Sora just looked ahead as she walked. Tears streaming down her deathly pale face as she struggled to get her lips to stop trembling. Her eyes were red and puffy and bloodshot. Her hand were clenched at her side and turning white. Her body was stiff as she walked. She tightened her legs so much, that she thought that they were going to lock in place and she was going to trip and fall. Her back was straight and not in the slouched position that it was usual in when she sat down. Her chest heaved up and down in a frantic try to breath properly. The people that she passed by sometimes gave her looks. Those looks usually came from men. But for the women, they gave her sympathy looks. They understood if they followed their female intuition.
Somebody probably just broke her heart. How sad.
Heaven bend to take my hand
And lead me through the fire
Be the long awaited answer
To a long and painful fight
And lead me through the fire
Be the long awaited answer
To a long and painful fight
But Sora ignored all this. She ignored the disgusting and revaluating looks. She ignored all the sympathetic looks. She completely blocked all person that were in the world. She blocked out the sounds, the cold December temperature, the settings, all of it. She was blinded by rage. Nobody was in her mind.
Except one person. The only one she could come to if she needed to. The one who understood her.
Tai.
But she stopped only just a few feet before his house. Would he lie to her like Matt did? Would he hurt her too? Would he tell her that she was beautiful like he had always done? Did her ever even tell her the truth? Would he be like Matt?
Truth be told I've tried my best
But somewhere along the way
I got caught up in all there was to offer
And the cost was so much more than I could bear
But somewhere along the way
I got caught up in all there was to offer
And the cost was so much more than I could bear
The first thing she did to rid herself of those thoughts was shake her head. He would never do something like that to her. The second thing she did was clench her head with her hands. Why would she think of something like this?
'I'm just being paranoid again.'
She formed her hands in fist again and took her first step to her savior's front door. She took a moment to breathe deep and relax. She was just seeing an old friend right? Right. Nothing to worry about. She'd survive. Tai had made sure of that every time she saw him. She always came out of this house feeling happy-go-lucky. She put on her best smile and unlocked the door with her spare key and knocked and then entered.
However, as she walked in, everything seemed to go in slow motion.
Though I've tried, I've fallen...
I have sunk so low
I messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here
And tell me I told you so...
I have sunk so low
I messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here
And tell me I told you so...
Tai was there, as always, but something was different. He was with another girl. On the couch. In an intimate position. She felt the tears prickling her eyes once again. All those times, had he been lying to her when he said all those "I love you's?" Had he?
Tai looked up from his position of his...guest chest and looked at the newcomer.
There was Sora. All in her glory.
Plain black corset, tight leather pants, and high-heels. Her black make-up running down her face, with tears following. She looked like a mess.
We all begin with good intent
Love was raw and young
We believed that we could change ourselves
THe past could be undone
But we carry on our backs the burden
Time always reveals
In the lonely light of morning
In the wound that would not heal
It's the bitter taste of losing everything
That I've held so dear.

"Sora..." She ran out the door. It was when she turned did he realize the dark black and blue bruise on her left cheek. "Oh my god, SORA!" He ignored his guest that was on his couch and chased after Sora. What happened to her? Why was her cheek bruised? 'If Matt hit her I'm going to kill him!' His eyes seethed with anger as he chased her down.

Sora couldn't believe her mind or eyes. Had she done something in the past to deserve this torture on her heart? She was so sorry if she did. Had everything in her life been a lie? Yes. Had nobody ever loved her enough to show it all the way through? Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. YES! Tai was the only one who showed it more then Matt. He was always there for her. She owed him a great deal. She didn't know what to do anymore. She's tried everything in the book. From running away to a suicide attempt. Tai was there for her the whole way. She slowed to a mere power walk and soon laid against a tree. Then, there was a shadowy figure in front of her.

"Go away." She asked with her head bent.
"No." Noticing that he was very stubborn, and she really didn't want to fight with her best friend, she walked toward him and looked him in the eye.
"Why then?" She asked as she squinted her eyes to stop the burn.
Heaven bend to take my hand
Nowhere left to turn
I'm lost to those I thought were friends
To everyone I know
Oh they turn their heads embarrassed
Pretend that they don't see
But it's one missed step
One slip before you know it
And there doesn't seem a way to be redeemed

He didn't answer. A few more minutes went by and he still didn't answer. Not bothering to hold them in any longer, Sora cried with all the tears she had. Tai immediately went forward to give her a hug and tell her that everything was going to be okay, but Sora just pushed him away... hard.
Tai reeled back with shock. Sora never reacted like that. Tai smiled and wrapped her in his arms anyway. He ignored the harsh words and punches she hit him with. He ignored the hard punch to the gut and just kissed her head and whispered soothing words. Soon, the sobs subsided as with her strength. He kissed her head again and listened to her ramble.
"How could I? How could I believe anybody?" She just didn't know what to do anymore. She was all alone. But she still had those two people who "care" about her that she could think about.
Besides, they both gave her b e a u t i f u l lies for her to survive on.

The ending was rushed. This whole story is stupid. R&R.
