I trudged into the study hall with Quillfire stuffed into my backpack. He wouldn't shut up, so what else could I do? I glanced at my watch. Darn, 10 minutes late. This lateness business was going to start affecting my grade. As the Professor put another tardy checkmark in my record, he continued on with his enthralling lesson in a monotonous voice. "For the past 4 years, you have worked hard with your partner and got to know them very well, I hope. You should know minor and major elemental magic, along with different combo attacks with your partner. And some of you might even know the trick to transformation. If you studied very hard this year or spent a lot of time with your partner, you might have encountered times when your partner seemed to change. Maybe a few more powerful attacks or a sudden extra glow. Now, after a year of work, hard work, may I add, you two may be able to merge together. But lets focus on this year, which is drawing to an end. Tomorrow is the test of your courage, friendship, and bravery. Tomorrow is Mission Trust. Using everything you know, you will cross deserts, swim oceans, and scale the skies. As in other words, an endurance test. Bring water and other items you deem necessary. Be here at 7:30 SHARP." The professor paused and glared at me, "Or else. Class dismissed."
