After being a fiction writer for almost five years (Yes I've been writing since I was 9)
I have finally started to learn how to write an enjoyable fiction.
So this is my third attempted digimon fic. Some of you may remember Eye
Of The Beholder (I wish I didn't) anyway Digimon-Gate Guardians will be unlike
any digimon fiction you've ever seen. It has all new characters and digimon (As well
as some familiar and not so familiar characters from the TV series and card game.
I will sometimes alternate between the Gate Guardians and Odaiba chosen. I
know I just can't geet away from them plus they will play a crucial role in this story
so I actually have a valid reason for including them.
Now I have several things to notify you of before starting
[1] I am going to use the japanese for characters but mostly American
names digimon with a few exceptions. You'll see what I mean later on.
[2] I use several japanese curses during this fic such as bakayarou and
kuso as well as some German, Spanish, and French, If you don't know
what a word means use the context (Jesus christ I'm starting to sound
like my old English teacher.)
[3] As result of a certain blonde's constant nagging ::turns and
glares:: my sister, will be co-writing this with me but for the sake of
your sanity and mine I'll try and keep her influence at a minimum.
Disclaimer: Digimon belongs solely to Toei Animation. I only own half of this plot
(actually I own three-fourths but I dare you to tell a hyperactive blonde that). So
there have been no infringement's on my part.

Digimon-Gate Guardians
Chapter I: Prophecy
"In a time long ago, a horrible and unstoppable evil reigned supreme. Seven
warriors each bearing the virtues of Miracles, Destiny, Faith, Unity, Wisdom, Purity and
Sacrifice rose up to oppose him. The battle was long and fierce and in the end it was only
He-Who-Must-Not-Named and the Princesses of Destiny, Purity, and Sacrifice left to fight
it out. With there last bit of energy the Three locked his foul soul into a tree for all
eternity." Gennai sighed as he finished but almost immediately sensed that there was
another presence in the chamber.
"What do you make of it Gennai?" Something asked from behind him. The young man
turned to see something that strongly resembled an old woman carrying a broom but he
knew better.
"I'm not quite sure Babamon, I know they were all reborn..."
"I see it still hurts to know you broke up the Three." The ancient digimon said
knowledgeably while patting him on his robed shoulder.
"Yes and LadyDevimon still found Sacrifice." Gennai muttered bitterly.
"And we would all be dead if Lucemon had found Purity and Destiny as well." Babamon
said pointedly.
"But I hate to think of what he's done to that child for the past 13 years." Gennai stated
"Ebonwumon had his reasons for separating them there is nothing you could have done
besides they will al be reunited soon in fact unless my memory is slipping as it sometimes
does in my old age it is almost time."
He chuckled softly then looked back to the stone tablet. He rechecked it but nothing
mentioned a Warrior of Melody. 'Could Ebonwumon have been wrong?' He shook his
head of that thought and continued reading.
"There is one thing that puzzles me what is this Ebonwumon said about there being
another princess?"
"That young one, is something that confuses me as well and I'm an old crone."
Gennai smirked and replied "yes you are."
"DARK BROOM!!" Babamon watched with amusement as Gennai's figure flew out of
the cave and into the night sky.
"I still got it" She said with satisfaction then slung the broom over her shoulder and
marched back into the forest to find Ebonwumon.
