They awoke early the next morning, showered together, ate breakfast and proceeded to head in Davis's company limo to pick Ken and Kari up. They greeted the couple and proceeded to head to Davis's personal airport.

 

 

“We're here everyone.” Davis states upon their arrival to the airport.

 

 

Seeing as Ken, Kari, Sora, and Davis had awoken so early that morning, they decided to lounge on board whilst they flew for the next twelve hours while their digimon conversated.

 

 

“Boy, oh boy we sure are high up.” DemiVeemon says.

 

 

“We sure are, lil' buddy.” Davis says.

 

 

Oh, davish, I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you.” DemiVeemon says.

 

 

“Oh, it's okay, besides I never thanked you for giving me the inspiration that aided me in proving my love to Sora.” Davis says.

 

 

“Oh, Davis, I just gave you the idea about the love letters, you took it as far as necessary, and besides you're my friend and I'll always be there to help you out.” DemiVeemon replies.

 

 

They continued to converse for a little while longer, and then they both dozed off, only to be awakened some time later by an announcement from the captain.

 

 

“This is your captain speaking, we will be arriving at our destination shortly, thank you for flying with Motomiya airlines, and have a nice evening.”

 

 

When they exited the plane they noticed that a digimon battle had erupted, just outside the airport. A familiar being pointed his digivice at his digimon partner and yelled, “Alright, Darkmon let's do this!”

 

 

His digivice began to glow, as did something Sora and Kari had not seen in a long time, a tag and crest. It was then that they knew this must be the legendary digidestined Davis had told them about. They had wondered as to why he is so legendary, but they soon got their answer.

 

 

“DARKMON WARP-DIGIVOLVE TO..... APOCALYMON!!!” Kari and Sora could only look on in fear as they watched their former enemy emerge, but little did they know that he was no longer evil.

 

 

“Apocalymon, take him out!” The being yelled to his digimon partner.

 

 

“GATE OF THE OPPRESSED!!” Apocalymon yells launching an attack that connects destroying surprisingly nothing but the evil digimon, then there was a flash of light and Apocalymon had de-digivolved back to darkmon.

 

 

“Way to go.” Shawn says to darkmon.

 

 

Davis approaches him and gives him a high five and says, “So that was Omegamon, he wasn't so tough.”

 

 

Shawn looks over to a car and signals for a girl to come over to the group. “Guys, this is my girlfriend, Alicia.” He says.

 

 

“Hi everyone, my name is Alicia Maria Vasquez, my digimon partner is Betamon and I have the crest of Innocence.” She says.

 

 

After introductions were made Kari looks at Shawn and asks, “How is it that Apocalymon is one of your digimon's digivolutions, we destroyed him fourteen years ago?”

 

 

“Well, Kari, Darkmon explained it to me in this way, all those years ago when the original digidestined defeated Apocalymon and he used his total annihilation attack and it failed, he begged azulongmon on his dying breath that if he spared death that he do anything to make it up to him. Azulongmon told him that he would spare him, but on one condition, in three years he would become the crest bearer of Loyalty's digimon partner. He gratefully thanked the guardian and waited his three years to be reborn.” Shawn replies.

 

 

“Oh, sorry I jumped to conclusions.” Kari says.

 

 

“Its okay, it happens.” Shawn says, “So Dai, where are we heading anyhow?”

 

 

Davis proceeds to show him a map of the area that they'll cover and then says, “And then finally we'll hit Vegas, that okay with you?

 

 

“Sure thing, bro, hope you don't mind, but this is what we'll be riding in, cause the red dragon is in the shop.” Shawn replies.

 

 

He then leads them to a hummer limo. Davis kisses Sora on the cheek, looks at the vehicle then looks at the whole bunch smiling and says, “Alright everyone, Las Vegas here we come!!”
