Hearts of the Star 1 The Digital Spirits
"For whoever should find this message in the future, I have something that I must share with you. The Ten Legendary Warriors were not the only ones of their kind. I am the creator of these Digital Spirits, and you must understand why they had to be brought into this world. When I was first brought to the Digital World, it was in pure chaos; it was during the Civil War of the Digital World, Human Spirits versus Beast Spirits, as they were called. I was told that I was brought to the Digital World to bring an end to this chaotic war; and that only I had the power to calm the feuds between all of these creatures. I was young at the time; however, I had been trained in the arts of magic for many years. Somehow, I managed to take the two most powerful of my twelve personalities and use their powers to create two new Digital beings: Lucemon and Saiyawoman. Together, they quelled the fighting between the Digimon, bringing peace to the Digital World once again. Lucemon became the ruler of the Digital World, keeping it at peace for many years with the help of myself, Saiyawoman, and a few Digimon who aligned themselves with us: Unimon, Seraphimon, Ophanimon, Cherubimon, and Nefertimon.
"However, this peace was not to last. Naturally, peace never seems to be eternal, and so, like so many leaders in the human world, Lucemon became corrupt. He turned on us in the moment of our weakest hours while I was almost unable to do anything to stop him. He was my responsibility, and though I had other urgent matters to attend to, I had to stop him. So, I took a stand with Saiyawoman at my side, and I used my remaining ten personalities to create the Digimon now known as the Ten Legendary Warriors, AncientBeetlemon, AncientGarurumon, AncientGreymon, AncientKazemon, AncientMegatheriumon, AncientMermaimon, AncientSphinxmon, AncientTroiamon, AncientVolcamon, and AncientWisemon. Together, these ten warriors, Saiyawomon, Unimon, and I locked away my dear friend, Lucemon. We had no other choice but to seal him within the center of the Digital World. Unimon and Saiyawomon were not fortunate enough to make it through the battle. However, I was able to reincarnate Saiyawomon in a new form, a new Digital Spirit called Enryamon.
"After the battle ended, I placed the Ten Legendary Warriors into the hands of the Celestial Warriors: Seraphimon, Ophanimon, and Cherubimon, to rest and recover. Enryamon I sealed away just like Lucemon, as I warned the Celestial Warriors that should her Human counterpart ever be born into the human world that the Ten Legendary Warriors would have to be called upon once again. Only four of them would be strong enough by that time to act on their own, while the other six would need their own human counterparts to continue the battle. As much as it pains me to admit that humans would once again be called on to protect the Digital World from the horrors that exist from within, that would be the only way to protect the peace. Enryamon was not only a Digital Spirit, she was to be a key to Lucemon's release. Fear not, though, this key is incomplete. There are three peaces to this key: Enryamon, her human counterpart, and data from the digital world that has been hidden, and only I know the location.
"When the time comes, Saiyawomon won't be the only one of my warriors that has become a new Digimon. Each of the warriors I have created has the power to change while remaining under the same element of power that they have always been under. When Lucemon tries to break free, each of my warriors shall evolve. AncientBeetlemon, the warrior of Thunder will become Beetlemon. The warrior of light, AncientGarurumon, shall become Lobomon. AncientGreymon's fire will burn on in Agunimon. AncientKazemon of the wind will be changed to Kazemon. AncientMegatheriumon of the cold ice shall transform into Kumamon. AncientMermaimon of the calm waters shall be Ranamon. AncientSphinxmon of the darkness shall be Loewemon. AncientTroiamon of the woods shall be Arbormon. AncientVolcamon of the earth shall become Grumblemon. And, finally, AncientWisemon of steel shall become Mercurymon.
"Each of the elements is represented in my warriors, without every single one, none of them can exist. Fire, ice, light, darkness, water, thunder, wind, earth, wood, steel, along with Enryamon of the heart, and Lucemon of the Spirit. Together, harmony can exist, but apart and everything will crumble. I leave these warriors in the hands of the future. Just please, remember, these spirits, these creatures are a part of me, and a part of this world, take care of them."
The transmission ended, and a girl looking to be in her twenties with red and blue hair pulled back in a high ponytail turned away from the monitor, pulling a small round device out of the computer for the last time.
"Mom, are you coming, or what?" a girl's voice came from outside.
The woman glanced around the room at the four golden cylinder chambers on the other side of the room.
"Yeah, I'm coming," she called back as she walked towards the door.
She stopped at the door, turned around, and gathered energy into the palm of her hand, thrusting it into the room, causing everything within it to explode as the door closed.
My adventures in the Digital World are over, she thought as she phased through the floor to carry on with her life.
