Chapter 9: Davis & Omicron
(Catherine sits in the Motomiya home with her and Davis's 6 year old daughter Seii)
Seii: Mom, when's dad going to be home?
Catherine: Soon
(Outside)
Omicron-Davis: I hope I went to the right place
Davis: (following behind)
Veemon: Hey, Davis, who is that?
Davis: Looks like... me
Veemon: But if he's you, then who are you?
Davis: I am me
Veemon: But you can't be you, because he's you, and if you're you then he can't be you, and you can't be you if he's you
Davis: That makes sense
Veemon: So he most be someone that looks like you
Davis: Walking with a Veemon?
Veemon: Then he must be you
Davis: There can't be two of me, unless he's Omicron
Omicron-Davis: (Turns around and sees him) Davis
Davis: Omicron, isn't it?
Omicron-Davis: I'm surprised you remember me
Davis: How could I forget somebody so evil?
Omicron-Davis: Oh, so now you insult yourself?
Davis: You're nothing like me
Omicron-Davis: I am you!
Davis: You are a fool
Omicron-Davis: I will take your place and destroy your group from the inside
Davis: Why?
Omicron-Davis: Revenge, of course
Davis: Revenge? For what?
Omicron-Davis: You destroyed our ruler, killed Omega, and made it so we no longer ruled
Davis: And you want revenge for which one?
Omicron-Davis: All of them (draw your sword from nowhere)
Davis: No way!
Omicron-Davis: I'll kill you (charge at Davis)
Davis: Bad idea (Moves to the side tripping Omicron-Davis, causing him to drop his sword, you grab it) Did you forget how quick you can be?
Omicron-Davis: There's no way you can be that fast
Davis: All those years playing soccer, I also learned this one (kick Omicron-Davis in the head knocking him out)
Veemon: I got my double too
Davis: Great, let's go home and get something to tie them up
Veemon: Right
(They head toward the house. In the house the phone rings and Catherine picks it up)
Catherine: Hello?
Casey: Catherine, good I need you to come here with Seii immediately
Catherine: What about Davis?
Casey: He may not be Davis
Catherine: Casey, I don't understand
Davis: (walking in door) Did you say Casey?
Catherine: Davis, um yes
Davis: Let me talk to him
Catherine: (hands him the phone) Here you go
Davis: Casey
Casey: Davis, or is it Omicron?
Davis: Sorry, Omicron's unconscious outside right now, you'll have to talk to the real me for now
Casey: Good, tie him up and bring him here
Davis: Will do (hangs up the phone) I need some rope and you two need to get ready to head to the mansion
Seii: Does that mean I can bring Gazimon?
Davis: Yeah (grabs some robe and goes and ties up Omicron-Davis and Alternate Veemon)
Seii: Ready
Catherine: How we going to get there?
Davis: Digi-armor energize!
Veemon: Veemon armor digevolve to...
Raidramon: Raidramon, the Storm of Friendship
Davis: Get on (they do and he puts his cargo on and the ride toward the mansion)
Chapter 10: The youngest of the children
(Cody and Noriko, one of the dark spore children, married four years ago, and now have a three year old son, Jinchi. They all sit watching TV. The form of Beta walks up to the apartment. The phone rings)
Cody: Hello?
Casey: Cody, look the councils here, and they got some new members, we need to get you all here immediately
Cody: We'll be there (hang up phone) we need to get to the mansion
Noriko: Okay, how do we do that?
Cody: (looks at Armodillomon) I doubt Armodillomon would do any good
Noriko: How about Gazimon?
Cody: Works with me (they go outside where the are confronted by Beta)
Beta: Greetings, Cody
Cody: Who are you?
Beta: Call me Beta
Cody: A council member?
Beta: Yes (draws sword) Now prepare to fight me
Cody: Run! (They run to the outside)
Noriko: Gazimon, now!
Gazimon: Gazimon digevolve to...
Cyclonemon: Cyclonemon
Cody: Everybody on
Jinchi: (Drop Tapirmon) Tapirmon!
Cody: I'll get him (Jump off to get him)
Beta: There you are (strike at Cody)
Cody: (Dodge to the side) At least give me a weapon to fight with
Beta: (Toss a sword down so it sticks into the ground) There you are
Cody: (Pull the sword out) Jinchi, Noriko, go ahead, I'll catch up
Noriko: You heard him Cyclonemon (they ride off)
Cody: Who are you, really?
Beta: You worst nightmare (swing at Cody)
Cody: (Block the slash) All considering, I don't think that's possible (Knock Beta down, knocking his hood off his, he's you) What?
Beta-Cody: Surprise! (Their swords clash as they fight)
Cody: I thought you were dead
Beta-Cody: I was, I'm a clone
Cody: But I was good
Beta-Cody: That was until they put the dark spore into me
Cody: More dark spores? Who else has one?
Beta-Cody: Doesn't matter. I'm taking your place
Cody: I don't think so (Cut Beta-Cody's arm with a precision swing) I've learned too much over the time
Beta-Cody: I'm not defeated, I'll be back (Runs off)
Cody: Armodillomon
Armodillomon: Yeah?
Cody: Let's get to Casey's
Armodillomon: Armodillomon digevolve to...
Ankylomon: Ankylomon
Cody: (get on Ankylomon, holding Tapirmon and the sword) Let's go!
(They head toward the mansion)
