Tada! Chapter 5!! This Chapter has the longest make-out session in Digimon history! Mua ha ha! (No, it's not Hiroshi and Akira that are making out...) =^_^= ((Side note: I named Matt's band "Lunatic Calm" I dun care what the official name is, ok? ok. ^^))

"What? What is it? Let me see!" Koji said, trying to steal the apparent letter from Kaede.
"What is it?" Niru asked, more calmly than his companion.
"It's a letter." Kaede replied
"From...who?"
"Lyla Winchester."
"Who's that...?" Koji inquired.
"Maa! Just read the letter!" Kaede said excitedly, shoving the letter in Koji's face.
Dear Ms. Ichimatsu,
To my understanding you're the manager of Lunatic Calm, and I write to you today to give you an offer. My daughter, Kristi, attended one of the band's concerts in Osaka and greatly enjoyed them. I would like the band to play at my string of teenaged clubs in London. Hotel accommodations and transportation will be provided. Payment will be discussed upon the band's arrival. Please respond A.S.A.P. and thank-you for your time.

"Is this for real?? London??" Niru said, excitement seeping into his tone.
"Yeah!" Kaede answered, "I am so going with you guys!"
"I don't think it's a good idea." Sora interjected, "None of us speaks English that well..."
"I do." Cherona piped up, "I can translate if necessary."
"Yeah." Kaede added, "And what makes you think there's room for you? We have to take the band, me, Cherona, and Tai."
"What? Why Tai?" Sora burst out.
"He's the roadie. He helps us load equipment." Niru said.
"But he's battered at the moment." Sora pointed out.
"He'll heal." Koji said, losing patience. "Besides...he loads the lighter stuff anyway. I load the heavier stuff."
"Then what good is a roadie that only loads light stuff?"
Koji inwardly growled, and bit his tongue.
<Tai is good at cheering Matt up after you pick his performance apart...>
"Anyway." Kaede said, breaking the tense silence. "I should call Akira and Hiroshi and tell them this!"

Hiroshi rolled onto his side, and picked up the beside phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Hiroshi."
"Hi Kaede. What's up?"
"Oh...nothing much." Kaede said, a tone of amusement seeping into her voice.
"Oh really...then why'd you call me?"
"I got REALLY big news. Wake Akira up, get dressed, and find Matt. Meet us at the park, ok?"
"How'd you know I was naked???"
"Woman's intuition."
"I bet."
"Just get your lazy ass out of bed Hiro!" Kaede demanded, giggling.
"Hai, hai. I'll get Akira and Matt."
"All right, bye."
"See yuh."
Hiroshi hung up, groaned, and snuggled against Akira.
"Akira...wake up."
"Mmm...five more minutes, Dad. I don't want to go to school."
"Akira!"
Akira giggled, and sat up. "Didn't fool you, eh?"
"Nope." Hiroshi replied, kissing Akira. "Get dressed. We have to find Matt, Kaede has big news."
"Really? Did she say what it was?"
"Nope. She just said it was big, and to meet her at the park."
"I hope she got our band a good gig." Akira said, zipping his pants up.
"I hope it has to do with food."
Akira moaned, "That's all you ever think about. Food and sex."
"Damn straight!" Hiroshi giggled.
"Oh Hiroshi..."

<I bet I know exactly where Matt is> Sora thought, depositing money into the pay phone.

Matt groaned, his make-out session with Tai had been broken by the ringing phone. (See? See? Longest make-out session. It lasted two chapters! ^_~).
"Hello?" Tai said, trying to smooth his rumpled shirt.
"Hi Tai. Is Matt there?"
"Oh hello Sora. Yes, Matt's here...Matt, it's for you."
Matt stood, and took the phone from Tai.
"Hey hun." Matt said, a dagger of guilt stabbing into his heart.
"Hi Matt. Kaede has some big news. Meet us at the park, ok?"
"Sure."
"Great. Bye sweetie, I love you."
Matt started to feel sick, "I-i...uh...love...you...too..."
Matt hung up, and turned to look at Tai. Though Taichi avoided his friend's gaze by kneeling down to tie his shoe, Matt still caught the hurt in Tai's eyes.
<I'm such an idiot. I should have broke up with Sora right then! But...that wouldn't be me. I have to break up with her in person. Tai...I'm sorry, you shouldn't be feeling that hurt. I'm the one that should be feeling hurt...I would deserve it for putting you through this.>
"Tai...? I'm so sorry. You know I didn't mean what I said to her."
"I know." Tai replied, throwing his arms around Matt.
"Tai? Are you crying?"
"A little..."
"Oh Tai...I'm so sorry."
