At Sora's house the alarm goes off.

 

Sora sits up from her bed and starts smiling as she stretches, today was the day. “It's Sunday, Biyomon wake up!” She starts pushing her bird friend in order to wake her.

 

“It's Sunday already?” Replied sleepy Biyomon.

 

Sora was excited. “Yep come on we got to get ready.”

 

Yes excitement was running through out the Digidestined in Japan. In each home everyone was preparing, Davis was straightening out his hair. While Veemon was making sure that he had packed enough snacks. At Joe's house he was checking to make sure he had packed everything. While Gomamon was reading a Joke book.

 

Gomamon started to practice a joke “Hey Joe what is black, silver and very dangerous?”

 

Joe was checking his bag “I have no clue.”

 

“A crow with a machinegun.” Gomamon said as he begins rolling over with laughter.

 

Joe thought to himself, “Note to self, destroy that book.”

 

At Izzy's house he was packing his laptop, while Tentomon was sleeping. At Kari's and Tai's house. Kari was loading her camera with film while Gotamon was giving herself a cat bath. Tai and Augumon were playing soccer inside Tai's room when all of a sudden, CRASH!! . He broke his lamp.

 

Tai started at his shattered lamp “MY MOM IS GOING TO KILL ME!!!!!!!”

 

Augumon tried cheering him up “You can always buy another lamp in New York.”

 

Tai looked at his friend “Hope so, but how am I going to hide this.”

 

“Like this, pepper breath!!!” Augumon sets the broken lamp on fire.

 

“AUGMON WHAT IN THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING!!!!” Tai yelled

 

“I WASN'T THINKING!!!!” Augumon replied.

 

“QUICK GET A CUP OF WATER OR SOMETHING!!!” Tai said. He then notices that fire from the burning lamp started spreading to the wooden floor, “Great now the floor is catching on fire.”

 

They both look at each other and realize that this is a wooden floor and begin screaming their heads off.

 

In Kari's room

 

“What are those two doing? Hey Gatomon do you smell something?” Kari asked.

 

Gatomon realizes what it was “Yeah something is burning.”

 

“Fire” Both Kari and Gatomon both screamed out.

 

Kari being the smart one finds a fire extinguisher sees the smoke is coming from Tai's room.

Gatomon breaks open the door, while Kari sprays the place down, putting out the fire. Most of the floor was burnt to a crisp, while the lamp was in ashes.

 

Gatomon glares at Tai and Augumon, “WHAT WERE YOU TWO THINKING!!!!”

 

“IT'S AUGUMON FAULT!!!” Tai said pointing at Augumon.

 

“Sorry.” Augumon said holding his head down in shame.

 

“When Mom sees this she is going to flip.” Kari replied.

 

At the airport, all the digidestined with their Digimon in luggage waiting for Kari and Tai.who still had not shown up.

 

Yolie starts puffing her face up with anger, “Where are they?”

 

“Knowing Tai, he's probably still asleep, while Kari is trying to wake him up.” Cody said anime sweat drops.

 

Ken turns his head, “Well hear they come.”

 

Tai and Kari are running to their friends with their luggage.

 

Matt was a little agitated, “Look who finally showed up.”

 

“We- had- a- good- excuse.” Tai said catching his breath.

 

Izzy just glared at him, “What on earth could stop you from being late to see Mimi for Spring Break?”

 

Tai then tells the tale of fire and wood.

 

Sora shocked at Tai's stupidity, “How- What- that-that doesn't even make good nonsense!”

 

Joe anime sweat drops, “Your mom is going to flip.”

 

“Won't she notice the smell.” Cody asked.

 

Kari smiled, “Nope we used a lot of Frebreeze.”

 

“You better hope that does it.” Sora said.

 

“But what if she goes in your room.” Ken asked.

 

Tai grinned “Don't worry, we put a sign that said-”

 

Tai told them what the sign said.

 

Davis grinned, “You sure are smart Tai.”

 

Tai thought to himself, “From you I'm not sure if that is a compliment Davis.”

 

T.K. turned his head, “Look someone is coming.”

 

Now dressed in an airport flight attendant outfit was the Shredder's right hand ninja, Tatsu.

 

Tatsu smiled, “Hello children, my name is Mr.Tatsu. If you follow me I will take you onto the plane. Come now.”

 

Davis whispers to Ken “What no one is going to take our luggage for us?”

 

Ken whispers to Davis “We are big group Davis.”

 

Tatsu thought to himself “Like fools they fall into my master's trap.”

 

Aboard the plane

 

Right side seating order, Tai and Izzy 1st seat, 2nd seat Davis and Cody, 3rd seat Ken and Yolie

 

Left side seating order Sora and Matt 1st seat, 2nd seat T.K. and Kari, and 3rd Joe by himself.

 

“Please put your luggage into the luggage compartments.” Tatsu said pointing to the above compartments.

 

They did.

 

“Please prepare to buckle up. I will now tell the pilot we are ready to take off.” Tastu walked through the cockpit door and closing it.

 

Once Tatsu leaves the area, the digimon come out and sit on their partners lap.

 

“I always wanted to fly first class.” Tentomon said looking around.

 

“It's not exactly first class.” Izzy said to his friend.

 

“Well it's free and that's all that matters, right Matt.” Gabumon added.

 

“You're right about that Gabumon. We would have never been able to save up enough money to go to New York.” Said Matt.

 

“Why didn't we just use the Digiport?” Davis asked.

 

“Davis we can't go around using the Digiportals like that.” Ken said.

 

“That doesn't matter now guys. The most important thing is were all going to see Mimi.” Sora added.

 

Patamon started to notice something, “Hey the plane is taking off. Hurry back in the bags!”

 

The Digimon are now in the bags as the plane prepares to fly. When the plane is in the air they comeback out.

 

However unknown to the Digidestined, in the cockpit a Foot Ninja flies the plane. The Shredder was sitting in one of the cockpit seats, “I think now is the time for me to meet our guest.”

 

“Can I come?” The mysterious figured ask.

 

“Not quite yet, don't worry you'll get your revenge. Tatsu launch the digifield and let the stun gas out.” The Shredder replied.

 

Tatsu nodded, “Yes Master.” and presses two different buttons button.

 

Back in the passenger area.

 

Gomamon starts yawning, “What's that smell and why do I fell so tired?” then falls asleep.

 

“Gomamon!” Joe tries to reach for his friend but he can't move. He was paralyzed. “What is going on here?”

 

Soon all of the digidestined are paralyzed, while the Digimon are asleep.

 

Back in the cockpit.

 

Shredder gets up “That is enough. Now they shall meet…. The Shredder.”

 

Back in the passenger area as the gas stops. The door opens, four Foot Ninjas enter.

 

Davis looks at them “What are they?”

 

Cody studies them “They look like…. Ninjas.”

 

“What?” Tai said.

 

They then see a man wearing tights covered in certain areas with silver metal Armor, with the green Foot logo on his armor chest plate, wearing his silver mask decorated with metal blades, and on the back of his hands, and on parts of his armor were metal cutting claws. This man had to be the Ninjas leader.

 

Matt was the first to speak, “Who are you freak!?”

 

Matt gets slapped in the face by one of the Ninjas.

 

“Never disrespect the master like that.” One of the Ninja scold.

 

Sora was the next to yell “So who are you then and what did you do to Biyomon and the others?!!!”

 

“I am The Shredder.” The Shredder stated.

 

“The Shredder?” Ken asked.

 

“Yes Ken Ichijoji.” The Shredder said.

 

Ken was confused “How do you know my name?”

 

“You were a genius remember?” Davis reminded.

 

Shredder looked at Davis “You must be Davis.”

“How do you know about me?” Davis asked.

 

“I know all information about you and the Digidestined and Digimon.” Shredder stated.

 

“Where did you get all this information?” Kari asked.

 

Shredder looked at Kari “From a friend of yours, child.”

 

“With friends like those who needs enemies.” Yolie stated.

 

“What do you want?” Cody yelled.

 

“Yeah this is our trip to New York find your own!” Davis added.

 

Shredder laughed and evil laugh, “Your trip was actually a clever way to bring you to me.”

 

Sora was stunned, “What!”

 

“Yes the contest was all my idea.” Shredder stated.

 

“So all this time it was all a trap.” Izzy realized.

 

“You jerk!!” Matt yelled.

 

Matt again gets slapped by the ninja.

 

“What do you want with us?” Tai asked.

 

“Let just say, this may be the last time you fly on a plane or do anything in that matter.” Shredder said and begins laughing.

 

Sora thought to herself, “I can't believe this is happening.”

 

“Your destruction is at hand Digidestined.” Shredder said laughing.
