Hello guys yes I am here with another fic and before I say anything I would like to dedicate this fanfic to two people who have helped me as I started out a baby in fanfiction writing (not literally but you get the drift xD) and helped me understand and write certain characters better than I used to. You guys are probably wondering who the heck I am going on about okay these two people are Lord Pata a very good friend of mine and a regular reviewer as well I might add thank you for the constructive criticism on my fic and helping me understand TK better and also helping me to learn to respect Takari as a couple so a big thanks for that. The second person I would like to thank is Nasha also known as Lady Biyomon on Fanfiction.net she has helped me write certain characters better and I will tell you Ken is not evil! We all make mistakes in life as did he but he did kind of make up for it for saving the digital world by using Imperialdramon. Chapter One

 

It had been three years since the defeat of MaloMyotismon and the Digidestined had all changed in many ways from before. Davis and Kari were now dating as were Ken and Yolei while TK and Mimi's cousin Iris were quite close the truth was TK had a bit of a crush on her but was too scared to let her know. Sora and Matt had broken up when Sora realized her true feelings for Tai, Matt let her go knowing her heart belonged with him. Joe had finally built up the courage to ask Mimi out and the two had been dating for a couple of weeks basically. Today Davis, Kari, TK and Iris were getting ready to go to the library to study for a test they had next week. Kari was running around getting dressed to go and Gatomon was watching her.

 

“Kari are you going to study with Davis and the others? TK is going too right?” Gatomon asked and Kari as she was brushing her hair nodded towards her digimon.

 

“Yeah TK's coming so is Iris I swear those two have a thing for each other if only they would admit it.” Kari said smiling and Gatomon giggled Kari was constantly trying to get TK and Iris together it was almost hilarious.

 

“Um well Kari I was wondering since you guys are going to study at the library could you drop me off with Patamon if he's not going?” Gatomon said softly she loved hanging around with her best friend he always seemed to care so much about her and he was so gentle always thinking of the others before himself.

 

Kari smiled and nodded patting Gatomon's head gently.

“Of course I'm sure TK wont mind and I'm sure Patamon will be glad of the company.” Kari said then they left to meet up with Davis. Kari kissed Davis's cheek as he hugged her. Davis frowned when he saw Gatomon but Kari quickly explained.

 

“We're going to drop her off at TK's she wanted to spend some time with Patamon.” Kari told him and Davis nodded in understanding considering they had to pick TK and Iris up anyway. Davis sighed thinking back to when he and Kari had first gotten together.

 

Flashback

 

It was a month after the battle with MaloMyotismon about the time Iris joined their team. The Digidestined had all gathered together for Cody's surprise birthday party that TK wanted to give him partly because he thought Cody deserved to have a little fun in his life so they all helped TK set it up. After the party Kari had noticed Davis wasn't there.

 

“Where's Davis?” Kari asked TK who shrugged.

 

“I don't know I think I saw him go outside.” TK told her and Kari smiled and gave a soft “thanks” before putting on her jacket and go outside since it was raining and saw Davis sitting there then went to take a seat besides Davis who seemed to be lost in his own thoughts.

 

“Hey there not exactly the weather to enjoy the night?” Kari said looking to Davis a little curious why he would be out here when it was quite nice and warm inside.

 

“Kari…I'm glad you joined me. There's something I've been meaning to tell you but I can't build up the courage to tell you.” Davis admitted and Kari frowned then smiled a little.

 

“So much for being for the Digidestined of Courage.” Kari teased then became serious and put a hand on his before adding “You can tell me anything Davis.” She looked at him her eyes full of sincerity it made Davis's heart beat rapidly and his face turned red. Davis took a deep breath what did he have to lose? He knew the answer Kari's friendship her care for him and a whole lot more. But he had to have courage as Kari had just said he was keeper of Courage.

 

“Kari…we've been through our whole adventure always fighting overcoming every obstacle. I think it's no secret I had a crush on you and I even admit that I was envious of TK for being so close to you but you know as I got to know him better I began to realize why you two were so close I began to understand the meaning of friendship and I began to admire TK in many ways the fact that he would do anything for you also the fact that he cares so much about everyone he would sacrifice himself if it meant helping a friend. And even with you Kari I began to see a different side your so selfless you always think of others before yourself that's why it took you longer to forgive Ken while a part of you wanted a part of you didn't because of all that he had done. And then my crush on you began to fade away…” Davis trailed off and looked at Kari who had gone a shade of pink.

 

“Davis…” Kari began to say but Davis put a finger to her lips.

 

“It was replaced by another feeling. Love.” Davis told her softly. Kari felt the butterflies build up inside her stomach the truth was she had begun to admire Davis a lot more after he had accepted Ken in their team and he always seemed to care a lot for her.

 

“I love you Kari Kamiya. Will you go out with me?” Davis said kissing her on the hand causing her to blush even more. Kari felt her breath get shaky but managed to control herself.

 

“Of course I will.” Kari had whispered and the two had shared an embrace lost in each other's arms.

 

“Davis? Earth to Davis!” Kari cried waving her arms out in front of her boyfriend while Gatomon giggled at her partner's antics.

 

“Huh? Oh sorry.” Davis muttered snapping out of his flashback as they went to TK's house. Iris was already there. Kari greeted and hugged her then hugged TK as well.

 

“Gatomon wanted to spend some time with Patamon.” Kari said before TK could ask and TK nodded smiling in understanding and turned to Patamon who was looking happy.

 

“Looks like you'll have some company Pata. Anyway we best be off to the library if we wanna get good marks so you two have fun ok?” TK said hugging Patamon as Kari did the same with Gatomon and they waved goodbye. Patamon smiled over at Gatomon hugging her gently.

 

“I'm glad you decided to come Gato kun I missed you.” Patamon said and Gatomon smiled looking into his eyes they were always so sincere she always felt so comfortable being around Patamon.

 

“I missed you too Pata I really like hanging around with you. You're a really good friend Pata.” Gatomon said honestly causing Patamon to flush slightly hearing Gatomon say that.

 

He looks so cute when he blushes Gatomon thought to herself then turned slightly pink as she thought that she looked away so Patamon wouldn't see it.

 

“I really hanging around with you too Gatomon you really make me feel like I'm something special and make me feel important. But you're the beautiful one Gatomon both on the inside and the outside.” Patamon said softly and it was Gatomon's turn to blush and she was surprised when Patamon moved forward kissing Gatomon softly on the lips but she didn't resist and kissed back brushing her tail against Patamon's back they kissed passionately for awhile before breaking apart both digimon blushed a shade of red it took them awhile to get things back to normal before the two digimon just lay next to one another talking about their adventures and all they had been through together.

 

Meanwhile Davis, Kari, TK and Iris were at the library studying when Kari got up to get a book from one of the back sections soon Davis got up and moved over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. Kari let out a gasp as she dropped the book she was holding.

 

“Davis!” Kari squealed and giggled as Davis laughed spinning her around then lifting her up in his arms and bringing her down slowly and kissing her on the lips passionately and she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed back before breaking away.

 

“Davis someone will see us!” Kari whispered and Davis sighed.

 

“I know my angel I just cant help myself around you.” Davis said seductively kissing her neck softly causing Kari to let out a whimper of pleasure and almost didn't want to move away so she let him kiss her for awhile before forcing herself to move.

 

“You really know how to tempt me don't you lover boy?” Kari teased before grabbing his hand and pulling him along as she added “Now come on before TK and Iris come and start wondering what we're up to.” Causing Davis to laugh slightly earning a whack in the head from Kari the two had a beautiful relationship and things seemed so peaceful little did they know the peace wouldn't last.
