Tai waited anxiously outside the washroom as Matt changed his clothes. Kaede offered to take Kari and Niru home, Cherona took the bus home, and Koji took Hiroshi and Akira home. So it was just him and TK waiting for Matt.
"So...what did you guys do during your visit?" TK teased.
Tai blushed and giggled, "Not much."
TK laughed and smiled. Matt finally came out of the washroom dressed in a black Dir en Grey T-shirt and jeans.
"Ahh. It feels so good to be in regular clothes." Matt sighed happily.
Tai and TK laughed and they each put an arm around Matt.
"We'd better get our butts to the car before mom has a conniption." TK said.
"Yeah." Matt agreed, nodding.
The trio made their way out to the Takaishi's car. TK got into the front seat and Matt opened the back door for Tai.
"After you beautiful." He said, smiling.
Tai returned the smile and got into the car-tripping and putting himself in a rather inviting sprawl on the back seat in the process. TK held in the giggle and Ms. Takaishi pretended not to notice the lusty look on Matt's face.
"Uhm...." Tai coughed nervously, "Oops."
TK broke into fits of giggles as Tai straightened himself up and put his seat belt on. After getting his hormones in check Matt got in the backseat and closed the door.
"Are we kidnapping Tai?" Nancy asked as she pulled out of the parking lot.
"Yeah." Matt replied without hesitation.
Tai giggled and took Matt by the hand-too shy to do anything else in front of Matt's mom. Matt smiled at Tai and rubbed his thumb over Tai's hand.
{I can't believe this is real. I'm out of jail. I got through court, and I get to be with Tai...}
Nancy turned the windshield wipers on as it started to drizzle.
"So TK." Nancy began. "This looks like a great day for some mother-son shopping."
TK was about to protest, but then smiled. "Yeah mom. It does look like a great day."
"Well then it's settled. We'll drop Matt and Tai off at the apartment and go shopping. Is that ok with you boys?"
"Sounds good to me, Mom." Matt said, smiling.
The white car swung around to the drop-off area and Matt 'n' Tai got out.
"See you boys later. We'll be back in time to drive you to Juri's Shop for sodas."
"Ok. Bye mom." Matt replied, shutting the car door.
Tai waved to TK and Nancy as they drove off. Matt wrapped one arm around Tai's waist and sheltered him from the rain with his coat.
"Want to hear some pick up lines I learned in jail?" Matt teased.
Tai giggled, "No thank-you."
Matt chuckled and led Tai into the apartment building. They piled into the elevator and shook the rain from their clothes.
"You look good wet." Matt grinned-pressing the button for his floor.
Tai smiled and snuggled himself into Matt. "I missed you."
"I missed you too, Tai. I dreamt about you every night. I missed the warm fuzzy feeling I got when we held each other..."
"Matt...."
"I dreamt about it would be like to touch you again. I know...that it was only a week, but it felt like years to me...."
Matt laced his fingers with Tai's and gently pulled him forward-lowering his head for a kiss. Tai pushed himself against Matt-crushing their lips together in a long awaited kiss.
"Mmmm..." Matt cupped the back of Tai's head-threading his fingers through the silken chocolate strands.
The elevators pinged open and Matt, still joined by the mouth with Tai, walked backwards-leading Tai out.
"Got your key I hope..." Tai said, breaking the kiss momentarily.
"Mmph..." Matt said, pulling his key out of his back pocket.
He quickly unlocked the door and pulled Tai into the apartment. Tai's wet shoes squeaked across the floor as Matt ushered him through the kitchen. They flung off their wet jackets and kicked off their shoes.
"The guest room...." Matt whispered against Tai's ear before giving it a playful lick.
"M-hm." Tai agreed-pulling Matt in for another kiss.
Matt giggled against Tai's mouth and steered him backwards into the guest room. The rain pounded on the window as the couple peeled each other's clothes off.
"I love you so much..." Matt murmured-pulling Tai onto the bed.
