Chapter 2: New Friends and Old Rivals Join?

[Wake up!]

"Huh?" - Yami

In a cell, (A/N: Just remember the room where 009 started off) Yami awoke. He still had the millenium puzzle and necklace. His head was in pain.

[Good. You're ok.]

"Yugi?" - Yami

[Yugi? No, I'm 001. Please, you must escape now!]

SSSSS!

Yami looked at the side off the room and saw white smoke forming.

[Hurry and jump!] - 001

Yami looked up and saw that the next floor had to be at least 20 feet away.

"I CAN'T JUMP THAT!" - Yami

[JUST JUMP!] - 001

Yami did as he was told even though the order was from an unknown person. When he jumped, he flipped unto the next floor. He was shock when he landed.

"AH! THE CYBORG 0015'S LOOSE"

Yami looked to his left and saw a scientist running toward the exit.

'Cyborg? 0015? Is he talking about me?' - Yami

[Hurry and get out of there!] - 001

BOOM!

"What the-?" - Yami

Before Yami could react, he was grabbed by the neck. He felt himself pushed to the wall. Hecould hardly breathe but was able to see who was grabbing him. It was a huge robot with two horns on its head. It was accompanied by two other robots.

[Mou...Hitori...No...boku...]

'Aibou' - Yami

The voice he heard was from the empty soul room of his partner, Yugi.

[Mou Hitori No Yugi!]

[Yugi!]

'Jyonochi...Anzu...' - Yami

"You're going back to your cell, 0015."

"Let...me...GO!" - Yami

Yami crushed the robot's hand. The robot stepped a few steps back as the other three robots. Yami fought against the robots. He leapt up and kicked the robot in the chest. It fell into another robot and they were both destroyed. Another robot tried to grab him, but the boy grabbed the robot by the arm and flung it into another robot, destroying the two of them. The last robot shot at him with its machine gun hand, but the boy jumped up and kicked it in the head, causing it to topple over. Yami was somehow not tired after fighting them.

"Wha...what's going on?" - Yami

[I'll explain later. But now you must get out of there." - 001

"But how?" - Yami

"YAMI!"

Yami looked down the hallway and saw four familiar people.

"Shizuka! Mokuba!" - Yami

"Yami-kun!" - Mokuba

Behind them was Kaiba and Bakura. Yami wasn't really happy but now he knows that they have to work together as a team again.

"Hello again, pharoah." - Bakura

(EPG: By da way, Ryou is good Bakura and Bakura is bad Bakura)

"Nice to see you, again." - Kaiba

In a secret room, Black Ghost watched the group walking toward the exit of his compound. Beside him was one of his new cyborgs.

"Once they meet the other rebels, kill them except 0017 and 0015." - Black Ghost

"Yes, master."

"Go now, 0019." - Black Ghost

"Ok...Now that mysterios voice said to meet at the beach, right?" - Mokuba

The gang was able to get out of the compound, followed 001, and were waiting for the Dolphin.

"For Ra's sake, what are we supposed to look for, a pod of dolphins?" - Bakura

"Hmph. Didn't know that the Tomb Robber listens during class." - Yami

"Watch it, pharoah." - Bakura

"Please you two. Stop fighting!" - Shizuka

The two looked at Shizuka for a few seconds then withdraw their magic.

"I hate to say this, but...she's right." - Yami

"...Fine. We won't fight. UNTIL all this nosense ends." - Bakura

"But who would make us into cyborgs, Nisama?" - Mokuba

It went silent for awhile till Yami spoke up.

"Black Ghost." - Yami

"Who?" - Shizuka

"I heard of those people. Even though I like the way they operate, it just reminds me of what happened when I was a kid." - Bakura

"Who's Black Ghost?" - Shizuka

"An organization who people in the military call the Black Merchant. He starts wars and loves to watch people suffer." - Kaiba

"So why did he begin capturing people?" - Mokuba

"My guess is that they want them to make the wars worse and since he picks different people, it won't matter if you're a famous guy or just a person who wants to their life." - Bakura

Yami was about to add something when the memory of his other friends came up.

"WAIT!" - Yami

"What now, pharoah?" - Bakura

"What happened to Jyonochi, Honda, Anzu, and Yugi when I left." - Yami

The others just kept quiet, not wanting to tell them what happened back at Tokyo.

"Well...ANSWER ME!" - Yami

"Yami, we haven't seen them since that trip to Toyko." - Shizuka

"I hate to say it, pharoah. But, to make the long story short, they're dead." - Bakura

After hearing that, everything went dark around Yami. He never knew that when he left them, part of the group just died. His hand formed a fist as he punched the rock next to him. The rock just broke into pieces.

CRASH! CRUMBLE!

Mokuba and Shizuka just cringed while Kaiba and Bakura just looked away. Yami's eyes were covered in shadow.

"If I ever see Black Ghost's leader, I will rip him apart with my own...bare...hands." - Yami

"Yami..." - Shizuka

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" - Yami

Yami was about to run off when they heard a large explosion.

BOOM!

"EEP!" - Shizuka

"What was that?" - Kaiba

"It came from the compound." - Mokuba

"Let's go!" - Bakura

The boys ran toward the compund while Shizuka stayed with Yami at the beach.

'He has been going through many hard times. Its just hard to see him sad now.' - Shizuka

"Uh...Yami?" - Shizuka

Yami turned around to look at Shizuka. His eyes were full of anger and saddness.

"Yes, Shizuka?" - Yami

"I think we should catch up with theothers." - Shizuka

"...You go, I'll follow later." - Yami

Shizuka began running after the other boys. She shouldn't have left Yami, for he wasn't really alone.

"We can't hold them off." - 004

Outside the compound, 002, 003, 004, 007, and 009 were fighting wave after wave of Black Ghost troops. They were sent there to save the people who were turned into cyborgs.

"We're surrounded!" - 002

"Oh, I knew I should have stayed back at the Dolphin." - 007

About ten yards from them, they could see the Tezzla, ready to start its aching hypnotic waves on them.

"BLUES EYES, WHITE LIGHTNIG!"

Just then, the Tezzla was shot by a huge blast of blue energy. Most of the cyborgs were surprised that the Tezzla was destroyed. When the smoke cleared, on top of the remains of the so-called unstoppable machine, a white dragon with blue eyes was flying over the reckage. On its head was a two boys, one with short brown hair and the other with long black hair. Below the dragon was a white long haired boy and a brown haired girl.

"Who are they?" - 009

"Are they the new cyborgs?" - 003

"Hopefully they didn't destroy that just to kill us!" - 007

The girl and the black haired boy were running toward them while some of the Black Ghost troops were running from them. The others were trying to shoot at them but were tackled away by the new cyborgs. When the girl reached 002, she turned around to see the black haired boy puffing from running.

"I won the race, Moukba!"

"Come on, Shizuka. That guy got in the way." - Mokuba

"What?" - 002

"Oh hi!" - Shizuka

"I'm Mokuba, a.k.a 0016. And that's Shizuka, a.k.a 0018." - Mokuba

"I'm 002." - 002

"Don't you have a real name, punk?"

002 turned and saw the two other people behind him.

"Oh, that's Kaiba, a.k.a 0014 and Ryou, a.k.a 0017." - Shizuka

"That's Bakura, you mortal." - Bakura

"Hey, I thought there were seven of you." - 003

"That's right, maybe the others are on Black Ghost's side?" - 007

"Hey! Yami won't join any evil person!" - Shizuka

"Jeez, sorry to get you mad." - 002

"But we only have five people." - Mokuba

"It'll be four if Yami doesn't catch up." - Bakura

"I wonder who are the other two?" - Shizuka

"We should get to the Dolphin before more of Black Ghost's cronies come back." - 009

"But what about-" - Shizuka

"your friend?"

Everyone looked at a figure standing near the rubble with one other person. It was Black Ghost.

"Who is that?" - Mokuba

"My name is Black Ghost. And your friend, 0015, is with me." - Black Ghost

"Is he alright?" - Serenity

"He is if you come back to your cage." - Black Ghost

"No one can keep me in a cage." - Bakura

"Then face theconsequences!" - Black Ghost

Black Ghost turned around to face a familiar someone.
