Okay, here I am again and this time with a translation of a native english speaker (love ya for this, Rose-sama!^^*hugs*) and if somebody wants to complain, I assure him I will… *looks devilish*

I always wanted to write a Dejimon Saga with Taito-ish content and with this fanfiction I tried myself to realize this idea!^^

Right from the start I can already say, it'll be a very long story till all my ideas in my head had become reality*g*

This story will include TAITO/YAMACHI, so if you don't like it, don't read it and move your intolerance out of my sight!

Part 0 - Prologue

Prologue:

Have you ever noticed that strange things always happen when you least expect them?

I mean, when I drove to that summer camp back then, about 5 years ago, I didn't have the smallest inkling that some weird light (I still ask myself, what that was) would beam me into the DigiWorld, after about 5 inches of snow had fallen.

I was selected to become a DigiDestined, to say that in my native language, an "Erabareta Kodomo", which means as much as "Chosen Child", and met, along with all kinds of other things in my adventures, a person who was to change my entire life.

That was the 08/01/1999.

That memorable is today, the first of August, but now we're in the year 2004.

Not much has changed since then, we've gotten 4 new (ok, now they're more like the "old" ones now, so I guess you could call them the old new ones) Erabareta Kodomo, who now go to the middle school Odaiba Jr. High.

Oh, but before I begin to babble to much, I should maybe introduce myself first *officialclearingofthroat*:

My name is Yagami Taichi, a lot of you might still - hopefully - remember me, I just turned 16 a couple of weeks ago and my trademarks are my windblown hairstyle and my goggles. I love playing soccer to death and my second favorite pasttime besides that is eating....but I see I'm starting to ramble again (that's supposed to be another of my bad habits).

Ok, after you know who you're dealing with here, or at least who the guy is who's telling you all this, I'll introduce you to the rest of the Erabareta Kodomo, so you won't have any problems understanding me later on.

Let's begin with the youngest in the group, which would be Motomiya Daisuke, our "Goggleboy Nr. 2" is 13 years old now and it seems that he's finally getting the idea, that there are other things than soccer. His best friend Ichijouji Ken for instance.

He's as old as Dai-kun by the way, a real super genious, very sensitive and 1000x more sensible than Daisuke-kun.

Oh well, maybe I shouldn't talk about Motomiya like that, he isn't dumb after all, even if it seems that way sometimes (don't take it personally Dai-kun!!)....und besides, people like to compare him to me^^"

Next would probably be Inoue Miyako, in terms the superbrain of the new children, she could be a crossbreeding of Koushirou-kun and Mimi-chan.

The computer-ace in training (I'm beginning to honestly believe that only Kou-kun still beats her) is so girly and freaky, in a way that only Mimi-chan could normally be. (Maybe it's contagious^^')

Her hyperness can get on people's nerves pretty quickly, not in a small way owing to the fact that she's gotten used to sticking "Bingo" into everything and every word she utters.

I don't usually have that much to do with her, but I think she's really ok.

So, did I miss anybody?

Oh yea, now I would've almost forgotten Hida Iori, the smallest and youngest of our group (and in exception of Jou-kun problably the most reasonable).

He's 11 years old now, the Chibi (I know, you're not a dwarf^^'), and still holds to his passion Kendo, but other than that I haven't heard much about him.

Hai.....I'm sorry to say that our team has pretty much been going their own ways, our regular contact has suffered, not only in the least because of school.

I know from Jou-kun that he's planning to study medicine again and is studying even more (if that's even possible) and sitting over his books.

He's supposed to go to America after he makes his degree, to expand his knowledge even more.

(If Jou-kun were here now, I would make fun of him by saying that he's only going after Mimi-chan *g*)

That would bring me to our little 'princess' (which she no longer is), Tachikawa Mimi. I can't tell much about her, I only know that she should be visiting High School (or Middle School, I don't really know how the American school system works^^'), building up a career with her voice and, well.....I hope to see Mimi-chan again sometime, the last time we met was a while back.

I have this information from Izumi Koushirou by the way, who is still one of my best friends, we even meet pretty often to get together and do something.

Try to imagine this; he's even managed to get away from his PC for a while!

Don't ask me who caused this miracle, but 'it' probably has blond hair, blue-grey eyes and goes by the name of Hitomi.

Oh, gomen nasai, Kou-kun, after all, I was supposed to keep that to myself^^"

Hmmmm....*embarassedclearingofthroat* *sweatdrop*, I'd best continue....

Let's go on to Sora-chan..... no, that's a mistake, we are not going out, even if it might seem that way for a lot of you.

It's true that we're closer friends than a lot of others, but nothing is going on between us, we mutually cleared that aspect.

Our DigiDestined of love is a Sophomore, like me, and has decided to become the first woman in Nippon to play on the Japanese national soccer team.

Personally, I think she should leave soccer to us men, but my narrowminded intolerance (like she calls it) didn't exactly bear any fruits. And what a woman sets her mind on....

(We've even made a bet, by the way, who will be the first one to play in the world championship..... I really have to win, I really don't want to lose my cool hairstyle)

Other than that, Takenouchi is just like every other 16-year-old girl, puts on make-up, tries to be "lady-like", is slowly trading her Shôjo-Mangas in for some kind of jewelry-accessoires, and giggles foolishly when someone dares to talk to her while her friends are there.....

What? You mean, I should finally get to the point and stuff all this rambling somewhere else?

Tztz, please, I mean, no story starts without a good introduction!

Well, let's come to Takaishi Takeru, our Ex-Crybaby of the team, who's developed into THE most popular heartbreaker of middle school.

Takeru-kun still lives with his mother and it seems like it will still take a couple of years before he and Hikari *finally* discover, that the other one does not not want to have anything to do with the other.

T.K. is passionate basketball player and it's probably because of that that he's the "object of general desire", not only for Hikari.

Which would already bring us to one of the two people who mean the most to me of all the Erabareta Kodomo.

Kari-chan has become a lot more open (and sassy!!) over the last 2 years. When I sometimes think back on old times, I barely even recognize her.

Takeru seems to be good for her und since everything's peaceful in the DigiWorld too, like never before, Hikari has become very happy and only worries about Takaishi flirting with other girls....^_~

Now we've come, ' last but not least', to the person who threw my world and the picture I had of it, completely upside down.

He was one of the first who questioned my authority and really had something to say against *every* one of my proposals.

Ishida Yamato, at first one of the people that I could stand the least of the Erabareta Kodomo (who wants to be criticized the *whole* time) and who has now become one of most important people in my entire life.

I don't want to say that something has changed between us over the years. Of course our thick rope of friendship is tighter than ever before, a fact over which I am very happy and still..... there are moments (to my vehemenent dissaproval ever more often), in which I want more from Yama-kun than just friendship.....

That sounds absurd, I know that as well as you do, but you can't really ignore the heartbeat and the hot cheeks very well when you talk to Matt.

This has been going on for a good 4 months now and a suspicion has been slowly dawning on me, that these reactions of mine to Yamato aren't going to disappear as quickly as I had hoped, at least not in the near future.

Well, howtactlessofme,thatreallywould'tinterestyouintheleast,whata16yearoldboyinp ubertyfeelsforhisbestfriend, then I'll just tell you what Yamato is doing right now.

For all of those who fear that Yama-kun has given up his band and his music, I can assure and comfort you; he still has his harmonica and his 'Wolves'.

By the way, they are on their way into the charts at the moment and it's just a question of time until they'll *finally* be discovered.

Besides that, Matt doesn't really do that much, he's had his hair cut a little bit shorter and I have to admit, it looks almost even better than before. (But don't tell him I said that!)

When Yamato isn't making some parties unsafe with me, he's writing some kind of lyrics, practicing with the Teen-Age Wolves or letting out his frustration over the diverse fangirlies.

Hmmm...well, I think I'm pretty much finished....wait, let me count...*mumble* *think*

...

Hai! Ok, with that I think I've covered all the Erabareta Kodomo, and, as you can see, we all have a pretty normal life, like everyone else, ok, you still have to count on having to save the world every 2 years, but now I'm starting to go on again.

I'd just like to leave you with this small sentence until Part 1...:
