Takuya ran down the empty streets. Nothing but anger, hate, pain, and sadness was all he felt. How could his own family do this to him? He thought they understood him; especially his father. The one who makes things happen. The one who makes the designees. The one who desided that Takuya needed to marry Luce by the time he was sixteen.

*Flash Back*

Kouji and Takuya stood in front of the brunette's house, after spending all afternoon with each other. Wrapping their arms around each other's waist, their foreheads touched. Their eyes holding nothing but love ...

"I love you, Kouji."

The dark haired boy smiled put his hand on his koi's cheek leaned in and kissed Takuya passionately. After a moment they pulled away as Kouji rubbed his thumb along the brunette's cheek.

"I should go though ..." Takuya said, "but tomorrow I don't have to train so we'll spend more time tomorrow ... and besides, there's something I wanted to ask you ..."

"Sounds good," Kouji said kissing the brunette near the mouth.

They gave each other one last loving look as Kouji turned and walked away toward his house. Takuya watched for a moment and smiled to himself, watching this koi's every move.

After waiting a few more moments, Takuya walked into the house and noticed that there where unfamiliar shoes fancy shoes. Slipping his own off he walked into the main room and merely choked. Sitting there was his mother, father, Lord Cherubi and his son Luce.

"Ah. You've made it my son," Mr. Kanbara said with a smile, "come and meet your future husband."

"M - my what?" Takuya merely chock.

"Your future husband. You are to marry Luce by your sixteenth birthday."

Takuya just paled then his expression slowly changed as shadows slowly formed under the brunette's eyes. His eyes showing nothing but hate; betrayal and disgust ...

"No - I'm not going to marry him -I'd rather die than do that!"

"Enough," Mr. Kanbara demanded, "I will not tolerate that type of behavior in this house! Now go to your room."

Takuya's expression changed back to normal but pain was in his eyes as he tried to keep his lower lip from trembling. With one last look at everyone Takuya ran out of the house ...

*End of Flash Back*

By now he was walking until he heard a familiar voice calling out to him causing Takuya to wince knowing who it was.

Takuya watched nervously after he told his koi what happened. Why wasn't Kouji saying anything? Finally a flood of tears came down his cheek. The dark haired boy raised his hand as the brunette turned his head ready to be slapped. He deserved to be slapped but no slap came; instead a gentle hand was placed on his cheek.

Takuya looked back at his koi to see nothing but pain in his eyes that made the brunette feel like he was slugged in the stomach.

"Kouji ... I ..." the brunette paused for a moment, "I didn't want things to happen to this way either ..."

"I .. I better go .."

The dark haired boy turned and started to walk away causing Takuya to panic slightly. He was about to reach out when Kouji turned, his eyes holding nothing but hate ...

"Don't touch me ..."

"Kouji please," Takuya pleated with great pain in his eyes, "I don't like it any more than you but I have no choice ..."

"Really. So your fathers honor is more important than our love? Is that what your saying?"

"Kouji don't do this to me ... please .... he's ..."

"There you are," came a voice.

Takuya turned to see Luce and a couple of bodyguards behind him. The first thing Takuya did was step in front of Kouji with two of his daggers in his hand ready to protect the dark haired boy.

"Now, there's no reason to be all protective, Takuya ... I'm not going to hurt him ..."

"Says you," the brunette hissed twirling his dagger in his hand then crossing his arms in an x fashion the daggers pointed down ward, "no matter what - my heart still belongs to Kouji!"

"Then why protect something so low class and weak when something better is standing right in front you?"

Takuya just growled knowing where Luce was getting at and knowing that Luce has been looking at him for sometime know. The brunette even told the young lord that he had a loved one but all Luce said was: of course. Who wouldn't love someone as beautiful as you.

"Look, Luce - I told - Kouji and I are a couple! How many times to I have to tell you that I don't feel the same way?" Takuya snapped

So, that's what this is all about, Kouji figured out, I wondered why Takuya have been acting a little distant lately. He's been trying to keep me from getting hurt ... now the dark haired boy felt really bad for acting like a jerk.

"Uh ... Taku-chan ..."

"Save it for later love," Takuya said smiling over his shoulder knowing that Kouji was going to apologize.

"Takuya, where are --- there you are."

They turned to see Mr. Kanbara walking up looking really upset. The first thing Takuya did was stepped back closer to Kouji; their bodies practically touching.

"Your coming home right now," his father demanded, "and you are not to see young Minamoto - I forbid it!"
