Deciding not to reminisce too much, she turned on her 'I'm a cute-little-innocent-angel look' and walked closely up to her brother. She then proceeded to question him.
”No FAIR!” her defense had started to crumble as her wised young lady image shattered into the image of a bratty child.
”Yep, I am being a mean, cruel, rotten older brother, after all it in our contract.” His tone had lost its sincerity and was now down right mocking.
”You…You…You…JERK!” with that she stormed out the room, with all the rage of a child denied her favorite toy. Had she stayed a bit longer she would have noticed the small beads of sweat rolling down her brother's face, or the seriously far-away glance he was giving.
”What is this? Even Hashem doesn't want me to know the truth?! Sara mentally questioned as the bizarrity of the events went on in her mind.
Life was an average thing for me, basically all I really had to do was act up and guilt trip my parents when I wanted something and protect my sister from the children and adults who picked on her due to her odd way of worshiping Hashem. Hey it's her life, let her do what she wants.
It's been like this since my sister first decided she wished not to be like a traditional Jewish women, but like a traditional Jewish man. In fact when she snuck into a shuel dressed as a Jewish male, I took the blame upon himself by saying it was my fault that she went, and that I had dared her to do it. That was one of the first times my father slapped me for daring to 'corrupt' my sister.
However within the course of a day... almost everything I knew and loved would vanish like a candle's flame in the wind, and I would find myself faced with challenges I never expected to face in my life.
- Yisrael "Dov" Levi,

" Mo-deh a-ni l'fa-ne-cha me-lech chai v'ka-yam she-he-che-zar-ta bi nish-ma-ti b'chem-la ra-bah e-mu-na-te-cha."
These were first sounds in the morning that usually woke up twelve-year-old Yisrael Dov Levi from his slumber; the singing from his ten year old sister's nice soft soprano voice.
However this was one of his rare "sleep-in" days, which merited one and only one thing....
His door was flung open and his sister in his old clothing; an old (2)tzitzi, a white shirt and long black pants, came into his room immediately ran to his bed.
"Time for morning prayers, Dov!" she announced cheerily, before yanking him out of bed in his under clothing towards the bathroom to do the washing ritual. Not really carrying he was merely in his boxer shorts and nothing else.
It was around this time he would, wake-up break out of her grasp, and actually get dressed then meet her by the bathroom, if not a tad bit red.
As Usual, by then he would make the excuse that he already washed his hands, and after a glaring contest they would eventually just forget it and head into the living room and go get food.
However today was…. slightly different, they were not greeted by their father or mother holding a cup of apple or grape juice for them to say blessings over, but a note on the wall saying:
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Went to talk to Rabbi Goldstine about some things regarding the mysterious lights around the abandoned shuel lately. Please don't forget to go to shuel today Yisrael, and Sara please don't listen to your brothers dares.
Love Tatti
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
After reading the note then reading it again to make sure the information was correct, Sara turned to her big brother. On her face she wore a certain look in her eye that she knew was usually able to get him to spill anything he was hiding. That is unless it had something to do with “That Night” but then again he never did tell anyone about it.
Deciding not to reminisce too much, she turned on her 'I'm a cute-little-innocent-angel look' and walked closely up to her brother. She then proceeded to question him.
"Yisrael, did you know anything bout what's happening at the abandoned shuel lately?" she asked in a stern tone one wouldn't think possible for someone of her age.
Her brother merely avoided the look and started to focus on the ceiling, and started to walk towards the door. The entire reaction was so suspicious that Sara decided he was hiding something and got a bit angry.
"Yisrael, If you don't tell me I will go there myself!" once again she spoke in a stern tone that showed a small hint anger.
Her brother turned towards her and looked her strait in the eye, and told her...
"Sorry Squirt, but it's some thing you shouldn't go to…and that's final.” He spoke in a stern manner-of-fact type of tone.
”No FAIR!” her defense had started to crumble as her wised young lady image shattered into the image of a bratty child.
“Sorry, but life isn't fair Squirt.” His tone had dropped to a soft and quite tone almost a hint of a hidden emotion within it, but the younger of the two was too lost in her own world to notice.
”You're…You're…You're just being mean, Yisrael!” She wined with all the grace and poise of a bratty sibling half her age.

She arrived in her room in an angry mood, slamming the door in her wake with enough force to hurt her poor wall.
Then after taking a few breaths and punching her pillow enough times she finally calmed down, and finished getting dressed. She grabbed her sidor from her desktop. Sara then proceeded to leave her room and walk towards the entryway to the small house.
The young girl then snatched a kipa from its resting place on the stack of her brother and father's kipa stack and headed out the door tapping the Mezuzah on the entry way of her front door just before leaving the house.
After selecting her destination, she turned right and headed towards the old village area where the old shuel use to be.

She didn't notice that she had something following her other then her shadow.
*********************
By the time Sara had arrived at the shuel it was around mid-morning. However, in actual truth, It felt more like it was mid-night. The reason for this was the usual mid-morning sun couldn't even seen because it was hidden by clouds so dark it made the sky appear pitch black.
The winds that the young Jew felt were harsh, yet gave a weird feeling. It was almost as if they to were hiding something, in how they forced their way, they seemed to gain strength the closer she got to the synagogue.
”What is this? Even Hashem doesn't want me to know the truth?! Sara mentally questioned as the bizarrity of the events went on in her mind.
After a few seconds she pushed the weird thought from her mind and continued her quest.
When arrived at the synagogue the winds suddenly stopped, the sky was still cloudy but not as dark as it was before. Once again she pondered this before pressing on.
Sara opened the door of the shuel, and then the feelings she got made her feel like she was in ancient Egypt when Hashem channeled his power through Moshe and gave the Egyptians the ten plagues.

Sara opened the door of the shuel, and then the feelings she got made her feel like she was in ancient Egypt when Hashem channeled his power through Moshe and gave the Egyptians the ten plagues.
Within her mind she kept on reciting the special prayer of Shema as she
entered the hallowed hallways of the once sacred shuel. Every now and then she could swear something was following her, so she gripped her “Star of David” pendent and started to walk forward.
As she kept her pace she finally entered the room where the praying use to be done, and nearly feel to her knees in disbelief; the entire area was covered in golden graffiti.
"What the hell?!"
Sara turned sharply to find her brother starring in disbelief at the room as well. After she got over her initial shock at his appearance, anger set in and she sent it full force towards her brother using her eyes as medians.
She could definitely see she was making the older sibling nervous as he started to look at the ceiling and whistle as the while scratching his head.

"Yisrael Levi! Don't you dare think that look of yours will get you out of trouble like it does with our parents, what the hell are you doing following me!" Her tone had all the righteous fury an explorer might have if finding that his sponsor had beat him to the treasure.
However, despite that strong fury she seemed to send his way, he seemed to still ignore her. This action was easily making the younger of the two Levi children start to see red.
"Somebody, anyone... hopefully... chosen... help."
However, neither one of the two siblings noticed or paid any attention to the mysterious voice, with the eldest seemingly studying the dirty ceiling, and the youngest shaking in anger.
"Somebody, anyone... hopefully... chosen... help."
"WHAT IS... " Sara turned to face the mysterious voice, and turned white... There before her was a ghost of a man in a torn grayish robe with bloodstains towards his chest and arms as well as his face. His brown hair was matted and in disarray also his posture was not of a man standing up, but of a man who was forced to crawl.
Sara immediately closed here eyes, and then she grabbed her pendent. Then she began to chat the shema once again.
"Sh'ma Yisrael Adonai Elohaynu Adonai Echad, Barukh Shem K'vod Malkhuto L'olam
va-ed"
Yisrael looked at the image and then turned towards his sister noticing she was shaking and holding her pendent for dear life, as well as chanting the most `sacred' of prayers. He watched the so-called ghost as it seemed to be stuck in a perpetual loop with Its image resetting back to the beginning after it ended.
"Sis... "
His sister seemed to ignore him, so he grinned mischievously and started to tickle her sides something, which never failed to wake her out off praying. As usual she woke out of her "praying mode" by almost screeching in surprise and before starting to giggle then laugh out loud. By the end of this little stunt, Sara's face had become bright red.
When he was done she got up close to him and glared.
"What is it Yisrael!?" she almost yelled at him, just barely restraining herself.

He merely pointed at the so-called ghost, or more precisely a
small metallic object under it.
"It's just a ghost not a real ghost, look at the bottom of it... Some kind of projection-thing-a-ma-jig a foreigner or some kid left here for kicks and grins." He stated manner-a=factually before he walked over and waved his hand threw the image and it flicked slightly.
"See, now let me get it out and we can go home, this place is giving me the creeps." His voice had taken a slightly smaller tone, but not enough for Sara to notice.
He walked over the device and tried to pull it out to show his sister, but the device just wouldn't move at all.
"Hey Squirt, get over and help me get this piece of junk out of here."
After growling slightly, Sara tucked her pendent in her shirt walked over to the area and attempted to aid her brother in removing the device... However as soon as her hands touched the device that her brother was holding the device seemed to loose the adhesive that kept it to the ground.
Suddenly the air started to crackle with energy, and then everything went black.
********************
Dov awoke to find himself laying face first on something a tad bit bouncy. When he opened his eyes, and sat up to look around. He saw exactly where his face had been located, automatically, he turned bright red and quickly got up and off his sister...as fast as he possibly could.
As soon as he got himself a bit more composed, the eldest Levi child looked around the area he where he had ended up.... and his jaw promptly dropped.
Unlike the beaten down and vandalized synagogue he must have fallen asleep in, he was now in an open field covered in dead grass. The also seemed to be no evidence of a thing of technology or civilization anywhere around, or at least that he could tell.
Well maybe except for that huge pack of Triceratops about a few feet away that was grazing on the grassy hill....
"Wait one moment Triceratops no it cant be...those have a huge horn on their nose kind of like a Rhino?!
What the hell?!" those were his last thoughts before everything went to hell.

Just to annoy his parents or sister.

Appearance: Long wavy brown hair, with eyes with very alluring hazel eyes. Her hair is usually braided on Saturdays mornings and evenings and hidden under the back of her shirt when she is trying to sneak into shuels to pray with the men.
She is not your average traditional girl… She would rather be a guy, then a traditional Jewish female. She often shows this by going to service in her brothers old Jewish clothing and hiding her hair. When asked by her brother or another Jewish person she will say she would rather learn torah and not deal with the barrier between the sexes and stay behind a wall and not see the rabbi when he reads.

Author Notes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm going to have a few problems with one of the characters in this fiction, I would appreciate any help people can give me on Muslim culture, and how a young Muslim male would act. Also how their religion interact... Any help would be very appreciated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The words are from the early morning prayer of the "Mo de ani",
Traditionally it is said when you just wake up. It's said in literal tradition that It is suppose to be the first thing you say as soon as you become conscious.
The Tzitzi is technically something all Jewish men wear under there clothing, they go under all clothing except an undershirt... the fringes are meant to be seen. However, the only group this author has seen this with is merely the orthodox community and maybe some of the Jewish men who are in-between the conservative and orthodox views of Judaism. The fringes in themselves are very important representing all the different laws in the Torah.
The hand washing thing isn't something used for Hygiene, but its used to "clean" your hands. It consists of saying
"Ba-ruch a-tah A-do-nai, E-lo-hei-nu,
Me-lech Ha-o-lam,
a-sher ki-d'sha-nu b'mits-vo-tav,
v'tsi-va-nu, al n'ti-lat ya-da-yim..
Traditionally a canister is filled with water then dumped in a 1,2, 1,2, 1,2 order.
A Kipa or otherwise known as a Y'amcha or a Skullcap, is a item that is considered a must that Jewish men and boy's must wear all the time. Its not proper to be without it.
The Shema is considered one of the holiest of prayers, and if afraid it is considered the most powerful scripture to protect yourself.
It basically says; Hear o Israel, The Lord is our god, the Lord is one, Blessed be the name of his glorious kingdom for ever and ever.
Its followed by the V-ahavfta
