Chapter 16:

White Day

A whole month has pasted since Valentines Day, and now, it was White Day. Everyone knows that on White Day, you gives gifts to those who gave you gifts on Valentines Day, and now Daisuke was sitting with Riku, under a tree, thinking about what he was going to be giving to Riku. “Next to Valentines Day and Christmas, White Day is one of my favorite holidays of the year!”

“Whoopee,” Daisuke slouched against the tree, “I know.”

What he was really thinking about was Satoshi. Why? He couldn't really say. All he knew was that he had this urging feeling to give Satoshi something even though Satoshi really didn't give Daisuke much of anything on Valentines Day. “It has been a whole month since Satoshi told me he loved me,” Daisuke suddenly felt his entire face heat up.

“Daisuke, you're really red,” commented Riku.

“UH! It's because of you,” Daisuke said quickly, “You're just so beautiful, but today, you're even more beautiful than usually,” “That was so lame! She couldn't fall for that!”

“You really think so?!” “I can't believe she fell for it!”

“Um, of course!” “Just smile and lie!”

Riku smiled and decided to rest her head on Daisuke's shoulder. Just then, at a distance, Satoshi was walking by with Risa at his side. “I think they've been dating for about a month now,” said Riku.

Daisuke eyes followed Satoshi as he walked across the park, but he didn't make any other gestures that made it seem that he wanted to chase after Satoshi, though he knew his body was struggling against the temptation to. “A month? Do you think their relationship will last?”

“I hope so. I don't want my sister to end up with another girl. Can you imagine how I would feel?”

“Wait?! You mean Risa is…”

“She told me she's bi, but I know she's totally crooked. She's as straight as a horseshoe. So I don't even know what she's doing with Satoshi. She probably pities him because he has no one else.”

“Or maybe it's the other way around,” Daisuke thought to himself, “Maybe he pities her. If she's really homosexual like Riku says, then she probably has a hard time finding a date too, kind of like Satoshi. Maybe they are with each other because they want to comfort one another.”

Daisuke got up to stretch, and completely forgot about Riku on his shoulder, so she fell over and bumped her head on the ground, “Ouch!”

“Sorry, Riku!”

He bent down and began to rub her head, but it wasn't doing anything. “It's ok,” Riku shoved Daisuke's hands away.

She lied on her back, and Daisuke stared off in the direction that Satoshi had gone, “It has been like this for a whole month already. They have been seeing each other for a whole month. He tells me he loves me, but he turns around and starts a relationship with her! Does he even think of how that has affected me? Does he even realize how I feel?”

I doubt it. How is he suppose to take you into account if you never tell him anything? asked Dark.

“Well… I can't… not yet at least…”

Then when do you plan on doing so? They've been seeing each other for a whole month already. Do you really want them to keep on getting closer and closer until there is no longer any room for you?

Confused by his emotions, restricted by his pride, and torn between morality and reality, Daisuke was in a complete state of dilemma in determining what would really justify his impending action. But before Daisuke could come to a conclusion, the bell rung, and he cursed under his breath as he headed towards class. Thank God there was no school tomorrow.

After Daisuke had finished his last course for the day, he had lost Riku, finally, and didn't plan on running into her again. He made up his mind to take a new route out of the college than he usually does. But along the way, he accidentally ended up in front of Satoshi's final course for the day when they were just letting out. “Should I wait?”

No, runaway!

“Maybe I should… or not… He may ask what I am doing here… I'll just say it was a coincidence… would he fall for that? No, he's Satoshi Hikari! He would never fall for that! Oh my god! He's coming!”

The first thing that crossed Satoshi's mind as soon as he stepped out of the class was what the heck was Daisuke doing here? He stepped aside from the rushing crowd as they poured out of the class in order to talk to Daisuke, “Should I ask why you are here?” Satoshi started, “Or am I just jumping to the conclusion that you are here to see me?”

“Umm…”

“You're waiting for someone else, right? Not me,” Satoshi allowed a moment to pass for Daisuke to give an answer, but he never did, “I'll see you later,” Satoshi adjusted his backpack on his shoulder before he began to walk away.

“Wait!” Daisuke called after him.

Satoshi turned around and raised a brow. He wanted to believe that Daisuke had been waiting for him, but he knew that was very unlike Daisuke. “What are you doing later this evening?” Daisuke asked softly.

“I have work.”

“Oh…,” whatever hope Daisuke had in spending some time with Satoshi vanished. “Of course he's busy! Why even ask?! It's White Day! This is the day when all the couples take off; making them put singles like Satoshi on duty!”

“But,” Satoshi started, “If you want to do something later this evening…,” Satoshi wasn't sure how he could say this without making it seem suggestive, “We could do something special.”

Special?!” Daisuke's mind began to replay vivid reminiscences of that fateful night, “You mean when you get home?”

“If it isn't too late.”

If what isn't too late?” Daisuke began to blush.

You baka! Shouted Dark, He's talking the timing being late! Not about that!

“Well I'm sorry if he sounds suggestive!”

“That would be nice,” Daisuke couldn't understand how just talking to Satoshi was making his nervous. “What did you have in mind?”

“To be honest, nothing. Why don't you decide?”

“Umm…,” Daisuke's eyes searched around the halls as if the answer was painted somewhere on them, “We could have a late dinner I guess,” “Now it sounds like I want to go on a date with him!” “Or we could go out to see a movie.”

“The theaters aren't safe at night. Why don't you give it some thought and tell me later?” Satoshi waved his hand, “I have to get to work now. I'll see you later,” with that said, Satoshi left.

What do you really want to do with him? Asked Dark.

“I… I think I just want to be by his side,” Daisuke raised his hands to cover his cheeks, “I can't believe how badly I want to be with him. Maybe we could just sit on the couch, drinking hot chocolate? Or… maybe I can relax against his chest with his arm around my shoulders. Maybe we'll watch a romance movie to set the mood…”

Daisuke, Satoshi thinks you hate him. How do you think he's going to react to all of that?

“We'll see.”

Later, around four in the afternoon, Daisuke found himself walking by a candy shop. He stopped for a brief moment to look through the windows. Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to go inside and have a better look? Asked Dark.

“Maybe I'll just take a look,” Daisuke opened the door and walked in. From the outside, it didn't look busy, but from the inside, the place was swarming with guys trying to find chocolates for their partners. “Dark, do you really think Satoshi likes sweets?”

He likes you well enough, Dark forced Daisuke to remember past events.

Daisuke quickly tried to think of something else, but then someone came up to him and asked, “Can I help you, young man?”

Daisuke looked up to see a little old lady looking down at him, “We have some new flavors that are quite tasty and not very expensive. Are you interested?”

“Umm…,” Daisuke dug into his pocket to see how much yen he hand, “I can't afford anything over ten thousand yen.”

“Then maybe you'll like this,” the old lady pulled out a white shaped heart box, “It has an assortment of our most popular chocolates, and it's on sale today.”

“This is just what I was looking for!” “Yes! Thank you so much!”

Before Daisuke knew it, he was buying the chocolate box and then walking out of the store with a huge smile on his face. So, how do you plan on giving that to Satoshi without him taking it the wrong way? Asked Dark.

“I don't know, and I don't care! I am happy right now, so let me be!”

Once Daisuke got home, he checked the answering machine for messages, and found that Riku had left a total of twenty three messages. For the next few minutes, Daisuke spent it erasing each and every one of them until he came to one that wasn't Riku's, “Satoshi!”

Daisuke played the message, “Hey, Niwa, I'm sorry. I'll be home a little later than I thought today. Don't wait up, bye.”

Daisuke couldn't believe it. Satoshi wasn't going to be coming home anytime soon. “Damn it!” Daisuke punched the table. Why was he so upset? He couldn't understand how he had come to like Satoshi enough to wish he was with him right now. It made his body shivers and his heart throb. “He better be working and not with Risa,” Daisuke whispered to himself in a threatening tone.

Satoshi was indeed at work. He was on a car chase. Some man had knocked some old lady out while she tried to get into her car, and then he drove off with it. A couple witnessed the act, and called for the police immediately. He was getting reports that the car was heading east on Takana St. Satoshi had already blocked off all other streets that he could have turned into, and now they had set a trap. They had set prongs onto the streets to damage the tires and stop the car. All they had to do now was wait as the car came their way. Satoshi was standing at the edge when a fellow police officer came up to him, “Commander, wouldn't it just be easier if you used the angel?”

“And cause a racket. No. We'll handle this as any police unit would.”

Suddenly, the car was in sight, but what was this? The car stopped, and the man got out of the car with a child in his arms. She was unconscious, or, at least that was what everyone was assuming. The man held a gun to her head and shouted out, “If anyone follows, I'll shot.”

The man took off running without anyone to stop him, and Satoshi cursed under his breath, “This was going to be a very long night.”

“Commander?” The unit looked to Satoshi for further orders.

“I'll take care of this.”

Satoshi ran after the man, and as he did, he could feel Krad emerging from within. Satoshi turned a corner, and just as the man spotted Satoshi, Krad sprang out at him. All that could be heard were excruciating cries of help. Within the next hour or so, Satoshi had brought the man back in his arms. He was limps and barely alive. “Arrest him,” Satoshi ordered as he handed the man to a fellow cop.

“Satoshi!” Risa cried as she suddenly came out from behind the shadows, “That was amazing! You handled it all by yourself!”

He couldn't really tell her that it was Krad made the man cry out for mercy. “Yes…”

Suddenly, Risa jumped up and gave Satoshi a peck on his cheek. “I think Daisuke's waiting eagerly for your return,” Risa winked. I saw him earlier. He was in the candy shop, and I know he wasn't buying anything for Riku. It's her turn to buy him something.”

Satoshi blushed. “Would he really do something like that for me?”

“You never know.”

(Daisuke's POV)

I woke up panting, sweating, and shaking in the darkness of the night. “That was the worst nightmare ever.”

I searched for Dark in my mind, but he was dead asleep. “He's never there when I need him,” I grumbled.

Nevertheless, I needed to wash off my face. I swung my feet over the edge of the bed and searched for my slippers, but they weren't there. “Strange. I know that I placed them somewhere around here earlier.”

I pressed my left foot to the cold floor and additional shivers ran up my spin. I then pressed my right foot to the floor and arose. “How does this place manage to get so cold?”

I walked down the hall and into the bathroom where I rinsed my face off and then dried it. It wasn't until I came out of the bathroom that I felt a sense of loneliness. Something in the apartment wasn't right. “Is Hikari here?”

I walked into his office where he had been sleeping since I moved in, but he wasn't there. “Satoshi? Where is he?”

I looked at the clock on his desk. It read midnight. “Where could he be so late at night? Is he still at work?”

I wondered into the living room and sat on the couch. I couldn't sleep without Satoshi being somewhere in the apartment, otherwise I felt… alone? “Why alone?”

I held my folded legs in my arms and rocked myself back and forth for comfort. “Satoshi…,” I whispered to myself.

I closed my eyes and tried to imagine a picturesque image of Satoshi. An image of him bathing in sunlight… “What am I thinking?” I bit my lower lip and tried to visualize him looking at me, “There's gotta be something wrong with me,” I felt swoon and fell back onto the couch while I wrapped my arms around my waist, “Satoshi holding me…,” I found myself frustrated with just simple inculcated images of Satoshi. There was this anxiety to elicit something in Satoshi that would appease his lust and mine. “Lust?” My eyes shot open, “There is definitely something wrong with me.”

I moved my middle and index finger over my lips. I tried to recover the memories of Satoshi kissing me. “It's been months,” I whispered to myself, “He hasn't kissed me that way for months,” I turned over into a fetus position with my fingers still brushing my lips. “Satoshi Hikari… Daisuke Hikari…,” it didn't sound too bad.

Suddenly, the door swung open, and a faint scent of cologne penetrated my nose. I hoisted myself and looked over the couch to see Satoshi removing his coat. He was still wearing his uniform. I sat up and stared at him intentionally. He didn't seem to notice me while he locked the door until he turned around. He stared for a second as if trying to make out what image stood in the dark. “Yes. Believe it or not, but I'm still awake.”

“What are you doing up at this hour?” he asked while loosening his tie.

Waiting for you,” I wanted to say. “Couldn't sleep,” I said instead, “I had a nightmare,” this was ridiculous. I sounded like a little kid.

“A nightmare?” he raised a brow, “Aren't you a little old to be disturbed by foul dreams?”

I blushed, “Nightmares are rare occurrences for me.”

He approached the couch and leaned against its arm, “There's nothing to be afraid of,” he looked down at me. There was something implausibly sexy about the way his uniform looked on him. “At least you know that a bad dream will always come to an end. Reality is the real nightmare, because its end is extended.”

As I nodded, more images of his body fluttered into my mind. I blushed for a moment as I allowed myself to examine his face, and that's when I spotted a glossy kiss mark on his cheek. “He was with someone!” “Hikari, where were you?”

“It's none of your business,” he said.

“I always tell you where I've been every time I come home.” “Home? Did I just call his place home?”

“That's because I'm responsible for you.”

“Were you with someone?” I asked.

“What makes you think that?”

I jumped up, grasped a hold of his shoulder, and leaned in towards his neck. As Satoshi tensed under my grip, I breathed in the faint scent of perfume. “You were with someone else,” I said angrily, “I can smell it.”

“Dog,” he whispered.

“There's even a glossy kiss mark on your cheek.”

“It doesn't matter,” he tried to push me away, but I held on tighter.

“Yes it does!” I exclaimed, “Because you're supposed to be faithful to me!”

“Faithful?” Satoshi repeated, “To you? Since when was my faithfulness towards you important? You've never been faithful to me.”

We sounded like a married couple quarreling over unfaithfulness. “That's because I'm Riku's boyfriend. I owe you nothing,” that was a pathetic defense attempt.

“Like so. I am Risa's boyfriend.”

“Her again?! You were with her?” “So now I bet she is more important then I am.”

“Niwa-”

I pushed him away and sat back down on the couch, “I'm not enough for you, am I?”

His eyes widened, “What do you mean by that? You were never mine to claim.”

“Regardless, you've already claimed my body!”

“And you've claimed my heart,” his hand reached out to me, but I slapped it away, “It doesn't matter how many people I date when in the end, I still love you.”

“Then why do you continue to date others?” I asked.

“Because my love isn't wanted here,” he came around the couch and stood by my side, “It's very hard to continue through life when there is no one that cares that you even exist. Your life is enviable. You have a loving family. Something I may have once had. You have friends who love you. Something I don't have time for. You have a girlfriend that loves you, and yet you aren't satisfied? You are obdurate,” he said.

He stared into my eyes and I felt my body growing hot with desires. “I need to get away.” I was about to make my exit, but Satoshi confined me by tenaciously holding my shoulder down, and then he mounted my hips. “Hikari?”

I knew that he knows how frail my body is at this time, but that didn't stop him from closing the distance between us, and soon his forehead was resting against mine. His eyes looking down into mine. “Was he drunk? No…Those serene eyes didn't belong to a man who was wasted on alcohol, but to someone who was fully aware of what he was doing.”

“Is Krad awake?” I asked.

“No,” he simply said, “Is Dark?”

“No,” I whispered, “I want to kiss him.”

I swiftly tried to catch his lips with my own, but he suddenly turned his head and I found myself kissing over that glossy kiss mark. “Finally coming on your own?” he asked.

I backed down and crossed my arms. “You missed,” he teased.

I didn't know whether to be embarrassed or disappointed, but I was determined. “But why?”

“If you want something, Niwa, don't hesitate to ask,” he brushed his lips against mine as if trying to elicit something and my entire body tensed. Then, he backed away leaving me frustrated and with the exigency of having him. “Stop teasing,” I whispered.

“I wasn't teasing,” he suddenly said. I didn't intend for him to hear that.

“This is teasing,” he leaned in again and I braced myself as he fluttered kisses over my forehead then moved down along my right cheek, over my chin, and back up my left cheek while completely avoiding my lips.

“Nn…,” I was almost desperate enough to demand that he kiss my lips.

I wanted to move my arms around his shoulders, but he stopped me, “I'm not done yet,” he forced me to lay down as he moved his head into the crook of my neck and fluttered kisses up and down my neck. Suddenly, as he stopped to nibble at the corner of my neck under my head, and my pants felt unbearably tight. “I can't believe how much I want him!”

While he was preoccupied with leaving his love mark on my neck, I tried to cross my legs, hoping that he won't see my growing desire for him, but in the process, I accidentally nudged his groin. “Nn…,” he pulled away and looked at me suspiciously.

“Ss… sorry!”

“Frustrated?” his eyes never left mine, but I could feel his hand unbuttoning my nightshirt.

“Hi..Hikari?”

“Niwa, please let me have you tonight,” his voice was sincere and secured.

“Please take me!” is what I was screaming in my mind, but I answered, “Ok…”

With my now exposed chest, Satoshi began an onslaught of kisses on my tender flesh while his hands moved over my breasts. “You've gotten bigger,” he whispered as he kissed the nearly formed buds, “You need a bra.” Diverting his hand from my breast, he allowed it to mischievously travel further south and over my groin. “Ah!”

He gently brushed his fingers over me and traced its outline. “Nn…,” I tried to hold everything I wanted to scream in, because I didn't want to create a disturbance for the neighbors. But, it was then that Satoshi assured me, “These walls are soundproof. Scream if you want. No one will ever be able to hear you.”

He pulled himself away from me as he grabbed the waistband of my pants and pulled them down until they reached my knees. “Why doesn't he pull them all the way off?”

He then looked back up at me, and seeing the bewildered look on my face, he said, “Don't worry. I know what I am doing.”

Then, before my eyes he begins to remove his own pants, but only as far down as his knees. “What is he planning to do?” He then removed his shirt and tossed it on the floor.

“Divide your legs for me,” he asks.

I did as he told me, and he maneuvers himself between them, pressing his half erect member against my own causing friction. I clenched my eyes shut as I arch my back against his body. “Careful, Niwa,” he warned me.

He undulated his hips against mine and our erections rubbed against each others. My lust ached for more. I want him to speed up, but he wouldn't for my comfort. It was the first time we ever engaged in a sexual activity since the day of my conception.

He bit my erect nipple, and I yelped. I wanted to drive his sex mad. He sucked harder on it as his hand wondered down between our colliding bodies and grasped our firm erections. I held onto his hips and tried to pull him closer to me as the friction intensified and our hips rocked.

The room was now rumbling with our gasping moans and it increased with every second into our activity. However, I could feel my climax approaching, and my lust still hadn't yet been clenched. “Hikari,” I breathed his name.

He looked up at me, and for the first time since that day I left, he crushed his lips to mine, and I exploded. I gasped into his mouth and he did the same when he climaxed soon after. Then, he pulled away leaving me breathless and partially satisfied. “I love you,” he whispered against my ear, and I couldn't begin to explain how much I wanted to say the same.

He then pulled his body away from mine and used his shirt to whip away our cum. I was almost like a limp doll as he redressed me, and picked me up in his arms. I was hoping that he would sleep in my bed with me tonight, but instead, he set me down, covered me with my sheets, kissed my forehead, and left my side.

I wanted to say `come back,' but he had already made his exit.

A/N: I didn't give much of a head warning about the lime, because as a reader, you should've taken the fic's rating into consideration. It's rated “X” people! What do you think is in “X” rated fics?! By the way, sorry for taking so long to update. School's slowing me down and stressing me out.
