Calumon slowly pushed the newspaper from her face only to see his best friend Veemon! "Sorry I scared you" said Veemon with a concerned voice. "Its ok, just don't do that again please...Hey! I have an idea, lets go into town today!" said Calumon with a smile on his face. "Yah, there is a lot of things to do in town!" Veemon replied joyfully. Next Sunday there will be a 2 on 2 Digimon Tournament held at Nanimon Park! The Tournament starts at 12:00 pm and ends at 5:00 pm. Sign up for the tournament now before it is too late! Only champions and lower are allowed! There is a maximum of 30 digimon which means 15 teams of 2 digimon.Be there!

Calumon started jumping for joy! "Hurry Veemon" said Calumon "We gotta sign up now" Veemon had a disgruntled look on his face. "Calumon, we are not ready for this. I don't even think we have ever battled anything before." said Veemon sadly. " I know that Veemon! That is exactly why me and you are gonna practice right after we sign up!" said Calumon as he was pulling on Veemons arm. "Let's go!" So off they went to the signup booth at Nanimon Park. "Hi guys, if you didn't guess I am Nanimon the park owner! You guys are lucky you got here when you did, there is only 1 open spot left!" exclaimed Nanimon. "We'll take it then!" shouted Calumon. "Great! Here are you validation tickets and the tournament starts at 12:00pm. See you guys there!" said Nanimon smirking.

"Veemon! We have to go practice now!" shrieked Calumon. "Ok, lets hurry back as fast as we can!" replied Veemon. "Today is Tuesday, we have a lot of practicing to do before we are ready!" They both raced back to the alley where Calumon lives. "Ok, now we need to set up the practice arena!" exclaimed Calumon. "Veemon, there are some plastic jugs, newspaper, and some cardboard boxes behind you that we can practice on. Please bring them to me and i'll set them up!" Veemon gathered everything up and brought it over to Calumon. Calumon set up the practice arena in a 10 minute time period. "Ok Veemon, now we can start practicing!" said Calumon. Veemon didn't reply, he just stared at the entrance of the alleyway. "Veemon! said Calumon. "What are you staring at?" Calumon then looked over to see what Veemon was staring at and saw the 2 meanest bullies they had ever met! Pumpkinmon and Demidevimon!
