Chapter 4: Prom night already?

~A hour later. Time: 7:41 P.M.~

Kari enters the living room, "TK hi sorry to keep you waiting but you know us girls need to be prettied up." Kari says. "No problem love." TK says in a voice of awe as he looks at Kari, who is wearing a prom dress that is white with no sleeves, full backed and with a heart form in the front on the chest area. "Wow you look nice Kari." TK breathes slowly out. "Thanks TK." Kari says. "Now stand still, so I can take pictures." Tai says as he takes 2 pictures one for TK and the other for Kari. "Here don't lose it." Tai says as he hands Kari a nice looking camera. "Okay big brother I will." Kari says. "I mean it Kari that was a gift from Sora, don't lose it." Tai says. "Oh okay." Kari says.

~Later at the Shinjuku high school gym~

"Thanks mom." TK says to his mom who had just drop them off. "Yeah thank you Mrs. Ishido." Kari says. "Your welcome you two, now behave TK, Kari." She commands. "Yes mom." TK says. They enter the gym, "Hi Kari." Someone says, "You come here alone?" the person asks. "No Davis I'm here with TK." Kari says. "Him? What's he have that I don't?" Davis asks. "Well he's nice and cute your just, nice and annoying." Kari says. "I am?" Davis asks, "V-mon doesn't think that." Davis says. "Davis he's like you, why didn't you go with him?" Kari asks with a giggle. "Uhh." Is all Davis could say. TK walks over, "Oh hi Davis who you here with?" TK asks. "No one." Says someone. "Yolei shut it!" Davis shouts. "Who you here with Yolei?" Kari asks. "Ken of course." She says. Ken walks over, "Oh hey guys." He says with a smile. TK taps Kari's shoulder she turns, "Yes TK?" Kari asks. "May I have this dance?" TK asks a little casually. She blinks and smiles as she offers her hand, "I'd love to TK." Kari says as TK receives her hand and hugs her, as they dance under the evening sky. Her head lies against his shoulder as he mindlessly repeated the lyrics from the song that is playing.
