Chapter 10: Hit and Run

He ran out of the hotel with only a pair of red boxers. He saw her run out to the street and then that's when it happened. "MIMI!" Matt screamed as he saw the car hit Mimi. She didn't even had time to scream, it happened so fast, but you could see the fear on her face as the car hit her. The car backed up after it hit Mimi and then skidded away. It seems everything in his body when dead. He ran to her, "Get the fuck out of my way!" he shouted to the people who surrounded her. He grabbed her petite body and hugged to his body, he held her hand softly. "Mimi, sweetheart, opened your eyes!" He cried. She looked into his eyes then she eyes closed. "No, Mimi! Someone call 911 now!" He demanded.

Ten minutes later an Ambulance arrived to assist their help, they placed her on the stretcher, and put her in the ambulance. Matt got into the ambulance, grasping her hand tightly. "Mimi, please don't leave me," Matt cried sadly. "I cant loose you again," he said. Tears ran down his face, this was the first time he broke down and cried in a long time. The last time he did cry was when Mimi left him, and went to America. Matt followed the doctors. He was so scared to lose her again. He didn't know what he was going to do if he lost her. Probably would've gone insane because Mimi was gone. They arrived to the hospital and took her to the emergency room.

"I'm sorry Mister, you have to stay here," one of the doctors told him. He looked at the doctor sadly. "Yamato, we'll do everything we can." Matt looked at the doctor with bewilderment. "Don't remember me Yamato?" the young doctor asked him. The doctor had dark indigo hair, shoulder length, and had a pair of glasses on. "It's me, Jyou," he told him.

"Jyou-kun? It's really you?" Matt said surprisingly.

"Yes, Yamato-kun." Jyou smiled.

"You're a doctor now," Matt said.

"Yeah, now, I'm sorry I have to cut our reunion short. I have to see what happen to your lady friend." Jyou said. "Just wait here till I come back, and I'll give you the updates on her conditions." Matt nodded as he watch the doctor leave. He plop himself in the wait room chairs. His hands covered his face in distress.

Takeru walked into the park and sat himself at the bench in front of the water fountain. He wondered where was he? He asked him to meet him here. And where was he now? Takeru watched couples pass by him, and little children playing together. He began lazily to play with his wedding band on his finger. How he adore his lovely wife Hikari.

"Takeru-kun," he interrupted his thoughts. Takeru looked at the man in front of him. He was dressed in black leather pants, a body tight gray shirt, and black boots. He had pierced both of his ears and his cartilage pierce on the left side. Takeru shook his head as he continues to observe him. Once wild spiky chocolate brown hair now was had golden frost tips.

"Daisuke-kun," Takeru said to him. "It's nice to see you again." Daisuke smiled at him. Takeru was dressed in fade out blue jeans with tan Timberland boots and a tan muscle shirt on. Daisuke notices the earring that was on Takeru's left ear. It was the Chinese character symbol meaning light. Kari-chan.

"Same to you Takeru-kun," Daisuke replied.

"Why did you call me?" Takeru asked him.

"Straight to the point huh Tk?" Daisuke said. "And don't worry I'm not trying to steal your wife from you." Tk arched his eyebrow as he remembered how Daisuke try to steal Kari away from him on their wedding day. "I wanted to tell you, I think I have fallen in love. And I'm thinking to propose to her." Daisuke explained.

"That's it?" Takeru questioned.

"No, that not it. The problem is I'm afraid to ask her." Daisuke told him.

"Oh, Daisuke-kun, do you love her?" Tk asked him.

"Yes, I think more than I loved Kari-chan, she like the air I breath, Takeru-kun," Daisuke said to him. "I never had this feeling for Kari, but this feeling I get from her, it scares me," Takeru begin to laugh.

"Your in love Dai," Takeru said simply. "Propose to her," Takeru began to fiddle with his ring again.

"Thanks Tk! I'm glad I came to talk to you." Daisuke smiled as he saw Tk play with his wedding ring. "Tell Kari I will always love her, but I think I have found my soul mate. I will always keep her somewhere special in my heart," Takeru nodded his head. The two friends stood up from the bench. "Thanks again TC!" Daisuke teased.

"Bye Davis! Keep us posted when you two are getting married." Tk told him. Then Daisuke's lips were on his. It was quick kiss, but a sweet kiss. It had surprised him; the last time him and Daisuke kissed each other was in college. Takeru looked at him and a smile appeared on his lips.

"For old time sake!" Daisuke said then ran off.

He shook her lightly. She slept peacefully in his arms, he didn't want to wake her up, but he was getting hungry. And he couldn't move because she was on top of him. "Huh?" she groaned. She looked up into his brown eyes. "Anthony? Oh my goodness…what time is it?" she asked as she lifted herself off him. She yawned and began to stretch herself out.

"3' o clock in the afternoon," he told her.

"What are you serious?" Melody shouted. There was ruffling noise outside of the hotel room.

"Hey Tunes! Are you still sleeping?" Juri yelled as she entered the room. "You won't believe whose here!" Then she opened the door to his room. "Oh!" she grasped. "Anthony Tunes Om, you tiger!" she teased.

"Juri is he awake and decent?" Rika asked her as she came behind her. "Melody?" she questioned her, seeing her under the blanket in intimate position with Anthony. She raised her eyebrow with curiosity.

"Melody? Anthony, tiger?" Takato and Lee said in unison running to Anthony's room.

"Its not what you think!" Anthony protested. "We didn't do anything! Honestly right Melody?" He looked at her asking her silently to back him up. She smiled at him mischievously. "Right, Melody," he repeated.

"Tunes, Baby, we don't have to lie to them," Melody said. Anthony looked at her in shock. "Right, love?" she said. Her lips got close to his lips. He watched her slowly as her lips barely touching his. Then she turned her head and faced his friends. She let the bed sheet slid down a little to show her left bared shoulder. She saw their eyes bugging out in surprise "Just kidding! You swear that him, and me," she joked. Anthony fell out of the bed.

"What!" they all shouted.

"Melody, your such a tease!" Anthony snapped back at her.

"I just wanted to mess with your mind for a little bit." She teased, winked and blew a kiss at him as she rolled over to his side. Then she got of his bed and dropped the bed sheet showing that she was still full dressed.

"What's taking you guys long!" A familiar voice called to them. "Are you guys going to make me wait out here all day,"

"Sorry!" yelled Takato.

"You can come in." Lee told it.

"Hey where are you guys?" it called again.

"Over here!" Juri said. "In Tunes's room." It entered the room. Melody looked at it and it looked so familiar to her

"Ryo!" Melody said in shock. "Is that really you Yo-Yo?"

"Melody?" Ryo replied. " My Little Sunshine!"

"You two know each other too?" Lee questioned them. She ran towards him and jump into his arms.

"Oh my goodness! I never expected to see you here Ryo!" Melody said happily. He kissed her cheek sweetly. She blushed bright red.

He smiled at her. "So did I, I miss you little Sunshine!" he said.

"I miss you too Ryo-kun!" she replied. Anthony looked at the two feeling a twinge striking him at his heart. Was he jealous? What was this feeling? Melody was never his in the beginning, why does he feel this way? He thought to himself.

"Ms. Tachiwaka!" a bellboy shouted. Melody snapped her head back. "Ms. Tachiwaka! I have critical message for you!" he shouted again wondering where was she. She broke from Ryo's grip and ran to the bellboy that was out in the hall.

"What is it?" she asked afraid to know the answer. Everyone went to the hallway and waited for the news that the bellboy was going to tell Melody.

"Your mother," he started.

"I don't want to hear about it!" Melody snapped at the boy.

"No, Ms. Tachiwaka! I think you must know!" he insisted.

"Why!" she asked him. "It might be just another lie."

"Because your mother is in the hospital!" he told her. Melody face went white as she heard the news about her mother.

"What? You're lying!" she screamed. Tears ran down her face, she couldn't believe it.

"She got hit by a car earlier this morning," the bellboy explained.

"No! It's a lie!" she protested. They stood there silently, and wished they could do something for her.

"Melody," Anthony said softly. Melody turned and faced everyone.

"No!" she cried into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her protectively.

"She going to be alright Mel, I promise you." Anthony said soothingly and comforting her.

Sora just got done washing the dishes. I got to tell him. She told herself. This secret has been eating me alive inside. She told herself. She walked into the family room were her son and her loving husband was sitting down on the couch watching T.V. She didn't say anything, but watched the two adoring each other.

"You know what daddy? Ein said to her husband Tai.

"What Ein?" he asked.

"I love you daddy…" Ein claimed as he hugged Tai.

"I love you too buddy." Tai said back to him.

"Tai," Sora said. Tai looked up to his wife seeing the seriousness in her eyes.

"Yeah Sora, what is it?" he asked.

"Ein honey, can I steal your daddy for a couple of minutes?" Sora asked her son. Ein nodded his head. Tai kissed his son head before he stood and walked away from the couch. Tai followed Sora upstairs to their room. Sora closed the door; then locked the door.

"What's wrong Sora?" he asked almost as if he was scared to hear her answer. A single tear ran down his wife's face. He quickly went to her side and embracing her in his arms. "Sora, you know you can tell me anything," he said soothingly.

"I know Tai, but I'm afraid to tell you. Because I know your family means a lot to you," Sora said sadly. "This secret has been eating at me for two weeks."

"Sora, what is it. Maybe I can help you," Tai said.

"I went to visit your mother and father for our usual lunch date," Sora explained. "As I enter your house, I heard something I wished I never heard."

"What did you hear?" Tai asked.

Author's Notes: I hoped you like this chapter. Wow! This turn out to be a very long chapter than I expected. Well as you can see I left you in a cliffhanger once more again. Interesting turn of events huh? Welcome to my little twisted brain of ideas. I guess it for reading too much of those V.C. Andrew Books, The Daughters of the Moon series by Ewing and Christy Miller Series by Robin Jones Gunn. Or maybe it all those animes I keep watching like Ceres, Fushigi Yugi, Ranma ½, Love Hina, Golden Boy, Weiss Kruez and many more. Chapter 11 Mama's Diary (might be the title to the chapter) [Brainstorm]

What is Sora trying to tell Tai? Is Mimi going to make it? What is Matt doing? Davis is marrying someone and its not Kari…and what's is Melody going to do now that her mother is in hospital? Is there something between Ryo and Melody/Melody and Anthony? And what happen to Jun? Where is Izzy? Is everything over Miyako and Izzy? Miyako has news to tell Ken, but what is it?

The possibilities the result to the next chapter…[ideas/brainstorming]

Sora can be cheating on Tai and it might not be their child or someone is having an affair. (haven't decided)

Matt is praying to god for a sign as he waits patiently for Mimi to awaken. Or is she going to die? (hmm…don't know)

Davis is finally letting go, but can he really propose to the mystery woman? (undecided)

Melody finds her mother diary and finds something out. (I don't know)

Jun breaks out of metal hospital. (maybe…)

Izzy is somewhere…(have no idea yet)

Miyako could be pregnant with Ken's kid or something (having made up my mind yet)

Tell me what to do….!!!
