At a unknown island, Yami sat on a cliff, alone, thinking about someone.

"Penny for a thought?"

Yami turned around and saw Anzu.

"Yeah whatever..." - Yami

Anzu sat next to him and stared at the sky for a bit.

"Don't worry. We'll get outta here in no time." - Anzu

"You make it sounds so easy, Anzu. But every minute, someone is taken by Black Ghost and turned into a cyborg." - Yami

"Why aren't you going to leave?" - Anzu

"I...can't." - Yami

"Yes, you can!" - Anzu

Yami gave a surprised look at Anzu. He never saw Anzu mad at him at all.

"You don't know how lucky you are. You can leave without a worry. Sure you have a virus in you, but that won't work unless you kill him." - Anzu

"What are you trying ot say?" - Yami

"What I'm trying to say is that...you should leave." - Anzu

Yami just looked at the sea, not seeing Anzu getting really mad. Then she kicked him.

"WELL! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! PERMISSION?!" - Anuz

'Owie...' - Yami

From the compound, Black Ghost watched the two talk to each other.

"This time, the rebels will lose." - Black Ghost

"What?! I lost?!" - 0020

In the rest room of the Dolphin, Jet and Jyonochi were playing Speed. Albert, Mokuba, and Shizuka were watching with enjoyment.

"Boy, Jyonochi. You sure lost your touch." - 0014

"Shut it, Mokuba. And stop snickering you guys! It's not that funny!" - 0021

Just then the alarm went off.

SHUT UP!...Ahem...They ran to the control room.

"We're being pulled to an island, but can't break free." - 008

Yami sat on the cliff still, watching the waves wash on the rocks below. He began to think of his other friends

I figured that was my place))

"You better be back before nightfall." - Kaiba

"Want to play DOL with me, Yami?" - Mokuba

"It's good to be back, Yami!" - Jyonochi

"Why couldn't you stay back in Domino?" - Shizuka

"You're really getting me mad, pharoah." - Bakura

"We'll defeat Black Ghost together!" - Joe

((Now I'm bathed in light

Yami cried a little, still thinking of his friends and what Black Ghost had said earlier.

He slowly walked toward the end of the cliff, then stopped at the edge and saw the rocks on the floor.

'This is the only way..." - Yami

((I saw a world enchanted
Spirits and charms in the air
I always took for granted))

Mana felt a sad sensasion and looked far. She saw him, Yami.

'Ouji! You're ok." - 0022

((I was the only one there

Brighter than any I've known))

Then she saw Yami step off the cliff.

"Ouji!" - 0022

"Mana what's the matter?" - 008

"0015 just walked off the cliff just ahead!" - 003

Yami was slowly plummeting to his death. He didn't know what else to do.

Then infront of him was a bright light. (MitoSanu: This isn't death...)

From the light, Mana appeared infront of him. He was surprised.

Yami, why are you doing this? Is it me? Did I do something...wrong? - Mana

It's not you....it's me. - Yami

If I live and come back with you, everyone will just get hurt. More importantly, you might die again. I can't let that happen again. - Yami

Mana hugged him closly.

"You don't have to worry about me. I'll be fine. Let's go back. Together." - Mana

Spread beneath my willow tree))

Mana and Yami began to float back to the top of the cliff, meeting up with Black Ghost.

"You know she'll die again." - Black Ghost

Mana was about to step forward, but Yami stepped forward.

"I'll take you on!" - Yami

"But...Yami!" - Mana

"I have to protect the ones I love, even you. If I lose, just promise not to forget me, when I join back with him." - Yami
