Part 17: All’s well, or is it?

Chapter 33: The return home
(The digi-destined stand around Time Keeper, the council has left. Adam and Jeremiah join them, all the digimon with them)
Kari: How do we get home anyway?
Time Keeper: Dimensional Gateway Open! (A portal opens)
Adam: We're going to go through there?
Jeremiah: I'm not sure of this
Time Keeper: (Exhaustedly) You don't have to go if you don't want to
Adam: No we're going
Davis: Catherine's never going to believe this
Ken: That's if you ever learn enough French to tell it to her
Time Keeper: (Thinking) Mental note: Introduce Davis to the universal translator
TK: Is everyone ready

Chapter 34: Meris Mansion
(The digi-destined couples stand around Cyborg who sits in a chair, to weak to disguise himself. Adam and Jeremiah wait in the back of the room)
Cyborg: I need to take blood from each of you, this is only necessary because the rings may not have adapted like they were suppose to (Take off their rings, and then dedigevolve to Hybrid)
Mimi: Casey
Hybrid: At least I can't dedigevolve any further (Weak laugh)
Mimi: What happened in that other world?
Kari: The head of the council used the reverse digevolve attack and it hurt him
Mimi: What else?
Adam: Their doubles were council members, the digimon were forced to fight until they lost too much energy and dedigevolved, and Casey made it impossible for them to digevolve
(Kari and Yolie look at each other weirdly)

Yolie: Huh, yeah
Hybrid: I'll take those blood samples now (Take the samples and run them through the machine) The results will be in tomorrow, go home and get rest
Adam: What about us?
Hybrid: You two can stay with me, the sixth floor rooms should be good for you, pick two, they're unlocked
(Adam and Jeremiah leave with their digimon, the others follow, Kari, Yolie go to leave last. Mimi stays with Hybrid)
Yolie: What was that all about?
Kari: No clue, by the way thank you brother for the fair fight
Hybrid: Huh? (Go to follow them but fall down and scream in pain)
Mimi: Casey!
(A strange light goes over Hybrid and then by some mystery he is human again)
Casey: Mimi?
Mimi: What happened?
Casey: (Still lying on the ground, slip off your suit and the bio-suit beneath it) I'm human again
Mimi: Can you...
Casey: No, and I could never build another one of those suits, the knowledge is gone (point to a closet) There's a wheelchair in there, get it
Mimi: (Get the chair, bring it to him, and help him in) Now what?
Casey: I have a choice
Mimi: And that is?
Casey: I can live the rest of my life in one two ways

Casey: In this chair as a human, or as that creature

(The next morning Casey wheels himself into the lab were the suit lies on the ground, Mimi stands behind him)

Casey: (Take your shirt off and put the suit on, place your shirt back on) Activate! (Scream as your being remerged with your digimon half, appear as Hybrid again, go to get up and fall down)
Mimi: Casey!
Hybrid: Apparently I'm still weak, get me a cane out of that closet
Mimi: (Get him a black cane and help him up) Better?
Hybrid: Much (walk over to the computer)
Computer: Analysis complete, printing results
Hybrid: (Pick up the results and read them) I should've known
