Bath Time

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon. I do own Lizzie Campbell. This takes place during my other fic To Tame A Deva.

Lizzie Campbell entered the house with her key. She (thank God) was eligible to exempt biology. She threw her backpack on the couch and whistled.

Gazimon woke up from the ottoman. He leapt across the end table and into Lizzie's arms, knocking her into the computer chair.

Lizzie changed from jeans to shorts and placed her goggles in their stationary spot. Gazimon followed her into the bathroom. Upon arrival, she slammed the door and locked it. Gazimon's eyes went wide for he knew what was coming.

Lizzie pulled out her Digivice, a white D-Power outlined in purple. She took out a blue card and slashed it through the D-Power.

Gazimon used his last seconds to glare at his tamer. His body began to change. He slunched over; his arms bent to become legs. The ears shrank and fire erupted over his body. For a few seconds, he was Lynxmon. Then he changed more.

The fire died and gave way to yellow striped hair. His tail became mulitjointed and wings sprouted from his back. Now he was Mihiramon, the Tiger Deva of Nobility.

Fortanetly for Lizzie, the bathroom was small enough that Mihiramon couldn't escape without the open door. With one hand she took the detachable showerhead off its holder and the other hand turned the water on.

Setting it to the right temperature, the shower system turned on. Lizzie made sure water got on every inch of Mihiramon's body. He shut his eyes so water couldn't get in them.

Mihiramon's mouth enveloped a shampoo bottle and handed it to Lizzie. Sure, the shampoo was for dogs, but Mihiramon's close enough, right? Lizzie squeezed shampoo onto Mihiramon's hair and lathered it up, making it nice and soapy.

Again, the water. This time, it was to wash all the suds out.

Lizzie dried Mihiramon off with a towel the best she could, then did the hardest thing she could do.

She let Mihiramon go.

He tore out of the bathroom, ignoring the pain from banging the left wing on the frame, and began flying erratically around the living room. That caused him to knock over the lamp. Again.

Lizzie set the lamp back and watched Mihiramon.

Before he de-digivolved into Gazimon, Mihiramon asked, "Why'd you do it?"

Lizzie repeated what she read in the email.

"Visitors are coming. Your friends the Devas. Adventure is on the doorstep."
