Episode 6: Flight 196

The group woke up and got ready to pack their things. Kari and Davis took their suitcases to the car and put them in. Yolei and Ken got the money and the budget plans. TK just sat on Kari's bed getting this weird feeling, a sort of shivering inside feeling. He knew why, Davis and Kari.

TK:(Come on TK there are thousands of girls out there).

TK:(But I dont want a thousand girls, I want Kari)

He had always felt like this but, could never say anything. TK always swallowed his pain, hid it beneath his calm exterior. Now he was losing the control to do that. He always wanted to tell Kari how he felt. He just put it off, and now it was too late. Then Kari's voice rang out from outside the room.

Kari:TK, are you ready?

TK:Yeah I'll be right out

TK got up off the bed, and took a long look at himself in mirror

TK:(What are you looking at)

TK:(Your sorry ass, you could have Kari if you wanted, but you dont want to)

TK:(Yes I do)

TK:(Whatever)

Kari:TK! Let's go!

TK:Comming!

He picked up his hat, put it on his head, opened the door, and walked out to greet the rest of the group.

Ken:What took you so long?

TK:Oh nothing I was just...brushing my hair

Davis:Why?

TK:to get it neat, dont you brush you hair?

Davis:Yeah, but I dont wear a hat all of the time.

Ken made a faint laughing sound, then got in the passenger seat of Yolie's car. Once everyone was in Yolei started up and pulled out of the drive-way. Yolei was on the interstate in seconds flat.

Yolei:Ken, do you have the map?

Ken:Of course

Yolei:Where do I go?

Ken:Just keep driving straight

Yolei:Ok

TK was forced to sit in the back with Davis and Kari and all of the cutesy things they were saying to each other. She was kind of leaning on him. But they were looking at cars, and she was in the middle, so she had to lean over. No he knew why she was leaning on Davis, she must like him.

TK:(How could that idiot Davis every get Kari?)

It did'nt make sense to him, she use'd to do stuff to tease him, but now she was falling all over him. What was going on.

TK:(I'm just gonna forget about it and try to get a nap, who am I kidding I cant sleep with them talking.)

Davis(pointing to a car):Yeah, I want that one.

Kari(pointing to another):It's nice but I like that one.

Davis:Oh, good choice

Ken and Yolei were still navigating their way to the airport.

Ken(pointing up ahead):Ok right turn here

Yolei turned the wheel to the right, and once on the street they could see the airport from a distance. It was now a straight away, to the airport, then to the plane, then to California. Yolei had'nt told everyone yet but they were going to Colorado. They were to land in California then wait for her car to arrive, then they'd be on their way. For now though, they had to catch the plane. When Yolei neared the airport she parked the car, got their luggage out, and some guy drove the car to a hanger where it would be shipped to California. Everyone tried to make it inside as soon as possible, once inside the airport everyone put their luggage on a rack, and it was taken to customs. Yolei and the group approached the front desk.

Yolei:Yes I have a booked flight for Inoue.

Woman:Yes I have you right here

The woman reached behind the desk and pulled some booklets out.

Woman:Here are your passports, and your forms.

Yolei:Thanks, Uh when are we bording?

Woman:Uh now

Yolei:Oh God! Guys hurry up we have to go.

Everyone gathered theirselves and followed Yolei. Once inside the plane everyone took their seats, TK, Ken, and Yolei on one side of the aisle, then some little kid, Davis, and Kari.

Attendant:Ok ladies and gentleman, you may experiance some turbulance as we take off. In the event of a crash...........

She kept talking about how to use the life preservers, and whatnot. They were about to take off, but Kari was having some problems.

Davis:What's wrong?

Kari:I'm scarred of planes.

Davis:Don't worry it'll be ok, remember I'm right here beside you. I won't let anything happen to you, Ok?

Kari:Ok

As the plane took off the turbulance was near unbareable for Kari, she instantly grabbed Davis, with her arms around his stomach, she held on tight and pulled herself closer. He put his arms around her and consoled her by saying stuff like.

Davis:It's ok it's almost over.

The plane began to get higher and higher until it was soaring in the air.

Davis:And see, we're in the air now.

Kari loosend her grip but kept her arms around him. He rubbed her back and stroked her hair and soon she was asleep. Across the aisle Yolei was franticly worried about her luggage, and her car.

Yolei:What..What if they loose our clothes and, and, and my car wha what if the ship sinks, will my insurance cover that, you know ship sinkage? What would I-.

Ken put his finger under her chin and turned her head towards his. Then out of the blue kissed her.

Ken:Don't worry about it.

Yolei:uh...well...I

Ken:Yeah, I know.

TK felt left out, everyone around him was deeply in love. and he was all alone, with no one to hold. No one to comfort, he turned his head and stared out the window of the plane.
