasp and Tsunade says, with a wicked smile, “I might consider it.” Tsunade says, with a stern sneer, “Not get out of my sight or I shall have you sent them too!”

The former villager elders growl and glare as they turn to leave and Naruto says, with a low sigh, “Sasuke, you really got yourself in it this time.”

In the stands, Kiba yells out, angrily, “That fucking piece of dirt! After all Naruto tried to do to savage any dignity for them and what does he do? He tries to murder him! If I ever seen him, Akamaru and I will use him for target practice! Maybe I should ask my mom to advise the Hokage to keep that prick in torture and interrogation for a week!”

Lee says, annoyed, “Such an unyouthful act! If I were at full strength, I would teach Sasuke Uchiha a lesson!”

Neji tells Lee, “The only one that can keep the Uchiha in check is the Namikaze, Lee. It is best that you don’t get in-between them.”

Tenten asks Neji, “What are you saying Neji?”

Neji tells Tenten, “I’m not saying that I want them to destroy each other, Tenten. However, Naruto showed me something in our match and those two have made a shared path of their own. Unfortunately, from what I see, those two have created a path where the two of them are in constant conflict. Sasuke Uchiha is in the darkness while Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze represents not just light, but life. I fear those two are fated for a deadly clash sooner or later because of the paths that they have chosen. Sasuke, the avenger, and Naruto, the protector and defender.” Lee’s and Tenten’s eyes widen at this, not because of what Neji just said, but how Neji just talked about choosing one’s path.

Ino says, horrified, “I can’t… I can’t believe that Sasuke-kun would do that! He tried to murder Naruto in cold blood!”

Sakura thinks in her mind, shocked and horrified, “Sasuke, what are you becoming?!”

Ryu asks Ayane, curiously, “By the way, Ayane: Naruto-KUN?”

Ayane gains a wide flush and she replies, nervously, “It… I… A mistake since that card was really hurt Naruto.” Hinata looks at Ayane and her blushing cheeks which she is failing to do in which she can see that Ayane is ‘thinking’ of Naruto more than as a friend.

On the meanwhile, Jiraiya tells Kakashi, “What were you thinking teaching him THAT jutsu?”

Kakashi tells Jiraiya, with a plain tone, “I was thinking of suppressing that need for power in Sasuke. However, I wouldn’t have taught him THAT jutsu if I didn’t know that you had the perfect counter to it.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “The Rasengan, huh? I get it now. Aren’t you putting too much on Naruto’s shoulders? He is much as his father’s son as well as his mom.”

Kakashi tells Jiraiya, “Hopefully, it won’t have to come to that, Jiraiya-sama. I don’t want to put Naruto on the spot with Sasuke if I don’t need to. Hopefully, this incident will scare some sense into him.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Or mess up his mind even more if it already isn’t cracked enough, Kakashi.”

Kakashi tells Jiraiya, with a plain tone, “Then I will take responsibility and finish him off myself. However, there may be times when I’m gone on some kind of important mission if Sasuke does the worst case scenario, I know that Naruto will keep him contained at least until I get there or do the job that he needs to do.”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “You might be putting too much faith in Naruto this time, Kakashi. He has his dad’s heart, but he doesn’t have his brains.”

(One day later; Just outside of the Leaf Village)

Right now, we find Orochimaru’s elite guard, known as the Sound Four, at the edge of the village with no resistance found what so ever.

The one with dark skin and four arms says, with a sinister smile, “What a peaceful little village. However, its lack of security is something else.”

The one with silver hair and colored lips says, with a wicked grin, “Heh, this village should be taught a lesson. We can walk right in and take them all out.”

The dark skinned one says, “Don’t even start Sakon.”

The tall burly male says, “That’s right. We’re not here to wipe anyone out.”

The red haired female one tells the tall burly one, in a sassy tone, “What’s the matter tubby? You’re scared? Why don’t you do us a favor and go back to bed?”

The dark skinned one tells the red haired one, “All right, Tayuya, that’s enough. We know what our mission is, right? We’re here as an escort for a ‘special guest’ through other ‘special guests’ aren’t forbidden.” Soon after, the four members of Orochimaru’s elite ninja head off to get their hands on their ‘special guest’.

(That same day; Inside of the Leaf Village)

Right now, we find Sasuke sitting down on one of the large branches of a large tree inside of the Leaf Village in which he starts to think about his encounter with Itachi, the battle in the Land of Snow, and his defeat in that Duel Monsters match at Naruto’s hands as well as Naruto’s rapidly growing strength and skill. After he regained consciousness, he had a bit of a ‘session’ with Ibiki and Anko and let’s just say that plenty of ninja near his ‘interrogation’ winched at the screams and such in which Sasuke’s unconscious form was dragged back to his home which he woke up this morning.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “What have I been doing all this time?” Sasuke gains a nasty scowl on his features in which the Sound Four are watching from a nearby roof in which Sakon giggles in delight.

Sakon says, with a sinister smile, “I like that look in his eyes.” As the Sound Four prepare to make their move, Sasuke finds himself tied up by ninja wire and he looks up to see Kakashi in front of him.

Kakashi tells Sasuke, with a plain tone, “I thought that it is time that you and I had a talk and you are going to listen.”

Sasuke asks, with a sneer, “What’s this all about?”

Kakashi tells Sasuke, “Sorry, Sasuke, but I knew you wouldn’t sit down for a lecture, so, I thought that I had to pin you down.”

As the Sound Four looked on, the dark skinned one says, “The one with Sasuke is Kakashi and I know him well.”

Back with Kakashi and Sasuke, Kakashi tells Sasuke, “You have got to let it go and forget about revenge, Sasuke!”

Sasuke asks, annoyed, “What?”

Kakashi tells Sasuke, “Believe me, Sasuke, I’ve met a lot of guys that feel the way that you do and trust me, those who follow the path of revenge, it never ends well. You will tear yourself apart in the end and if you do get your revenge, what will you have then? Nothing and emptiness, Sasuke.”

Sasuke says, annoyed, “Shut up, Kakashi! You don’t know anything about me!”

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “Calm down, Sasuke.”

Sasuke says, with a sly sneer, “Maybe if I killed everyone you cared about, then maybe I’ll listen to you because you would know how I feel!”

Kakashi tells Sasuke, “That would be an interesting theory to test out, but you are too late. Everyone that you are talking about are already dead.” Sasuke gives a look of surprise and Kakashi tells Sasuke, “I’ve been around longer than you, kid. And let me tell you: You aren’t the only one that have lost people. Take for example… one Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze or have you forgotten that it was your ancestor, a legendary AKA infamous Uchiha, that attacked his parents to get the Nine-Tailed Fox and caused their deaths on the day of Naruto’s birth not to mention put a great burden on Naruto that you know of. If Naruto was like you, he would put the blame of his parents’ demise on you as well since you are Madara’s descendant and try to kill you too.” Sasuke gives an annoyed look and Kakashi tells Sasuke, “But Naruto is nothing like you and put himself over revenge. None of us have lived what you would call a ‘charmed’ life especially Naruto, but Naruto went above his hardship and made himself a better person. He realized what I’m telling you now: We are better off because we have new comrades to fill the void. I know how you feel and I’ve granted you a great power in the form of the Chordi. It is not jutsu to be used against your comrades or for revenge. I think in your heart of hearts that you know what it is for. Okay, end of lecture. Now, you decide on if my lecture hits the mark or not because the next time that it hits you, physically, you might not be in one piece.”

The dark skinned Sound ninja says, “This might be tricky with that Leaf ninja around. Let’s wait a bit.”

Tayuya says, “If you are so scared of him, why not let me take care of him? He doesn’t look so tough.”

Sakon says, with a sinister grin, “I’m with you. Let’s rip him apart.”

Tayuya says, with a nasty tone, “Do I sound like I need your help? Back off, bird brain.”

The tall burly one says, with a plain tone, “It is no wonder you don’t have a boyfriend, you are…”

Tayuya says, nastily, “Shut up, fatso!”

(Elsewhere in the Leaf Village; Later that same day)

Inside of Sakura’s home, we find Sakura Haruno meeting with her mother, who is a former member of the civilian council, but unlike the others, she is planning her own path back to power through her daughter and certain blond haired Namikaze.

Sakura yells out, stunned, “You want me to what?”

Mrs. Haruno tells Sakura, sternly, “You heard me, young lady! Stop getting involved with that Uchiha! I only allowed it because he is a member of a noble clan, but by the looks of it and as much as I hate to admit, the former Third Hokage-sama and the ninja council had gotten their point about him across. Even I have got to admit that he lost fair and square especially with that dangerous card that he used and he tried to backstab Namikaze-sama! He is too dangerous!”

Sakura tells her mom, “He isn’t too dangerous! He is…”

Mrs. Haruno tells her daughter, “What? Going through a ‘bad time’? If he is willing to lash out against Namikaze-sama, then you are no different Sakura! You aren’t going to go near him and that’s an order!”

Sakura tells Mrs. Haruno, “I get it! I’m no idiot mom! You want me to seduce Naruto so you can use him to get some influence over Lady Hokage! I can’t believe that you are pulling that stunt! You are the one that associate with that asshole, Danzo!”

Mrs. Haruno tells Sakura, sternly with anger in her tone, “Watch what you say to me, young lady!”

Sakura says, with a snort, “You are only angry because you know I’m telling the truth! I’m not going to be your tool to get your ‘precious power’ back mom and I’m not going to allow you to use Naruto either especially after all those stunts that you pulled with him! You are the one that compared him to what is inside of him! You deserve what you got!” Mrs. Haruno then goes over and slaps Sakura right in the face in which she gasps as Sakura looks at her with hurt and anger as tears of the same sort threaten to fall from her eyes.

Mrs. Haruno says, weakly, “Sakura…”

Sakura says, angrily, “Don’t even say it, mom. I don’t want to hear it. I’m just your little slut to seduce powerful members of the village to get into positions of power, aren’t I? Well, I’m not your tool anymore. I’m leaving!”

Sakura runs out of her home and Mrs. Haruno yells out, “Sakura, get back here! I’m your mother! Sakura, don’t make me…!” However, Sakura doesn’t listen as she runs out of the house, but on the way out, she literally runs into Naruto.

Naruto asks, surprised, “Sakura?”

Just then Sakura cries onto Naruto’s chest and she yells out, “Naruto, take me back to your house! I need to get out of here!”

Naruto asks, perplexed and confused, “Huh? Why?”

Sakura tells Naruto, pleadingly, “Just get me out of here!” Soon enough, Naruto takes Sakura’s hand and the two of them head off back to the Namikaze compound as Mrs. Haruno comes out of the house and looks to see Naruto taking Sakura away.

(That evening)

Right now, we find Sasuke still in the tree where Kakashi lectured him and he thinks about Naruto and Sakura along with Itachi.

Sasuke growls in annoyance, “What do I do?” Just then the Sound Four leap in and land around Sasuke in which he asks, with a serious tone, “Okay, who are you?”

The dark skinned one replies, with an evil smile, “We’re the Sound Four. I’m Kidomaru of the East Gate.”

Sakon says, with a plain tone, “I’m Sakon of the West Gate.”

The tall burly one says, “I’m Jirobo of the South Gate.”

Tayuya says, with a plain tone, “And I’m Tayuya of the North Gate.” Soon after, they split up and attack Sasuke in which after a short fight, he manages to beat back Sakon in which he throws Kidomaru and Jirobo into Sakon and Tayuya, who appear beside him. However, when the smoke clears, Sasuke finds four logs showing a Substitution Jutsu has been used and the Sound Four are behind him on a nearby building.

Sasuke tells them, “Before we go any further, you might want to think about it. I’m in a bad mood.”

Sakon says, with a snicker, “Stop your prattling, you little weakling.” Sakon eggs Sasuke on and he says, “Come on, kid! I want to play ‘do re me’ on those ribs of yours until they crack!” Sakon charges Sasuke after Sasuke charges towards him first, but when they make contact, Sasuke uses some wire to entrap his foot and drag him down in which Sakon thinks, “He has got my foot!” Sasuke then attacks him with a two kicks and punch, but when Sakon blocks it, Sasuke attacks with a punch at his face. Sakon says, with a grin, “Let’s have a little music, shall we? Do!” Sasuke is then slam with a powerful force sending him flying backwards.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, surprised, “What the?”

Sakon says, with a grin, “Re.” Sasuke then gets slammed by another powerful force sending him into the tree.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “Where is he attacking from?”

Sakon says, “Your bones ring with a low tone. But let’s switch to a sharper reverberation.” Sasuke then notices an attack and he leaps out of the way of Kidomaru attacking him, but he spits a web out of his mouth that catches Sasuke’s arm in which he throws Sasuke towards Jirobo who body slams him back towards Sakon. Sakon says, with a grin, “Let’s try ‘me fas so’ combination.” Sakon then tries to attack, but Sasuke ducks knocks him into the air and uses a Dancing Leaf Shadow-Lion’s Barrage combo on him. However, when the smoke and dust clears, we find Sakon hanging onto Sasuke by his right arm and Sakon says, “Why does Orochimaru-sama want this kid? I don’t see what the big deal is. I think that Kimimaro would be much better. But then again being stuck in a rat hole of a village and you’ll turn out mediocre at best, not realizing your full strength.”

Sasuke thinks in his mind, stunned, “Why? All of my attacks hit him, but he looks just fine as if I didn’t attack him at all!”

Sakon says, with a sly grin, “If you continue to play ninja with your friends here, you’ll continue to rot on the vine especially with someone like the Namikaze being the ‘pride and joy’ of the village.”

Tayuya says, with a plain tone, “Stop being a fool. Orochimaru-sama offers you power.”
Sakon yells out, with a snort, “This is turning into a real pain. Let’s go already. Are you in or out, Uchiha?” Sakon then slams Sasuke to the wall and Sakon says, with a snort, “If this runt makes me wait anymore and I’m going to run his neck.”

Just then Curse Mark on Sasuke’s neck activates and Sasuke says, with a sneer, “Just come and try it!”

Sakon asks, plainly, “The Curse Mark hurts doesn’t it?” Sasuke charges in, but he is slammed back into the wall and he gasps to see the Sound Four covered in similar markings to himself. Sakon tells him, “You think that you are Orochimaru-sama’s only pet? The Curse Mark shouldn’t be used so reckless. It eats away at your body, but since you are in the early stages, it shouldn’t sinks its teeth too deep into you.”

Tayuya says, “In exchange for the Curse Mark’s power, you will be bond to Orochimaru-sama and all sense of freedom will be gone. To gain one thing, another must be left behind. What is your purpose, Uchiha? To stay in this backwater village with your ‘friends’, but I doubt that you have forgotten him, have you? Itachi Uchiha.”

Sakon says, with a plain tone, “Life in this village is little more than bondage to you especially since the Namikaze has come to power himself. I mean, his godmother is currently the Hokage, he has been trained by another Sannin, one similar in power to Orochimaru-sama, but not quite, and he has the power of the Rinnegan on his side in which he is gaining the power of his family jutsu. He is leaping bounds while you are being left behind, Uchiha. I also heard that he beat you badly in a duel, am I right?” Sasuke gives a growl of annoyance and Sakon says, with a grin, “It seems like I have hit a mood point, Uchiha. They will never give you what you need now that they have their ‘precious Namikaze’ and Signers on their side and soon enough, he will control your destiny. His power will go to levels far beyond you and you will be left in the dust. Serve your ties to this village and there is no limit to the power that you can gain. Remember your purpose, Uchiha!” Soon after, the Sound Four leaps away and teleport away leaving burnt leaves behind in which Sasuke takes one in his hand and crushes it in which he has an intense glare in his eyes.

(Later on that night; At Ichiraku Ramen Bar)

Right now, we find Naruto and Sakura in front of the Ichiraku Ramen Bar in which Sakura explained what happened between her mother and her in which she also talks, off hand, about Sasuke in which Naruto reveals about Anko, the prototype Curse Mark given to her by Orochimaru, and how Serena purified her of it in which tomorrow that they are going to do the same with Sasuke of which Sakura is overjoyed.

Sakura tells Naruto, “I’m glad that I can stay at your place for awhile, Naruto.”

Naruto tells Sakura, with a grin, “No problem, Sakura. I don’t blame you for your mom.”

Sakura tells Naruto, concerned, “Naruto, do you really think that this will work? Serena’s crystal?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Sure, Sakura! I saw the results myself and between you and me, Granny Tsunade had to make sure that Anko didn’t beg Serena to become her ‘owner’.”

Sakura says, with a nervous smile, “Too much information, Naruto.”

Naruto tells Sakura, “You want to head to my house right now?”

Sakura tells Naruto, “I’ll be there later, Naruto. I want to pick up a few things from my house and I’m going to need to sneak into my room. I’ll be fine.”

Naruto tells Sakura, with a smile, “Okay, Sakura! I’ll leave a key or something that you can open the door with when you get there! Night!”

Sakura tells Naruto, with a nod, “Goodnight, Naruto!” Soon after, Naruto takes off for his clan mansion while Sakura walks back to her home, but after awhile, getting a bad feeling, she heads out elsewhere.

(A short time soon after; Elsewhere in the Leaf Village)

Right now, we find Sasuke Uchiha, with his regular clothes and a pack on his back, but not his Leaf headband, walking down a pathway before Sakura appears in front of him.

Sasuke asks, plainly, “It’s the middle of the night. What are you doing around here?”

Sakura says, lowly, “This is the only road out of the village.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “You should go to bed.”

As tears flow down her eyes, Sakura tells him, “Why, Sasuke? Why won’t you tell me anything? Why is it always silence with you?”

Sasuke replies, sternly, “Why should I tell you anything?” Sasuke tells Sakura, sternly, “Keep your nose out of my business. It is none of your concern, Sakura.”

Sakura tells Sasuke, with a smile, “I know that you hate me. You never could stand me from the beginning. Remember when we first became Genin and assigned to our squads? You got so mad at me that day.”

Sasuke says, plainly, “I don’t remember that.”

Sakura says, with a weak smile, “Yeah, right. It was so long ago, right? But still, it was the day that it all began. It was the start of you, me, Naruto, and Kakashi-sensei.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “And it was the start of Naruto’s ascent to power.”

Sakura tells Sasuke, “It wasn’t Naruto’s fault and you must admit when we learned of his ‘dark secret’. That day, after we brought Ryu and Ayane back to the village, we learned about all of the horrible things that they did to Naruto because of that thing that his dad, the Fourth Hokage, sealed inside of him. It horrifies me to no end. Naruto is a goofball, but he never deserved all that shit that he went through and I can realize why he did all those stupid things. He doesn’t want to hurt you, Sasuke. Only help you.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “He can help by staying out of my way. I have my mission and he has his. He should stay on his own path and keep me out of it.”

Sakura tells Sasuke, “We know about your clan, but seeking revenge won’t bring anyone happiness and Naruto knows it. His parents were murdered by your ancestor and he doesn’t seek vengeance because he knows better. He knows that revenge won’t help anyone. Not me… not him… and not you.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “I knew it. I am traveling a path that no one of you can follow. I know that the four of us worked together and I thought that I could take that road for awhile, but in the end, I’ve decided on revenge. That’s my reason for living and that duel with that Dobe has shown me such. I’ll never be like you and I’ll especially never be like Naruto since he has gone the opposite path of mine.”

Sakura tells Sasuke, pleadingly, “Don’t do this, Sasuke! You don’t have to be alone! I understand about solitude! I have friends and family, but if you were gone, Sasuke… it would be the same thing for me.”

Sasuke tells Sakura, “This is a new beginning. Each of us has a new path before us.”

Sakura tells Sasuke, “Sasuke, I am truly in love with you. If you be with me, I’ll never leave you! I’m begging you not to run away! I’ll help you with your revenge! I’ll do what it takes to make it happen! Just stay here with or take me with you…”

Sasuke looks at Sakura and he says, with a smirk, “You haven’t changed. You are still annoying.”

As Sasuke starts to walk away, Sakura pleads with him, “Don’t leave me!” Sakura runs out and she yells out, “If you leave, I’ll scream and bring the Hokage’s ANBU to bring you to Serena to get that Curse Mark destroyed…!” But then Sasuke vanishes and reappears behind her.

Sasuke tells her, “Sakura, thank you for everything.” He then knocks her out and leaves her by a bench.

(The following day; at the Namikaze Compound)

Right now, we find ourselves within the Namikaze compound where we find Naruto sleeping on the couch with a blanket covering him in which Hinata is sleeping by him on a mattress. Naruto explained to everyone that lives in the house, including all of the Signers, Digidestined, their Digimon, Jaden, Alexis, etc, about what happened when he met up with Sakura in which they wouldn’t mind her living here in which plenty of them gave their disgust about Sakura’s mom using her own daughter for her own advancement. However, Naruto waited for Sakura all night and fell asleep on the couch in Ayane got him a blanket in which she helped Hinata to sleep by him on the mattress through due to Hinata’s shyness even through she is Naruto’s girlfriend, Ayane had to talk her into it.

Naruto gives a yawn, he hears knocking on the door, and he says, sleepily, “I’m coming.” Naruto goes over to the door, making sure that he doesn’t wake up Hinata, and opens the door to reveal Shikamaru wearing his new Chunin vest in front of him.

Shikamaru tells Naruto, plainly, “Bad news, Naruto.”

Naruto asks Shikamaru, “Shikamaru, what’s wrong?”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “Sasuke just high-tailed it out of here and we believe that he is heading for Orochimaru.”

Naruto’s eyes shoot open and he yells out, “WHAT?!”

Naruto is so loud that he is heard all over the mansion, Hinata wakes up, and Shikamaru asks, “You just woke up and you are this annoying?”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Sasuke, you rotten asshole!” Naruto tells Shikamaru, with a serious tone, “Wait right there! I’ll be dressed and prepped in just a minute!”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “You are already dressed, Naruto.” Naruto then notices that he has clothes minus his new Chunin vest on in which he sweatdrops.

Naruto says, with a sweatdrop, “Oh, yeah. I fell asleep on my couch.”

Hinata asks, rubbing her eyes, “Naruto-kun, what’s wrong?”

Naruto says, rushing to get his Chunin vest on a nearby chair, “Big emergency, Hinata-chan! I’ve got to move now! See you later!” Naruto tells Shikamaru, putting on his vest, “Do you have any other top notch guys to bring out?”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, with a grin, “A few, Naruto. Personally, I wasn’t really sure when Lady Hokage told me to bring you, but then again, you are the guy with the Rinnegan and kid of the Fourth Hokage and Red Storm after all. Plus, you are that troublesome Uchiha’s teammate, so, why not?”

Naruto tells Hinata, with a foxy smile, “Got to go, Hinata-chan! Tell the others that I’ll be out! Sorry to leave in a rush, but I pay you back with some ramen and a day out!” Soon after, Naruto and Shikamaru rush off leaving a confused Hinata in their wake.

(A short time later on; at the village gates)

Right now, at the village gates, we find Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba with Akamaru, Choji, and Neji assembled together at the front gates as they prepare to head off to get Sasuke. Shikamaru is in command with Naruto, since he is also a Chunin, is made second in command through Shikamaru isn’t sure about that.

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “It’s time to go.”

Naruto says, excitedly, “Let’s do this everyone!”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Easy there, pal. Even through you are a Chunin like me, I’m in command of this operation since Hokage-sama herself made me so, but since you are a Chunin like me, you are second in command. If anything happens to me, you will take over command of the operation.”

Neji tells Shikamaru, “Since you are Shikamaru, you will need to develop a plan since Sasuke has gone to the enemy and time is of the essence.”

Shikamaru says, plainly, “For starts, this is a rescue operation… officially.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “Officially?”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “She has also made this mission also capture as well in the form of Sasuke going to the enemy of his free will and making himself a criminal ninja. Like it or not, she has given us the choice to bring Sasuke in dead or alive.” Naruto gasps in shock and Shikamaru tells Naruto, “However, we plan to bring Sasuke in alive. And the enemy already has an advantage and I am organizing us into a pursuit organization. If you don’t do what I say and Naruto, if anything happens to me, you need to know what to do and if you don’t, you will die.” Soon enough, Shikamaru then explains about who is which position, why, and whatnot.

As they start to check their ninja tools, Naruto thinks in his mind, annoyed, “Damn it all, Sasuke! Why? How could you fall so far into the darkness?”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “Okay, everyone, let’s go.”

But then Sakura’s voice calls out, “Wait!” Everyone then looks to see Sakura and Sailor Moon in front of them.

Kiba thinks in her mind, “Who is the cute chick with the wings?”

Naruto asks Sailor Moon, “Serena, what are you doing here?”

Sailor Moon says, throwing something to Naruto, “Naruto-san, catch this.”

When Naruto catches it, he finds that it is a communicator watch that the Sailor Scouts use and he asks, “What’s this?”

Sailor Moon tells him, “Lady Tsunade told me what’s going on and I have a teleportation power. This communicator watch is similar to the one that I use and it can help me track you. When you find Sasuke, you’ll need to contact me and I can teleport in and use my crystal to do what I told you about.”

Naruto asks, stunned, “Whoa! You can use a teleportation jutsu?”

Sailor Moon says, shaking her head, “No, it is a special form of teleportation that only my friends and I can use. However, since it is only me, my range is limited.”

Choji asks, perplexed, “What’s she saying?”

Naruto says, nervously, “It is kind of complicated.”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “It’s all right, Choji. Lady Hokage told me about her and her ‘unique gift’. She needs to be there when we find Sasuke because there is something that she needs to do to Sasuke.” Shikamaru tells Sakura, “However, this is only when she isn’t in danger. As a Signer, Orochimaru will want her and knowing the details, it will be really troublesome if he gets his slimy hands on her. So, we can only contact her only when we have Sasuke taken away to safety through I don’t like putting a girl in danger. However, we can’t take you along Sakura. You tried, but even you couldn’t convince Sasuke, could you?” Naruto’s eyes widen and Shikamaru says, “And now, I have to find him and force him back to the village. However, I have been given order to take him dead or alive and I will try my best to bring him alive and intact, but I need to do what needs to be done and I can’t promise anything. I’m sorry, Sakura, but there is nothing more than you can do.”

Naruto tells Sakura, “Don’t worry, Sakura, I’ll bring him back.”

Sakura says, tears streaming down her cheeks, “Naruto, this is… one in a lifetime request… just bring him home… I did what I could… but I couldn’t stop him… Naruto, it is all up to you…”

Naruto tells Sakura, with a wide grin, “Don’t worry, Sakura! I’ll bring that rotten teme home! That’s a promise! And I never break my promises! Believe it!”

Kiba tells Naruto, “That’s a big promise, Naruto! Do you think that you should be making promises like that?!”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “We should head off. This little ‘distraction’ cost us a bit of time.”

Soon enough, the five of them head off into the distance and Lee tells Sakura, with a smile, “Don’t worry, Sakura. Naruto will bring him back. He always keeps his promises.”

Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “He does, Lee-san.”

Sakura thinks in her mind, “I’m sorry, Hinata. But he is my only hope. Naruto, just come back alive and bring Sasuke back with you.” As Sakura, Lee, and Sailor Moon look to see them head off, they don’t know what lies ahead for all of them…

Next time in Chapter 23:

Naruto: I can’t believe that Sasuke! I’m going to bring him back even I have to break every bone in his body!

Shikamaru: We are going to need to catch him first! And he has an escort! What a drag!

Choji: I’ll take the big guy!

Neji: It seems like the one with the multiple arms is mine.

Kiba: I’ll take the freak with the silver hair.

Shikamaru: And it looks like the girl is mine. Another drag.

Naruto (stunned): A fifth one?

Mysterious Sound Ninja: I’m Kimimaro, loyal servant of Orochimaru-sama. I will not allow you to interfere in the delivery of Orochimaru-sama’s next vessel!
Naruto: Vessel? Huh? Lee?

Lee: Don’t worry, Naruto! I shall take care of this one!

Ayane: Isn’t there anything that we can do to help Naruto?

Kasumi: You aren’t ready. You might be trained somewhat in the ninja arts, but you are far from ready, Lady Ayane.

Hinata: Naruto-kun…

Naruto (shocked): Sasuke, what’s happened to you?

Here we go folks! My version of the Sasuke Retrieval Arc has begun everyone! However, what will happen in this version of this story? You are going to have to read and find out! However, I’m going to let you know beforehand that I’m not going to spend too much time on Shikamaru’s, Kiba’s, Neji’s, Choji’s, and Lee’s fights with the Sound Four/Five because they are going to be pretty much the same in the anime/manga. Sorry about that, but I thought that it would be boring rewriting the same stuff that happened like in the anime/manga. Anyway, I’ll see you later, Naruto, Dueling, and Crossover Fans!
