Chapter 5: Secret Revealed



"What a
weird dream…" Taichi said. He picked up the piece of paper. Sure enough, it
said the same thing: 'Yuuki wo Tsubasa ni Shite…'

"I remember this from somewhere before. What does it mean,"
Taichi pondered. He got up and got dressed. Hikari was waiting for him at the
breakfast table.

"So Taichi, what happened yesterday? You also look glum.
What's wrong now?"

Taichi sat at the table with Agumon's egg on his lap.

"It was nothing Hikari. Just a big fight, that's all. That's
all…"

"No it wasn't Taichi," Tailmon said from under the table,
"It was something else. Something bad."

"And how do you know Tailmon?!" Taichi shouted. He stopped
and then mumbled sorry.

"We're grumpy today aren't we Taichi?" Tailmon said, "Tell
us what's wrong."

"Not now Tailmon," Taichi said, pointing at the clock on
their wall, "It's time for school."

"Tell us later then, OK?" Hikari said.

"OK," Taichi replied, though he didn't want to. 'Saved by
the clock… I guess.'









"Hey! Taichi! Wait up!"

Hikari ran up to Taichi after school was over. Hikari
stopped in front of him and panted abit.

"Taichi, aren't you coming to the DD meeting with me?"

"Uh, no. Not today Hikari," Taichi said, hesitating. Taichi
started to walk away. Hikari grabbed Taichi's arm.

"Wait, Taichi, why not?" Hikari asked. Taichi shook her
away.

"Just don't wanna." He started walking away back to his
house as Hikari watched him go.



Hikari walked to the DD meeting
alone that day. 'I tried,' Hikari thought, 'I can't say I didn't
try…'

"Hey Hikari, where's Taichi?" Takeru asked. Hikari shook her
head.

"He wouldn't come. And something's wrong," Hikari said,
"Something bad happened yesterday, I know it."

"Yeah, Agumon's a digiegg now," Tailmon responded. Everyone
gasped.

"What? Agumon's an egg now?!?!" Gabumon exclaimed.

"Yeah," Tailmon said, sorrowfully.

"Something's up and Taichi's not telling us it…" Koushiro
mumbled and paced around the area they were in, "we have to know what's up with
Taichi… Something's seriously wrong…"
"And how do we do that…?" Daisuke asked.

"I don't know yet!" Koushiro said. Everyone sighed. "Well,
hey, you people try being the smart one of the group!" Koushiro challenged. Everyone
fidgeted in defeat. The rest of the conversation was a talk about how to get
Taichi to tell them what was wrong. After a while, Hikari spoke up, breaking
the silence.

"Why don't we go to the Digiworld? That's probably where
Taichi went! Maybe we can find out there!"

"Good idea Hikari!" Koushiro said, "so everyone? Let's go!"
Koushiro urged everyone up and took out his laptop that he always had
everywhere with him. He opened it up and got it prepared. "Open the gate
someone," Koushiro said.

Miyako walked over and held her D-3 to the computer.
"Digi-port Open!" Miyako said and they were all sucked in.









Meanwhile, Taichi was at home,
Agumon's egg in his hands. In his other hand was that piece of paper. 'What
does this piece of paper mean… I just don't get it! On the other hand, when
will Agumon hatch… And most importantly… who ARE these people…" Taichi
couldn't exactly explain it. One was filled with evil and darkness. One with a
twisted mind and something that made your blood run cold everytime they were
there. The other on the other hand, was filled with hope and light. A feeling
of calmness surrounded this one.

Taichi picked up the piece of paper and read it over, again
and again, but it still didn't make sense to him. 'Yuuki wo Tsubasa ni
Shite…I've heard it somewhere before… But… I can't figure it out… What do these
words mean…' Taichi sighed and
paced around the room. When he got tried of that, he sat down, resting, but all
of a sudden… He just… froze…

A voice…
There was a voice in his head… 'Angel of Courage… Come back to the Digital
World… Or are you a coward…'

That voice, he'd know it anyway. It was him.
Taichi sat there, angry… Hatred filled him. He forgot all about the note,
picked up Agumon's egg and ran towards his dad's computer.

"Digi-Port Open!" Taichi called out as he was sucked into
the Digital World.



'Excellent…' A figure
whispered, watching Taichi's every move. 'He's coming… Get ready…'

Another figure bowed before the first figure. 'Yes
master…'









'The time has come…' It was the other figure that
spoke, the one full of hope and light. 'Taichi… The time has come…'









"I'm tired…
Where exactly are we going… How do we find Taichi anyways? The DigiWorld is
huge!" Miyako complained.

"Quit complaining…" Daisuke muttered.

"Hang on…" Koushiro said as his Digivice began to beep.
Koushiro looked at it. "Taichi just came to the DigiWorld, he's headed towards
Infinity Mountain, but two other figures are there. Is this what Taichi was
hiding all along…?"

"I have a bad feeling about this…" Patamon told them all,
"those two figures seem evil…"

"Well, if they are evil, we've got to go help Taichi!"
Tailmon told them, "who knows what might happen."

"Tailmon's right, we've got to check it out," Hikari said.

"Well, let's get going then," Yamato said. "Right!" The
others called out and ran towards Infinity Mountain with their Digimon.









'He's at the top… the top of the mountain…' a voice
in Taichi's head whispered to him, 'the top…' Taichi had just come out
of the Portal when that voice spoke to him. Without thinking who may have said
it or what, Taichi ran towards Infinity Mountain, Agumon's digiegg clutched in
his hand.

As he
reached the top of the mountain, it got colder. Not cold as in cold, but cold
as in dark…



Meanwhile, the other DigiDestineds were also running up the
mountain, just not using the same path as Taichi.



Taichi
reached the top, only to be pushed and pinned to the side of the mountain.

"Hey! No fair! Only cowards attack like that!" Taichi
shouted out angrily. Still hidden in darkness, the figure secretly smiled. 'Foolish
DigiDestined… This is my world… My rules… I can do as I please…'

"Your world?!!? The DigiWorld belongs to no one!"
''Til now…'

It was at this time that the others reached the top and saw
a dark figure with Taichi in his grasp. "Taichi!!!" Sora shouted out, startling
the figure and dropping Taichi. Taichi quickly got up, still holding onto
Agumon's egg. He stared at the dark figure coldly, then blinked and blinked
again. Was it possible… There was yet another dark figure there.

"Who are you!" Taichi demanded.

'Why… Your rival of course…'

"Your name! Tell me!"

'I am… the Dark Digidestined of Fear…' For the first
time, the figure flew into the light to reveal his face. His hair was like Taichi's… Only white… A
red scar was embedded on the right side of his face. The dark figure beside
this person also flew into the light, revealing BlackWargreymon. A silence
filled the place as all stared at this person. He smiled slyly and broke the
silence. 'I am… Neo…'









x.X Ok… That just sucked… Um… R&R please! After my long
silence, I have woken again! I'll be ready with Chapter 6 soon! Hopefully…
School's coming… ;-; Unfairness… Meh… Anyways, just… Enjoy that lousy chapter
and I'll come up with a better chapter soon! For some people, Neo is Taichi's
rival in the VTamer Manga. Mwahaha, watch as I combine VTamers and the show
Digimon together! XD Anyways, ja ja!
