Chapter one

-Going -

“Aww but it looks stupid!” Daisuke whined, his lips holding a full innocent pout, turning his small frame around to examine more of him self, now looking into his reflection of the expensive mirror, it had golden frames that shimmered as the light bounced from them and attached to the back were out stretched angel wings. He lifted his arms up to look at his low cut black shirt. It was like a vest that ended at his navel, exposing well toned out muscle though, not to toned, and instead of buckles it was long stringy like straps that didn't tie all the way, hinting at the boy's upper body, the straps were fastened by silver chains. Daisuke groaned once more and looked at his jeans, they were faded but tight to his hips and fit his legs well up more, the pants held a leather-studded belt.

“It looks fine…Daisuke.” chuckled a well-known commander again eyeing his friend and roommate with his pale orbs and resting his fingers on his gleaming glasses. It had been two years since the Dark and Krad incident and Satoshi had slowly learned to show his emotion again, though it was still a long way to a full recovery but he was doing just fine, having Daisuke to help him trust. Daisuke sighed and ran a hand threw his bright crimson hair, and put a cheery smile on to his best friend. “You sure, I mean this party is where every one is going to be tonight…” Daisuke groaned again turning and continued to look in the mirror, lifting his hands to his face and poking at his cheeks. His face showing pure determination.

Satoshi only gave a slight sound of amusement and leaned against the wall, his slim back pressing to the cold material, silently watching Daisuke fix up, he smiled again and pushed his glasses up his nose. The young commander was wearing a black and white striped shirt that fitted tightly to his body and as the style was punk, it was ripped in a few places that looked like claw marks to expose some of his pale soft skin. His pants were tight to his long legs and made of black leather that had chains hanging from them. “Aww Satoshi-kuuun!” the cheery boy yapped as he stopped looking in the mirror, with a teasing glare in his brightly colored eyes. “You look so cuuuute.” Daisuke had to laugh when Satoshi's eye twitched in irritation, the chains on Daiskue's neck starting to jingle as his laughing when on. Satoshi then grinned, it was kind of' freaky, the grin inched up his face and he stringed his back up from the wall and shoved his hands in his pockets, advancing closer and closer to Daisuke.

He went up behind the laughing boy and wrapped his long arms around his waist the two sixteen year-old boys in an embrace as the laughing ceased. Daisuke flushed red quickly, like he always did and could feel the comforting warmth pressed tightly to his back, the hands tightening around his hips. “So, am I cute enough for you to kiss?” Daisuke was still and his arms pressed to his side, his forearms only inched the bare flesh of Satoshi's. Satoshi was always like this; he was clever and was good at teasing back at people. Yes. Daisuke knew that Satoshi loved him, but that wasn't a mind blower, it was understandable since Daisuke was pretty much the only person Satoshi had ever trusted, plus that, he was his first friend with him and also, he saved him from the monster... Daisuke also knew that Satoshi understood that he was still in love with Riku. “Satoshi-kuunn…we have to..go-

He was cut off as hot breath was breathed into his ear, and his dark flush reddened, strands of his bright hair fluttered as the contact was made. “So, I'm not am I?” the warmth made Daisuke shudder slightly, he could tell Satoshi was grinning and he pried Satoshi's arms off his bare stomach, feeling the cold air now get to it “No…um…I meant you look cool!” he said in a shaky voice, staring at the commander, who was still grinning. Crap. He did it AGAIN! Satoshi won…he wanted to be complemented on being `cool' not cute. Slowly getting this Daisuke smacked his forehead, and sighed, his red pools closed. “You got me again…” he said in a low tone, opening his happy eyes. “I know.” Was all that came from the cool commander?

“Come on Daisuke, we'll be late.” Satoshi said grasping his keys off a wooden desk his fingers dragging along slowly as he headed for the front door. “Now we wouldn't like Riku to be mad at you now, would we?” Satoshi asked with yet another grin placed on his lips, but this grin didn't seemed amused, he listened to Daisuke scoff a chuckle…picking up that his small Daisuke wasn't really paying attention again. His glasses gleaming as the light from the front door hit them and the breeze started to fiddle with his elegant pale hair. He continued to spread the door wide and walk out the door smoothly.

Daisuke seemed to snap out of his daze and turn quickly on his heels. “Ooops!” he yelled stomping to catch up as Satoshi already had his motorbike running and had his coat on, the loud engine ringing in his ears. Daisuke ran out side and grasped a black helmet and his coat that Satoshi had handed him. He placed the helmet on his head and hurriedly slipped his arms in the leather coat then climbed on the back of the bike and held on to Satoshi's shoulders. Satoshi smiled and rung his hands on the handles, the engine picking up in noise. “Ready?” he yelled over his shoulders only half looking at Daisuke who nodded. Daisuke really never liked the motorbike but he trusted Satoshi completely. With that the commander kicked off the stand and road off into the long street.

The wind was nice, and the roads weren't that bad as the entered into the highway. The yellow lines on the pavement moving quickly as they gained speed Daisuke self concisely had moved his hands down to Satoshi's waist and had rested his head on the lean back, looking to the traffic in the right of the lane. People sometimes would stare, and giggle or make `Aww' faces when they were on the motorbike together, but Daisuke didn't really care. The sun was slowly setting to dusk, the light from the heated sun bouncing off all the metals.

Daisuke sighed as the engine vibrated when it came to a stop; it tickled his cheek from inside the helmet as the matter drifted across his face. They were here at last. Satoshi turned the key and the sound came to a stop. He straightened out his back and took off his helmet, his pale bright hair falling lightly. Daisuke pulled his arms away from Satoshi's waist and lifted them to pull off his own helmet. Satoshi slipped his keys in his black-leathered coat and hopped off the bike his heels clicking on the pavement as he started to walk towards the door. “Hey Satoshi waiiit!” yelled the small red head as his leg was caught and still hanging over the other side of the motorcycle.

Satoshi only grinned and stopped in his tracks. The music pulsing loudly from the inside of the doors, the vibrations could even be felt from the cold pavement as Daisuke ran up to his best friend. “Ug, Don't do that Satoshiiii.” He whined his bright orbs playful like as Satoshi turned around and smiled. “So sorry, Daisuke.” Satoshi lifted his arm to fix Daisuke's hair, his fingers parting the soft strands of hair, Daisuke's one eye closed as he looked up to his friend, he looked so elegant, and well put together…he only smiled back as the music in the background continued to pulse the sun setting lower into the innocent sky. Satoshi pulled away, and dropped his hand to shove in his pockets. “Shall we enter?” he questioned and inclined his head as the cheery boy bounced up from his daze, the blush from his cute face fading. “Yah!”
