The tree house in Mike's garden was big enough for around ten people to hang around in… you would wonder why a sixteen year old would play in a tree house, a little pathetic, huh? Well maybe not when you have four real digimon to hide it isn't really that sad. The redhead had finally climbed up the rope ladder.
"About time, Mike." The purple haired Transylvanian, Tanis told him. He only made a funny face at her. Jake was sitting beside the four digimon, the brown haired boy had his digimon; Terriermon on his lap and beside Tanis sat Lee the leader of the group. "So how did it take you so long to get up here?"

"Got caught on mom patrol last night." Mike told them. Tanis nodded and Lee sniggered.

"Again…" He trailed off. Meliamon ran over on his four legs beside Mike. Meliamon is like a Small Lynxmon with larger flames. Meliamon comes up to Mike's thighs though. He was the biggest of all the digimon in the tree house. Terriermon, Piramon, Gazimon were the other digimon there. Piramon being a new species of digimon also - a bat type digimon, a Purple bat with longer wings in black, they are rimmed in purple and has long white fangs and short frizzy purple hair around her bat face. Piramon was hanging upside down from the ceiling. "Well we have school to go to." Lee got up. So did Tanis but she didn't start on the ladder until Jake and Mike had gone.

"I wish we never." Tanis added before fixing her glasses - why she was wearing them was unknown, she really only needed them for reading.

Jake had started to wheel along to school slowly and a little bored - he was used to going fast on his skateboard.

"Now don't any of you come out of that tree house." Mike told the digimon.

"Like we ever would." Gazimon replied sarcastically. Lee rolled his eyes and carried on walking as Tanis was already doing. Mike hopped on his bike and followed their lead after shutting his gate. Jake turned to Tanis.

"What do you think about English, I can't believe we had to take it again. We're stuck with Miss Gillassi again this year." Tanis told him.

"Now that is so wrong, dude." Jake replied in his cool vocabulary. Mike shook his head cycling past him. "Come on, dude, now that is so not fair."

"Catch me if you can." Mike yelled.

"Let me take you up on that offer." Jake replied before skating faster ahead of where he was. Tanis and Lee where the only people left on that street.

"…" They never spoke, there was an eerie silence.
The student register was getting ticked off quickly.

"Mokena Lee."

"Here." Replied Lee from Miss Gillassi.

"Nicaloi Taichi."

"Here."

"Okana Jacob."

"Unfortunately here." Whispering the unfortunately Jake replied.

"Ocala Celina…. Not here then." She displayed a circle near the girls name.

"Rerusei Lealandra."

"Present."

"Smith Mike."

"Here."
"And Tachibana Tanis." She got to the end of the list naming the group with their last names now. Tanis was sitting beside Mike, Jake was sitting on his own with his skateboard resting on the opposite chair, and Lee was sitting beside Lealandra. She has blonde hair down her back and light blue eyes. "Right class today we are studying what you will be expected to know for the writing of play scripts today.

"Oh… joy." Jake thought.
"This will be good." Tanis replied as she loved writing plays. Lee and Mike kept silent as the class went on… At lunch the group sat in the computer base talking about the digiworld and how they will be visiting it tomorrow morning with tomorrow being the beginning of the weekend. They had studied Mathematics after lunch then they started to walk home to Mike's.

Jake was skating as always, that was the way he went and that was the way he was coming home from school. Mike was walking but pushing along his bike to actually talk to Tanis and Lee.

"Well that was wicked… boring." Tanis trailed off a little sarcastically.
"Tell me about it. Like we never had any better to do than listen to a teacher who couldn't get a date teach about play writing." Jake added.

"Then have a cranky so and so teach Maths." Lee then furthered on what Jake was saying. "Lucky that you took Drama, Jake."

"It's a skieve. You don't do anything that's why I took it rather than Maths." Jake added skating onto the road when it was clear.

"Wish I knew that." Tanis said.

"Well you did but you decided to take Maths." Mike replied. She nodded her head. "Well what are you up to tonight?"

"I've got to help Mao with her project." Tanis told about her sister.

"Skate Park." Jake said his part.

"I've got to help the new family settle in." Lee replied. "Both me and Toya." The empty house next door had just been bought and they had heard that it was a large family so their parents said they would help.

"Oh yeah." Mike remembered. "Well I need to keep Meliamon secret tonight after all, Sally wants to come up to the tree house."

The bat digimon then settled itself on Tanis's shoulder.

"What did we tell you?" Tanis asked Piramon.

"But Tanis there has been an opening to the digiworld in the tree house!!" Piramon said out of breath. They all looked at each other before running/skating on to Mike's garden to the tree house. They climbed up to see that Piramon was right. "Gazimon went in to see where it leads. He hasn't come out yet."

"This could be bad." Jake replied.

"Yeah." Tanis added.

"Jake, what if it doesn't close?" Terriermon asked.
"Well we'll have to go into the digiworld and see why it won't close. Even if it takes all night to close it." Lee added being the leader and decision maker.

"What he said." Jake said to his partner when Gazimon scurried out of the portal.

"It leads to the primary village so it isn't that bad… it won't close though." Gazimon told them. The Primary Village is the Digimon Nursery.

"Right, so you think it will be okay until tomorrow?" Lee asked. Gazimon nodded. "Right."

"Well that's that." Mike replied to everyone nodding.

"There goes our day off tomorrow." Tanis said in a huff. "I was looking forward to relaxing in the forest."

"Vacation will have to wait. Anyway I need to go now." Lee added looking at his watch.

"Right, see ya." Jake said before he skated off with Terriermon holding on to his legs while standing on the end of the board.
"Bye Mike." Tanis said as she walked off with Piramon flying above her. Lee then nodded and left.

"See you all tomorrow." Mike replied before sitting down in the corner of the tree house.

-LEE'S STREET-

The three moving vans came to a halt. It must have been a large family. The actually family van opened to two small boys running out and up to the house. "Don't run boys." The woman who had just entered said. She had another child in her arms. He seemed about nine years old. Then a man came out of the car before another girl came out of the car - she seemed about fifteen/sixteen. She smiled before turning back on the van.

"Come on Lily, Jessie. We're here, I know you didn't want to come but we're here now and there is no turning back." She said when twins of nine walked out. There were eight of them, six children and two adults. The twins walked beside their big sister who had just locked the car door.

"Hey." Lee's younger sister Toya said to her. The girl smiled and walked over to them. Lee smiled back.

"Hi there." She said.

"I'm Toya. Are they really all of your family." Toya asked. The girl nodded along with her sisters.

"Eight in total, they can be quite the drag but you learn to love them, honestly." One of the twins said smugly - quite mature for her age. She got a nudge from the older one.

"Lilianna!" She said.

"It's true though." The other twin replied.

"Jessica!" The sister said. She turned to them. "Anyway, I'm Debbie Cochrane. These are Lilianna and Jessica. Or brothers are Shane and Jason - the younger one is Larry." Debbie replied.

"It's nice to meet you." Lee said. "I guess you will need the help."

"It's very nice of you to do this for us." Lilianna replied.

"Very nice." Jessica added. "And if anything goes wrong we assume that you will be punished."

"Jessica." Debbie said.

"Sorry." She replied.

"It doesn't matter." Lee said noticing how his younger sister was sniggering. He went in and helped them unpack. As usual Debbie never got her own room and had to share. This time it was worse though - she had to share with Lilanna and Jessica.
