Digimon Worlds: Dimensional Endgame

 

Recap: After the `debacle' with DD, DM, and DR the day before, the Duelist Kingdom 2 tournament can finally begin! During the time Pegasus was `rambling' with the rules and giving the people a bit of a `show', Kari discussed with Serena about a dream about a mysterious `Sun Kingdom' and how that kingdom's princess looked exactly like her as well as her `princess look-a-like' was Serena's, as the princess of the Moon Kingdom, cousin. However, Serena's knowledge about her past as the Princess of the Moon Kingdom is limited at best and she couldn't help Kari. On the meanwhile, Davis learned from Tai that Kari was not Tai's biological younger sister at all! Kari was adopted by the Kamiya family! And during the start of the tournament, Davis, with the rest of the Odaiba Digidestined, learned this as well, including on the `mysterious circumstances' that the Kamiyas adopted Kari. However, Kari's `situation' is small compared to Serena when she, Darien, and the other scouts are attacked and Serena is kidnapped by DK and Icy. They take Serena to the villains' headquarter in order for Wiseman to try to bring out the darkness within her and turn her evil again. Meanwhile, the other heroes and heroines gather in the Digital World and using Kari's knowledge and her Instant Transmission, they infiltrate the fortress in a rescue mission. While most of our Interdimensional Warriors took care of the `greeting party' for all of them, Kari, Gatomon, and Hotaru lead the others to where Serena is being held and tortured to bring out her darkness. That doesn't succeed, but when Darien, Kari, and Hotaru were threatened by Sailor Darkmoon, Sailor Moon snaps and nearly kills Sailor Darkmoon by nearly snapping her neck as well as nearly being consumed by darkness created her own anger and rage towards Sailor Darkmoon. Her love, Darien, however, managed to bring Sailor Moon back to her senses, but DK then strikes Sailor Moon in the back, knocking her into unconsciousness. However, before DK could strike again, a mysterious talking cat, named Osiris from the Sun Kingdom, arrived and declared that Kari is the heir to the Sun Kingdom and Serena's long lost cousin! When Kari used the greatest treasure of the Sun Kingdom, the Imperial Golden Emerald, to transform into the Sailor Scout of the Sun Kingdom, Sailor Sun, she gave DK, Queen Beryl, Wiseman, and Sailor Darkmoon a real `torching'. However, they recovered to counter-attack in a massive way, but reinforcements in the form of the other warriors arrived and help secure victory for the good guys with Sailor Moon becoming a Digidestined and gaining her own partner. In the aftermath, Sailor Comet, the Sailor Scout of Worlds, appears and tells Kari why she left her with the Kamiya as well as that she is both Hikari Timaeus of the Sun Kingdom and Hikari Kamiya of Earth, the Digidestined of Light, and everything that she is in her `Earth life'. However, the `parting insults' of Sailor Darkmoon and DK left an `impression' of our two princess, Serena and Kari, causing us to ask questions like: How will this battle affect Serena and Kari? What will happen to our heroes and heroines next as the tournament continues? Well, let's find out, today, on Digimon Worlds: Dimensional Endgame!

 

Chapter 16: Legendary Dragon versus Egyptian God

Zoe then states, “I hate to be a downer, but our enemies would love to get their hands on Sin and Great Leviathan, however, for more destructive purpose than those three groups of villains and villainess would have.”

Serena then kisses Darien on his left cheek and when Darien calms down, she tells him, in loving tone, “I know that this seems sudden, but I took a hard look at myself and decided that I was holding myself back and I've decided to `push' myself and take my life into my hands.”

 

Rika smiles and tells Serena, “Well, I've got to say it is about time that you and Kari did this, Serena. I approve.” Serena gives Rika a smile and thumbs up with her left hand.

 

Ryo sighs and states, “Why I am not surprised that Rika approves of this change?” Rika then growls in annoyance at Ryo, who steps back slightly and champs his mouth shut.

 

Trista wonders in her own mind, “Could have what happened at our enemies' fortress could have changed Princess Kari and Princess Serena in some way?! Serena nearly got consumed her anger and rage after being tortured by Erisita and Wiseman and when Darkmoon threaten Prince Darien and her new friends! Kari then found out about her true heritage about being the Princess of the Sun Kingdom and Serena's long lost cousin might have had an effect on her! However, it could be what Princess Kari's doppelganger and Darkmoon said about Serena and Kari could have triggered this change? Or could it be a combination of multiple of these `events' have trigger this change?” Meanwhile, Rini is wondering what's going with her mother's `past self' and her changes.

 

Veemon then asks BlackGatomon, Serena's new Digimon partner, “What's going on with your partner and Kari, BlackGatomon?” BlackGatomon shrugs her cat-like shoulders, indicating that's what she is wondering herself.

 

Just then a voice calls out, “Hey, there is some spooky duelist causing trouble outside!” When everyone looks to the source of the voice, a young male duelist, one from Davis' world, around 16 to 17 years of age comes into the cyber-café.

 

Takato then asks the male duelists, “What's the problem? What about this `spooky duelist'? Can you tell us what he looks like?”

 

The male duelists tells Takato, “He has got pale white skin, spiky dark green hair spiking into the air, and his face looks like a skull with the white skin, eyeballs, and nose attached. He's freaking and he says that he's `calling out' the Royal Six Duelists.”

 

Serena then says, “That would be our cue to get out there.”

 

Davis tells Kari, “Best that you put that double date with Serena and Darien on hold, Hikari-chan.” Kari nods her head in agreement with her lover/boyfriend and all of our heroes and heroines then head outside. When they leave the cyber-café and into the streets, they look to their left to find none other than zombie duelist, Bonz, standing before them.

 

Hotaru then says, “Hey, I've heard of you, you're the zombie duelist, Bonz, but I thought that the evil spirit of the Millennium Ring based you to the Shadow Realm.”

 

Bonz then reveals his Chaos Duel Disk and says, “Yes, but my new master released me from the Shadow Realm and gave me something that I desired. Power. The power to win any duel and become one of the greatest duelists of all time.” Bonz then activates his Chaos Duel Disk, inserts his dueling deck, and asks, in a confident and scary tone, “Now, who will be the first to face the terror of my zombie deck? I will tell you, now, that you won't stand a ghost of a chance.”

 

Hotaru then steps forward, inserts her dueling deck into her duel disk, activates her duel disk, and says, calmly and plainly, “I will.”

 

Rini then calls out to Hotaru, shocked, “Hotaru, do you know what you are getting into? What if you lose?”

 

Hotaru smiles with her usual smile and tells Rini, in a confident tone of her own, “Don't worry, Rini. Let's see how Bonz, here, like to tangle with some `ghosts' of my own?” Hotaru and Bonz then draw five cards from their dueling deck, each, as the duel got under way.

Bonz then draws one card from his dueling deck, smiles evilly, and then show his card, showing it to be the Seal of Orichalcos, saying, “It is my move and I will play this card, the Seal of Orichalcos.”

 

Hotaru tells Bonz, “Don't be a fool! If you play that card then you will be risking your soul as well as mine! You are being used by our enemies!”

 

Bonz then calls out, “I don't care, as long as I have the power to be the best, then I don't care! So, who asked you, girl?!” Bonz then played the Seal of Orichalcos card, causing the typical evil wind as it appears on the field, trapping Hotaru and Bonz inside as Bonz gains the mark of the Orichalcos on his head and red tint in his eyes. Bonz then puts one card in magic/trap slots and yells out, “Now, I play Polymerization! Allowing me to fuse my Dragon Zombie and my Snake Hair together to create a creature so terrifying it will send shivers down your spine!” Just then the holograms of Dragon Zombie (1600/0) and Snake Hair (1500/1200) appear on the field and combine into one as Bonz discards the two cards into the graveyard, takes the fusion monster card, and puts on the duel disk. Bonz then declares, “Behold, the Great Mammoth of Goldfine!” And then the monster known as Great Mammoth of Goldfine (2200/1800) in attack mode. Bonz then tells Hotaru, “Plus, the Seal of Orichalcos give my Mammoth an addition 500 attack points!” The Great Mammoth of Goldfine then gains the mark of the Orichalcos on its bony forehead and its attack points go from 2200 to 2700! Bonz then says, confidently, “Ha! Talk about having one foot in the grave! Make your move, it won't matter in the end!”

 

Hotaru then draws one card from her deck and says, “Okay by me.” Hotaru then looks at her hand, one card in the magic/trap slots, and calls out, “Now, I play my Pot of Greed magic card! This card allows me to draw two new cards!” Hotaru then draws two more cards from her deck, puts two cards in her magic/trap slots, and states, “First, I place two cards face-down and then I activate this card!” Hotaru then puts another card in the magic/trap slot and calls out, “Now, I activate Cost Down! This lowers a monster in my hand star level by 2, allowing me to summon it easier!” Hotaru then declares, “Time to meet a ghost of my own! Now, I call Vampire Lord to the field!” In a field of lights, the monster known as Vampire Lord (2000/1500) appears in attack mode!

 

Mina jumps back a little and states, a bit fearfully, “Yipe! Why do they have to bring monsters like those?!”

 

Bonz isn't threatened by Hotaru's monster and tells her, confidently, “Ha! What's your fanged freak going to do? My Mammoth has 700 more attack points than your overgrown bat!”

 

Hotaru then calls out, confident tone in her voice, “Oh, really? Now, I discard my entire hand to the graveyard!” Hotaru then puts the rest of her hand, three cards in all, into the graveyard!

 

Zoe then asks, confused, “What's Hotaru doing? She's getting rid of her own hand!”

 

Serena smiles and thinks, “If I know Hotaru, then one of those face-down cards must exactly what she needs to power up her Vampire Lord, but she needed to destroy her entire hand to use it!”

 

Hotaru then calls out, “Reveal face-down card! Spiritualistic Medium!” One of Hotaru's face-down cards is revealed to be the Spiritualistic Medium magic card.

 

Bonz's expression goes into one of panic, knowing about that magic card, and yells out, in disbelief, “It can't be!”

 

Hotaru then gains a `naughty' smile not seen in her expression before and tells Bonz, “That's right, Bonz. This magic card increase one of my monsters' attack points by 500 times every card destroyed on my turn. And since I destroyed three of my own cards, my monster gains 1500 addition attack points!” Just then ghostly spirits come out of Hotaru's magic card and go into Vampire Lord, raising its stats from 2000/1500 to 3500/1500! Hotaru then commands, “Now, Vampire Lord, destroy his Mammoth with your Nightmare Bats!” Vampire Lord then opens his cloak, sending out a huge amount of bats at Bonz's Mammoth, and destroying it. Hotaru then tells Bonz, “Now, for some more bad news: Reveal Trap! Coffin Seller!” Hotaru's other face-down card is revealed to be the Coffin Seller Trap card. Hotaru tells Bonz, “My Trap card reduces your life-points by 300 points every time a monster of yours goes into the card graveyard and since my Vampire Lord destroyed your Mammoth, you lose an addition 300 life-points!” Just then Bonz's life-points go down by 800 for Battle Damage and an extra 300 points, thanks to Hotaru's Trap card. Hotaru then states, “However, since I destroyed your monster and reduced your life-points, I've activated my Vampire Lord's special ability. Every time, my monster takes a `bite' out of your life-points, you have to put one monster, magic, or trap card, based on what I decide, into the graveyard. And I choose for you to remove another monster card from your hand!” Bonz then displays one Despair from the Dark (2800/3000) monster card and discards it to the graveyard, causing him to 300 more life-points thanks to Hotaru's active Trap card on the field. Hotaru then yells out, “That will end my turn!”

Rei then calls out, happily, “All right, Hotaru is kicking that little freak's butt!”

 

Amara then says, in her usual voice, “Don't celebrate just, yet. Hotaru has got a long way to go to win.”

 

Bonz then draws one card from his deck, looks at the card, and states, “Okay, my move!” Bonz then gives a wide grin and asks, “Do you remember my friend, Despair from the Dark?” Just then the monster card comes out of the graveyard and then a hologram of Despair from the Dark (2800/3000) appears on the field in attack mode, shocking every non-Interdimensional Warrior hero and heroine. Bonz, with a wide grin on his face, says, “Confused? Well, whenever my Despair from the Dark is sent to the graveyard by an opponent's monster, magic, or trap card effect from my hand, I can summon it to the field on my next turn!” Despair from the Dark the gains the red tint in its eyes and the mark of the Orichalcos on his forehead, raising its stats to 3300/3000! Bonz then puts one card in his magic/trap slots and declares, “Now, I activate my Card of Sanctity! Forcing both of us to draw until we, both, have six cards in our hands!” Bonz and Hotaru then draw until both of them have six cards in their hands. Bonz then puts on card on his duel disk and yells out, “Now, I summon my Zombie Warrior in attack mode!” Just then a hologram of Zombie Warrior (1200/800) appears on the field in attack mode! Bonz then adds, “Plus the Seal of Orichalcos gives it an extra 500 attack points!” The Zombie Warrior then gains the mark of the Orichalcos on its forehead, raising its stats to 1700/800! Bonz then puts one more card in his magic/trap slot and declares, “Plus, I give the Axe of Despair magic card! Giving my zombie an additional 1000 attack points!” Bonz's Zombie Warrior's stats then turn from 1700/800 to 2700/0!

 

Hotaru then states, “So? Neither of them can get past my Vampire Lord and its 3500 attack points!”

 

Bonz then puts one more card in the magic/trap slot and yells out, “Oh, really? Guess again! Now, I play my Sword of the Deep Seated! Giving my Despair from the Dark an addition 500 attack and defense points!” Bonz's Despair from the Dark then goes from 3300/3000 to 3800/3500, making it stronger than Hotaru's monster!

 

Hotaru gasps and exclaims, “Oh no!”

 

Bonz then declares, evilly, “Oh, yes! Despair from the Dark, destroy her Vampire Lord, now!” Despair from the Dark then swoops in, slices Hotaru's Vampire Lord in half, destroying it, and taking 300 life-points from her score. Bonz then commands, “Now, you are exposed to a direct attack! Zombie Warrior, attack her life-points directly!” Bonz's Zombie Warriors then comes in and slashes Hotaru, who holds up her arms in defense, she calls out in shock and her life-points are reduced by 2700 more life-points!”

 

Rini calls out, worriedly, “Oh no! Hotaru!”

Bonz puts one card in the magic/trap slots and states, “Now, I place one card face-down and end my turn!” Bonz then asks Hotaru, in a taunting tone, “Had enough, little girl?”

 

Hotaru then says, in a extremely serious tone not seen in her before, “Not even close! My move!” Hotaru then draws one card from her dueling deck.

 

Mina then asks, “Is it me or has Hotaru's tone of voice taken an extreme turn?”

 

Michelle then responds, “It looks like that Serena isn't the only one that went through some changes during her journey across worlds.”

 

Hotaru then looks at her hand, puts one card in the magic/trap slot, and calls out, “Now, I play Card of Safe Return! As long as this magic card is on the field, every time a monster is revived from the graveyard, I get to draw another card from my deck!” Hotaru then puts another card in her magic/trap slots and yells out, “Now, I play Monster Reborn! And I bring back my Vampire Lord in defense mode!” Just then Vampire Lord (2000/1500) comes up from the ground and returns to the field in defense mode!

 

Bonz then calls out, “Just what I was waiting for! Reveal Final Attack Orders!” Bonz's face-down card is revealed to be the Final Attack Orders Trap card, forcing Hotaru's Vampire Lord to switch from defense mode in attack mode! Bonz then states, “Ha! As long as my Trap card remains on the field, no monsters can be in defense mode, meaning your life-points are exposed!”

 

Rini then states, worriedly, “Hotaru is in trouble!”

 

Serena's voice then tells Rini, “Believe in Hotaru, Rini!” When Rini looks at Serena in surprise, she smiles and tells her, confidently, “Don't worry, Hotaru will win this battle, but she needs our support to win, okay?” Rini smiles at Serena and nods her head in agreement.

 

Hotaru then states, in a strong tone, “Okay, but since I revive Vampire Lord from the graveyard, my Card of Safe Return allows me to draw one card from my deck.” Hotaru then draws one card from her deck and puts into her hand.

 

Bonz then states, mockingly, “Yeah, like that will help you stop me from winning this duel and sealing your soul away!”

 

Hotaru then looks at the card, smiles, and says, “That's what you think! First, I remove my Guardian Angel Joan and my Vampire Lady I put in the graveyard myself!” Just then Guardian Angel Joan (2800/2000) and Vampire Lady (1550/1550) monster cards come out of the graveyard, Hotaru puts them out of play, and Hotaru then puts one card on her duel disk, calling out, “This allows me to summon my Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning to the field!” Just then Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode!

 

Bonz then states, not threatened tone of voice, “What will that card do?!”

 

Hotaru tells Bonz, “A lot since I activate this card!” Hotaru then displays her Pain of Anima Aeon card and calls out, “Now, I activate this card! The Pain of Anima!” Just then a vortex of darkness appears in the center of the field as a large anchor from the sky drops into it and when the anchor rises up, again, the Aeon of Pain and Darkness, Anima, appears on the field.

 

Even Hotaru's Interdimensional Warrior, friends and allies, are amazed and Serena exclaims, “Whoa! Hotaru got an Aeon card like me!”

 

Hotaru then calls out, “Now, I fuse my Black Luster Soldier with Anima to form. . .!” Just then Anima and Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning go into a vortex as they combine together. When the fusion is complete, Hotaru yells out, “Black Luster Soldier-Knight of Oblivion!” A monster that mainly looks like Anima, but with the opening somewhat more open and Black Luster Soldier, with his clothes turned into pitch black and dark red, his hair turned into a ghastly silver, and carrying a dark violet sword with a blood red blade in his hands, chained inside of the opening. Hotaru's new monster, Black Luster Soldier-Knight of Oblivion, has stats of 4000/3500!

 

Bonz is somewhat scared of Hotaru's new monster and says, trying to sound calm and in control, “Oh, yeah? That monster may be more powerful than mine, but it won't help y-you!”

 

Hotaru then states, “Guess you don't know about my monster's special abilities, do you? First, by discarding my entire hand to the graveyard, my monster destroys all other monsters on the field and we lose 500 life-points times the number of monsters that we lose!” Hotaru then discards her entire hand to the graveyard and Vampire Lord, Despair from the Dark, and Zombie Warrior are all destroyed with Hotaru losing 500 life-points and Bonz losing 1000 life-points, immediately. Hotaru then calls out, “Plus, thanks to my still-activate Coffin Seller Trap card, you lose an addition 600 life-points because I sent two more monsters to the graveyard!” With that, another 600 of Bonz's life-points are lost thanks to Hotaru's Coffin Seller Trap card.

Kari yells out, happily, “All right! Hotaru has got his life-points exposed to attack!”

 

Hotaru then states, “Finally, I give up 2000 of my life-points in order to increase my monster's attack and defense points by the same amount of my opponent's life-points for one turn! And since you have currently 5000 life-points, my monster's power increases by that much!” Hotaru's life-points then drop by 2000 points and Hotaru's Black Luster Soldier-Knight of Oblivion's stats then increase from 4000/3500 to 9000/8500!

 

Danny then states, amazed, “Incredible! Hotaru's monster has 9,000 attack points and more than enough to send this bone-faced freak packing!”

 

Bonz then calls out, in disbelief, “No way, this can't be happening!”

 

Hotaru then commands, in a strong and serious tone not seen in her before, “Sorry, but this duel is over and you have given me no other choice! Now, Black Luster Soldier-Knight of Oblivion, direct attack on Bonz and wipe out the rest of his life-points! Finish this duel with Sword of Ultimate Suffering! Attack!” The chains that held Black Luster Soldier in Anima's `shell' break open, expect for the ones on his legs, his eyes glow a bright silver, his sword gathers light and dark energy, and then Black Luster Soldier fires a huge beam of light and dark at Bonz, which plasters into him and he screams in real pain as the rest of life-points is `wiped out'.

Hotaru: 2500

Bonz: 0

 

After Black Luster Soldier-Knight of Oblivion's attack is finished, the remaining holograms on the field disappears, the Seal of Orichalcos condenses until it engulfs Bonz, and he scream out, as his soul is taken away, “NO! PLEASE SPARE ME! HELP! DON'T TAKE MY SSSOUUULLL . . .!!” But it was too late, when the seal vanishes from the ground, Bonz's soulless body then falls backward onto the ground with his back to the pavement.

 

Serena growls in annoyance and says, pretty serious tone, “Even though he was creepy and a jerk, no one deserves that fate! This madness has got to stop!”

 

Davis tells Serena, “Sooner or later, it will Serena! Personally, I hope sooner rather than later!” Takuya then goes over to Bonz's soulless body and knees over him.

 

Kouji tells Takuya, concerned, “Hey, Takuya, be careful! Who know what still may be on him, soul or no soul?!”

 

Takuya then spots what he is looking for on Bonz's soulless body, takes out a tournament digivice, and says, “Don't worry, he doesn't have anything else other than this! With Davis' `influence' with Pegasus, I managed to get the tournament `role book', the information on the participants in the tournament, and found out that this weasel came in just recently. . . about one day before the opening ceremonies.”

 

Cody then says, “Which means that our enemy might already has `infiltrators' in the tournament, already, gathering souls for the Great Leviathan's and Sin's revivals!”

 

Ken tells Cody, “That's a good bet, Cody!”

 

Takuya then comes over to Hotaru, gives her the digivice that he took from Bonz' soulless body, and tells her, “Here. Since Bonz is or was, in this case, a member of this tournament, means that this is an official Duelist Kingdom 2 tournament, and you are entitled to his digivice.”

 

Hotaru nods her head and tells Takuya, “Thanks, Takuya.”

 

Rini runs up to Hotaru and tells her, happily, “That was great, Hotaru! You were so amazing out there!”

 

TK comes up to Hotaru and tells her, just as excitedly, “Yeah, Hotaru! You had me. . . I mean, all of us worried out there, but you beat Bonz at his own horror show!”

 

Hotaru gives her classic smile and tells TK, “Thanks, TK! Sorry that I worried all of you!” TK couldn't help himself by blush a little and Davis couldn't help but giggle softly at this.

 

Just then Kari grabs our Digidestined of Miracles by the collar and tells him, “Before we were rudely interrupted, Daisuke, we were saying that you and I were going on a double date with Serena and Darien, remember?” Davis stutters, in surprise and confusion, as Kari begins to drag him away by his collar and Serena grabs Darien by his shirt arm, surprising him greatly.

 

Serena tells Darien, in a mix of sarcasm and her old nice tone, “You, too, Darien-chan, I hate to be rude, but I'm not taking `no' for an answer and we are going on that date even if I've got to drag you all the way.”

 

As Serena and Kari drag their boyfriends away, the other heroes and heroines look on them with a mixture of confusion and humor on their faces and Rei says, “I don't know if I want to feel confused or wonder about Serena's new look and newest `personality changes'.”

 

However, Tai, Matt, Yolei, and Sora could help themselves but laugh as Kari is the one dragging Davis around and Sora says, in a humored tone, “It looks like the girlfriend is `forcing' a date upon the boyfriend. Guess Davis and Darien wasn't expecting this to happen, huh?”

 

Lita then says, nervously, “I'm not sure if I'm going to get use to Serena and her `personality and mood swings'. I'm not sure what Serena's personality will be next.”

 

TK nods his head and says, “Personally, Lita, I agree the same with Kari.” However, Amara, Michelle, and Trista didn't show any confusion or humor about the situation and they are wondering about the Princesses of the Moon and Sun Kingdoms with their changes in clothing and personalities.

 

Rika then states, “What are we waiting for?! We've got duels to fight and bad guys' butts to kick!” Rika, Takato, Danny, Diana, Takuya, Zoe, and Hotaru then head off with the other scouts, Digidestined, Tamers, and the Odaiba Digidestined's/Tamers' Digimon head in another direction from Serena, Darien, Davis, and Kari, while Zoey and the Tokyo Mew-Mews went back inside since they with Elliott and Wesley were left in charge of the cyber-café during the tournament, and Veemon, Gatomon, and BlackGatomon then head off to follow their partners to wherever they were going on their date.

 

(Inside of the enemy fortress; A few minutes later)

 

We find all of the members of Dark Digidestined, Dark Tamers, and Dark Moon assembled in a huge platform overlooking a large Zoid bay in the base with Saber Fangs, Dark Horns, Redlers, and Guysacks inside and with them is Yami Marik, Yami Bakura, and Seymour.

 

Seymour tells our villain alliance, “Very impressive weapon machina that you have here. Such machina have never been seen on Spira for over one thousand years.”

 

Yami Bakura then says, in his usual tone, “However, I don't think you brought us here to be amazed by your amazing destructive weapons, so, why did you bring us here?”

 

DD tells Yami Bakura in response, “That's right. So far, we have gathered souls for the Great Leviathan and Sin, but so far, we've lost the duels involving those blasted warriors, thus far, and those strong souls would be very helpful for one plans in more ways than one.”

 

Yami Bakura smirks and says, in a dark taunting tone, “Guess none of you are duelist enough to take them on, are you?!”

 

DY roars at Yami Bakura, angrily, “Hey, watch it, ass! We are the ones who brought you and Marik's dark side from the Shadow Realm and we can put you back there just as easily!”

 

DD tells DY, in a strong and calm tone, “DY, please calm down!”

 

DM tells Yami Bakura, “We might have had some `set-backs' with our minions, but we feel that one of you can take out those warriors without much trouble using the powers of the Millennium Ring and Rod.”

 

DK then gives Yami Marik the Winged Dragon of Ra card and tells him, “And we want you to take out one of the Interdimensional Warriors. You can use the new power infused in the Millennium Rod to send any souls you capture from the Shadow Realm into a special `Shadow World' where they will be used for Sin's and the Great Leviathan's revivals. I trust that you can do the job with your Egyptian God Card returned to you.”

 

Yami Marik tells our alliance of villains, confidently, “Of course, I will make those fools beg for mercy before I'm done with them! And the unfortunate soul that has to face me will duel in the worst Shadow Game that I will ever create!” Yami Marik then laughs with a great evil cackle that can put fear into any `normal' opponent that hasn't faced him before or isn't `gifted' with great powers.

 

(Somewhere within Odaiba; Early in the Afternoon)

 

By this time, Rika, Zoe, Takuya, and Diana has each fought and won one duel, each, gaining one tournament digivice, each, as well. Now, we found Danny `fighting' a duel with Johnny Steps, a dancer duelist who Tea beat in dancing video game in an arcade and who Yami beat in a Duel Monsters' match back at Yugi's homeworld.

Currently, Danny has only one face-down monster on the field, with two cards face-down, and four cards in his hand, while Johnny Steps has Spirit of the Harp enhanced by a Horn of Light magic card (800/2800) in defense mode, one Sonic Maid with a Axe of Despair magic card (2200/0), one face-down card, and four cards in his hand. However, bad news for Danny, it is Johnny Steps' turn and he draws one card from his deck.

 

Johnny Steps then tells Danny, “Time for Johnny Steps to teach you a lesson or two! For my first number, I play this!” Johnny Steps then puts one card in his magic/trap slot and calls out, “The magic card Polymerization! This allows me to fuse my Witch of the Black Forest with my Lady of Faith to create my greatest rock and roll monster!” Just then Witch of the Black Forest (1100/1200) and Lady of Faith (1100/800) appear on the field and go into a vortex as Johnny Steps puts the monster cards in the graveyard, puts the fusion monster card on his duel disk, and he calls out, “Making his Duelist Kingdom tournament debut on center-stage is my mighty Musician King!” Out of the vortex comes the monster known as Musician King (1750/1500) comes to the field in attack mode! Johnny Steps then yells out, “Now to reveal my face-down card! Metalmorph!” Johnny Step's face-down card is revealed to be the Metalmorph Trap card and Johnny Steps declares, “Now, my Musician King has been giving 300 attack and defense point boost and plus, my Trap allows my monster to increase his strength whenever he plays his ripping tunes!” Johnny Steps' monster then gains a metal spiked jacket and neck-collar and his stats go to 2050/1800! Johnny Steps then calls out, “Time to rock and roll! Musician King, play some tunes for his face-down monster!”

 

Just then Danny calls out, “Sorry, not this turn! Reveal face-down card! Threatening Roar!” Danny's face-down card is revealed to be the Threatening Roar Trap card and then a huge roar-like sound wave fills the field!

 

Johnny Steps covers his ears and calls out, “Yeow! What with that noise?!”

 

Danny tells Johnny Steps, “My Trap card fills the field with animal-like roar so loud that it makes even the strongest of monsters cower in fear! And my opponent can't declare an attack for this turn!”

 

Johnny Steps then puts one card in his magic/trap slots and yells out, “Okay, I place one card face-down and end my turn!”

 

Danny then draws one card from his hand and calls out, “Fine! It is time to end this duel!” Danny then calls out, “Reveal my face-down monster! Magician of Faith!” Danny's face-down monster is revealed to be the Magician of Faith (300/400), now, in attack mode! Danny then states, “My monster allows me to bring back on card from the graveyard and I chose this! Sage's Stone!” Just then the Sage's Stone magic card comes out of Danny's graveyard pile and back into his hand. Danny then states, “Now, I sacrifice my Magician of Faith to summon my Dark Magician Girl in attack mode!” Magician of Faith then turns into particles as she is sent into the graveyard and Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700) replaces her on the field in attack mode! Danny then puts the card he took from his graveyard into the magic/trap slot and declares, “Now, I play the Sage's Stone I took from my graveyard and summon Dark Magician from my deck!” Danny takes the monster card from his deck, puts it on his duel disk, and Dark Magician (2500/2100) appears by Dark Magician Girl in attack mode!

 

Johnny Steps declares, “Those two won't get past my rocking monsters!”

 

Danny smiles and tells Johnny Steps, “They might not, but this one will! Now, I sacrifice both magicians in order to summon this! My Sorcerer of Dark Magic!” Just then Danny's two magicians vanish in a stream of lights and Sorcerer of Dark Magic (3200/2800) takes their place in attack mode! Danny tells his opponent, “My new monster allows me to weaken one of your monsters by 500 points times each magician monster in my graveyard and with my Magician of Faith, Dark Magician Girl, and Dark Magician in my Graveyard, your Musician King loses 2000 attack points as well as make all of your Trap cards useless!”

 

Johnny Steps yells out, worriedly, “Oh no!” Musician King then drops from 2050/1800 to 50/1800!

 

Danny then puts one card in his graveyard and declares, “But I'm not done, yet! I activate my Merlin's Rod magic card!” Just then Danny's other face-down card is revealed to be a magic card with a picture of specter that looks like Yuna's Nirvana staff and then it's hologram appears in Sorcerer of Dark Magic's right hand, replacing his old magic specter. Danny tells Johnny, “I need to sacrifice one magic card from my hand to activate this magic card and in order to keep it active, I need to sacrifice one magic card on each of my turns or it is sent to the graveyard, but this card doubles the power of any magician monster I equip this card to! So, now, my Sorcerer of Dark Magic has enough power to wipe your monster with 6350 of your life-points!”

 

Diana then calls out, happily, “All right! Danny has got this duel won!”

 

Danny then calls out, “Sorcerer of Dark Magic, silence his Musician King once and for with Celestial Blast! Attack now!” Danny's Sorcerer then aims his new specter at Johnny Steps' Musician Kings, fires a solar flare-like magic attack at it, and destroying it, taking out the rest of Johnny Steps' life-points with it.

After that the remaining holograms vanish from the field, their duel disk return to stand-by mode, and Danny tells Johnny Steps, “Good duel, Johnny. All I want from you is your digivice, if you don't mind?”

 

Johnny then asks, “What about my rarest card?”

 

Danny tells Johnny Steps, “Don't worry about it, Johnny. I don't need any new cards and plus, I don't want to take a card from someone's deck that they worked hard on.”

 

Johnny Steps hands over his digivice to Danny and tells Danny, “You're all right, kid. Later.” Johnny Steps then runs off to find the nearest arcade, to show that he is still one of the best `dancing duelists' around, no matter which world he is in.

 

Danny then says, “Well, that was easier than I expected. Ever since that duel with Yami and `talk' from Tea, Johnny Steps must have taken turn his life around and make some `corrections' in his life and personality.”

 

Hotaru then says, “Well, it wouldn't surprise me. When Tea gives one of her `pep talks', she always brings out the good and the best in everyone she meets.”

 

Takato nods his head in agreement with Hotaru and says, “Yeah, Tea always gave me that impression when we were in hers and Yugi's homeworld.”

 

Rika then tells her boyfriend, “Takato, I think that you should stop gawking and start trying to find an opponent. Thanks to those jerks, yesterday, you are now the only one among us that hasn't won one more digivice.”

 

Takato rubs his head in embarrassment and says, kind of nervous tone, “Yeah, I still only have the one digivice that I got at the start of the competition, but it is hard to find opponent's since everyone knows that one of the elite duelists trained by the King of Games, Yugi Moto.”

 

Just then, as if on some kind of cue, Yugi's voice calls out, “Hey, everyone!” When our heroes and heroines look to the source of Yugi's voice, they find Yugi, Joey, Tristan, and Tea coming up to all of them.

 

Zoe then states, “Hey, Tea, what are you, Yugi, Joey, and Tristan doing here?”

 

Joey tells Zoe, in reply, “What does it look like we are doing? We are participating in the tournament and looking for all of you!”

 

Tristan then says, “We wanted to see how you are doing. Yugi has three digivices and Joey has two digivices.” Yugi and Joey then display their digivices to the others.

 

Takuya then tells them, “That's good! So far, only Takato and Kari hasn't won a new digivice, yet, but they will get there!”

 

Yugi then tells Danny, “Hey, Danny, we saw your duel with Johnny Steps! That was a great duel!”

 

Danny smiles and tells Yugi, “Thanks, Yugi!”

 

Rika then tells them, “We would have won more digivices, yesterday, but those jerks who are our enemies kidnapped Serena.”

 

Tea then asks, worriedly, “Oh, is Serena all right?”

 

Takato tells Tea, “Don't worry, Tea, all of us rescued her and she is just fine, physically, but we saw her new `style of clothing'.”

 

Tristan then asks, “What do you mean by that Takato?”

 

Rei answers with, “Serena and Kari radically changed their looks to make themselves look like sexy and hard-core female street fighters or something and we don't know why!”

 

Joey then asks, “Why did they do that? And by the way, where are they?”

 

Tai tells Joey, “My nee-chan dragged her boyfriend with Serena dragged her boyfriend, literally, on a double date and they didn't take `no' for an answer.”

 

Tea then asks, amazed, “Serena and Kari `forced' their boyfriends on a double date?!”

 

Yolei then says, “All of us didn't know to either be laughing or look at Kari and Serena with complete shock and confusion at their new personalities to match their new looks.”

 

Yugi then asks, “Do you know where to find them?”

 

Izzy answers, “Kari and Serena didn't tell any of us where they are dragging Davis and Darien to, but I have got a program that allows us to track Davis', Kari's, and even Serena's new digivice. I've download the program to Ami's sailor scout computer and the younger Digidestined's D-Terminals, we can find them anytime.”

 

Ami then takes out her sailor computer, types in the new program that Izzy gave inputted into her computer, and says, “I've got them. They are at the Odaiba Shopping District.” Just then something else `activated' with Ami's computer and she states, “Wait! My computer is tracking a huge amount of dark energy heading for the Odaiba Shopping District.” Our seven Interdimensional Warriors then `feel' the dark energy that's nearby.

 

Hotaru then says, “I know what energy that is. It is the Millennium Rod, I can feel it.”

 

Just then Yami tells Yugi, telepathically, “Yugi, I think that I should take over, now!”

 

Yugi nods his head and replies, “Right, partner!” Yugi's Millennium Puzzle then gives off a huge bright glow of light and Yugi calls out, “Yu-Gi-Oh!” In Yugi's place is the ancient pharaoh that dwells within the puzzle, only known as Yami.

 

Yami then says, “There is only one person that can use the Millennium Rod and I know his evil aura anywhere. It is Marik's dark side.”

 

Joey then states, annoyed, “Great, why did it have to be him? It gets me angry every time I hear about Marik's dark side.”

 

Takato then says, “We better get going. Kari, Serena, Darien, and Davis might be in danger.” Every hero and heroine nods their heads in agreement and all of them head off to the Odaiba Shopping District.

 

(Odaiba Shopping District; Around the same time)

 

Talking about our two couples, we find them, somewhere, in the Odaiba Shopping District with Kari dueling a street-punk looking duelist named Mike with Serena cheering her on and Darien and Davis just watching and wondering about their girlfriends.

Kari had two monsters on the field, her Kuribandit (700/1000) and her Guardian Airtos (2500/2000), both in attack mode, one card face-down, and three cards in her hand. Mike, on the other hand, had three monsters, Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2400), a Dark Magician like Arkana used against Yami (2500/2100), and one Spear Dragon (1900/0) with the Tri-Horned Dragon and Dark Magician in attack mode and Spear Dragon in defense mode, one Guardian Treasure activate on the field, one card face-down, and no cards in his hand. However, it is Mike's turn and thanks to his Guardian Treasure magic card, he draws two cards instead of one.

 

Mike then commands, “Now, Tri-Horned Dragon, destroy her Guardian Airtos, now!” Tri-Horned Dragon then rushes in to destroy Kari's Guardian Airtos.

 

Kari then calls out, “No way! I sacrifice my Kuribandit!” Kuribandit then `explodes' into particles as it is sent to the graveyard. Kari then draws five cards from her deck and says, “When my little Kuribandit is sacrificed, I can draw five new cards, but only the magic and Trap card are kept in my hand. I must discard all of my monsters to the graveyard.” Kari then takes three cards from her hand and discards them to the graveyard.

 

Mike then yells out, confidently, “Sorry, sweetheart, I don't know how that will help you! It just makes me able to eliminate your life-points easier!” But when Tri-Horned Dragon's attack hits, a lot of electrical energy sparks around it and Tri-Horned Dragon gets thrown back. Mike then exclaims, “What in the hell just happened?!”

 

Kari then takes out one card from her graveyard and says, “Just now, I sent three monster cards to my graveyard, thanks to my Kuribandit's special ability, and one of them stopped your attack in its tracks!” Kari then holds out one Electromagnetic Turtle (0/1800) monster card in her hand and says, “My Electromagnetic Turtle in fact! This monster, when sent to the graveyard, leaves an electromagnetic field around any monster on the field that I chose and protects that monster from attack.”

 

Mike then growls and states, annoyed, “You chose your Guardian Airtos! Fine! I end my turn!”

 

Kari then draws one card from her deck, puts into her magic/trap slot, and calls out, “I play Pot of Greed! Allowing me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Kari then draws two cards from deck, puts one card in the magic/trap slot, and calls out, “Finally, I place one card face-down and end my turn!” Just then a hologram of another face-down card appears behind Guardian Airtos.

 

Mike then draws two more cards from his deck, thanks to his Guardian Treasure magic card, and calls out, “My move!” Mike then states, “First, I play this magic card! Cost Down!” Mike then puts the card in the magic/trap slot and declares, “This allows me to summon a more powerful monster easily since its star level goes down my two! Now, I sacrifice my Spear Dragon in to summon another dragon!” Spear Dragon then disappears in a stream of light as it is sent to the graveyard and Mike calls out, “Time to meet my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!” In Spear Dragon's place, Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) appears in attack mode! Mike then commands, “Now, Blue-Eyes, destroy her Guardian Airtos with Burst Stream of Destruction!” Mike's dragon then fires a beam of lightning energy, destroying Guardian Airtos, and taking 500 of life-points with it!

 

Kari then states, “You've just activated my Trap! Rope of Life!” Kari's face-down card is revealed to be the Rope of Life Trap card. While Kari discards her entire hand, she tells Mike, “My Trap allows me to bring back the monster you just destroyed provided I discard my entire hand in the process, but my monster comes back with 800 more attack points! Guardian Airtos then reappears on the field with her stats increased to 3300/2000! Kari then declares, “But that's not all! Reveal Disgraceful Charity!” Kari's other face-down card is revealed to be the Disgraceful Charity Trap card, hologram of the `creature' on the card appears, and shoots beam at both duel disk, making them glow red. Kari then states, “My other Trap activates when one or both of us discard card or cards by a magic or trap card effect. Since that's the case with me, it allows to redraw the six cards I used to activate Rope of Life.” Kari then takes the six cards she put in the graveyard back into her hand.

 

Mike then states, “Okay, I switch my Dark Magician into defense mode and end my turn!” Mike's Dark Magician then switches from attack mode into defense mode.

Kari then draws one card from her deck and states, “Okay, time for me to end this!” Kari then smiles at the card she had draw, puts it into her duel disk, and calls out, “Now, I play Harpie's Feather Duster! Destroying your face-down card with Guardian Treasure magic card!” A huge gust of powerful winds then destroy Mike's face-down card and his Guardian Treasure magic card.

 

Mike then thinks, panicky, “Crap! That sexy whore destroyed my Mirror Force Trap card! My monsters are vulnerable to attack!”

 

Kari then puts one card in the magic/trap slot and calls out, “Now, I play Polymerization! Allowing to fuse my Dark Magician and my Buster Blader together to form. . .!” Just then Dark Magician (2500/2100), like the one Yugi/Yami uses, and Buster Blader (2600/2300) appears on the field and go into a vortex as Kari discard the monster cards in the graveyard. Kari then declares, “Now, I call my all-powerful Dark Paladin to the field! Out of the vortex comes Dark Paladin (2900/2400) in attack mode and he goes beside Guardian Airtos. Kari then states, “Thanks to my Dark Paladin's special effect, he gains 500 attack points for every dragon monster on the field and in our graveyards! And thanks to your Spear Dragon in the grave and your two dragons on the field, my Dark Paladin gains 1500 additional attack points!” Dark Paladin then gains 1500 attack points causing his stats to rise from 2900/2400 to 4400/2400! Kari then puts one more card in her magic/trap slots and declares, “Finally, I play my final magic card! Diffusion Wave Motion! Once I give up 1000 of my life-points, my Dark Paladin can attack all of your monsters at once!” Kari's life-points then drop by 1000 and Dark Paladin then extends his mystical into the air as it begins to glow with a pure white energy orb.

 

Mike then calls out, in disbelief, “No! There is no way a girl like you can defeat me, Kamiya!”

 

Kari then replies, “I just did!” Kari then commands, “Dark Paladin, attack now and destroy all three of his monsters!” Dark Paladin then sends waves of mystical energy that `slice' all three of Mike's monsters into pieces and takes 2950 life-points with them. Kari then declares, “And now, my Guardian Airtos can take out the rest of your life-points!”

 

Mike roars at Kari, angrily, “You bitch! This was your plan all along!”

 

Kari tells Mike, in a sarcastic tone, “About time you figured it out.” Kari then commands, “Guardian Airtos, finish him off with direct attack! Celestial Wind Flare Strike!” Guardian Airtos then fires a beam of energy from her mouth, strikes Mike directly, and he screams out as he is thrown to the ground on his bottom with the rest of his life-points going with it.

When Mike gets to his feet, Kari comes over and tells him, “Okay, hand over your digivice to me.”

 

Mike then takes out a knife and says, “I've got something for you, you bitch!” But before even Mike could make a move, Serena grabs him by the neck, slams him to the wall, holds him up with her super-strength, takes Mike's knife, and crushes it with her left hand, scaring the hell out of Mike.

 

Serena tells Mike, in a plain tone, “Just hand over your digivice or there is going to be `problems'.” Mike gives Serena his digivice, Serena drops him to the ground, and Mike then runs away. Serena then hands Kari the tournament digivice that she won from Mike to Kari and tells her, “Great job, Kari.”

 

Kari tells Serena, “Thanks a lot, Serena. You really helped a lot.”

 

Serena tells Kari, with a smile, “No problem, Kari. You are family after all.” Kari and Serena then go over to their two boyfriends, who were watching the whole thing.

 

Davis tells Kari, a bit nervously, “Great duel, Kari. You've got your first digivice.”

 

Kari smiles and tells Davis, “Thanks, Daisuke. Now, all the three of us need is six more, each, to get to the second round.”

 

Serena then says, “Now, with that duel over and that ass sent packing, why don't we continue with our double date?”

 

Davis then tries to say, “Well, Serena, Darien and I have got to talk to the both of you. . .”

 

Kari then interrupts and calls out, “Wow! That's a new dance club!” When everyone looks to where Kari is pointing, they look to see a new rock and roll dance club across the street.

 

Serena then states, “Wow! Come on, you, two, let's check it out!” Serena and Kari then drag their two boyfriends, with nervous and wondering looks on their faces into the dance club. Inside of the dance club looks like well-made tables set around a multi-colored dance floor with a crystal prism orb shinning multi-colored light on the whole place and the DJ on his platform is playing the 90s dance music known as `Sweet Dreams', the club mix style.

 

Kari exclaims, “This place is so cool! I'll check it out! The three of you can get us a table!”

 

Serena smiles and tells Kari, “You got it, girlfriend!” Kari then runs off while Serena goes and finds a table near the dance floor with Darien and Davis. Davis and Darien were looking at each other, trying to figure out how to talk to `girlfriends gone wild', so to speak, and then three young women, 18 to 20, then come over to them.

 

One, an 18 year old red head with dark blue eyes, goes over to Darien and says, in an enticing tone, “Hey, tall, dark, and sexy, the name is Trina, want to dance?”

 

Serena gets up from her seat and says, in annoyed tone, “Hey, girl, he has already got a girlfriend. Me.”

 

Trina goes over to Serena and asks, not impressed, “You? You look like some kind of street punk girl to me.”

 

Serena then tells Trina, in a nasty tone, “The problem with assumptions is that they are usually wrong, but my assumption that you are just another whore looking for a screw might be correct.”

 

Trina growls at Serena and yells at her, angrily, “You take that back!”

 

Serena then tells Trina, in a calm tone, “Keep your hands off my boyfriend and I will.”

 

Trina then asks, in a serious tone, “What if I don't?”

 

Serena then answers, “Here your answer: kiss my ass, bitch.”

 

Darien then thinks in his own mind, “Is it just me or has Serena cursed her?”

 

Trina roars in anger and is about to attack Serena, but then Kari's voice calls out, “Is there a problem, Serena?!” Just then Kari, with Veemon, Gatomon, and BlackGatomon following her, comes up to Serena, Trina, and the two other girls with her.

 

Serena tells Kari, “Yeah, cousin Kari, these little whores are trying to take our boyfriends away.”

 

Kari's expression becomes one of annoyance and says, in a fake calm, but really annoyed tone, “Really?”

 

Trina then swings her right fist at Serena and yells out, angrily, “What if I am?!” But Serena easily holds her right palm in defense and when Trina hits Serena's palm, she pulls back and holds her right hand in pain. Trina then calls out, “Damn! What is your skin made of?! Pure steel?!”

 

Serena then states, in a serious tone, “Do you want to find out?”

 

Another girl, around 19 years of age with dark blue mid-waist hair and emerald green eyes, points to Kari and says, “Hey, I know you, you're Kari Kamiya, one of those Digidestined, here, in Odaiba! You were the one that disappeared five years ago with Daisuke Motomiya!”

 

Serena then says, “And I'm Serena, Kari's cousin, I'm a Digidestined, too, and we're not girls that don't take our boyfriends being taken from us, lightly.”

 

Kari gives a serious look and she tells the girls, in a serious tone, “No kidding. We love our boyfriends a lot and we don't take kindly to girls trying to seduce them.”

 

Trina then gets to her feet, the other two girls then whisper something to her, her eyes become wide, and she says, nervously, “Okay, later.” The three girls then take off to find `other boys'.

 

Kari then tells Serena, “Well, I'm glad that's done and over with.”

 

Serena then asks Kari, “So, Kari, what do you think about this place?”

 

Kari tells Serena, “It's pretty amazing! It has got an arcade, snack and salad bars, `relaxation centers', and. . . an area for private talks between couples.”

 

Serena gives a wide mischievous grin when Kari mentions the `private talks area' and tells the boys, in a bit of mischievous tone, “Come on boys, let's go.”

 

Davis and Darien look at each other and think at the same time, “Oh boy!” Davis and Darien then follow their girlfriends to wherever they are leading them, but they are somewhat glad because they need to talk to them.

 

(In the `Couples Area' of the Dance Club; A short time later *WARNING: SECOND NC-17 LEMON AND ADULT SITUATION COMING UP*)

 

Inside of this `couples area' of the dance club, there seems to be a soft and relaxing couch for making out and one large bed for more `adult situations'.

 

Serena quickly locks the door with the key that she had gotten from the dance club owner and says to Darien, who is with her, alone, in this room, “Kari told me that the `owner' of this dance club has his own dark side. Turns out that he is a high school genius that already graduate college with a doctoral degree in business and master degree in law. He figures that plenty of teens and young college students would have `rebellious tendencies' and try to have `fun' with those of the opposite sex.”

 

Darien comes up to Serena, puts his hands on her shoulder, and when Serena looks at him, he has a look of worry in his eyes and he tells her, in a calm, but worried tone, “Serena, I've got to talk with you. You are changing, radically, before all of our eyes and I don't want to say. Please Serena, what's going on with you? Please tell me.”

 

Serena sighs, takes a deep breath, gently and nicely takes Darien's hands off her shoulders, and tells Darien, “Darien-chan, this is very hard to explain. But there are times that my `dark side', Sailor Chaos Moon, are appealing to return to.”

 

Darien is surprised and shocked by Serena's `admission' and Darien asks Serena, perplexed, “Serena, why would you say something like that?!”

 

Serena then looks at Darien and he sees the honesty in her eyes as she says, “Because `she' is strong, takes control, has no problem asserting herself and her feelings, tough, and everything, deep down in my heart, I want to be, expect for the evil and nasty part.” Darien can only listen on with awe as Serena tells Darien, “During much of my childhood, I had been picked on by bullies and stuff, so, I became strong to stop them, but that they only got me into trouble whenever I stood up to them and when I hurt that bully that picked on one of my only friends, I was horrified at what I had done and hid my true personality for that reason as well as trying to get more friends, but that's just got me `hurt' even more when I held back. So, now, I trying to be my `strong and mature' self, again, but I'm still holding back and after that last `encounter' with Darkmoon, made me realize that I shouldn't hold back because. . . because I nearly gave in to her. I hate to admit, but the truth is, I nearly gave in, however, I remember my true friends and stuff and all of you came in to make sure that I didn't give in. Now, I want to be a stronger and tougher like my `dark side' is, but not to the point that I hurt my friends and you.”

 

Darien puts his left hand on Serena's cheek and tells her, in kind and loving tone, “I think that I'm understanding what you are saying, but what about what you said earlier?”

 

Serena nods her head, with a few tears coming out of her eyes that she wipes away, and says, “Well, ever since learning about Rini, my future daughter, Crystal Tokyo, and all, I feel that all of my decisions or I'm making all of my decisions based on something that's supposed to happen later. Kari and I `went over' our lives and I've been feeling like that for some time. Darien, I feel that I'm supposed to be this great heroine and queen back in my world and that it is taking over my life. I feel like I don't have one of my own, that I supposed to act and do things that other people based on what they thought about me when I was acting weaker and dumber than I really am, like I have no control over my life, and I'm sick and tried of it. Kari and I decided to get tough, take control of our lives, and not something in future or what others expect of us to control us. Ever since the first day I became Sailor Moon, I've felt control and now, I want to live my life the way I chose. I care about Rini and want her to be born and live, but I want to have full control of my life, my actions, do what I do to do, and be what I want to be. So, I've changed my style and attitude with Kari to this `tough girl' style and I don't care what others think.”

 

Darien puts his hand on Serena's cheeks, kisses her on the lips, and whispers to her right ear, “Serena-chan, I never knew that you felt this way and I'm sorry that if any of us made you feel this way. But I know that deep down, no matter what you look like and what your real personality is like, you are still the Serena, who is kind, caring, and pure-hearted, that I know and love. I love you, a lot, and I'm so glad that you are taking control of your life.”

Takato then states, “Now, I play my face-down card! Go, Disgraceful Charity!” Just then Takato's face-down card is revealed to be the Disgraceful Charity Trap card and Takato tells Yami Marik, “My Trap activates whenever one or both of us have discards cards from their hands thanks to a magic or trap card effect. Since this is the case for my Guardian Treasure and me, I get to put the cards in my graveyard back in my hand.” Takato then re-draws the four cards in his graveyard. Takato then tells Yami Marik, “Since Guardian Grarl is a special summon, I play another monster in attack mode! Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack mode!” Just then Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) appears on the field in attack mode and Takato then puts one card in the magic/trap slot, stating, “Finally, I place one card face-down and end my turn!”

 

Joey then asks, wondering about Takato's Elemental Hero Sparkman, “Whoa! What kind of monster is that?”

Yami Marik then puts another card in his magic/trap slot and declares, “Now, I can play this! Shallow Grave! This allows both of us to summon any monsters from our graveyards and place them in defense mode! However, your graveyard is empty, while my graveyard contains two powerful beasts that I place there myself! Come back to me, my mighty Helpoemer!” Just then in a cloud of shadows, Helpoemer (2000/1500) comes to the field in defense mode!

Dark Magic Attack!” Dark Magician then fires a beam of mystical energy from his specter, destroying Revival Jam, but since it is defense mode, Yami Marik's life-points stay the same.

 

Yami Marik then declares, “It doesn't matter to me! I pay 1000 of my life-points to bring Revival Jam back on my next turn!” Yami Marik's life-points then drop by 1000 and Yami Marik then declares, “Now, I reveal my face-down cards! Card of Safe Return and Life-Absorbing Machine!” Just then Marik's face-down cards are revealed to be the Trap card Life-Absorbing Machine and the Card of Safe Return magic card. Yami Marik then tells Takato, “My Trap will restore half of the life-points that I spent last turn on Revival Jam's special effect and my Card of Safe Return will allow me to draw one card from my deck every time a monster comes back from the graveyard! You fool! You will never win!”

This allows me to summon a more powerful monster easier by lowering its star level by 2 for one turn! That fool Kaiba for once had a good idea with this card. It comes in quite handy. Now, I will sacrifice my Revival Jam to summon my Tri-Horned Dragon in attack mode!” Revival Jam then vanishes in a `puff' of smoke and then Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2400) in attack mode. Yami Marik then states, “Plus, I add this all powerful magic card to him! The Black Pendant card! This magic card increase his attack points by 500 as long he is wearing this pendant!” Yami Marik then puts the card in the magic/trap slot and the Black Pendant card appears around Tri-Horned Dragon's neck, increasing his power to 3350/2400! Yami Marik then declares, “Now, my beast, destroy his Guardian Grarl, now! Tri-Horned Slash!” Tri-Horned Dragon then goes in and slices Takato's Guardian Grarl to ribbons as well as taking 350 of his life-points with it. But then Takato groans out in extreme pain as he feel as his own energy is being drained from him.

 

Davis then calls out, horrified and wondering, “What's going on?! Is this dangerous `twist' of Marik's Shadow Game?!”

Polymerization!” Takato's face-down card is revealed to be the Polymerization magic card and Takato tells Yami Marik, “This allows me to fuse my Dark Magician with my Buster Blader to form a new monster!” Just then a hologram of Buster Blader (2600/2300) appears beside Dark Magician as they go into a vortex as they fuse together while Takato discards the two monsters to the graveyard and puts the fusion monster on his duel disk, calling, “Now, meet Dark Paladin, the ultimate magical swordsman!” Out of the vortex comes Dark Paladin (2900/2400) in attack mode and Takato tells Yami Marik, “Thanks to my Dark Paladin's special ability, it gains 500 attack points for every dragon monster on the field or in our graveyards and thanks to your Tri-Horned Dragon, my monster gains 500 attack points!” Dark Paladin's stats then rise from 2900/2400 to 3400/2400, making its attack points stronger than Yami Marik's Tri-Horned Dragon! Takato then commands, “Dark Paladin, destroy his Tri-Horned Dragon, now!” Dark Paladin then attack and destroys Yami Marik's Tri-Horned Dragon, taking out 50 of Yami Marik's life-points, but Takato loses 500 of his own life-points, thanks to Black Pendant's second special effect and both of them groan from the loss of their life-energy.

 

Yami Marik tells Takato, tauntingly, “That move cost you more life-points than me, boy!”

 

Takato tells Yami Marik, his breath beginning to become heavy, “It is worth it to leave you without any defense.” Takato then puts one card in his magic/trap slot, stating, “Now, I put one card face-down and end my turn!”

Yami Marik then draws one card from his deck and declares, “My move!” Yami Marik then puts one card in his duel disk and calls out, “Now, I play my Pot of Greed! Allowing me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Yami Marik then draws his two cards, his eyes widen when he sees them, and he then says, “Well, it is time. Now, boy, time to feel the fury of the most powerful beast in any world, the Winged Dragon of Ra, my Egyptian God Card!” Everyone gasps in shock and horror at Yami Marik's declaration.

 

Takato then states, “But you have not even one single monster to sacrifice to summon your God Card!”

 

Yami Marik then tells Takato, “I will, soon enough!” Yami Marik then puts one card in his magic/trap slot and calls out, “Now, I play this! My Summoning of the Ancient One magic card!” Just then a magic card appears on the field with the picture of an alter with the Millennium Symbol in the center and graves on the bottom. Yami Marik then calls out, “Now, by sacrificing monsters with 8 or more stars from my hand, I can summon the monster that will bring my God Card out and begin your doom! And I've got the perfect one! My Masked Beast-Death Guardius will do nicely!” Just then a hologram of Masked Beast-Death Guardius (3300/2500) appears on the field and then vanishes as it is sent to the graveyard. Yami Marik then declares, “Now come forth, mighty King Apophasis, Lord of Death and Rebirth!” Just then a monster that looks he has the Goa'uld lord, Apophasis' head with the Millennium Symbol on his forehead, with a crown on his head, golden armor designed like snake-skin protecting his body, a pitch black cape on his back, and a staff with a gray skull on top and a long black staff that reach to the ground in this monster's right hand. This monster's stats is currently 2500/2450!

 

Takato then asks, “What will that monster do to my Dark Paladin, he still has 3400 attack points even though your dragon is still in the graveyard!”

 

Yami Marik then calls out, “My new monster allows me to summon up to three monsters from my graveyard for the price of 2000 of my life-points and sacrificing my monster to the graveyard as well, and since you have put my Revival Jam, Helpoemer, and Tri-Horned Dragon to the graveyard, I can summon them back to sacrifice to summon Ra!”

 

Yami then calls out, worriedly, “Oh no! If he summons Ra, then Takato is in grave danger!”

 

Yami Marik then calls out, “Now, I sacrifice my king of death and rebirth as well as give up 2000 of my life-points to summon all three monster in my graveyard!” Yami Marik's monster then disappears in a cloud of darkness and shadows and 2000 of his life-points are gone, but Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2400), Helpoemer (2000/1500), and Revival Jam (1500/500) return to the field in attack mode! Yami then states, “Plus, my magic card allows me to draw another card since monsters have been revived from my graveyard! But I won't need the extra card!” Yami Marik then draws one more card from his deck. Yami Marik then calls out, “Now, I sacrifice my Tri-Horned Dragon, Helpoemer, and Revival Jam to summon my Ultimate Beast. . . the Winged Dragon of Ra!” Just then a giant whirlwind compasses the field, a twister surrounds all three monsters, they turn into lights as they are sacrificed and sent to the graveyard, Yami Marik puts the card on his duel disk, and the a large golden orb appears in the sky. Yami Marik then declares, “Now, I must call out the ancient chant to unlock the Winged Dragon of Ra from the sphere of light it is locked in. Great beast of the sky, please hear my cry, transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight, envelop the deserts with your glow, and your rage upon my foe! Unlock your powers from deep within so that together we may win, appear in this shadow game as I call your name. . . Winged Dragon of Ra!” With one bright golden glow, the orb of light transforms into the most powerful of the Egyptian God Cards, the mighty Winged Dragon of Ra (6350/4400) in attack mode, and thanks to all three monsters that Yami Marik sacrificed, the Winged Dragon of Ra is way more powerful that Takato's Dark Paladin! Yami Marik then commands, “Now, my great beast of the sky, destroy his Dark Paladin with Almighty Blaze Cannon!” Winged Dragon of Ra then fires off a fireball of sun level of heat at Takato's Dark Paladin, destroying it instantly, and taking out 2950 of his life-points with one attack!

 

Rika then calls out, worriedly and horrified, “Takato, no!” Takato then falls to his knees since a major portion of his life-energy is gone thanks to Yami Marik's shadow game.

 

Yami Marik then yells out, “I will end my turn, now, since you have nothing left to defend against my great beast! The end is near for you, boy!”

Takuya then states, worriedly, “This is not good! Takato may still have more life-points then Marik, but he has the Winged Dragon of Ra on the field and Egyptian God Cards are immune to most magic, trap, and monster effects! And those that do work on them only last one turn!”

 

Rika then calls out, confidently and annoyed tone, “Takato has gotten through some worst time, so, don't give me any `gloom and doom' speech, Kanbara!”

 

Takato gets to his feet, draws two cards from his deck, and calls out, “Okay, my move, Marik!”

 

Yami Marik then says, confidently, “Like there is anything you can do, boy!”

 

When Takato looks at his hand, he says, with a wide grin on his face, “I can do a lot of damage. And now, I've the cards to take down your Winged Dragon of Ra as well as the rest of your life-points!”

 

Yami Marik calls out, in disbelief, “You lie! No monster has the power to defeat my Winged Dragon of Ra and plus, most Trap, magic, and monster effect don't effect it!”

 

Takato then puts one card in his duel disk and says, “We'll see about that, Marik. Now, I play my Fusion Sage magic card! Allowing me take another Polymerization card from my deck and add it to my hand!” Takato then takes the card out of the deck, reshuffles his deck, puts his deck back in his duel disk, and then puts the card in the magic/trap slot, declaring, “Now, I use my Polymerization card to fuse all three of my Blue-Eyes White Dragon to form one of my monster powerful beasts!” Just then three Blue-Eyes White Dragons (3000/2500) appear on the field and go in a vortex as Takato discards the monster cards into his graveyard with putting the fusion monster card on his duel disk. Takato then yells out, “Now, call forth my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!” Out of the vortex comes the three-headed dragon, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4500/3800), in attack mode! Takato then puts another card on his duel disk and declares, “Now, I sacrifice my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to summon my true ultimate monster from my deck! Arise, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!” Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon cracks apart and then explodes, leaving Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon (3000/2500) in his place in attack mode! Takato then declares, “Now, one of my monster's three powerful special abilities will come into play! My monster gains 300 attack points for every dragon in my graveyard! Since I've got four dragons at the moment, my Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon gains 1200 more attack points!” Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's stats go from 3000/2500 to 4200/2500!

 

Yami Marik, not threatened, tells Takato, “Ha! That creature is still weaker than my mighty Winged Dragon of Ra!”

 

Takato then calls out, “Not for long! Now, I play this!” Takato then holds up a card into the air and it glows with a bright light, in which, that light turns into the Legendary Dragon Critias, causing Takato to call out, “The Fang of Critias!”

 

Yami Marik then exclaims, shocked, “What in the name of Ra?! That's one of those Legendary Dragons that I heard about!”

 

Takato then declares, “That's right! Now, I reveal my face-down card! Mirror Force!” Takato's face-down card is revealed to be the Mirror Force Trap card and Takato declares, “I knew that this would be useless against your Winged Dragon of Ra, but not to my Legendary Dragon! Now, I combine Critias with Mirror Force!” Mirror Force Trap card then turns into a ball of aurora light that goes into Critias, engulfing him in a bright light. Takato then calls out, “Now, arise, Mirror Force Dragon!” Just then, in place of Critias, is the monster known as Mirror Force Dragon (2800/2400) in attack mode! Takato then exclaims, “But that's not all! Now, I combine Mirror Force Dragon with my Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon to form an all-new monster!” Just then Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon goes towards Mirror Force Dragon and when they `touch', they are encompassed in a bright light. Takato then calls out, “Now, I summon to the field, my Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon!” Out of the light, comes a monster with two sets of shining silver and crystal-blue versions of Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's wings on this monster's back, his dragon tail designed like Mirror Force Dragon's tail, but with Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's color and texture, the body of Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, Mirror Force Dragon's arms coming out of this monster's upper chest area, but with Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's color and texture, and Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's head, but with Mirror Force Dragon's head in two metallic eyeholes. This new dragon, Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon, current stats is 4000/4000! Takato then tells Yami Marik, “My new dragon has the more enhanced version of one of Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's abilities! It gains 500 attack points for every dragon monster in my graveyard! With the four dragon in there, my new dragon gains 2000 attack points! Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon's stats then go up from 4000/4000 to 6000/4000!

 

Yami Marik then roars out, annoyed, “But your monster is still weaker than mine!”

 

Takato then tells Yami Marik, with a smile and confident tone, “Did anyone tell you that first appearances can be deceiving?”

 

Yami Marik then says, annoyed tone in his voice still, “Just go!”

 

Takato then commands, “Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon, attack his Winged Dragon of Ra, now! Shining Aurora Blast!” Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon then fires a rainbow colored beam of electric energy at Yami Marik's Winged Dragon of Ra!

 

Kazu then calls out, horrified, “What's chummy doing?! His monster is weaker than his Egyptian God Card!”

 

Davis then tells Kazu, “Trust Takato, he wants that dragon to counter-attack.” When everyone looks at the Interdimensional Warriors, all of them have wide grins on their faces.

 

Yami Marik thinks in his own mind, confidently, “Foolish boy, do you think that you can beat my dragon with a weaker monster?!” Yami Marik then commands, “Counter-attack my great beast!” The Winged Dragon of Ra then fires its own attack, negating Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon's attack, and sending a huge amount of energy at Takato's monster. Yami Marik then declares, confidently and in a gloating fashion, “Say goodbye to your dragon and hello to the Shadow Realm, boy!”

Takato smiles and tells Yami Marik, “Wrong, Marik! I wanted your dragon to counter-attack, so, I can use my dragon's second special effect!” Takato then commands, “Go, Neutron Absorption Reflection!” Just then Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon `orb' in its chest starts to glow in rainbow colors and then the Winged Dragon of Ra's counter-attack is then absorbed into the wings of Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon!

 

Yami Marik exclaims, in disbelief, “What's going on?! How did your dragon absorb my dragon's attack?!”

 

Takato tells Yami Marik, with a wide grin on his face, “My dragon's special ability allows him to absorb your Winged Dragon of Ra's attack, adding his attack points to my dragon's attack points, and sends back your attack with my dragon's enhancing power right back at all of your monsters!”

 

Yami Marik then calls out, flabbergasted, “This can't be! You can't defeat my Winged Dragon of Ra!”

 

Takato tells Yami Marik, “I just did! Plus, thanks to my dragon's and your dragon's combined powers, my counter-attack will destroy the rest of your life-points and ending this duel!”

 

Yami Marik then yells out, in total disbelief, “This can't be happening!” The Winged Dragon of Ra's power is added to Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon giving him stats of 12,350/4000!

 

Takato then commands, “Now, Neutron Absorption Reflection, activate!” All of the Winged Dragon of Ra's power is combined with Blue-Eyes Shining Force Dragon's in his mouth and Takato's dragon fires the counter-attack that turns into waves of energy that destroy the Winged Dragon of Ra on contact and taking out the rest of Yami Marik's life-points!

 

Final Score:

Takato: 4200

Yami Marik: 0

 

As Yami Marik fades away into the Shadow Realm, he calls out, in disbelief, “How can this be?! How could I lose with the power of the most powerful Egyptian God Card on my side?! HOOOOWWWWWW. . . ?!” Yami Marik then disappears into the Shadow Realm leaving only his Millennium Rod, Duel Disk, and a tournament digivice behind. With Yami Marik gone, all of the dark magic of the Shadow Realm fades with him and then Takato collapses to his knees, somewhat wore out from Yami Marik's Shadow Duel.

 

Rika comes up to Takato and asks him, worriedly, “Are you all right, goggles?”

 

Takato looks at Rika, with somewhat tried eyes, and replies, “I'm just fine.”

 

Rika then tells Takato, in her usual annoyed tone, “Don't ever worry me like that, again, Takato or else?!” Rika then kisses Takato on the lips and then tells him, lovingly, “However, you did great out there, Takato. Great job.”

 

When Rika helps Takato his feet, he tells her, “Thanks, Rika.”

 

Serena, on the meanwhile, goes over, takes the Winged Dragon of Ra card, the tournament digivice, and the Millennium Rod, goes over to Takato, hands him the digivice and Winged Dragon of Ra, and tells him, “Marik's dark side must have taken this duel disk and tournament digivices from one unfortunate soul that he must have sent to the Shadow Realm, so, this is a tournament duel and these, now, belong to you.” Takato takes the Winged Dragon of Ra and the tournament digivice from Serena and Serena goes over to Yami and gives him the Millennium Rod.

 

Takato tells Serena, “Serena, I would like to ask for a favor?”

 

Serena asks Takato, “What is it, Takato?”

 

Takato then responds with, “Serena, would you trade your Obelisk the Tormentor card for my Winged Dragon of Ra card?”

 

Kazu then exclaims, “Hold up! Takato, you've got the most powerful of the Egyptian God Cards and you want to give it up just for another God Card?!”

 

Takato tells Kazu, “I just don't feel right with the Winged Dragon of Ra in my hands. It's like the card is telling me to give to Serena for some reason.”

 

Serena tells Takato, as she takes out the Obelisk the Tormentor card from her deck, “It is the same with Obelisk, it is like the card is telling that it wants to be in your deck. Well, anyway, I will take your offer since you are my friend.” Serena then gives Obelisk the Tormentor card and Takato gives the Winged Dragon of Ra to Serena.

 

Kari then says, “Now, Serena, Davis, and I have got two digivices each.”

 

Takuya then states, “The rest of us have got our two digivices. All of us are on our way to the finals.”

 

Serena then tells Takuya, in her new more mature tone, “Hey, Takuya, we've still a long way to go, so, don't get cocky, but with Yami Marik gone and all three Egyptian God Cards back in our possession, things should go smoother, however, we might not count on that.”

 

Davis then tells everyone, “All of us had a long day, so, why don't we go back to the café and have a little something?”

 

Joey then asks, “We heard about that, I can't believe that you own a cyber-café! You don't mind if Yug' and we `tag along'?”

 

Hotaru tells Joey, nicely, “It is no problem at all, Joey. We will give you a free shake.”

 

Joey exclaims, happily, “All right! Let get going!”

 

Serena tells Hotaru, with a grin and some sarcasm, “Do you have to encourage him?” Hotaru then gives off a light blush of embarrassment and then all of our heroes and heroines with Yugi and his three friends in tow, head back to the cyber-café. But on the meanwhile, they are being watched by a mysterious dark figure from the distance, using high-tech binoculars and a listening device.

 

The mysterious figure then says to himself, “So, this is where the Chosen of Judgement and his Princess have arrived and their friends are with them. Plus, they have even more Interdimensional Warriors as allies. However, we will get what we want, by any means necessary even through the enemies of the High Prince of Miracles, the High Prince of Life, and the Princess of Moon.” The dark mysterious figure then jumps into the air and then teleports away, vanishing from sight.

 

Next time in Chapter 17: Distant Days of Warriors: All of our heroes and heroines take the day off from the tournament, thanks to Pegasus, and go on a picnic and camping trip into the woods for the day. During that time, some of Interdimensional Warriors go some training during the early parts of the `day off' in the woods. However, when that's over, our warrior then reveal plenty of amazing tales of their journeys across worlds, including the story of how Serena and Hotaru started their journey as Interdimensional Warriors and Rika, Takato, Guilmon, and Renamon started their journey as Interdimensional Warriors! These tales from our warrior reveal more about how the warriors changed, their secrets that they held, and who, what, and why they have changed with facts that might and/or will shock you! During this time, Kari and Serena improve their `abilities' as Pokemon trainers by having a Pokemon match of their own, romances will bloom between couples, starting or re-starting couples, or those `couples' starting to show feelings to each other, with fun in the sun, the lakes, and the woods for all of our heroes and heroines. All of this and another headache for our villains next time on Digimon Worlds: Dimensional Endgame!

 

Author's Note: Here's the end of the latest chapter and how did you like my Darien and Serena `passionate moment'? Anyway, to explain about Serena's and Kari's radical change to a `tough girl' look, personally, I like Serena/Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon and Kari from Digimon, but I'm tried seeing Serena as a weak crybaby who doesn't seem to grow at all during the series and Kari has too much `sugar, spice, and everything nice' in her. And Serena is somewhat like Kari in that sense. Personally, I like fanfictions that give female characters like Kari and Serena, a new `tough girl' look, and that's what I'm doing here with Serena and Kari. But this is going to be more like `growing pains' for the both of them, even through that are young adult women, they and the other warriors as well as are still going to `grow' and change through the series like going through `identity crises' so to speak and `emotional and personality crises' for example.

When an opponent attacks, negate the attack and increase this monster's ATK the same number of ATK of the attacking monster, then destroy all of the monsters on your opponent's side of the field in attack position, and calculate Battle Damage normally.
