Chapter Five: Love + Hate = Stayin' Alive

The moon rose to its peak as Lee waited. He looked up to see the stars twinkle in night.

CRACK!

The prince turned swiping at the invader with his knife. A single flower fell to the ground as Lee's eyes widen in horror dropping the knife to his side. Stand right in front of him was Takato, his eyes shut shaking a little.

"Takato! Are you all right?" Lee panicked.

"Yea. But I can't give you the flower I got you. It's cut."

The dark haired prince bent down picked it up and looked at it. It had looked like a red rose. He then leaned closer and kissed his boyfriend then put it in his hair.

"Sorry that I couldn't get you something better …"

"What are you talking about? It's the thought that counts … not how much it's worth."

"If you say so …"

"Come on Takato-chan," said Lee touching his face, "let's go skinny-dipping."

"Yea!"

It wasn't long before they were stripped down to their boxers running to the water as the rose was soon forgotten and on the ground. Both boys where soaking wet as they splashed each other and laughing. After one moment of silence, they where leaning in for a kiss ….

WHEN

"Takato!"

Both boys turned their heads to see Mr. and Mrs. Mastuda running up with heavy armed solders. His mother looked very upset. Seeing this, one of the guards ran toward them. Taking no chances they swam toward the current. Mrs. Mastuda's eyes widen in fear as she started to strip.

"No! I'll go!"

The guard ran to the water and started to swim to the current but it was too late, Lee and Takato where swept down the river.

His eyes widen as he looked down the river. All he saw here a lot of rapist and rocks. He started to swim to shore when he saw Lee's family running up.

"Where is my son?" Mr. Jenyra demanded.

"He was swept away ….!"

The whole time the two families where arguing Suzie walked to the water.

"They're not dead."

"You sure?"

"Do you know where they are?" Mrs. Masuda asked trying to sound very urupt to the small child. "This is your entire fault Mrs. Jenyra! Because of you, my son has run away and might be fighting for his life because of you!"

"Yours! What about mine? Mind you, my son is the same situation!" Mrs. Jenyra pointed out.

"Clam down, hun," Mr. Masuda said putting his hands on his wife's shoulder, "we'll find them."

"That's right." Mr. Jenyra responded, "my son won't let anything happen to yours."

"All right," Mrs. Masuda snapped, "we'll help you find them, after that, you better keep your son away from mine or we'll kill him!"

"Then … same goes for yours!" Mrs. Jenyra threatened.

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

With no other threats, both families walked off, their guards following close behind as the cold wind howled. The rose was pushed by the wind to the lake. The waves made its way to shore taking the rose with it. The rose floated down the river coming in contacted with the waves. The waves spun the rose around as it floated along with the current; it finally came to a water fall. The rose tumbled down the water fall five feet down.

Takuya walked into his master's room to see the closet light on. He walked in to see Kouji packing some things. He turned asking if he was done with his job in the kitchen.

"Yes I am. Pardon me for speaking out …. Where are you going?"

"Prince Takato ran away …."

"Oh no," Takuya whispered.

"What? Is there something that you know?"

"No!" Takuya said quickly shaking his head.

"You better be telling the truth …!"

"I … I am …"

Juri ran down the hallway and into master's room to see her girlfriend crying and Suzie trying to comfort her. The young slave ran up sat next to her pulling her upper body to chest.

"Shh," Juri whispered in the girl's ear, "now, what happened?"

"Lee and Takato were caught by their parents and went down the rapist. I don't know where they are but are still a live." Suzie explained.

This is awful, Juri thought, why can't people just get along? The little voice in her head screamed. She just continued to rub her girlfriends back.

"We'll find Lee …"

"That's right. My brother can take care himself." Suzie insured Ruki.

"Thanks," Ruki breathed sitting up, "I appreciate the support."

Suzie smiled and walked out leaving the girls still holding onto each other closing the door softly behind her.

"Hirokazu, Kenta … do they know?" Juri asked.

"I'm not sure. Hirokazu might, since he's a Knight in training." Ruki answered.

"This is just terrible," Juri sighed, "having two people in love but having parents hate each other."

"Lee and Takato's parents hate each other?"

Juri simply nodded her head as Ruki sighed with a thoughtful look on her face.
