***************

"Let's rest here for a bit." Jason smiled as he looked back to see the tamers (including Terriermon and Guilmon) out of breath from walking up a steep hill for two hours.

Just as everyone was enjoying the quiet, a low growl was heard. Takato immediately looked at Guilmon. Guilmon looked back with pleading eyes.

"Umm…Takato-mon, I'm hungry. Can we eat something?"

"You haven't changed a bit, have you boy?" Takato smiled. Goku became confused.

"So what is a Diggyman, anyways?"

"Um, they're called Digimon, sir. They used to be computer data created by humans, but somehow they started to evolve and become smarter and stronger. Eventually, they found their way into our world, and now they are our partners," Henry explained.

"Data, huh? What do they do exactly?"

"Anything they want from eating to being smart." Henry smiled. Terriermon crossed his arms.

"Now that wasn't very nice, Henry."

"I've got a question for you Jason: If you're so strong, why couldn't you beat this evil by yourself? I mean, not to many people can lift huge trees without even trying." Takato waited for a response.

"…Because I have tried and failed. This abomination has beaten me on many occasions. So, I had to run. Run until the time was right to fight again," Jason said after a few moments of quiet.

"Sounds like a cowardly thing to do." Vegeta smirked. Jason smirked.

"Vegeta, I know all about you and Goku. I also know that you aren't human. I know about Freiza, Cell, and Majin Buu. I know about the Trunks from the future. I know how Goku defeated Freiza, how Gohan killed Cell, and how Gogeta destroyed Majin Buu. Now imagine an evil with Freiza's ruthlessness, Cell's determination, and Majin Buu's limitless powers. Am I a coward or trying to find a way to kill this bastard?" The last part of the Jason's speech hinted a lot of hatred toward this `abomination.'

"Sounds like fun," Chris smirked. "So where is this `abomination' anyways?"

"Chris, you have a soul of adventure and determination. I wish I still had that, but you rush into things without thinking. If you don't change your ways, that foolish arrogance will eventually be your downfall. That's why I brought the tamers here. To see if they can get you to act like a normal human."

"Jason, you ignorant fool. You don't know one thing about me."

"Heh. Will see, Chris, will see. Now let's keep going. We've almost arrived."

A couple minutes later, the group finally reached there destination. The building that they reached seemed to reach space. The whole building looked as if it had not been used in centuries. Parts of the walls seemed about ready to topple over by even the slightest breeze.

Finally, Jason walked up to the wall. The wall began to open up, as if it were never there to begin with, and allowed the adventures to enter. Everyone entered, except for the younger portion of the group whom ware hesitant to enter the very old building at first, but finally entered with much disbelief. The whole group was in complete awe at what was beyond the door.

The room had no end or a least an end that they could not see because it was larger than any man made building every created. The room also was well maintained. The walls and the floor was nothing but metal. The next thing you would see is the gigantic computer screen on the other side. The computer console was right below it.

"This place is enormous! It looks like a very good place to train, too," said Goku with totally awe. Jason smiled.

"That is exactly what this place is. A place to train. A lot of great warriors and fighters have come here from all over the universe, just to train. Even the greatest heroes have been here. Unfortunately, I'm the only that has used this place in over a century," Jason smiled with great sadness in his eyes.

"But, that was the past. This is the present. Computer: Weapons." All the walls turned over to reveal every single weapon you can imagine, from guns to swords. This shocked the group even more than the room itself, including Chris.

"Okay Chris. Choose a weapon." Jason looked over to the astonished boy. Chris began to walk down the room. Picking out items and using them as if he had been using it all his life. Each weapon told Chris a different story. A different picture. Each time he would touch a weapon; he would close his eyes and see the previous wielder. None of these weapons are right. They all have owners with different styles, thought the young fighter.

Chris suddenly felt a presence touch his shoulder. Chris turned around to see a sword. This sword was in a display case. This sword was a broadsword. This sword had symbols engraved on the blade. Jewels of different colors and shapes were embedded in the hilt. Chris felt drawn toward it, as if the blade were calling out to him. Jason saw Chris admiring this blade.

"This sword belonged to a great hero, quite possible the greatest hero that ever existed. You know the legend of King Arthur. This sword would be the mighty, Excalibur. Only difference is that the scabbard did not make him invulnerable, it just seemed that way. He was the only warrior to use and master this blade. Unfortunately, that may be true for the rest of time."

"Why?" Chris asked, never taking his eyes of the magnificent blade.

"Why? Many have tried to use it, but all have failed. I even tried and let me tell you, it not fun being rejected by this sword." Chris smirked as he threw the glass container to the side and picked up the sword.

The exact moment Chris touched the mighty Excalibur, he felt his power and speed increase. Chris couldn't resist. He had to test his new power out. Chris raised the broadsword above his head, closed his eyes, and slashed once. He tried again, but with a horizontal slash. Then, he went all out. Slashing up, down, left, right, Chris started to get the hang of the sword. Chris threw the sword up into the air. As Excalibur was in midair, Chris wanted to see just how fast he had become. Chris created an afterimage, (where you see him for a second, then he disappears so quickly it leaves behind a see through image of him) then began to attack his own image.

I can't believe how fast I've become. I even created an afterimage. Chris smirked as the image disappeared. Chris quickly threw his hand up in the air and caught the sword. Chris began to concentrate and with one slash of the sword, Chris one of the walls of the building crumbled. Everyone stood in complete shock.

H-how was he able to do that, Jason thought. Not only can he use Drake's sword, but he mastered it just in a minute. A boy that has never had any swordsmanship has just mastered the sword of the greatest hero that may have ever existed. Hm, I believe I picked the right person for this job.

"Wow, if he trains enough, I'm sure his power will even rival mine," Goku said with a smirk. Jason remained silent as Chris walked back to the group. The young warrior smirked as he walked past Jason.

"Only two people have mastered this sword. Remember that," Chris said as a scabbard appeared in his hand. Chris placed his new sword in the scabbard and waited for Jason to respond.

"I must ask that you all wait here while I go get something." With that said, Jason left the room.

"Hey Chris! When did you learn to use a sword like that?" Annie asked as soon the warrior made his exit.

"Can I ask you something?" Chris asked in a response.

"Sure," Annie replied with you cheerful smile.

"Didn't I ask you to leave me alone?" Chris obviously looked annoyed. Annie saw this as an opportunity.

"Chris, are you trying to tell me something?" Annie put on her best confused expression. Vegeta scowled at the scene.

"Why are we stuck in another dimension with a bunch of brats?" Vegeta asked to no one. All Takato could do was sigh. This is going to be a long day.
