Digimon Fan Fiction ❯ Dark and Stormy Night ❯ Chapter 1

I do not own Digimon or any of the charcters. I just like to write for them! ^^ I think you all knew that though. Okay I tried out a new style of writing and I'm not sure that I really like it… ^^ Please tell me what you think be it good or bad!!! Thanks!

It was a dark and stormy night in Odiba. Our digidestened were all at Daisuke's house, just hanging out.

Normally Sora would be frightened by this intense of a storm but since she had Yamato to cuddle up to and keep her safe and all of her friends to comfort her she was okay.

Then all of the sudden they heard over the radio that the storm was getting worse and not expected to subside until morning.

The digidestened cheered as they were going to be spending the night at Daisuke's house for a sleepover.

"Yeah!" Miyako and Hikari cheered. "A new adventure!"

"Uh oh, Trouble always comes with those words." Yamato exclaimed.

"Okay I'll give you that" Miyako confessed.

They all gathered candles and put them in the middle of the living room.

"Where'd Hikari go?" Sora asked.

"I don't know. Where's Takeru?" Yamato said. Then they both laughed.

Sora and Yamato opened the storage room door and there was Hikari and Takeru.

"AHH!" Hikari screamed "Don't you knock?"

"Why don't you go bug Miyako and Ken!" Takeru added.

Sora and Yamato laughed and went off to find Miyako and Ken.

Yamato kicked open the washroom door.

"AHH!" Ken screamed "You almost gave me a heart attack!"

Now with everyone accounted for they moved back into the living room for a movie and some popcorn.

"What movie should we watch? We have our pick of what Daisuke owns" Iori asked.

"Hey! It's not my fault that I'm the only one in my family that buys movies!" Daisuke said.

"Let's watch Ringu!" Taichi exclaimed and they all settled down to watch the movie and eat popcorn. Little did they know the horror that awaited them.

"Man, I love that movie!" Taichi stated and pointing at Mimi exclaimed "You were so scared! I've never seen anything funnier!"

They all laughed and Mimi blushed.

"I was just joking" Tai consoled.

Just then the lights went out. Mimi screamed and grabbed the person closest to her. The lights came back on just as fast as they went off and Mimi was surprised to be holding onto Jou, whom she had secretly had a crush on for a long time.

They both blushed and Mimi let go.

"Let's light the candles so we can see the next time the lights go out." Koushiro suggested.

"I think some one should go to the storage room closet and get some flashlights" Mimi added.

Miyako looked at Ken "Okay, we'll go to the storage room and look for `flashlights'." And with that Miyako grabbed Ken's hand and dragged him out into the hallway.

"Well, I don't expect them back for a while." Sora exclaimed.

And with that Koushiro went off to look for Miyako and Ken to keep the hanky panky down to a minimum. But as soon as he got to the kitchen in his search, he felt that someone was behind him.

"Okay guys stop playing around, you need to come back to the group so we can keep an eye on you." Koushiro said turning around. He tried to let out a scream of surprise and warning but it was too late. The killer slashed him in the throat. Koushiro dropped and the killer carried him off to his hiding spot.

Just then Miyako and Ken came back to the living room laughing and giggling.

"Where's Koushiro?" Iori asked.

"Who knows? Let him keep looking for us! He's more fun that way" Miyako laughed.

"By the way, where are the flashlights?" Daisuke asked laughing.

"Umm, umm oh here they are!" Miyako pointed to the table where they were the whole time and everyone laughed.

Suddenly all the lights went out again! Sora screamed.

"Well at least we have the candles lit and the flashlights this" Taichi exclaimed.

"Don't you think it's been a really long time since Koushiro went to look for us?" Ken said.

"Let's go and look for him" Jou ordered.

They split up and started looking for him. Hikari and Takeru took the bathrooms, Miyako and Ken took the play area, Daisuke and Iori checked the bedrooms, Taichi, Sora and Yamato looked in the storage room and Jou and Mimi checked the kitchen.

When they entered the kitchen Mimi slipped and fell on a puddle.

"What is that?" Mimi asked.

Jou put the flashlight beam on Mimi and the puddle.

Mimi started screaming. She was in the middle of a puddle of blood and she was covered in it!

With the sound of Mimi's scream everyone came running to the kitchen. They were horrified by the prospect of someone being dead and someone causing it.

They decided to look once more for Koushiro. Maybe it was just and accident and Koushiro was looking for them.

They walked off searching again. Miyako and Ken were looking in the play room when all of a sudden Ken disappeared from behind Miyako.

"Ken! Ken! This is not funny!" Miyako yelled.

Suddenly Miyako saw someone run by. "Ken! I've had enough of your games!"

Miyako followed the mysterious shadow until it disappeared. Once again reappeared right behind her and before she turned around the killer had her by the throat choking her. Miyako couldn't even scream!

"Now I'm just down to nine!" The evil monstrous murderous murderer exclaimed.

Hikari and Takeru searched the bathrooms high and low (Daisuke's house has two of them okay?).

"No Koushiro. Now what do we do?" Hikari asked.

"Go back to the living room I guess. Maybe Koushiro went back there." Takeru suggested. And with that they were heading towards the living room when the killer popped out and stabbed Takeru in the back.

"Hikari!" Takeru screamed "RUN!"

Hikari started crying "No! I can't leave you!"

"Go Hikari Run!" Takeru yelled once again.

So Hikari took off running down the ball with the killer in hot pursuit.

"Help! Help! He's got Takeru! Help! Help!" Hikari yelled.

Taichi, Yamato, Sora, Daisuke, Jou, Mimi and Iori all came running.

"What is it?" Mimi yelled.

"There's a killer and he's got Takeru! He jumped out at us and stabbed Takeru!" Hikari screamed.

"Got try the phones" Yamato exclaimed, "Taichi and I will check out the situation!"

"Thank you! Hurry he's really hurt!" Hikari said to her brother.

The others got to the phone and there was no dial tone on the line and the storm was still too rough to go out in.

Daisuke was getting fed up with it.

"Screw this, I'm going to the kitchen and getting some protection!" Daisuke stormed off to the kitchen.

Everyone followed him back to the kitchen and they all got some butcher knifes and went to find the three boys. Just then the killer jumped out again but this time they were all prepared. They slashed back at him and got his arm.

"Ouch!" The killer screamed in a very female voice.

"JUN?!?!" Daisuke exclaimed.

"It's a girl?" everyone else screamed.

The killer took of her mask and indeed it was Jun.

Distraught over Matt not liking her and then going out with Sora, Jun went crazy and tried to kill Matt and all his friends. But Matt and his friends tricked her into getting into the storage room and locked Jun in there until the next morning when help arrived.

Okay, okay, Takeru, Koushiro, Miyako and Ken were okay. The stupid boys took them to the hospital after they spent the whole time bandaging them up while the girls did all the dirty work of cleaning. Takeru recovered from his back stab wound and Koushiro only had a shallow cut in his neck. Koushiro had fainted from blood loss but after a few days he was doing better. Miyako hadn't been completely suffocated and when she blacked out from lack of oxygen Jun had let her go (Jun really wasn't very good at this killer thing). Ken had only broken a leg when he was knocked unconscious. He won't be playing soccer anytime soon ^^
