It was morning after the big night Michael and rika had they had made love together and now they were just sleeping together in the surrounded pond. "I didn't think about that maybe I will talk to him about some time but not now." She says and rika decides not to push it any further but something more sinister comes to her mind and she smiles. "Whenever you are ready I will be there to listen." He says to her. Videl feeling warm and safe just sighs.

"Thank you gohan but for now please don't let go I feel safe with you." Videl has her eyes closed and is leaning against his body for support and her head on his chest. Gohan just looks at this girl who is so fragile to him he could easily break and now he holding her like he is protecting her from the world itself. "It is going to be storming tonight." Gohan says. Hearing gohan say that she looks up and sees that he is right and more then likely there is going to be lightening.

"Look at those two Michael they are in love with each other and they don't even know it." Rika is looking at videl and gohan hugging.

"I know but we shouldn't interfere they will come around." He says taking a drink of a pop that takato had brought everyone. Rika remembering what she told videl earlier smiles and whispers in his ear telling him the same thing that she told videl. Michael's eyes widen and he spits out his pop making everyone look at him. Rika tells him everything and then he starts to smile like videl did when she explained and the thing didn't sound that bad I mean it would really good he thought. "What about your mom?" He wouldn't want to get in trouble.

She says and Michael just shakes his head agreeing with her. They land at her doorstep and walk in just as it starts to rain. She leads him through the house showing him everything. "Mom Michael is staying with me tonight."

"Ok dear." Michael on hearing this is just shocked to hell on how easy that was. Rika took him to her room and just told him to wait there so she could get her pajamas on. "Making yourself right at home aren't we." Michael smiles at her and opens the covers motioning her to climb in. She goes over and gets under the covers and lays her head down on the pillow. Michael wraps his arm around her waist and pulls her close and turns her head.

"Good night." With that he reached over to her lamp and turns it off and they both fall asleep with each other in hands. Back at the hideout a couple hours went by already and the storm had really picked up. Gohan was still awake looking at the storm got through the sky and how beautiful the lightening was. Videl was asleep but she awoke from a large thunder. Videl looked over to the entrance to see gohan standing there looking at the storm and then there was another crack of lightening and thunder making videl whimper and go under her covers.

Gohan hears her whimper and looks over to videls form and sees that she is under blanket and it looks like she is shaking. Gohan concerned walks over there and knees besides her and takes the blanket off her face. She has her eyes closed and she was holding herself. "I wish my mom was here so she could protect me from the lightening." She says to gohan and all gohan could do is smile finding out that she is afraid of lightening.

"Videl there is nothing to be afraid of." Gohan assures her. There is a loud bang making her yelp and start to cry some. Gohan bothered by the scene scoops her up into his hands and sits her down on his laps and holds her protecting her from the storm. "I don't know why I have always been and I always went to my mom when there was a storm." Videl remembering her mom holding just like gohan is doing right brings a smile to her face.

"Have you ever watched the lightening before it is a quite beautiful thing." Gohan tells her. Videl shakes her head no and then an idea comes to gohans head. "Videl if you trust me?"

"Of course I do." She looks at him.

"Will you let me show you this storm and show you there is nothing to be afraid of." Videl hesitates for a minute cause she is about to say no but she looks into his eyes and what she sees that he would protect her from anything. She shakes her head and then gohan stands up and sets her down holding her hand. They start to walk up to the entrance and there is a loud crash of thunder making videl grab gohan around the whole arm. When they get far enough to the out of the entrance with out getting wet gohan moves behind her and lifts her head to show her the beauty of art in motion. Looking as the lightening crossed the sky going into different shapes and lighting the sky up made her look with fascination.

"It is so beautiful." Videl says looking at the sky ignoring the loud thunder. Gohan still has a hold of her around the waist.

"I told you there is nothing to be afraid of." Videl smiles and leans back into his chest and wrap her arms around his.

"Gohan I think I am ready to tell you why I was crying earlier." Videl says and gohan just looks down at her seeing that she is ready to tell him. "Gohan ever since my mom died I have been alone and I thought I would be alone forever. Seeing Michael and rika today kissed really got me thinking that I was going to be alone the rest of my life. Watching them express their love to each other in a kiss made me want to have someone in my life that loved me also. I wanted to know what a kiss feels like I want this huge urge to try it but I have no one." Videl looks down sadness written all over her face.

"Videl that is not true because well I um kind of like you." Gohan finally admitted. Videl turns around with hope in her eyes.

"Really you are not joking with me?" Videl really wanted to know.

"I would not joke around with your feelings videl I really like you heck with that I love you." He said. Videl broke in tears of joy and wrapped her hands around his neck and hugged him. Gohan buried his head in her neck and just hugged her.

"I love you to gohan." She said breaking away from the hug to look into his eyes.

"Videl may I give you something that you most well deserve?" Gohan asks and videl just shakes her head. Gohan leans down kisses her on the lips and she to kisses back enjoying the new sensation going through her body. They break the kiss and lean their foreheads against one another. They go to bed sleeping next to each other not letting either of them know they have finally found love in each other.
