THE BOARDING HOUSE

(The first five chapters were written ages ago before my writing skills were wonderful so please excuse the crud I call chapters 1-5)

Jina- chan: Yah! *two thumbs up* 2nd fan fic in the making.
Hiei: Like we care?
Jina- chan: Hey, you’ve got a main part in this, so don’t blow it.
Hideki: What’s it about this time?
Jina- chan: Well, I’ve rounded up my favorite anime characters into a boarding house! *shoves characters into a building*
Hiei: I’d like to see that.
Jina- chan: *rolls eyes* Well, Hiei and everyone else, enjoy!
Kenshin: That we will. *nods head*
Chapter 1. Botan Moves In
“But Botan! Please!” Koenma begged.
“No, sir. I’m retiring and my mind’s made up!” And at that, she slammed the door. Botan grabbed her oar and left the Spirit World. She headed to the nearest boarding house. But Botan was unaware of what an adventure would be waiting for her...

In a boarding house far from Spirit World:
Someone knocked on the front door. Hideki raced to open the door and tripped. Seeing that her husband was incapable of getting the door, Yumi did for him. “Hello! Your name is?”
“I’m Botan. I’d like to rent a room here. You are?”
“I’m Yumi Motosuwa, the owner. Come in!”
Yugi and Kurama were playing Duel Monsters in the kitchen. Only seeing the back of his head, Botan didn’t recognize her demon friend. Yumi and Botan sat down in the living room and drank tea as Yumi discussed the rent.
“Hey Yumi who was at the door?” Botan turned around and screamed, “HIEI?! What are you doing HERE?”
“Um...I live here. In case you didn’t notice.” Hiei replied calmly.
“Don’t worry. It’s not like he’ll kill you." Yumi reassured her (Insert irony here.) Eventually Botan rented a room. "Number four, number five...here we are number six." Botan said to herself. She opened the door stepped in. "Pretty girly. Like me!" She put her suitcases down by the door and hopped on to the soft rose pink covered bed. "So peaceful...well of course there's Hiei."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" a voice said from the window's yellow curtains.
"Did that curtain just talk?" Botan's eyes snapped open. Cautiously, she poked the bump behind the curtain.
"Ow."
"Hiei?"
"Yes?"
"Ack!" Botan jumped away from the window and cried, "Just how did you get into my locked room?"
"Master key." Hiei came out from the curtains. He had planned to scare her in her sleep but he couldn't let her insult go unretorted. "And stop acting so chicken around me. I'm not killing the girly grim reaper."
"So then will you get out?"
"No."
"Hiei!"
"Nope." Botan sighed, realizing he'd have to leave on his own. Until then the two of them talked, catching up on news from the Spirit World and Botan's friends on Earth. Finally when Botan fell asleep, Hiei got up and left.
