L sat in a chair in his customary position and looked over reports and papers for the Kira case. Raito was sitting on the couch about 5 feet from L, the handcuff chain stretched close to taught. They'd been going through these for the last several days and they simply could not find the evidence that L hoped for.

 

“Oh, fuck me!” he exclaimed softly to himself.

 

“Is that an order or an offer?” Raito quipped as he went through his own stack of papers.

 

“Huh?” L looked strangely at Raito.

 

“Nothing.” Raito said as he reached for his coffee mug.

 

“Oh.” L said, somewhat confused.

 

Raito smirked behind his mug.
