Chapter 1: Friend or Foe?

*Thrid POV* My name isn't important. Yep! That's me. Yeah the one with the fiery red hair, that seem as bright as the sun. And my spearing green eyes. Don't tell anyone. But yeah, I wore pigtails. That's when I was happy. And not always, a mean person. An mean person with powers. Powers that people have tested me for, and trying to take my powers. But now, I have friends. They truly care for me. And that's all I care about. And I think, I have found my family. Now this is how it all started.

"Jayne-Lynn! You better not get into any fights in this school" a old lady yell. She had gray hair, that seem silver in the light. The girl with long red hair, that hid her head-phones look at the old lady.
"Yeah I know Grandma. But the last time, it wasn't my fault" Jayne-Lynn smile.
"No...you just let her get invite to the hospital for an while" her grandmother said. Jayne-Lynn step outside the car, and smile at her grandmother.
"You then, make sure no one starts with me again" Jayne-Lynn smile. She walk into the new school. She wore an chocker that had an star on it. And with blue skater pants, with a white long sleeve shirt and a blue shirt on top of that. And her head-phones were still on her. She walk to her locker assignment. And people stop dead in their tracks.
"Who is that girl?" a girl ask.
"I heard that might be Jayne-Lynn Annabel" a boy answer.
"Well why is she going to this school?" the girl ask.
"She got kick out of the 5 other schools she went to" the boy answer. And then they watch her walk pass them.
Jayne-Lynn make it to her locker, and a girl stood there with long brown hair, and dark brown eyes. She wore a ice blue tank top and black pants. And she had an ice blue locket on. "So, you're the locker partner, I share with?" the girl ask. Jayne-Lynn roll her eyes.
"Oh great! This is going to be an great year" Jayne-Lynn sigh. She then slam her head into the locker.
"Or maybe you'll get kick out of this school to" the girl smile.
"Shut up Erica! Before, I show you what I did to that girl" Jayne-Lynn smile. Erica's smile quickly faded. "And the only reason, why I haven't already. Is because it would give our grandmother, and heart attack" Jayne-Lynn said. She then went to walk away.
"Jayne-Lynn! Don't make me tell grandmother" Erica said.
"My name isn't Jayne-Lynn. It's Jayne. The only one who can call me that is grandma. You know that" Jayne said turning back around. Then an man place his hand on Jayne's shoulder.
"Is there something wrong already Jayne-Lynn?" he ask. He had black long hair, and dark eyes. And he was the dean.
"No, Mr. O'Reilly. There is no trouble" Jayne answer, with depression in her voice.
"Good! Because we don't want to call your grandmother do we?" he ask. And Jayne shook her head no. "Good!" he then walk away. Erica then stuck her tongue at Jayne. And Jayne eyed Erica.
"Remember we are cousins! I'm getting you, when the family reunion comes around" Jayne smile. Then she walk away. Then an blonde headed boy and red headed boy walk up to Erica.
"Who was that?" the blonde headed boy ask.
"No one Matt. It was my locker buddy" Erica answer.
"You too seem to have an long conversion" the red headed boy ask.
"We were talking about something. Girl's stuff Izzy" Erica said. Then Matt put his arm around Erica, and they walk away.
In the dean's office, the dean sat in his chair looking over Jayne's record. Then an black fog roll into his office, through the vents. And he appear an a dark man, in a black robe. "Is she the one?" he ask.
"I think so Shadowmon. Look at my hand" the dean said. He open his palm, and it seem to have been burnt. "But she is giving off incerible energy" he added.
Then Shadowmon took Jayne's record, and look at her picture. "If she is the one we've been looking for. This is going to be great. I'll be able to get back into the digital world. And destory Gennai" Shadowmon started to laugh evily.
Meanwhile, Jayne sat in History class, wearing her head-phones. Matt and Izzy sat in the class. And they could hear Jayne's music. "Miss Annabel. Would you like to turn down that music?" she ask. Jayne started to tap her pencil on the desk.
"Oh...did you say something miss? My music, was playing to loud" Jayne said. And the class started to laugh at Jayne.
"I told you to turn down the music. Or I'll take it away" the teacher said.
"And your going to feel proud of yourself. I bet you. Oh then you'll call my guardians. And tell them what I was doing in class. No wait, you'll feel proud when you sleep with the Technology teacher tonight" Jayne said. The history teacher ran out of the classroom, crying. Everyone turn and look at Jayne. And she look out towards the window, and play her music loud again.
"I say we keep an eye on this one" Matt said. And Izzy nodded his head. Jayne then look over at them, and they turn around.
'I hate people' Jayne thought.
Later that day, she sat in lunch. Waiting everyone having their own conversions. Being happy, and laughing. She then started to turn her music up louder. "Something is wrong with the new girl" Matt said. Erica, Tai, Matt and Izzy we're all looking over at Jayne.
"Guys, I wouldn't stare at her for to long" Erica warn.
"Why do you know something Erica?" Tai ask. Erica look at her plate of an half eaten chesseburger.
"Nah! It's just if I was the new kid. I wouldn't like to be stare at all the time" Erica said. Matt then kiss her on the cheek.
"Yeah but people would have to stare at you. Your to beautiful" Matt smile. Erica look at Matt then she look back at her plate.
"Maybe Erica is right" Izzy said. Then they all got an message on their D-Terminals. "It's from Gennai. We gotta get to the computer labs now" Izzy said. Jayne look up from her plate. And saw them walk out.
They had arrive in the digital world, and Gennai appear in front of them with their friends. "I'm sorry to do this to you. But we have just recieve that an human is in trouble" Gennai said.
"Who is it?" Tai ask.
"The child of purity" Gennai answer.
"And who is that?" Matt ask.
"Someone you least expected" Gennai answer again. Then someone started to walk to the group. And when they step into the light. They saw it was Jayne.
"Jayne!" Erica yell.
"Yeah, it's me Erica. Don't get your panties tie in a knot" Jayne rolled her eyes.
"How can you be the child of purity?" Tai ask.
"And how can you be the leader?" Jayne question back. They stare each other down.
"Alright! Jayne has been the child of purity for an while. But I decided not to show her to you, in case something happen to one of you" Gennai said.
"What do you mean?" Matt ask.
"In case any one of you were taken away by an bad guy, would know who I am. And that wasn't going to happen. You know how many evil digimon want me dead? A lot" Jayne said.
"Now that Jayne's life is in danger, I need your help to protect her" Gennai said.
"But I don't need it. Gennai thinks I do" Jayne reply.
"I need you to keep an eye on Jayne please. And then we can think of an way to find out who wants to hurt you" Gennai said.
"I can't work with them they are afraid of me" Jayne smile. They all look shock at one of another. "You don't have to be afriad. I don't bite. It hasn't been prove if I have any disease that you could catch" Jayne laugh.
Then she started to walk off. "Pay no attention to Jayne. She's always been like that. It's a shame. Now, I can trust you to watch Jayne" Gennai said. And they all nodded their heads.
