Chapter 23: The Council's New Plan
(The entire council is sitting in a secluded section of the park)
Iota-Mimi: Great, our original plan won't work, do we have a plan B?
Delta-Ken: We can start by putting these toys of ours over the city, by activating them, they will lose all digevolution
Rho: Are we sure this will stop their digevolving?
Delta-Ken: Of course
Phi: Then why don't you go ahead and put them up, and then we'll attack them at full strength?
Omicron-Davis: One thing the devices do is take all digimon back to there rookie, or sometimes champion forms, so we'd be right back where we started
Delta-Ken: However, once the devices are up, those of us with the model B digevices will be able to digevolve to champion, maybe ultimate
Psi: While they're stuck with nothing but rookies, and maybe a champion or two
Delta-Ken: Correct
Kappa-Sora: Well, let's get started putting them up
Tau: Yes, we'll all put them up
Zeta-Tai: Yes, the job will go faster that way
Theta-TK: Let's keep in pairings, it'll work better that way
Epsilon-Kari: Yes, our doubles may be out looking for us, we'll be able to protect ourselves better in pairs
Beta-Cody: Good, can we just start this already then?

Sigma-Joe: Me too
Delta-Ken: Fine
(They divide up the devices among them, and go off in pairs to place them)

(In the living room of the Meris Mansion, the adult digi-destined sit)
Willis: So, any clues what other surprises the council may have?
Ken: Well, considering that they have a version of the dark spore, I'd be expecting something along the way of the control spires
Yolie: So, we may need our digi-eggs then?
Ken: Correct
Adam: Oh, I remember finding them, we found them when we were hiding in the Digital World
Jeremiah: Yeah, we'll be ready if we need to armor digevolve
Casey: Good, two more armor digimon will be a help
Ken: Actually, three Casey, I found my digi-egg on a family picnic
Casey: Only you Ken
Yolie: Hey, a picnic in the Digiworld was my idea

Yolie: Oh
Michael: Any other surprises?
Casey: Yeah, be prepared to have to fight yourself

Casey: They could've found or cloned your doubles for their army very easily
