D. N. Angel Fan Fiction ❯ Eh ❯ Gone and going bad ( Chapter 3 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

If you're reading this, then you're reading the thoughts of a thirteen year old girl. So, I know, I can tell just tell, that right now you're thinking, “She's a kid and she's writing this?” Well, heads up, `cause that is exactly what you will say at the end of this book. I want you to think, for just one second, `Who is God?' and I'll tell you. He's a nobody. Not like that, I mean, he's just like us. I once heard a song that said, “What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us?” Well, after that, I saw a movie. The big man in office, he said, “I believe in God. I know that all prayers he hears, even if that means, that the answers is no.” It's true, sometimes…that's the only answer, and then the only question is never “Why not?” the proper question or response is, “Yeah, you're right.” Okay, I know. I'm just going on. But this has a point to it, I hope anyway.

God. Dieu. Gott. Deus. Dios. Dio. No matter who you are or what you speak, every word from `God' to `Dio' means the same thing. God. And what does `God' mean? Well, it means this, religion the being believed in monotheistic religions such as Judaism, Islam, and Christianity to be the all-powerful all-knowing creator of the universe, worshiped as the only god. Or this, Christianity one supreme being worshiped by Christians in the form of three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Or even this, the entire group of supernatural beings viewed as deciding human fate. But to me, it means this, someone, who is in fact `human' he's everywhere, and yet, we never know, that every time we get out of a tight time, he's there.

I read a poem once. This guy is walking on the beach with God and he's whole life is going before his eyes. And every time something bad happens, there's only his footprint. And when the dream ends his asks God, “Why is it you weren't with me when every bad thing happened in my life?” and God tells him, “Because, I carried you through those times.” That's why, when you pray, I know he can hear us. Even if we can't see him, and even if we can't feel him, you just…know he's there. Well, I do anyway.

My mother, or mommy, yeah, go ahead and laugh, thirteen and you still you call your mother that, well whatever. She once asked me, “If you could ask God one question, what would it be?” Well, I don't know. I don't know at this point, what I should ask, what I should do, or even, when I get older, what the hell I want to be. If my mommy saw this then she would probably slap me in the mouth for using such words, but at this point, I just have to talk to someone. So, I guess it'll have to be you. You don't know me, and I don't know you. I guess that's a good thing. No formalities. I always did hate those things.

Well, I guess now you're thinking, `What would I ask him?' I don't want to sound mean when I say this, so if your religion doesn't believe in God then you'll know what I mean, but if it does, then don't take this the wrong way. But, what if God, just sometimes can't say `yes' or `no' to someone's prayer? I don't know anymore. Maybe, someone can answer me, someday. But, I have to go. So, I'll see you soon, okay? Bye the way, I have another question for you.

Do you believe in God?

Daisuke looked at the odd painting of a girl, who's eyes where just blank and hollow although they where like the dawn. The title of the art work was, God. He looked at it and for some odd reason, the way the girls dress, such a deep crimson and her long pure white hair just fell around her face and body, it made it seem…real. Her skin was a nice light tan as well. Dark laughed in his head and told him, “Take it easy! We ARE stealing her tonight you know. But still, I wonder why, they call this work of art `God'?” At that time, Satoshi, had been behind him and said, “They called her `God' because as a child, she couldn't speak and yet she could sing. And when she did, everyone was at peace. Their was no fighting or anything. Her older brother drew her and some say, he sealed her soul into the painting. Her real name was Kalulu. And…I won't try to stop you.” Daisuke looked at him in wonder.

He looked down at him and said, “It's because, my clan didn't make her, so I have no reason to defend her. Good luck though.” And with that he walked off. Dark scoffed and said, “Huh. So, if he didn't make her, then who the hell did?” Daisuke looked at the name of the artist and said, “They only have here, A.S. That's it, no one else.” Daisuke heard a voice whisper, Do you believe in God? He looked around and shook his head and said, “Let's go.” And with he walked out of the museum as it closed. But out of the painting came the girl and she looked after him. She smiled and said, “Let's see how far I can this little game…Phantom Thief.” She giggled and slid out of her painting onto the ground. She walked off after him.

Hi! Long time no see. Well, I guess you're here for a reason huh? Okay. Today, it was odd you know, I had the feeling that someone, or something was watching me. I think I'm going crazy! But then again, who's sane anymore? I got to thinking, and I mean really hard, and it hit me! Not really. But…I kept wonder what they hell my name would be in Japan, `cuzz I'm going there in a few weeks. And my name, in Japan or Asia I don't know anymore, means. Take a guess! Come on, guess! Fine be that way. My name in Japan would be, K-A-L-U-L-U. Kalulu. It means something along the lines of, `Divine power' or `Great Gift' Cool huh? Well, I'll talk to you later, but right now…I have to go. I just hope, I don't run into trouble in Japan. I really don't. Wish me luck! Oh! That reminds me, do you know…who Dark really is? I do, I think anyway. Just one more thing….

Can you exist without reality?
