"Ugh, evil sun... or whatever the hell that light is."
It mocks me, the way its so brilliant and free outside of this damn cell... while I am still stuck in here...
No, more like my namesake "Fate" seems to mock and test my will.
To make me come to this god-forsaken land, to be utterly humiliated by a perverted dog-man creature, and finally to be sent into a prison with two boys of whom I have no clue on their intentions.
At least aforementioned boys seemed to be still in 'la-la-land" ...or dead...
Never mind I don't want to thing about that.
Either way, that meant I could come out of the darkness of this corner and be able to write in my diary! Who knows by the end of this thing, if I ever get out I could sell it and possibly become an author.

Day in hell number seven
Its been such a long time since I was free, or at least it feels like it.... this whole damn place makes me feel like an hour passed every second... or like ever second is like a year.
As far as the times the light has vanished from the room, I would say its been about seven and a half to eight days.
Since then I've been wondering my life...
How I got here...
Hell, I still can't believe I even have this log after that pervert dog-man or was it bunny-man basically frisked me and stole my dignity all for a stupid purple toy thing.
Speaking about that... I don't know where I even got the thing. The damned thing looks like a toy at some K-B Toys, or some shit like that…. I still have no clue what the significance was to this stupid thing. But even as I hold it in my hand... I feel the cool winds from back home during the summer time when I went to Camp Sabra.... Well the good times before I got caught stealing and lifting wallets....
Enough wondering... that will get me depressed over sad memories...
I look over my companions or the boys, and I can tell you what I see...
The first one seems to be a beaten up twenty year old who looked like he got in a fight with something big and powerful, his robe or was it a cloak was torn and dirty. Still through it all he sat in meditative pose without seeming to breathe.
The other one is different, an Albino kid who doesn't say a word even when he's awake, just always seems to be staring into nothingness. He also has this air of.... Well...I cant even figure it out. What's also interesting is the tell-tale scars and bandages all over his arm. I bet if I stripped him I swear he would have scars all over his body.
Ack! I guess with nothing to do my mind is shifting to some more seedy thoughts. Any ways... I keep on having this aching suspicion that someone is watching me, and it isn't these boys.
Shit, someone's coming...
-Faye 'Fate' Hartly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
Faye gave a sigh and slipped the small pocket journal shut and placed it into her right side pants pockets, all this occurred just as a humanoid shadow appeared.
The red headed girl merely crossed her arms and moved out of the light of the cell, just as a bug eyed humanoid with flamboyant orange hair passed her cell. The creature took one look at her said something that almost sounded like "This should teach you and your kind to harm our lord" and then sneered walked up close and spit on her and then left.
The young girl sighed and whipped off the spit on her face from the bug man and then unpocketed the stupid device once more that got her in the problems in the first place.
"Why the hell does Fate have to be such a bitch?!" the muttered angrily careful not to wake the other in the cell.
"I'm sure... that depends on the destiny that is to come." A quiet voice spoke out from somewhere in the cell.
The girl quickly turned around and searched for the place the voice had come from, but to no avail.
"It couldn't be one of the boy could it?"
She turned towards the old man she had written off as dead or dying, surprisingly his skin had once again gained a healthy tanish color.
" It seems that my message was in vain once more... if the ones I had called for are the ones who need rescuing." The voice seemed dry, cold…almost defeated, it gave Faye the chills just hearing it once.
However suddenly thanks to the man's offhand comment she threw all thoughts of dignity to the side in the name of anger and moved up close to the man. She basically grabbed him by the scuff of his shirt or the rags that use to be a shirt. The pain of using her unready muscles or the fact her young breasts were in view of whom ever so dared look vanished from her mind, because now she had a way to find out what was going on.
"You! You're the reason I'm here!" she screamed with a downright accusing tone of voice.
The man's eyes opened but instead of sadness, or even a look of regret the only emotion that was upon his face was... confusion. It was clearly etched on his fic and almost unseeing gaze.
"Of course I am, didn't you get the message on the D-Terminal you found?" he stated in a matter-of-fact tone, that did nothing to calm down the pissed off exposed young girl in front of him.
Faye's closed her eyes in concentration, also in a vain attempt to calm down and after a moment pulled out her purple device.
"Is this what you meant Old Man? It hasn't given me any message at all..."
With that said she unpocketed the thing that had gotten her into this whole mess in the first place: the Amethyst device, and showed it to the obi-wan look a-like. The man's gaze didn't even seem to register the device, until she handed him the device.
Almost as instantaneous as his first expression was, a glimmer of hope appeared within the blank eyes of the man.
"I'm sorry miss, I did not mean the D-3, I meant the D-Terminal... I believe it looks like a rectangular box, with a antenna on its top…" as he described he tried to draw the vaguely remembered object on the dusty floor.
Faye looked at the drawing confused and after a few moments just shook her head in the form of "no". The moment she did that, the old man's eyes sparkled to life, and he seemed to gain color to his skin.
"Then that means there are still others who may still be able to free us!" he exclaimed, suddenly loosing the appearance of a thirty year old and seemingly rejuvenating into only a beat up twenty year old.
"What do you mean? Hope? How do you know that?" she asked, more out of curiosity then actual hope.
"My Dear young lady, the only reason you could have gotten your device is because someone from your world, pulled my D-terminal from where ever it landed…nothing else should have unlocked the other devices."
Faye and the man became so lost in thought they didn't notice their only light gain a shadow... or the fact the shadow had long ears and a small body.
"Are we there YET?!" once again the immaturity of the youngest Levi began to show as she used the most annoying line that any digimon or human ever heard.
Dov turned back to his sister, who had once again asked him, what he considered the most annoying question in the entire world. Taking a deep breath he ignored her and started to walk a little bit faster to catch up with the 'guides' or their 'digimon partners' as they called it, all the while clenching the "stupid-annoying-evil" box in right hand.
It had been awhile but he still didn't trust them enough to let his guard down... after all It seemed too much of a coincidence that they should arrive in such an odd place and immediately gain 'guardians' like this was some sort of adventure out of one of those fantasy books....
*********
Dov awoke to find himself laying face first on something a tad bit bouncy. When he opened his eyes, and sat up to look around. He saw exactly where his face had been located, automatically, he turned bright red and quickly got up and off his sister...as fast as he possibly could.
As soon as he got himself a bit more composed, the eldest Levi child looked around the area he where he had ended up....and his jaw promptly dropped.
Unlike the beaten down and vandalized synagogue he must have fallen asleep in, he was now in an open field covered in dead grass. The also seemed to be no evidence of a thing of technology or civilization anywhere around, or at least that he could tell.
Well maybe except for that huge pack of Triceratops about a few feet away that was grazing on the grassy hill....
"Wait one moment… Triceratops? no it cant be...those have a huge horn on their nose kind of like a Rhino?! What the hell...?!" those were his last thoughts before everything went to hell.
About that time, one of the 'sleeping' monster's eyes opened and glared directly at Dov and his snoozing sister. It got up to its feet and then let out a deafening call which seemed to wake up the other beasts, yet not seem to effect Sara. After this action it and the other turned and faced the confused children.
It was at this point they began to charge towards the baffled preteen.
While this occurred, Dov attempted to go near his sister to try and wake her up but a dark light seemed to form around himself as he attempting to come near her and what was worse it tried to repel him from his own sister. It started to hurt just to come even close to her. Still he ignored the feeling although by the time he had reach his sister and tossed her over his shoulders, the pain was so unbearable that Dov had to clench his fist enough to draw blood...just to ignore the pain.
However all this effort was useless, because as soon as he lifted her to his shoulders and tried to walk or run in the opposite direction from the beasts... he ended up falling down to the ground and begun to roll down the hill almost in the opposite direction from his sister.
He turned his body with as much power as he could, and crawled towards his sister. Once again the sphere of a purplish hue appeared as he tried to come close to her, and the pain came once again, but he was determined to ignore it to defend his sister.
The beasts were now about a about five yards away, when he reached his sister. Ignoring the cries of his aching muscles he forced himself to stand and adapt a guarding position.
He could only watch as the Monsters closed in...
He silently sent out a prayer to Hashem to protect his sister, and also whisper a plea that his sister would be ok... even if he didn't survive.
He watched, as the beasts got closer.... and closer...
Then out of no-where two balls of flame jumped in front of him.
One seemed to be made of a blue and black flame, while the other one was the normal red, orange, yellow flame.
The dark fireball's surrounding color seemed to grow darker...
"Petit Meramon...evolve to Bakumon!"
When the dark light seemed to fade, an Elephant like creature or was it a small cutesy version of a Tapir was standing in front of him, except it also was legless...having only a vapor like bottom like a genie.
It was weird but Dov felt that even in that world the creature's looks seemed to be unnatural. Almost like the color of the monster was all wrong... especially the black band on its arm or what looked like its arm.
The newly 'evolved' monster closed its eyes...and a black flame seemed to cover his body. The mysterious ring seemed to have glowing symbols mysteriously appear on it while this occurred.
"Nightmare Syndrome!"
The flame around the creature seemed to grow and then leave the creatures body and head toward the group of charging Triceratops/Rhinos, striking the biggest one that seemed to run as soon as the flame hit it.... Not in pain... but more out of fear.... At least that's what it seemed.
The monster turned towards Dov and started to walk to the startled team of children. The other fireball bounced right past the eldest Levi child and toward the youngest of the two. However, the ball didn't notice a the boy's hand till it whacked the bouncing flame away from his sister.
"STAY AWAY! LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!" Dov ignored the intense burning sensation upon his hand as he crossed his arms and stood in a protective stance infront of his sister from the creatures.
The fallen monster seemed to glare at the Jewish boy, and look towards the 'Bakumon' who gave her a stern look, which she ignored and looked back towards the snoozing child.
Dov then noticed that the "Bakumon" seemed to walk towards him. His hands up in the air as a sign of surrender.
"Yisrael... my sister and I do not mean any harm to you or your sister, In fact we wish to aid help you as best we can."
The Jewish boy's eyes widened as the creature got closer and closer, yet instead of feeling anything akin to fear.... He got a feeling he got when his family was together. Comfort and Safety...those were what he felt as the creature neared.
The Bakumon reached about a foot when he bowed his head.
"My Name is Bakumon, and this is my sister digimon; Petit Meramon.... And we are your guardians...."
*************
Despite they were their digimon, Dov trusted the two 'digimon' in front of him as far as he could throw either one of them. After all who would trust something that just defeated a herd of powerful looking monsters with one attack then say "I'm your guardian too much like those fantasy novels he had read before.
However, as usual it was his sister who made the decision for him, whether he liked it or not.
As soon as she woken up had taken to both of them like a kid given a brand new present. She grabbed both Petit Meramon and Bakumon and hugged them.... Only letting go when the fireball digimon burned her hand.
The only conciliation was that his 'guardian digimon' seemed to be utterly afraid of his sister after that. Well that was till HIS sister berated him for such a silly fear....
Dov shook his head...
"Well if he does get out of line, I sic Sara on him, heh"
He had other things to think about.... that thought could wait for later…First thing was how to get the hell out of this... Illusion.
After all what else could it be, his body felt more invigorated, and he actually felt more at home then ever before... almost like he belonged here.
But that couldn't be right, he was son of Rabbi Smith Levi, and Rachel Levi, a member of the Levi tribe...one of the original thirteen tribes of Israel.
He was interrupted by his musings when his sister asked the question again.
"How much long..."
Dov was getting ready to start his annoyed reply when he noticed it stopped mid way and his sister had stopped her question, he instantly snapped out of his non-chant attitude, and saw that his sister had somehow got infront of him without his knowing and seemed to be kneeling near what appeared to be a corpse.
Without thought he ran after his sister, forcing the genie-like bakumon to move up the pace to catch up with him.
When he arrived at the corpse's body he noticed his sister had her hand on the dead boy's neck, as if checking for a pulse. He tried to approach her to live the corpse alone, but as soon as he got close to her, she turned to face him a bit white.
"Dov, this kid...I think he's still alive..."
