Chapter 11: Hope this is the end of them…

In the last chapter, Ran (me) has gone back to get help from Sam, Kenny, Kazu and Kenta. Now, they have the battle of their lives, who knows what will happen. The continuing episode…

"Hey, all of you, get offa me!" I shouted. "My back still hurts from the cheerleading practices last week."

"Ops… sorry Ran," said Sam. "I forgot, kinda."

"Big brother!!!" shouted Chun from the top of the pile as all of us got up.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be sleeping," questioned Henry.

"Actually Henry, Lopmon was acting kinda weird, and so was Wormmon but nothing seem wrong with Sam's and Kenta's MarineAngemon and Kazu's Guardromon," I explained, pointing to Lopmon, Kenny's Wormmon, the two MarineAngemon and Guardromon.

"Oh."

"Hey, look where your time machine landed on!" shouted Jeri.

"Hah! Looks like the end of Piedmon," I said, pressing a button on the time machine to make it change its form back into a button.

As soon as I finished my sentence, Piedmon got deleted. Then we went on with our journey to Infinity Mountain.

"Hey Ran," started Kenny.

"What?" I asked.

"Why don't you take out your plane, boat, car thingy?" continued Sam.

"No, it ran out of petrol," I replied coldly.

"WHAT?" screamed Sam.

"I thought it would NEVER run outta petrol!" continued Kenny.

"Whatever," I mumbled.

"Gee Ran, now your starting to sound like my brother," commented T.K.

"So what?" I mumbled.

Then, the rest of the journey was in silence.

===============At Gennai's house…=================================

"Why are they so damn long?" said Rika impatiently.

"Here," said Takato, handing her a green colored card.

"What's this?" asked Rika, taking the card from him.

"It's like a communication card Ran passed to me," he replied. "All we have to do is just to slash it thru our D-Power, say `Digimodify! Connection link, activate!' whisper whose D-Power you want to link to and there you go, you're linked to that person."

"Cool," commented Yolei.

"Could you just do it please? I'm getting real bored here," said Cody.

"Here goes," mumbled Rika as she started the `process'.

================Back with the others…===============================

As we were walking, my D-Power started to beep.

"What's wrong with your D-Power, Ran?" asked Kari, noticing my D-Power.

"Huh? Oh~ that," I said, taking my D-Power.

"What?" asked T.K.

"Gee D.C, I didn't know you were a busybody," said Davis.

I signaled them to keep quiet, and then turned to my D-Power. Then, I pressed a button on my D-Power and started to talk.

"What's wrong with her?" asked Kazu.

"Nothing's wrong with her," mumbled Henry.

"Huh? What did you say?" asked Kenta.

"I think I get it," said Sora out loud.

"Yea, she's on some kind of connection link with Rika and the others," said Kari, peeping over my shoulder.

================Somewhere at Infinity Mountain…=====================

"Ouch… man, my head hurts," said Tai, almost too loud.

"Not too loud Tai," whispered Joe.

"Joe? But… how did you get here?" questioned Tai.

Joe did not answer, but pointed at Devimon.

"What does it have to do with this creep?" questioned Tai again.

"He and the Dark Masters kidnapped us, but I don't know who else did they kidnap," replied Joe in a very soft whisper.

==================Back with the others…=============================

"Rika, what's wrong?" I asked.

"It's just that you are taking so long that we are getting bored," answered Rika.

"We'll get back as fast as possible, but we have to rescue Tai and the others first," I said.

"Great. Hope to see you soon," said Rika, who then broke the link.

"Okay~ let's get going!" I shouted out loud, so loud that Tai, Joe, Agumon and Gomamon heard me, but they thought it was their imagination.

We continued walking… walking… walking… until we finally reach Infinity Mountain.

"Oh~ looks like now we really need that plane, boat, car thingy that Ran has," said Mimi, looking at me with a really weird look.

"Yeah! Get it out, Ran!" said the others, chanting the same things over and over and over again.

"Okay, fine!" I said, and they cheered.

Taking out another button, I pressed it, which eventually changed into that plane, boat, car thingy that Sam mentioned.

"WOW! Wait till IZZY sees this!" commented T.K and Kari together.

"Okay now, all aboard!!!"
