Kari stared at Umbramon; it had been two long years since this all started when T.K. had taken her out to dinner and they first encountered the Darkness in the form of SatanicDevimon, and know there she stood hand in hand with T.K. and the rest of the Digidestineds behind them.
“Well children of the light will you surrender yourselves or must I kill all of you,” Umbramon raised his paw and began to drop it onto Davis.
“DAVIS” screamed Alexia.
Mememon digivolved into Fluttmon, then Queenmon, Alexia began to glow purple, the color of her crest, Queenmon turned into purple data and swirled around Alexia. Alexia began to transform. Alexia’s crest appeared in front of her and she shattered through it in a new form. “I am Monarkmon, the butterfly of respect”. Alexia was now in a black suit with orange armor on her shoulders, arms, and legs, she had thigh high orange and pink boots on and gloves of the same colour. She had sprouted giant orange, pink, yellow, and black butterfly wings from her back. She wore an orange helmet with black eye covers and antennas. She bore the crest of respect on her wings in purple.
She charged forward, “Mother Wind” she screamed as she flapped her wings causing Umbramon to pull his arm back the rest of the Digidestineds digivolved and charged into battle as Alexia carried Davis to safety and healed him with her powers, when he was ready he too transformed and joined into the fight. Tammy and Jun both unable to fusion Digivolve stayed behind and watched as the battle unfolded.
The angels took to the sky as the rest began to assault the ever growing evil Digimon. Tai lead the original 6 from one side while the others charged from the left and as the darkness blocked their onslaught the angels prepared their attack, but as they began to attack the darkness vanished and their assault striked the ground where it had stood. It appeared above them and swatted them to the ground.
“Pepper Inferno” a blaze of fire hit Umbramon before he could cause any real damage to his sister, her boyfriend or Catherine.
Azulongmon appeared and charged the Darkness, “Quick while I have him distracted use the power of your crests to banish him back to the Dark Ocean,” The Digidestineds all landed and wondered what Azulongmon meant. “NOW!!”
T.K. stepped forward and the crest on his chest plate began to glow and shot a beam of golden energy at Umbramon, the rest of their crest began to glow as well and as all the beams were about to merge on their target Umbramon reached forward but was caught up in Azulongmon’s chains. The power of the crests split Umbramon into billions of pieces and scattered him across the Digiworld. The group returned to normal and stood in shock at what they had just seen. Kari turned to T.K. “Is it over?”
“I do believe so my Angel,” T.K. kissed Kari as they all began to glow white, when they opened their eyes they were back in the real world.
T.K. finished his last novel of the series years had pasted since that day and so much had changed, yet stayed the same. He and Kari had gotten married and had to beautiful children and many of the others had also settled down, and gotten real jobs.
“Dad we’re gonna be late,” T.K.’s son had come in the room, “Mom and Emma are already there with Uncle Tai and the rest if we’re late were not gonna get any fun. Come on Dad!”
T.K. shut his laptop, and grabbed his digivice, he opened a portal to the Digiworld that he and his son traveled through, they appeared atop a hill where the rest of the old gang stood waiting. It was their annual reunion and T.K. and Nick walked to the top of the hill, T.K. created his wife with as kiss and they smiled as Nick ran off with the other children. Conversations arose about the daily life of their friends and how they missed the good old days. From high in the sky Azulongmon looked down with pride and smiled as he flew away ever so proud of the very odd group of people he was happy to consider his friends if not family.
