`Can I look now?' Krad solicited, smiling as he held Sephiroth's hands.

`No, not yet.' Sephiroth gently led Krad into the town of Costa Del Sol.

`Aw, come on, Seph! This is killing me here!' Krad folded his arms across his chest, pouting like a child.

Sephiroth chuckled, kissing the back of Krad's head. `Don't pout like that, Krad. People will start to think of you as a child. Ooh, watch your step.' Sephiroth led Krad down the stairs, to the beach. He removed his hands from Krad's eyes.

Krad blinked his eyes a few times, allowing them to adjust to the light. It was blinding, the sun reflecting off the white sand. `Sephy, it's beautiful! And so warm.'

Sephiroth smiled, taking a step back to let Krad do as he wished. He watched the blond remove his shoes and run to the water's edge. He glanced to his right when someone stood adjacent to him. `Is something wrong, Vincent?'

`Just stopped by to let you know that the reservations at the inn have been made.' Vincent glanced at Krad. `You may want to cut down on his sugar intake as well, otherwise he will get to sleep tonight.'

Sephiroth frowned, his eyes following Vincent. Shaking his head, he went back to looking over Krad, surprised to see the blond standing before him. `What's wrong, Sephy?'

`Nothing. Go back to playing.' Sephiroth hadn't meant for his words to come out so harshly, and didn't even notice, until a flicker of hurt flashed in Krad's golden depths.

Krad smiled. `Ok.' He bounded off towards the water again, stopping just before the tide touched his feet.

Staring out across the vast stretch of aquamarine, Krad allowed himself to fall into his own thoughts. He wasn't sure if he had done something to anger Sephiroth, and was frightened to ask in case it spiked Sephiroth's anger again. He chewed his lower lip. He had noticed Sephiroth's change of mood when he returned home, three months ago. A week after that, the arguments began.

While out in public, and with the others, they put on the “perfectly happy couple” routine, Krad was positive they all saw right through it. He could remember the shocked whispers coming from the other side of the door, as he and Sephiroth shouted at each other. After that, they made sure to argue when the others were not around.

Lowering his eyes to watch the water lap at the sand, Krad sighed. Why won't you just talk to me, Sephiroth? What are you hiding? Krad raised his eyes to stare at the cloudless blue sky.

`Krad! It's time to go in!'

Krad looked over his shoulder at Sephiroth, who was motioning him over. With a smile, Krad ran to his lover. `What's for dinner, Sephy?'

Sephiroth shook his head. `You are like a bottomless pit at times, Krad. Maybe we'll got to the bar and have a meal there.'

Krad bit his lower lip. `A-are you going to be drinking?'

Sephiroth frowned slightly. `Maybe a little. Why?'

`Oh, um, I think I'll just stay in tonight, if that's alright?' Without waiting for an answer, Krad dashed up the stairs and into the inn. `Which room am I staying in?'

Vincent looked up from the book he was reading, as he sat beneath the banister, while Cid and Cloud played pool. `The one at the end.'

Krad ran to the room, closing the door behind himself. He didn't really want to be around when Sephiroth was drunk, or even tipsy. No, it would be best if he just stayed in the room until Sephiroth had slept it off. Or I could go for a walk on the beach with Cloud. Chewing his lip as he paced the length of the room, Krad jumped when the bedroom door opened.

`I could have been naked in here!' Krad turned to glare at the person who just invited themselves into the room. `Oh, sorry.'

Sephiroth smirked. `You haven't got anything I haven't seen before, Krad.' He beckoned to his lover, who moved cautiously towards him. `Why wont you join us?'

`Um…' Krad let his voice trail off.

`Please forgive me for interrupting,' Cloud said, as he sat behind Sephiroth, `But Krad and I were going out tonight. Krad wants to get you something special for your birthday.'

Krad's eyes widened. `You weren't meant to tell him that!'

Sephiroth chortled a little. `Judging by that blush, Krad, I would say that you've got something good in mind?'

Krad's blush deepened. `U-um, may-be.' Krad glanced at Cloud, who just shrugged.

Sephiroth smiled. `Alright, see you when we get back.' He kissed Krad on the forehead, and left the room.

Krad looked at Cloud, smiling. `Thanks for that.'

`Not a problem.' Cloud lowered his eyes in thought. `But there is something all of us are curious about - '

`If Seph and I are fighting?' Krad sighed, lowering his head. `I think I may have done something to anger him, but I cant be sure.'

Cloud closed the door to the room, and walked over to Krad. `You're afraid to ask him, aren't you?'

Krad laid down on the middle bed of three. `Yes, I am. But, he's-he's also been looking at…'

Cloud's eyes widened slightly. `I thought it was only me who noticed it.'

`Do you…Do you think he's losing interest in me?' Krad bit his lower lip, as he looked at Cloud.

`…I don't know.' Cloud sat on the edge of the bed that Krad was laying on.

`I think he is. I mean, it's not like it isn't unnatural…Just prolonged.'

`If you know he's been looking at me sexually, why do you still keep your eyes to yourself? If he is summing me up to a little something on the side, perhaps you should give him a taste of his own medicine.' Cloud laid a hand on Krad's shoulder.

`Be-because I haven't lost interest. Do you suppose - ' Krad was cut off as Sephiroth walked back into the room.

Sephiroth narrowed his eyes at Cloud, yet couldn't hide the lust. `I wouldn't think of doing anything to him, Cloud. If you do, I'll make sure you live to regret it.' Sephiroth picked his coat up, and left the room again, closing the door harshly.

Krad looked at Cloud. `Do you suppose we mistook our love for interest?'

Cloud shrugged. `To be honest, Krad, you shouldn't even be talking to me about this sort of thing. My love life revolves around one night stands. I think you should talk to Sephiroth about this. Anyway, are we going shopping or what?'

Krad smiled, shaking his head. Cloud could always bring a smile to his face, no matter what. `Sure. Give me a few minutes to get dressed.'

When Krad was off the bed, Cloud laid on it, staring at the ceiling. He remembered his first time with Sephiroth. But they weren't alone. Sephiroth's lover, Zack had joined them as well. Not that Cloud had complained. Zack was undoubtedly beautiful, even if he did speak at great length, whether it was required or not.

It was after that night that Zack had been called out on a mission by Vincent, and didn't return. Why am I even thinking about this stuff? It's none of my business. With a sigh, Cloud sat up, pinching the bridge of his nose. Why does everyone see me as a shrink?

`Ready, Cloud?'

Cloud looked over at the smiling blond, who was standing at the door. `Yeah.'

Standing from the bed, and straightening his clothes, Cloud joined Krad at the door, and both blonds left the room; Krad closing the door. They then entered the, still, lively town. Cloud watched as Krad's eyes lit up.

`This place is beautiful at night! Come on, Cloud!' Taking the spike haired blond's hand, Krad ran to a shop, looking through the front window.

Cloud pressed his lips to Krad's ear. `I think you should try that one. You'd look hot in that.' Cloud teasingly nipped Krad's lobe.

Krad gasped, playfully swatting Cloud away. `It's not my color.' Krad looked at the other clothing displays in the window. `Lets go see what else they have!'

Cloud allowed himself to be dragged into the store. Once inside, Cloud's hand was released, and his glowing eyes followed Krad's every move. The way he went from rack to rack. Pulling up pieces of clothing, putting them back again. He frowned when Krad stared at a pair of leather pants. He joined the long haired blond.

`What's wrong?' Cloud looked the pants over. The front was littered in silver chains.

`Vincent would look good in these,' Krad muttered, almost to himself.

`Vincent?' Cloud was confused now. Didn't Krad say, only ten minutes ago, that he hadn't lost interest in Sephiroth? Shut up, mind! You're giving me a headache. You are a headache.

Krad shook his head. `It's nothing. I just thought that Vincent would look good in those.' Krad put the pants back, then looked at Cloud. `Is everything alright?'

`Yeah. Just got a headache.'

Krad took Cloud's arm. `Well, come on. Back to the inn.'

Cloud shook his head. `No, I'll be fine.'

`Cloud, you're going back to the inn, and that's final!' Krad dragged Cloud out of the store. `Besides, I can resume shopping on my own.'

`You are not going to be walking around Costa Del Sol on your own!' Cloud declared, pulling his arm free.

Krad stopped, turned and pouted at Cloud. `You sound just like Sephiroth! “Don't this, don't do that. You're not allowed to do this, you're not allowed to do that”! It's infuriating!'

`We're only concerned about you. You haven't the experience, nor the skill to defend yourself.' Cloud's eyes hardened, letting Krad know he would be budged.

`Cloud?'

`What, Vincent? We're in the middle of an argument here!' Both blonds glared at the man that just joined them.

Not phased by the death glares, Vincent continued, `Sephiroth wants to see you.'

Krad lowered his head and turned it away. `I'll see you tomorrow night then…If you're able to walk.' Krad spun around, his long braid whipping Cloud and Vincent.

With a sigh, Cloud walked past Vincent. `Stay with him. Don't let him out. Keep him away from the sugar, and all sharp, shiny objects. If possible, try to talk to him.' Cloud made his way to the bar.

Vincent's eyes followed Cloud, before shaking his head and going back to the inn. If Cloud had asked him to watch over Krad, then he will.

Alright, that's chapter one. Here's a sneak at chapter two!

Sephiroth's eyes widened. “When did you get here?”
A friendly smile came over his lips. “Is that the kind of greeting you give out now?”
Sephiroth growled. “I wouldn't push your luck.”
“Come, now, Sephy! Don't hurt me like…There's someone else, isn't there?”
“You should have known there was going to be someone else after you, Zack.”
~
Krad's eyes widened, and Vincent knew what he was thinking. `H-how long have you been back?'
`Long enough.' Vincent stood at the edge of the bed, not wanting to cause anymore stress.
`D-did you he-hear anything?' Krad chewed his lower lip nervously, making Vincent's eyes soften slightly.
`All of it.'
`A-all of what?'
Vincent's eyes hardened again. `All of Sephiroth raping you.'

I'll get the second chapter up as soon as possible! Please leave a review! ^^ Ciao.
