DIGITAL CHASERS
Davis looked out his window. It was a beautiful day, but he was stuck inside. He looked in drawer next to his bed and found his journal. He took out a pen and started to write.
November 17,
Dear journal, I can't believe I got grounded. I save the world from MaloMyotismon and my parents still don't cut me some slack, I mean come on, how unfair can you get? How was I suppose to know that Grandma's teeth were in the bag. Well anyway, I wonder when the digiport will open again. Wait, OH NO! I have to go to Grandma's house! Well bye.
Davis shut his journal and walked downstairs. "I'm ready to go mom."
"Okay hon" she replied. Davis grabbed his backpack which had demiveemon in it and climbed in the car.
TK's house
T.K checked his E-mail and saw he had one from Davis. After the M.M. fiasco they had become friends, best friends in fact. They decided that whoever Kari chose, the other would not hold a grudge. He opened the E-mail and read:
T.S
How's the world treating you? My summer sucks. I'm staying at Grandma's for the week and there is no T.V to watch, I'm in jail! Good thing I brought my laptop and Demiveemon. I can't believe this, and to top it all, I'm grounded for 2 months! Demiveemon wants to send a message to Yatomon so make sure she's here.
T.K laughed. Yatomon was a little digimon who had stayed with him after M.M. was destroyed. She looked at Demiveemon as some kind of father. "Yatomon, Demiveemon has something to tell you."
Yatomon came up to T.K and sat in his lap. "Okay" she replied. T.K and Yatomon read the rest of the E-mail.
Okay, Yatomon, Demiveemon wants you to understand that you're entering a stage in life where you will be checking out guys. So, he says hey kiddo and to stay away from fast-talking guys. Well T.S, I have to go. Write back soon.
Davis
T.K and Yatomon burst out laughing. "Bye T.K I'm gonna go check out guys!" Yatomon said while chocking with laughter.
"OK, just stay away from fast-talking guys!" he replied while breathing heavily from all that laughing. Patamon, who had just woken up from the laughter screamed.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!"

Davis's house, one week later
Davis looked at his watch. 'Today is the first day of school. I'm gonna ask Kari out' he thought.
He got his backpack and left. When he got there he noticed that he was 30 minutes early." Must be the excitement" he said. He played soccer to kill time.
Then the bell rang."Shit!" he said. He was late!
After first period he went to look for Kari. He then found her kissing another guy. He noticed T.K in the other hallway, looking at Kari as well, his eyes as round as potatoes.
With his heart broken, Davis ran to second period without a backwards glance.
