Part 14: Final Plans

Chapter 27: Plans for war
(The council has reconvened once again)
Dark Lord: We're all here, so tell me good news
Epsilon-Kari: We destroyed several members of the resistance along with their base
Dark Lord: Excellent! What did you do with the members you didn't destroy?
Theta-TK: They sort of got away
Dark Lord: What?! You let members of the resistance get away?
Theta-TK & Epsilon-Kari: Yes
Dark Lord: How many of them, and who are they?
Theta-TK: 5 altogether, sir
Epsilon-Kari: The Cody, Davis, and Ken from the other world, also Adam and Jeremiah Mericolas
Dark Lord: Omega's cousins could cause a problem (turn to Gamma-Matt) Gamma, your turn
Gamma-Matt: The plan went well until I decided to try an attack them
Dark Lord: Go on
Gamma-Matt: Omega forced me to leave, and commanded that I tell him where their Matt was
Dark Lord: Omega's turned against us, and for that I shall destroy him myself
Zeta-Tai: What do you mean by that?
Dark Lord: We shall start a war that they cannot win!
Omicron-Davis: Let us prepare for the war
Delta-Ken: Yes, we shall
Dark Lord: Little preparations are needed, arm yourselves, make sure your digimon are feed, and sleep well. Tomorrow we strike!
Chapter 28: Camping out
(The digi-destined are at the remains of Omega's tower and it's now getting dark, a bonfire sits in an open area, the digi-destined sit around it)
Time Keeper: We need to get some sleep
Tai: Good idea, but it's not getting any warmer man
Ken: Tai's right, if we don't find away to keep warm we'll freeze
Yolie: (Pressing against Ken for warmth) Isn't there anything you can do?
Time Keeper: (Thinks for a few minutes)
TK: (Kari pressing against you) Hey, Casey!
Time Keeper: Yeah?
TK: Do you have any more toys from our first adventure?
Kari: That's it, your tents; those things would keep us warm
Time Keeper: Of course, I forgot about those (Reach into a pocket and pull out several little cubes with buttons on them and place them on the ground, pushing each button as you do)
TK: There's only 7 of them Casey, that would be a bit of bad planning
Time Keeper: Maybe, maybe not (Looks at the tents and points to two larger ones) Those two tents are double tents
TK & Ken: Dibs!
Time Keeper: (Tries not to laugh) Ok, you each got one
TK: That works
Ken: Right
Time Keeper: (point to a third tent) This one's also a double tent, who wants it?
Adam: We'll take it
Jeremiah: We use to go camping all the time
Time Keeper: Ok, everybody get some sleep
(They go into their tents; Ken and Yolie share one tent. TK and Kari share another, and of Adam and Jeremiah share the third one)
Gatomon: Time Keeper, we have a problem
Time Keeper: Yes Gatomon?
Patamon: It's cold and we don't have any shelter
Time Keeper: I'm sorry (Pull another cube out)
Arisomon: I thought you said that's all you had
Time Keeper: This one's special, it's lower to the ground, but it's wider and longer (Hit the button)
Noahmon: No human could get in there
Wormmon: That's the point; it's made for smaller digimon
Veemon: Why would he do that?
Wormmon: Maybe because he's around us a lot
Time Keeper: Come on, get into the tent, and get some sleep (The digimon enter the tent. Time Keeper stands alone outside, the cold not bothering him) Tomorrow the battle will begin
