Ok, so now the new digidestined are searching for Takuya and the gang. But they don't know that they just missed them! Ok, now onto the next chapter.

Chapter 5: The Spirits

The kids were walking for what felt like weeks to them.

"The place I left the others was at the steel area," said Patamon.

"The `steel area'?" said Ozuma, "Ok, this place has got weird names."

"We are almost there guys, don't worry," said Patamon.

"We've been walking for so long!" cried Tareesa.

"Yeah, she's right," said Aisha, "Let's rest please!"

"But we just started walking!" exclaimed Ozuma, "Didn't you guys get all the sleep you needed?"

"Hey, Ozuma, breakfast was nothing," said Asma, "I'm hungry again."

"Well, the place where we are going has a place to eat inside!" said Patamon.

"Really!" cried Whyet, "That's great!"

The gang suddenly stopped walking.

"Wow, is this the steel area?" asked Lance.

"Oh no," cried Patamon, "This means that they've lost!"

The kids looked all around. What used to be a steel area was no longer there. It looked empty and deserted.

"Hey," said Tareesa, "Why are there holes all over the ground?"

"That's because the royal knights stole all the data of this place," said Patamon.

"What are you talking about?" asked Ozuma, "What are the royal knights? And why is this place made of data?"

"Oh brother," said Asma, "Aisha, lets explain this to them."

"Hey, I wanna explain too!" said Whyet.

Asma, Aisha, and Whyet filled in the others on what was going on. After that they walked on passed the area once known as the "steel area" and went on looking for the others.

"Now where are we going?" asked Ozuma.

"I'm getting tired of looking guys!" shouted Whyet, "We have no idea where the other kids are! How the heck are we supposed to look for em'?"

"Please don't say that," said Patamon, "We'll find them, I know we will."

"Well Patamon," said Asma, "Where are we headed next?"

"Well, we are already here. This is the flame terminal."

"Wow, I remember this place!" shouted Whyet, "It's where Takuya first became a digimon right?"

"Yeah it is!" cried Aisha.

They looked around them. There were digimon playing all over the place.

"AHHHH!" shriked Tareesa, "what are they?!"

"TAREESA!" shouted Whyet, "We explained to you that this world is full of creatures called digimon!"

"Oh yeah," said Tareesa, "I guess they are pretty cute, just like you Patamon."

"OH MY GOD!" shrieked Asma, "I'm gonna talk to them."

"They can talk?" asked Ozuma, "I mean I didn't know animals could talk."

"They aren't animals Ozuma!" yelled Aisha, "And besides, Patamon could talk."

"Oh right," said Ozuma, still sort of confused.

All of a sudden a huge creature came out of nowhere. It was tall and bony.

"It's skullsatamon!" shried Patamon.

"OK, NOW THAT IS UGLY!" yelled Tareesa.

SkullSatamon started to destroy everything, "Where is the fractal code!" he shouted.

"We won't let you take it!" shouted Asma

"Asma," said Lance, "We can't stop it!"

"But we can!" said Aisha, "We have to use these," she took out her d-tector.

"Alright!" said Whyet, taking his out.

"EXECUTE………SPIRIT EVOLUTION!" shouted Whyet.

"WOW!" all the kids said in unison, "He looks incredible!"

"Now, it's my turn!" shouted Ozuma, "EXECUTE………SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"

"C'mon guys we can do it too!" shouted Asma.

"EXECUTE………SPIRIT EVOLUTION!" the rest of them shouted.

"Wow," said Patamon, "They have become the legendary warriors!"

"HEY SKULL HEAD!" shouted Asma, "WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!"

Skullsatamon dropped a biyomon that he was holding, "So, you challenge me?"

"SHADOW SPHERE!" shouted Aisha.

"ICICLE SPIN!" shouted Tareesa.

"AHHHHH!" Skullsataon fell to the ground. Just then another one appeared.

"SO THERE ARE MORE OF YOU HUH? LUMINOSITY!" shouted Asma.

"THUNDER PUNCH!" shouted Lance.

Skullsatamon fought back but he was too weak. Another one appeared.

"TWO DOWN AND ONE TO GO! FLARE BEAMS!" shouted Ozuma.

"CYCLONE!" shouted Whyet.

The last skullsatamon fell.

"WE DID IT GUYS!" shouted Tareesa.

"Yes we did!" said Asma.

Just then Crusadermon showed up.

"Hmm, new spirits ay? Well, they are still no match for me."

"GUYS, THOSE ARE THE ROYAL KNIGHTS!" shouted Whyet.

"Let's get em'!" said Asma, furiously.

"DARK MATTER!" shouted Aisha.

All the other digimon who live there help out too.

"Ha! Is that the best you've got?" said Crusadermon, "I don't have time to play games, thank you so very much for the fractal code!" Crusadermon took the fractal code and left.

"HEY! COME BACK HERE!" yelled Ozuma.

"ERRRR………….I'M GONNA KILL HER." Asma screamed.

"Hey, guys she's gone, there's nothing left to do here," said Patamon.

"EXECUTE," all the kids shouted in unison. They were themselves again.

"I can't believe what just happened!" said Lance.

"Well, it's simple, we lost!" said Whyet.

"Oh, c'mon guys, we can still try and stop them from destroying the other places!" said Asma.

"Let's go to Ophanimon's castle," said Patamon, "We must get there before the royal knights do!"

"Lead on my man," said Ozuma.

And they all started to walk onwards.
