(Flashback)

"Oh be quiet nonaka what will you do? I mean come on you can't give me proof that someone has called you pretty or even beautiful for that matter face it you are going to die a lonely and miserable life."

(End Flashback)

`Is she right will I be like this for the rest of my life. Alone will I be alone forever is this my destiny I have always been alone ever since I was a child.' Rika was awake most of the night thinking about this not being able to get it out of her mind. She had sometimes think of ways that it wouldn't be so bad but something always turn out to be even worse. `At least I won't be weak.'

Rika couldn't sleep anymore so she decides to go take a walk and try to get rid of these thoughts. She puts on her usual clothes and heads out of the door quietly. As she is walking she was remembering everything that occurred in the past and how much it hurt her and the family. `I hate my life.' She sighed and continued walking. It was a really nice night and the stars were shining bright. `Wow the stars look so beautiful and so peaceful I wish that I was a star so wouldn't have any more worried.' She found herself walking in the park she didn't care she just wanted to walk.

Something caught her eye in the distance she didn't know what it was but she wanted to know what it was. She got closer and closer she got it got bigger but that turned out to be Michael. `What is he doing at this time of night?' She hid behind a tree watching him.

Michael was just doing some kind of martial arts thing he looked so concentrated and so smooth as he did nothing could distract him at this point. Rika watched as Michael slowly moved his body in different kinds of patterns and how well he did it to. Something caught her attention though he wasn't wearing a shirt. She never really looked at Michael before well she couldn't really with him just getting here a couple of weeks ago she keeps pushing him away.

Michael had his hair up in a ponytail so it wouldn't get in his eyes but when it usually was down it would be down to his shoulders. He had his shirt showing off his well-toned stomach and chest he wasn't too muscular but he was supporting a nice six-pack. He was about five foot nine. Rika swear she was going to die all of a sudden from the sudden increase in her heart. She was blushing real hard and she started to sweat a little.

She turned around and sat down trying to calm herself down. `What in the heck is wrong with me I have never been like this before.' She was finally got herself calm so she stood up slowly trying not to make any noise. She turns around to look at Michael again but he is gone so she steps out behind the tree and walks up were he was.

"Where did he go?" She asked herself out loud.

"You know little girls aren't suppose to be outside alone in the dark by themselves." A voice behind her said.

Rika just screamed and turned around jumping away from the voice and to see a Michael on the ground laughing. "You should of seen your face it was so a Kodak moment." He said trying to catch his breath.

"Bastard why would you do that to me?" She asked mad at him for doing it.

"Well why were you spying on me?" He asked back.

Rika couldn't think of anything to say, "I wasn't spying on you I happened to walk by and notice you so I looked for a second." She explained.

"That was one long second you know." He said again putting his shirt on and putting his hair down.

`Who does he think he is god he is rude.' She thought to herself. "Why would I want to spy there isn't much to look at." She said grinning at her own joke.

"Why do you do that?" He asked.

"Do what?" She asked him.

"You know put everyone down like you are more important then them." He said.

"Well cause I am and if you got a problem you will have to just go somewhere else won't you." She said turning around to walk back home.

"Every time I compliment you after a battle you just throw it back to my face do you even want a friend?" They just stared at each other for what seemed like forever.

"No I don't friends are a sign of weakness and I am not weak so if you don't mind stop talking to me ok." She said walking away.

"Fine screw you then I don't need the stress anymore." He says walking away as well.

`Why did I go and do that, god rika your pride is in the way.' She was talking to herself she just sighed and walked home.

`Why is she so hard headed gosh I have never met someone so stubborn in my life.' He said angry with the matter. He got back at guilmons hideout and just sat there thinking. `Why can't I stop thinking of her?' He said to himself then started to picture her. Her tight jeans with her broken heart shirt on that hides her nice developed breasts no to big but not to small. Then there is her face, it looks so smooth and her eyes you could fall into them if stared at them for to long and her beautiful orange hair. Michael had his eyes closed and was cracking a smile just thinking of her but then he realized what he was doing and shook his head. "I got to train some more." He said standing up and going back outside.

Rika just laid in bed not even tired she just laid there staring at the ceiling trying to figure out her feelings towards the tamers. `I don't need friends or do I? Why do problems like these seemed to show up and mess with me it's like I have a curse.' She sighed and turned her head to stare at the moon. It was so beautiful only if it was a half-moon but still it was beautiful to her.

Michael was once again doing that martial arts training it's like a training of the mind and body together. He couldn't concentrate though he always loose a step or just start to stare off into space. He sighed and sat on the ground and looked up to the sky. `The moon…it use to be so dangerous to me but now it is so peaceful.' He sat there staring at the moon and just waited till morning came.

Rika was finally able to fall asleep luckily for her it was the weekend and should be able to sleep in. She was starts to move around and then her eyes open slowly to reveal all the light around her. `I finally fell asleep.' She got up and did her usual thing get her clothes and go take a shower. As she was taking her shower she couldn't but think what happened last night.

(Flashback)

"Why do you do that?" He asked.

"Do what?" She asked him.

"You know put everyone down like you are more important then them." He said.

"Well cause I am and if you got a problem you will have to just go somewhere else won't you." She said turning around to walk back home.

(End Flashback)

"Who does he think he is I can't belief this guy he thinks he can question the way I act." She remembers on thing though throughout that whole conversation the last thing he said before leaving himself. "Fine screw you then I don't need the stress anymore."

"What did he mean by that? Was he actually trying to become my friend? No one has ever tried that hard except for the other two tamers but he was different in some way. Maybe I do need friends and just won't let them in cause of my pride." She was talking to herself.

(Somewhere in the park)

"What is wrong michael you seem down today." Renamon asked her friend.

"It's nothing renamon just didn't get enough sleep last night it is nothing to worry about I promise." He said giving her a smile that kind of looked plain anyway.

"Whatever you say I can't stay I must be with rika today." She said standing up and getting ready to go.

"Ok take care." He said waving to her.

She disappeared and left michael they're to just stare cause well he was bored and had nothing else to do. "I am really getting tired of bread now that I think of it I should get a job." With that last thought he walked out of the hideout and took to go look for a job.

(2 hours later)

Takato, henry, kazu, kenta, guilmon, and terriermon were all at the park and they were getting ready to play some good old football. Jeri and Calumon were on the sidelines cheering on the players. Michael shows up and just watches them play for a while and decided to go over and see if he can join.

"Hey guys do you mind if I tag along?" Michael asked walking up to all of them.

"Sorry michael we already have even teams." Takato said.

"How about this all of you against me what do you say." He said with a mischievous smile on his face.

"All the guys and digimon huddled together and discussed it when they finally came to a conclusion takato spoke, "we agree."

In the woods there was rika watching them play she was kind of wishing she could play to it looked fun. She watched as all of them got into their positions it looked like all of them were going to go against michael. `This should be interesting.' She thought to herself. Michael had the ball they were counting down he said hike and he started to run. Everyone went after him and was eager to get him down. Takato jumped on his back trying to get him down but it was going to take a lot to get him down. Kazu and kenta got his legs and were holding on for life. Henry had grabbed one of his arms but michael kept on going but not running he was walking cause of the weight. Guilmon had grabbed him around his waste and was trying to hold him back but it wasn't working and terriermon was on his head blocking his eyes with his ears. He was slowly moving still and wasn't going to give up so easily all of others were trying so hard to get him down. Michael was slowly loosing his balance he kept on tripping on kazu and kenta then finally he fell and everyone was cheering.

"We did we took down michael I can't belief it." Kazu was saying jumping up and down.

"I wasn't trying you know." Michael said with a frown.

"Right and you are telling us you could have made it there with our great strength." Terriermon said.

"Everyone busted out laughing and fell on the ground laughing it's not what terriermon said it is just what happened.

"You want some of this terriermon me and you buddy!" Michael yelled at him.

"You're on!" Terriermon yelled back. They both got into each other's face and was looking at each other coldly. Rika couldn't help but giggle at the sight when she realized what she did she shook her head. `What am I doing there all just being dumb.' She thought to herself.

Everyone was laughing even terriermon and michael were laughing now. "How about we do it again and see if you can make it." Kenta suggested. They all agreed and got into their places but as they were about to hike the ball an explosion happened.

"A digimon." Guilmon said.

"It's a big one." Michael said.

"Lets go." Terriermon said and they all went into the digital field followed by rika and renamon.

There was a large roar and an another explosion and then it came into view it was DarkTyrannomon and he looked mean.

"It's a champion level." Takato said reading it off his digivice.

"Let's get him guys." Michael said charging at him with guilmon and terriermon behind him. They all charged at him but darktyrannomon saw them and went to swipe them with his tail. It hit everyone except michael who jumped into the air and punched him in the face but it didn't even faze him.

"What!" Michael said before darktyrannomon backhanded him with his arm he went flying into the ground breaking the ground and forming a small hole from the impact.

"This guy is tougher then we thought." Henry said.

"Pyrosphere!" Guilmon shot at him while he was distracted and hit him directly slightly hurting him. Darktyrannomon turned around and fired back with his fire blast. Guilmon barely dodged it and was trying to dodge now his tail. Terriermon attacked him but it was flawless.

"This guy has to go down some how." Henry said.

"Diamond storm!" Renamon finally came in but surprising the renegade digimon. He fell to the ground but got back up with a large roar. Rika watched as the digimon tried to take him down. Guilmon was hit and was not getting up and well for some reason it concerned renamon. She was so distracted she didn't notice darktyrannomon coming at her by the time she did it was to late and he hit her with his tail. She got back up and went after him scolding herself from loosing concentration. Michael was back in and trying to draw him away from the others. He started to shoot energy balls at him and it wasn't affecting him though this guy was real strong.

He fired his fire blast at terriermon and guilmon but they dodged it but the blast was heading straight towards the tamers and the others. They all were panicking they couldn't do anything. Michael on the other hand got there in time and put his hands up to stop it. The blast was just to strong he couldn't hold it for much longer he started to get pushed backwards some loosing his balance.

"Guys get out of here!" He yelled at the group. They all ran from the spot they were standing in. Michael lost his balance and was sent flying into the forest with the blast and it engulfed him and exploded. He yelled out in pain.

They were all scared excluding rika for michael. They watched as their digimon fought this giant.

"How can we stop him?" Takato asked in a panic. He looked at his pal trying to stop this digimon but he wasn't affecting him at all.

Renamon was having a real hard time to she couldn't even get close or he would notice her and go after her.

"Only if they could digivovle then we could take care of this guy." Henry said worrying about terriermon.

Michael wasn't down yet his shirt was all tattered up and burnt and his pants luckily only had holes in them. "Hey ugly you can't take get of me that easy." He once again yelled and that red aurora was surrounding him. He this time yelled even more he was powering up and the aurora was getting bigger and he was throwing dirt everywhere cause of the wind.

He went at him and he hit him knocking him on his butt and then he started to throw energy blasts at him. He was throwing a lot but when he was done he didn't even faze the dinosaur.

Michael was now shocked he didn't know what to do. `I can't do it yet it's not time to go super but I might have to.' He was thinking to himself. Darktyrannomon was strong and all the digimon including michael were having real trouble.

Guilmon shot his pyrosphere again hitting him in the face. The dinosaur cried out in pain and went after guilmon.

"GUILMON!" Takato yelled then at that moment his digivice started to glow.

Guilmon started to slow to, "Guilmon digivolve to…Growlmon." He digivolved and was now taller then darktyrannomon.

`He digivolved into champion.' Michael watched as growlmon went after darktyrannomon.

Both dinosaurs locked fists and were struggling with each other but growlmon was more powerful. He let go of him and swung his tail knocking him to the ground again then he fired his PyroBlaster at him and vaporized him.

`He made it look so easy.' Renamon thought to herself.

They all cheered well except rika and renamon of course they all went up to growlmon to congratulate him. "Alright growlmon that was awesome you beat him so fast when you digivolved." Takato said to his friend.

"Whatever if you were to wait a little longer renamon could beat him but you all were in her way." Rika said starting to walk off but she stopped when she heard someone laughing. She turned around and saw it was michael. "What are you laughing at?"

"You. You really think renamon could of beat that guy alone? She might be strong but she isn't that strong no offense to you renamon." He said looking at her.

"Whatever I didn't see you do any better out there." She said turning around.

"So what he was strong but at least I lasted I will live another day." They were arguing and he was getting tired of it. "Well guys I better start heading somewhere to go get these wounds tended to." He said turning around and walking away.

"Ah is little michael going somewhere cause he got a few scratches." She was starting to push her luck but the next thing she said was the last point. "How bout you go cry to your mom and dad oh wait I forgot there dead and so is your whole race no one to go cry to."

Michael stopped dead in his tracks and everyone looked at him.

"Oh no." Renamon said out loud.

With a mighty yell everything around blew away he knock everyone down that was near him and he starting to get surrounded by a golden aurora. Growlmon was even knocked down but he had to hold everyone from blowing away but it all stopped. Rika blinked but when she opened her eyes there stood michael with red eyes staring at her. Rika was now really scared she didn't know what to do.

"Michael stop!" Renamon tried to grab him but he just pushed away with his energy.

"How dare you. You fucking bitch how dare you talk about my family like that. What gives any right to bring that up and talk about it like that. If I wanted I could end you pathetic life right now but no I wont that would be doing you a favor. All we have been trying to do is be your friend and you just be a bitch to us if you don't need our help fine who cares I surely don't how bout you stay the hell out of my way." The whole time michael is getting closer to her and she is walking backwards but she trips and he bends down and looks her straight in the eye. "You are going to grow up all alone like right now with no friends and when that happens someday you will just won't be able to stand life any more and will want to talk to someone but there wont be anyone to talk to you cause you are a bitch. You will keep it all bottled up inside and then one day you will die with no one to be with you." She was looking at his eyes that gentleness not there anymore but taken over by rage she started to tear up from the fear. "Go back to the place you call home and go to your room cause that's the only place you can go." He was loosing control he couldn't stop himself what he feared the most was loosing control again. "This is for talking about my parents you heartless bastard." He raises his fist and gets ready to punch her.

"Michael don't!" Takato yelled at him. Growlmon was up and was running at him but they were to far away.

He swung but before he could make contact something clicked in his mind and he stopped right in front of her face. Rika looked up and saw that his eyes were back to normal and they were wide.

"What…what was I doing." He fell backwards getting away from seeing her trembling body and her scared face. He started to cry a little, tears sliding down his face. "Oh my god I almost hit you…rika I am sorry renamon please and everyone I am so sorry I must go." He got up and took off as fast as he can. Rika watched as he flew off, `why did he apologize?' She wondered but with that she got up and started to run home scared out of her mind.

Everyone stayed in the park talking about what happened. Michael he went somewhere but he was crying to himself what he almost did. Rika was in her bed still scared on what happened and was thinking on what he said.
