It felt like being tied down and locked up. Ken could see and hear everything, but he was unable to affect anything. The Kaizer was in control now, like before, except there was no dark spore or evil manipulations to blame this on; just his own inattentiveness. He let this darkness rise up within himself and now all he could do was watch as it tainted everything in his life that was still precious to him. Daisuke, how could Daisuke not see?

“Because he's mine,” the Kaizer's voice echoed around the cage of his mind, “And he always will be.”
