*Lately, been thinkin' bout' you baby. Just sittin' away, watchin' the day go by*

Another tear rolled down Kari's cheek as she watched the street below from her apartment.

A storm raged on violently outside. Someone tapped lightly on the door.

"Kari! Its Me!! TAI!!"

Kari quickly whipped the tears from her face and ran to the door.

"Tai? Sora? What are you two doing here?" Kari asked after opening the door for them.

"The sotrm was to bafd for us to get home, " Tai answered "You'll let us stay here fight lil sis?"
"Of course Tai, make yourself comfy."

"Thank you so much Kari" Sora said looking quite tired "I don't think I could have made it home."

Don't worry, you two sleep in my bed. I'll take the couch." Kari said smileing.

After Jaru nade syre ger britger abd gus wife were settled okay, she went back to her window seat.

*How you ever felt the breeze hit your heart? Like the wind was blowing it apart?*

It was 2:30 AM. Kari sat huddled in the window seat, sobbing softly.

"Hikari-Chan?" Her brother spoke sitting beside her, putting a comforting arm around her.

"Whats the matter sis, you can tell me."

Kari leaned over and rested her head on Tai's shoulder. He rubbed her shoulder gently.

"T.K. he..he...I miss him Tai, I can't love anyone else but him!" she sobbed.

"But, Kari didn't you two break up months ago?"

She nodded.

"And you've been upset all this time? Sis, you and I need to get close again. I've been away from you too long."

Kari stayed silent.

"You've been upset about T.K. this who time and I didn't even know?"

He held her close to him, "I'm sorry Kari. We'll talk more in the morning. Don't you have school in the morning? ((~Auther's Note: Kari is in colledge now, just fYI!~)) You need to get some rest. Its way to late for you to be up."

Tai picked up his little sister and placed her on the couch, and covered her up. He kissed her forhead then smiled and headed back to bed with his wife.

*Has you spinnin' like a merry-go-round. Indications of a storm touching down*

Kari stared at the ceiling, and thought of the same scene that ran through her head hundreds of times.

"I'm sorry Kari, I really am," T.K. said placing a hand on Kari's shoulder. "I just think we should go our seperate ways." He walked out the door.

Another set of tears formed in Kari's eyes. She forced them back, then rolled over to her side.

"T.K.? Why did you do it to me..why?"

The tears she held back poured down her face on the bed. Then she cried herself to sleep.

*I wish that I could weather from the storm, but I guess its a heart break from the North*

Kari poured some coffee into Tai's cup and sat down across from him.

"Sora still sleeping?" she asked.

"Yea, she's been pretty tired these days. The baby is due any day now."

"Wow, I'm going to be an aunt. Did the sonogram say it was going to be a boy?"

"Yup, Taichi Jr. But, thats not what we need to talk about Kari. Whats going on? "

"I thought I was over T.K...I thought...that I could go on. But, after he just left me..I realized how much I loved him."

"Do you two ever talk?"

"Seldomly, Davis is around me a whole lot more now. Like I'm free game."

Tai frowned.

Kari looked at her watch.

"As a matter of fact, he'll he bere in about ten minutes."

"Kari, you need to talk to T.K. do you even know why T.K left you?"

She shook her head.

"I can't talk to him Tai, I see him twice a week in one of my classes and he can't even look at me much the less talk to me."

Tai sipped his coffee.

"Next week, Matt's having a big concert. He's inviting everyone. There you have to talk to T.K. now matter what. I can't stand seeing you like this Kari."

"All right Tai, I promise."

"Hey Kari! Open the door, it me! Davis!"

kARI GOT UP AND OPENED THE DOOR.

"HHEEEYY Tai!" Davis said looking over at him.

"Hey Davis," Tai said a little mono-toneish.

Davis put his arm around Kari.

"Ready to go babe?" He asked.

Taichi glared, and stood up.

He walked over to the two. He removed Davis's arm from around Kari's shoulders.

"My sister is not your babe, Davis."

"Hey, sorry man." Davis said backing up.

*Its the day I'll always remember, the saddest day, in sweet november*

Kari slid on a pair of black shorts, along with a sugar pink tee-shirt.

Tonight was Matt's big concert. She was scared out of her mind.

She desided to go down to the park and do some studying before she went.

She picked up her backpack, and walked down to the park. She sat down in the grass by the lake.

"Hey Kari, long time no see.." Kari looked over her shoulder to see Cody.

"Cody..Hey!"

"Happy to see me ar you?"

She laughed. "Yeah."

"You going to Matt's concert tonight?" Cody asked.

"Yup."

"Kari, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Why do you seem so sad, you're not yourself. You usually seem more..I don't know..different."

"Boy problems.." she sighed.

"Oh I see, that must be the reason why T.K. is having girl problems." he grinned.

Kari's eyes widdened.

The music boomed loudly. Sora and I walked inside, each of us linked to one of Tai's arms.

As we walked in we were greeted by Cody, Yolie, Izzy, Joe, Mimi and Davis.

"Tai! Whats up?" Izzy said happily.

"Oh nothing, just escorting my two favorite ladies. " Tai grinned.

Matt finished his first song, we all clapped.

A frown crossed Tai's face as Matt started he second song. T.K. walked up.

Tai moved his eyes from T.K. to Kari.

She sighed.

"T.K. can we talk?" Kari asked approching him.

He nodded and they walked outside.

Davis started to follow but Tai stopped him.

*Baby I'm on my kneeds, praying God help me please. Bring my baby back, right back to me*

"What is it Kari," he asked avioding her eyes.

"I just want to know why..T.K."

"Why what?"

"Why you dumped me!"

"You know perfectly well why I can't dumped you!"

"What! What are you talking about!"
"Stop it Kari!"

"Stop what! I cried for nights because of you! I prayed to God asking him what motivated you to just leave me! I asked him millions of times just to bring you back to me!" Kari screamed now sobbing.

"Wha..What do you mean?"

"I mean I want you back. I love you T.K.! I CANT JUST STOP!"

"What about you and Davis!"

"DAVIS!?!? YOU DUMPED ME BECAUE YOU THOUGHT I LOVED DAVIS!!!"

Well yea..I saw you two kissing!!"

"HE kissed me T.K. HE KISSED ME! I didn't kiss him. I punched him afterwords!"

"Kari..I ..I thought you...didn't love me anymore.."

*If loving you is right, I don't wanna go wrong.*

He hugged her close.

"Kari...I'm so sorry..please forgive me.."

She wrapped her arms around him also.

" I forgive you, please take me bck.." she burried her face in his chest and sobbed.

*So I drown myself in tears, sittin here singing another sad love song*

T.K. pushed Kari's chin up and brought his lips to meet hers. kissing her softly...longing..hungrilly.

"T.K...Kari you comin' back in?" Yolie said poking her head out the door. "Opps! got you to at the wrong time."

"Its okay.." T.K. smiled and took Kari's hand leading her back inside.

*Lately (I've been watching you) Been thinking bout you baby (Everything you do) Justting away watching the day go by*

"SOMEONE HELP!!" Tai called knealing beside Sora who was alying on the floor.

"Call and ambulance!!" Mimi cried.

Sora screamed loudly in pain.

"Taaaai! Somthings wrong!"she screamed.

Ambulance sirence screamed loudly in the background.

*Baby I've been torn apart, I wish you hadnn't broke my heart...I'm missin you baby, missin you everyday*

Everyone sat in the hospital waiting room.

Tai paced by the door, while Matt talked to him trying to calm him down.

Mimi sat on the couch beside Izzy and Yolie, with gloomy worried looks on their faces.

Ken, who had arrived a couple of hours ago was leaning against the wall.

Davis snored loudly on the floor.

T.K. and Kari sat on another couch, T.K. had his arm around her.

"I wish you would have never left me..but, I'm happy we're together again."

Kari said leaning against him.

"Me too...Kari?"

"Hmm?"

"I love you.."

"I love you too T.K."

*Lately, been thinkin about you lately. Just sitting away watching the day ....go by...*

"Mr. Kamiya?" A red haired nurse asked walking in.

"What!! What?!! Thats me! Whats wrong with Sora! Is she okay! You've left me here worrying for hours! How is Sora!" Tai yelled hysterically , he looked as if he were ready to strangle her.

"Calm down sir! Your wife is fine! Now sit down and I will explain what is happening."

Kari nudged Davis awake.

"Now, nothing sserious is happening. Mrs. Kamiya is in labor right now. We've desided to preform a C-section. Its for her safety and the babies do you agree?"

Tai looked to Kari with a confused look on his face.

She nodded. Tai turned back to the nurse.

"Okay.."

-A couple of hours later-

Everyone slept restlessly in the waiting room. Accept for Tai and Kari.

"So you two..back together?" Tai said looking at T.K.

"Yea..he thought I loved Davis of all people. But, its all worked out now.." T.K.'s head was rested in Kari's lap.

Tai sat on the other side of Kari with with his head on her shoulder.

"You're worried huh Tai?"

"Yeah..I didn't know having a baby would be so..stressful.."

"Mr. Kamiya!" the red headed nurse said poking her head out the door. "I have a surprise for you!"

Tai's tiredness melted away as he sprung from the seat.

"You have a healthy baby girl!" She said excited, presenting the baby to Tai.

Tai took the baby, and watched her carefully.

"Your wife requested the name Torrance Nicole Kamiya.."

Tai didn't take his eyes off his daughter.

"Tora.." Tai touched her face. "Hey everyone wake up! Meet Torrance!"

Kari wlked beide Tai, "Shes beautiful..You're a dady now.."

Tai didn't answer just smiled.

T.K. wrapped his arms around Kari from bhind.

"Hey aunt Kari," he whispered. His lips close to her ear. "Shes beautiful, just like her aunt."

*Lately...Baby..*

"Aunt Kawi! Aunt Kawi!" two year oldTorrance yelled toddleing to her aunt.

"Hey Tora! " Kari said picking her up. "How are you?"

"Goodie! Unki T.K." Tora reached out for T.K., who had just approched them.

"Hey sweetie!" T.K. said taking her in his arms.

T.K. leaned over and kissed Kari on her cheek, before continueding to talk to Tora.

"Guess what! Guess what!"

"What?" T.K. asked.

"Mommy and Daddy told me I'm going to have a new baby brother or sister!"

This fic was kinda an inside thing on somthing between my sister and I. She had a baby quite a few years back when I was ten. My nephew is now my best friend..even though hes just six.
