No lemony goodness in this Chapter. Just lime, *evil laughter* (If you consider shirtless Tai, lime...I don't, but some people might ^_^;;). Sorry for the delay folks, but I went to visit my family for Thanksgiving. =^_^= (Side note: Cherona is just Kaede's friend, not a main character or anything.)

Tai's heart almost leapt out of his chest. Matt was...was...kissing him! Matt slowly pulled back and waited the inevitable, already shielding his heart for rejection.
"Matt..."
Matt looked at his friend, and Tai thought his heart was going to burst. The blonde's eyes were so intense and full of admiration. Tai had only seen Matt's eyes look like this only once before. The shield around Matt's heart crumbled, he could see the love and acceptance shining in Tai's chocolate-brown eyes. Yamato leaned forward, laced his fingers with Taichi's, and firmly pressed his lips to Tai's. It was somewhat of an awkward kiss, Tai's bottom lip was pressed against the seam of Matt's lips. Matt could feel his fingers trembling, it was his first kiss all over again. Tai's stomach was doing flip-flops, he was finally kissing Matt!!

"I wonder how Tai's doing." Hiroshi said, slipping his hand into Akira's
"I dunno. I wonder how Matt's doing...his eyes seemed so lost and empty." Akira replied.
"Yeah."
"I don't understand why he puts up with Sora. She treats him like dirt..."
"I don't think *anyone* understands why Matt even went out with her in the first place."
Akira giggled, "Be nice Hiroshi. Sora has a good side..."
"Sure and I'm ugly..."
Akira giggled and shook his head, "Maybe we should stop by the hospital. Y'know, to see if Tai is ok."
"Yeah..."
"Hiroshi?"
"Yeah?"
"...Do *you* remember where we parked?"
"Shit..."

After searching through rows and rows of cars Hiroshi finally spotted his blue Jaguar, and they were on their way.
"Which hospital do you suppose they went to?"
"Byousha is the closest to the rental place..."
"Then Byousha it is. If they're not there...we're going to your place and making out." Hiroshi grinned.
"That's all we ever do."
"Are you complaining?"
"Nope." Akira giggled, "Just stating the facts."
Hiroshi snickered and turned into the hospital parking lot.
"Aw damn, it looks like it's full...keep your eyes open for any empty spots..." Hiroshi said.
Akira nodded, and scanned the parking lot.
"Hey wait a minute...isn't that Matt's car?" Akira said, pointing.
Hiroshi stepped on the brake and looked "Hey, it is. Who's in there?"
"It's Matt 'n' Tai! And they're...kissing!"
Hiroshi almost had a fit, "WHAT!?"
"They're kissing!" Akira repeated excitedly.
"What kinda kissing!" Hiroshi exclaimed, leaning over Akira's shoulder.
"The heavy make-out kinda kissing." Akira replied.
The car behind Hiroshi honked, startling him.
"What're they doing now?" Hiroshi asked, putting the car in gear, and moving out of the way.
"Tai's shirtless."
"What?" Hiroshi said, slamming on the brakes.
"Tai is shirtless."
"That's a very bold move Mattie-boy, is Matt shirtless too?"
"Nope. Just Tai."
"*Very* bold move..."
Another car horn blasted at Akira and Hiroshi, loud enough to scare the crap out of both of them.

Tai was startled into reality by a car horn. The brunette blinked. Finally aware that his shirt was in a rumpled heap behind him. Finally aware of the fingers gently running over his nipples. Matt froze, why wasn't Tai responding anymore? He slowly pulled back, and fear gripped at his stomach. He caught fear and uncertainty in Tai's eyes.
"Tai...?"
"Can you take me home?"
"...Sure."
Matt started the car and pulled out of the parking space.
<I went too far...> Matt thought as Tai put his shirt back on and buttoned it up.
Tai nervously picked at the seat.
<There must be something wrong with me. I just helped Matt cheat on his girlfriend...! The worst part is...it felt good to kiss him....it felt good to have him touch me. There's gotta be something wrong with me. I want to kiss him again...>

"Hey...!" Hiroshi exclaimed, "where'd they go?"
"They were just there...maybe they decided to drive back to Matt's place and continue in a more private space..."
"Yeah..." Hiroshi shrugged, "Oh well...your place?"
"My place."

"Park around the side..."
"Okay."
Matt parked in a visitor's space, and looked at Tai.
"We need to talk about...what happened." Taichi said quietly.
"Yeah..."
"...Would you like to come in? Kari is probably still at Yolei's and my parents won't be home 'till later."
"Sure."
The two teens made their way up to the Yagami's apartment. Tai unlocked the apartment and ushered Matt in.
"You're with Sora." Was the first thing Tai blurted out.
"I know...but, I don't want to be..." Matt replied, pulling Tai close, "I want to be with you."
"H-how long have you felt this way?" Tai asked, blushing.
"I've always known I was 'different'. But...I developed a crush on you when I was eleven..."
"S-six years? You've liked me for six years?" Tai almost jumped, noticing that Matt's hands were moving to some very interesting territory.
"Yes....Tai?"
"Hmn?"
"...How long have you liked me?"
"A very long time...Matt? how come you never said anything to me before?"
"I-i don't know...I was scared. I was afraid of my feelings. I was scared of what my friends and family would say. And....I was petrified of what you would say. So, I buried my feelings."
"Is that why you started dating Sora?"
"Yeah....I thought there was something wrong with me. I tried liking girls, but I'd always find myself ogling at boys..."
"Like at the mall?" Tai smiled, "There's a lot of cuties there."
Matt blushed, "Yeah I noticed. Hey, how come *you* never said anything?"
"Because...you were...are....with Sora."
"Yeah..."
"So." Tai said, gently breaking away from Matt, "Now that everything is sorted out..."
"Tai..."
"...You're with Sora, Matt. I can't ask you to break up with her and date me. I can't do that to her. I know she can be a jerk, but she really likes you. I can't break you guys up."
"Tai...she's jealous, possessive, and obviously needs to have control over her partner's life. I can't deal with that, I can't be in a relationship like that." Matt said, taking a hold of Tai's hand, "I know way more about you than her. I can only see Sora as a friend, I can see you as a partner..."
"Matt I..."
"Kiss me, Tai."
"Ok..."
Tai leaned in and neatly captured his best friend's lips in a kiss. Matt sighed happily and parted his lips, trying to coax Tai into using his tongue. Taichi more than happily complied, sending his tongue forward to tangle with Matt's.

"Whatcha doin' Akira???" Usaki asked, barging into her brother's room.
"What does it look like?" Akira snarled.
"Swapping spit with a *boy*"
Akira rolled his eyes, and slid out of Hiroshi's lap.
"Get out Usaki."
"Why?"
"You *know* why."
"No I don't. Enlighten me."
"Just get out Usaki."
"Why?"
"So we can smooch in peace...!" Hiroshi grumbled.
"That's all you two ever do..." Usaki retorted.
"So? We love each other, and this is how we like to show each other that." Akira said, "Now get out."
"I don't know why mother lets you stay here..."
Akira balled his hands into fists, his anger growing. Hiroshi gently took Akira's hand in his and kissed it. He was used to Usaki's homophobic rants, but Akira wasn't. Hiroshi knew how much Akira's step-sister's comments upset him.
"Ignore her Akira...come here..."
The sandy blonde glared at his step-sister once more then sat beside Hiroshi.

Niru sighed heavily as he watched Sora going out of her mind.
"WHY isn't Matt back yet? How long does it take to take Tai home??"
Kaede looked at Koji, who just shrugged.
"She's *always* ranting about something Matt did/didn't do."
"Poor Matt."
"Our sentiments exactly."
"Kaede!" Cherona exclaimed, running up. "This is such big news!!"
"What is it?" Kaede asked.
"Look!" Cherona said, thrusting something in Kaede's face.
Kaede's eyes widened, "Oh my god...I don't believe this!"
