AN: this chapter is PG-13/R because of a consensual intimate scene.

AN: I know this is really controversial, but I’ve decided to take the couplings in a bit of a different direction, hopefully it won't hurt the story.

Chapter 3: Daisuke’s Legacy

Daisuke smirked when he learned the scouts have found them at Primary Village. "All right team, activate your active camo, and abduct Chris without being noticed. Take him back here, I'll set-up a campsite we will rendezvous at." Daisuke said over a radio feed as he grabbed a bag and headed to set up the camp.

"Looks like I have a date with my secret crush. And the funny thing is, he has looked interested in me before, if my plan works, Chris will join us just to be with me. You see, I'm gonna change clothes, and assure Chris I'm back on his side, and tell him I have the hots for him. He will then probably be shy knowing him, I'll just tell him I respect him and that I understand how he was hurt. I will, if he wants, teach him what the pleasurable kind of intimacy is. As for the whole "I killed Hikari" thing, I'll tell him a lie about it being the spore's fault, and I'll work up some convincing tears." Daisuke said to the Kaizer as he packed up some things.

"Very clever, simple, clean, deceitful, and not to mentions it's so cute. Good plan my Dai-chan, have fun with Chris-kun.” the Kaizer said grinning.

The scouts saw that Taichi was watching the group sleep. With their hi-tech active camo rendering them invisible, first they Picked up a rock and threw it into the bushes, Taichi heard it land and ran over to investigate. Then they silently pulled Chris out of his sleeping bag, when he came in contact with them, Chris was cloaked by the camo along with them. They then hurried to set up a machine where Chris was sleeping, which conveyed a hologram of Chris sleeping in the sleeping bag.


Meanwhile, at the campsite, Daisuke had set up a mobile building. Inside were a bed, a changing room, a bathroom, some drawers, and a mini-fridge. "Hmm.... what should I wear." Daisuke said as he rummaged through the drawers. "First off, I have to take this dark outfit off if I’m gonna convince Chris I don't work for the darkness anymore." Daisuke said as he sighed as he took off all his clothes, and removed a black ring with a dark crystal from his ring finger. "My engagement ring.... I better put this somewhere safe where Chris won't see it." Daisuke said as he stashed it in a chest in the back.

"I better get some clothes on huh?" Daisuke asked himself, laughing. He opened his bag and put on his old khaki shorts, put on his blue socks and orange boots, followed by his flaming jacket. He decided not to put a shirt on; his bare chest shown from his jacket was actually kind of sexy. He finished up by putting on his yellow gloves and the goggles Taichi had given him.

"Looking good. I think I’m ready, now I got the mini-fridge with all the fruit and things in there next to the bed." Daisuke said as he went outside.

The scouts arrived with a sleeping Chris in tow. "Good job guys, I didn't think Chris would still be sleeping." Daisuke said.

"Oh we did give him some sedatives on the trip here, but he should come around soon. It was a very light dose." The scout said as they brought Chris in and threw him onto the bed.

"All right men, return to your posts before he wakes." Daisuke told them.

Chris moaned as he was thrown, onto of all things, a bed. He knew that he was abducted, he couldn't yell out when he was taken as his mouth was covered. He realized he had been drugged, so he was forced into slumber for most of the trip. His head still felt a little light but nothing too serious.

He heard a voice "Chris-kun.... wake up." A voice called to him. He recognized the voice; his eyes finally began to focus. He was on a bed, next to Daisuke. "Hi Chris." Daisuke said.

"Daisuke? Where am I? What are you up to now?" Chris asked, demanding an explanation.

"Chris, I've been free from the Kaizer and the darkness for a while now." Daisuke said.

"But I saw you with him today...." Chris said.

"I've been putting on a little show for the Kaizer so I can get you guys some intelligence." Daisuke answered.

"But, that doesn’t change... Hikari, you did it, you killed her!" Chris yelled as tears streamed down his eyes.

"Chris, I'm sorry, please don’t hate me... It was the darkness.... the spores... please believe me, I am so sorry for your loss." Daisuke said looking at Chris as some tears dropped from his eyes.

Chris deep down, had a very big crush on Daisuke and he knew deep down Daisuke was a very good guy and wouldn't hurt anyone. "Daisuke... It just hurts that she's gone." Chris said as he began to cry.

Daisuke quickly grabbed a tissue and wiped both of their tears. "Don't cry Chris-kun. Please?" Daisuke told him.

"I just feel so stressed out." Chris said.

"Well, I saw you getting kidnapped. I was able to rescue you, and I brought you here. I've also heard how nervous you were, you’re the only one who knows I’ve turned. So don’t be surprised if the others still hate me okay?" Daisuke said. "I want you to be able to relax. I've heard about what happens at school. I know people have beaten on you and abused you. I know how it feels. Chris, I want you to have an easier time. Also, for about as long as I've known you, as you played soccer with me. I developed a crush on you, and the attraction increased as I've hung out with you. I'm in love with you Chris." Daisuke said.

"Daisuke. I've felt the same way for you, and I should be glad you were there to rescue me. But, you should know, all the bad experiences I've had, has made me scared of love and intimacy, let alone sex. It makes me very nervous." Chris said.

"I respect that, if you want however, I can teach you and go very easy on you. I can show you the pleasurable kind. The kind those dickheads forced you into, I personally don’t believe in that! I think it's more worthwhile if everyone involved is having a good time with no thoughts of pain or stress. You want to try Chris?" Daisuke asked in a loving, caring tone.

"Daisuke, I do... I'm just very anxious and scared." Chris said.

"I know what we need to do. We need to get you in the mood. Just trust me, I'll never do anything to hurt you. I love you too much. I'll put on some music, and you look kind of hungry. Dining and music play a part in intimacy, did you know that?" Daisuke said as he turned on some soft rock on a CD system in the room.

"No, I didn't" Chris answered.

Daisuke smiled as he opened the fridge and pulled out strawberries and cream, and some honey.


Daisuke took a strawberry that was swabbed up with cream, and ate it himself. He took the next one and traced it over Chris's lips. Chris then opened his mouth and let it slide onto his tongue inside his mouth. He than started to chew as Daisuke then kissed him, trying to help Chris eat the strawberry by chewing it in the kiss.

Chris swallowed half of it and so did Daisuke. "Chris, what comes next will be hard for you, but trust me when I say that you'll actually really enjoy the experience, don’t focus on the pain. Keep your thoughts on how much you love me and just think about being with me, try to feel the pleasure more than the pain." Daisuke said as he began to kiss Chris and eventually it led to Chris's shirt being removed and Daisuke's jacket being opened more. They rubbed and felt each other as Daisuke guided Chris in his movements.

"We won't go far, you look like you need some rest, we can continue another time, yay, tomorrow I get to go with you to see the others and convince Taichi not to cut me down where I stand." Daisuke said grinning.

Chris fell asleep in Daisuke's embrace. "I love you Daisuke." Chris said passing into sleep.

Daisuke then began contemplating. I feel strange, like the darkness has left me. I, myself feel more at ease with Chris at my side than with Ken. I don't like how Ken's changed himself into being more about power than love. I think Chris's love has weakened my spores to the point I have control... I'll stay with Chris and help free Ken, and I can finally right what I did wrong. I'm not completely sure we can even rescue Ken, let alone love him like I do for Chris right now. Daisuke thought.

"I love you too Chris-kun." Daisuke said as he got up for a minute to radio Ken.

"Hey, I would like permission to go with Chris so I can spy on the Chosen Children." Daisuke lied to his former love and master.

"Of course Daisuke, I have complete faith you will provide great recon." Ken said, completely unaware that his second in command had turned on him.

Daisuke clicked the radio link closed, and hugged Chris again as he fell asleep with him.


The next morning, Daisuke awakened Chris. He was standing there with his clothes from last night on, except he was wearing a thin white shirt under his coat.

"Chris, Let's go see the others." Daisuke said with an uneasy voice as the two of them left and they got back to Primary Village, where everyone else was just waking up.

“Hey, somebody’s coming!” Jyou called out.

"Umm.... Chris.... That you?" Taichi said slowly waking up.

"Hi Oniichan, look who I have with me." Chris said smiling as Daisuke crept out.

"Hey Taichi-sempai.... err... long time no see?" Daisuke lowly asked.

Everyone in the camp was shocked to see Daisuke, the Imperial Consort; standing in their camp, in Chris’s company, even wearing is old clothes no less.

"Oniichan, Daisuke's back on our side! He saved me last night when I get kidnapped. He took good care of me!" Chris said trying to vouch for him.

"I Believe Chris-kun, but, even if you are on our side again... It still doesn’t change the fact you are Hikari's murderer. Give me one good reason to not cut you down." Taichi said immediately drawing his bastard sword.

Yamato woke up next, seeing Daisuke and Taichi with his sword drawn, he immediately rushed over and restrained Daisuke's arms behind his back. "Daisuke, I will not forget the day you made my brother your slave! Taichi-san, kill this traitor." Yamato said holding Daisuke steady.

Daisuke groaned, as he couldn’t free himself from Yamato's strong grasp. Taichi charged at him with his sword and tried to stab him but, Chris got in front of him and took the stab in his chest, luckily it didn’t go deep, Chris quickly started to bleed as Taichi promptly removed the sword.

"Chris! Why did you do that?" Taichi asked, completely shocked.

"Because, he's changed, he’s no longer the cold-hearted Consort, He's one of us again Oniichan.... And, I love him... I love him with all my being...." Chris said groaning in pain.

Daisuke, seeing Chris get cut instead of him, struggled out of Yamato’s grasp, desperate to get to Chris. Daisuke rushed over, and removed his white shirt and applied it to Chris's wound to apply pressure to stop the bleeding.

"Guys, I want to help, so I can save Ken from himself, and so I can atone for my sins. Also, all of what Chris-kun said was true, I rescued him, I'm back on your side, and, Chris and I are in love. I talked with Chris last night. And I helped him learn what love was. We just kissed and hugged and touched a little. I'm taking it slow with him. I don't believe in "rough" intimacy." Daisuke explained.

"I understand... but I'll be watching you." Taichi said.

Daisuke helped Chris to his feet, and got some bandages to cover up the wound.

Yamato however, looked very angry, pushed Daisuke down and drew his spear. Lifting it up, Yamato was ready to bring it down and skewer Daisuke’s belly. Yamato started to bring it down.

“Don’t do it!!!” Chris screamed.

Jyou heard Chris’s scream and ran over and quickly stopped the spear, holding it back with his hands on the hilt. “Don’t kill him, you would stoop to Ken’s level?” Jyou said.

Yamato withdrew his spear. “Fine, whatever.” Yamato said as he took a few steps back.

As Daisuke began getting up and walking a bit, he was quickly kicked in the back of his knee, making him fall to his knees. It was Miyako who kicked him. She quickly pressed her knees down on the back on Daisuke’s knee and used her arms to restrain Daisuke’s hands and arms behind his back tightly. “You can be surprised…” Miyako started to say.

Iori then said to finish the sentence, “What you can live through.”



Iori walked up to the pinned Daisuke. “Takeru… Hikari… You are a disgrace to all human beings... Now you must face the consequences of your actions.” Iori said coldly, his face showed a spectrum of emotions. Hate, anger, sadness, regret, and apathy. He pulled back his clenched fist and screamed with rage as he harshly punched Daisuke in the jaw.

Daisuke’s lip was bleeding, and a bruise began to form on his cheek. He was a bit shaken by Iori’s words, he was no longer struggling to get away, but one though echoed in his head. At least my mind is free. Although I won’t be surprised if they make me a prisoner and never forgive me. Daisuke thought sadly.

Yamato grinned as he went up and began punching Daisuke in the face relentlessly.

Daisuke’s face became bruised a bleeding quickly, his nose and lips were all bleeding, and his face was getting bruised.

“Miyako, release him.” Yamato said.

Miyako hurried to let him go and get away as Yamato swiftly planted a kick from his brown shoe to Daisuke’s chin, knocking him the rest of the way to the ground. He was now unconscious.

“Daisuke…No…” Chris said silently as he eyes brimmed over with tears, his feelings torn asunder by his close friends, brutalizing and mistreating the boy he loved. He soon sat down, hugging his knees as he put his face on his legs and began sobbing.

Taichi looked over to him for a second. “Aren’t you guys overreacting just a little?” Taichi asked Yamato.

“Fuck no, Daisuke has had it coming. He’s fucking lucky he still draws breath.” Yamato said heavily.

Sora, along with Mimi, went over to comfort Chris. “Oh Chris, please don’t be like this. Be brave… Daisuke will be ok, I promise.” Sora said.

Mimi, who was rubbing Chris’s shoulder, went over to the others. “Leave Daisuke-kun alone, Chris wouldn’t lie to us. Violence never solves anything. Miyako, you have to trust us. For god’s sake, look at Chris-kun for a second! There was a time you felt the same way, about Ken, can’t you show some sympathy because of that?” Mimi said to Miyako, pointing to Chris, who was still curled up, hugging himself, with Sora caressing his back with tears in her eyes.

“He murdered Hikari, my friend, my Jogress partner, you have no clue…” Miyako said. She then looked to Chris and Sora. “Fine. We will leave him be… For now.” Miyako said.

“I want him tied up and have him a safe distance away from us. Just get the bastard out of my sight before I explode again.” Yamato said.

Miyako and Iori lifted Daisuke up harshly as they took him a little away from the group. Miyako promptly tied his wrists together behind his back and forced him to a sitting position against a tree.

Chris managed to stand at this point, Taichi looked to him.

“Chris, the time has come to begin your training. I won’t move you up to weapons and elemental powers yet. We need to get you so you don’t have to rely on them.” Taichi said.

The training began, Taichi charged at Chris and began to attack him. Punches flew at Chris as he took them. Chris soon grew scared and confused.

“You have to fight back Chris, come on.” Taichi said.

Chris tried to throw a punch at Taichi but he misses and the punch wasn’t very balanced.

Daisuke looked on at the training. He began thinking, Taichi expects Chris to just know… He doesn’t understand. He needs to be taught before trained.

Taichi withdrew himself. “Take a break for a little Chris. Try to learn from the mistakes you made.” Taichi said as he and the rest of the group went to eat.

Chris just stared at his food. He then looked to Daisuke. He went over to him. “Here, Daisuke, have something to eat.” Chris said as he offered a bite of his food and offered it to Daisuke’s mouth.

Daisuke happily ate the bite, and ate the others Chris offered. “Chris, thank you. But won’t you get in trouble with the others?” Daisuke asked.

“I don’t care. I accept you Daisuke, they may not, but I hope they will open their eyes soon.” Chris said.

“Thanks, by the way, I was thinking, maybe you could untie me while they are occupied, we can sneak back to the real world, I can actually teach you things about self defense, we can talk, just get away from Kaizer and the others for a while, I know it was hard for you to watch me get hurt, I’m ok though. Would you like that Chris?” Daisuke said grinning.

“Sure, just a moment.” Chris said as he went back to the group.

“Hey, I need go back to the real world for a bit, to unwind and stuff, so can I take Daisuke with me, he will be away from here so you won’t have to worry.” Chris said.

“Sure Chris, but contact me if he pulls anything.” Taichi said.

“As long as he’s away from us.” Yamato said, Miyako and Iori echoing his feelings through their expressions.

Chris ran back to Daisuke and began to untie him. After getting him free, Chris followed Daisuke as he began to walk into the woods.

“Here it is!” Daisuke said as he pulled some bushes away to reveal a digiport.

“Daisuke!” A familiar voice echoed. It was V-mon, he ran up and hugged Daisuke, he was no longer wearing a dark spiral.

“V-mon! I’m so glad to see you! What happened to the spiral though?” Daisuke asked hugging V-mon.

“The spiral stopped functioning last night for some reason. I’m free is all I care about. You are too Daisuke.” V-mon said.

“When…The engagement ring, and my spores left me.” Daisuke said.

“I’ve been holding onto these for you.” V-mon said as he reached into a nearby tree trunk and pulled out his old D-3 and D-terminal.

“Thanks V-mon. Can you wait here for me, I’ll be back before the end of the day. Chris-kun, let’s go!” Daisuke said as he grabbed Chris’s hand and they were transported thru the digiport with V-mon nodding and waving.


Meanwhile, at Daisuke’s campsite…

“Damn, this is the last place I sensed my love’s darkness.” Kaizer said as he tore the room apart. He found the ring on the counter. “He must’ve worked up enough will to take the ring off and break from the will of Dagomon. He’s “Free” from me now. Not for long.” The Kaizer said, at first greatly agitated, but it was replace with a confident smirk.

Animeleader4: I thought this might be a nice place to end the chapter. As for the unexpected Daisuke/OC coupling, I thought it would be a good Idea, so Daisuke isn’t EXCLUSIVE to Ken/Kaizer only.
